Mid-afternoon on a humid day...And of all the times for this to be the case...Why...Oh god why...Did Cynthia have to be in a place without a decent Ice Cream stand??

Cynthia had decided to relax, y'know? Get to walk around, get to know her new home, see what was around. And, few things were apparent. 1, Cynthia certainly wasn't back on her home planet. Especially not having a particularly awkward moment of trying to ask what Pokemon a goomba was. And 2...There was no ice cream shoppe in sight. A moment of definite defeat, for sure. Well, until she found SOMETHING akin to her favorite treat, she was SOL.



Cynthia had decided to stop next to a bench in the middle of Rainbow Square, with her three pokemon out of there Pokeballs for a short few moments, to give them a chance to relax, since it was apparent the life sphere didn't have that many rules on such things.



Milotic wrapped herself around the bench Cynthia was sitting upon, as if a watchful guard dog, as she looked around this confusing environment. Lucario took the seat right on the ground, silently looking at the floor, rubbing his arm. He was deinately the shy one.



Garchomp, however, was more interested in literally anything else. She started wandering off, until spotting a Oran berry tree. Considering this a score, She started trying to get some berry's onto her claw, and down to eat as a mid-day snack. Though, with as much force garchomp was using, she was practically just shaking the tree to the point of nearly having it snap in two, before finally pulling a good set of berries down, and wandering back to cynthia to chow down.

Shaymin was doing as she usually did while she was in the Life Sphere and was not taking care of other things, napping. She would like to rest in a location a bit more festive, beautiful and pretty... Like a humongous field of flowers that stretched as far as the eye can see. However, that was not going to happen on Li anytime soon so she had to rely on alternatives.

Luckily, she found an Oran Berry they were tending to in the Life Sphere. Probably as a source of food given how hard meat was to come by. Shaymin helped herself to a bit of a snack before falling asleep in the branches of the trees. It was pretty peaceful in the shade of the tree...

That is until it started shaking violently underneath you. Shaymin woke up in a startled fashion and looked around as the tree shook under her. She tried to maintain her balance as best she could on the tree but that seemed nearly impossible at this point. Finally the tree shaker won as Shaymin fell out of the tree with a small scream before hitting the ground and rolling into a ball for a short distance. Shaymin uncurled and stood up to look at the Garchomp with an obvious annoyment in her eyes. "(Don't you know better than to disturb a Pokemon's napping spot! Can't you be gentler you big idiotic brute!)" Shaymin called out in Pokemon. She did not even notice Cynthia nearby in her outrage.

Iris was cruising about, riding her hydreigon like a boss, when she noticed something tall and amazing breaching her line of sight. The fo' princess turned her head to look in the direction of the curiously familiar creature and her eyes grew wide with shock and joy as a luxuriously beautiful golden mane confirmed her suspicions. She shifted on Hydreigon's back, excitedly guiding the pokemon to turn towards the gathered group.

"Cynthiaaa~!"

Iris called out the taller woman as Hydreigon soared out at a modest pace to meet them, hanging eagerly from Hydreigon's neck as if she were about to dismount her in mid-flight. She did manage to resist the urge to leap from Hydreigon's back, at least until they arrived at the scene. Oblivious to Shaymin's plight, Iris promptly dashed towards Cynthia, her eyes filled with excitement and wonder. "Wooow! It's been a long time since I've gotten a chance to see another powerful trainer and can I hug your garchomp?" Iris blurted out at a rapid pace, just sort of squirming where she stood. She was rather forward about what she wanted, bouncing on her heels as she gazed into Cynthia's eyes with a big ol' smile on her face.

Garchomp kinda stopped mid-berry, as it moves a single eye in the direction of Shaymin as it was busy ranting her out for having shaken a tree to get food. There was some kinda issue with it, that garchomp didn't really care, as she continued her berry chow down. Cynthia took notice to this however, as she smiled. "Oh, Well, Atleast there's something familiar around here. Hello there little shaymin~" She said in her usual mature tone of voice, smiling gently toward the little walkin' talkin' flower bush. Garchomp then looked at cynthia, before shrugging and assuming she knew the girl...guy...it.

Then there came a sound. Distant first, but soon grew louder as the sound of a young girl was coming up upon them. Wasnt this day just making a perfect 180 in mood? "Oh, Hello iris~" Cynthia said, her little smile continuing in its light modesty, before suddenly leaning back from iris coming extremely close with her excitement.

Milotic looked at iris, then at cynthia as cynthia made the motion for her to calm down, to which milotic gladly did.

Lucario looked at garchomp's oran berry pile, before trying to quickly reach out for one without her noticing...

Garchomp could hardly care less about lucario, as the blue pokemon took a few from the pile, eating them or himself. May as well.

"U-uhm, Likewise iris." She said, smiling happily as she adjusted to her excited attitude. And then there was that adorable request of her's. "Of course." She said, as garchomp looked at iris, blinking in a way that said she had no idea what she was in for.1d20·1d20

Shaymin was about to give the strange Sharpedo another verbal lashing until she suddenly heard Cynthia. The Gratitude Pokemon's head turned to Cynthia. Shaymin immediately used Telepathy to communicate. "Hi!~ It's nice to meet you... um..." Shaymin began until suddenly her belly rumbled.

She looked to the berries Garchomp had and felt very hungry. The Lucario swiped a few from the abomination, surely she could too. Sky was pretty much cheering her to do it... And asking if he could but sometimes she immediately declined. His idea of coveting someone was breaking their wrist.

Land instead walked over to the Garchomp and stared up at him with adorable eyes. Shaymin stared at she with an extremely cute and wanting look as if she was an adorable kitten. She then moved her gaze to the berries she craved so much while holding the look. She stared at it for a good time to make her get the message. She then turned back to face Garchomp's face with that adorably killer stare as let a small whimper while tilting her head to get her to give her some.

Iris beamed at Cynthia, recoiling a bit in a sheepish manner when she noticed her excitement had put Cynthia off. Never-the-less, she was overjoyed by Cynthia's response. "Thank you, Cynthia!" she replied gratefully. The gratitude pokemon would likely feel the emotion gush from her as if Cynthia had done her some great favor. The smaller of the two human girls made her way over to Garchomp, rushing right past Shaymin, before acknowledging that the pokemon was looking at her by stopping and bowing her head respectfully. "Hello Garchomp! I'm Iris." she introduced, rocking back and forth slightly on her heels. Rather abruptly, she would move in and just sort of affectionately hug Garchomp's belly, making a point to avoid the legs. Most pokemon weren't so fond of having their legs and feet touched. "So cute..!" she remarked in a somewhat quiet tone, glowing with bliss as she was allowed to hug one of her favorite celebrity pokemon. It was like getting to meet Santa! ...Only cuter!

...Meanwhile, Hydreigon just sort of watched the display awkwardly from a distance where Iris had left her. She didn't seem interested in approaching for one reason or another--Perhaps for the best.

Finally, after a moment Iris would release Garchomp. She turned her attention back to Cynthia, having calmed down a bit. "How are you doing, Cynthia? Have you been in the life sphere long..?" Iris asked, curious as to what her fellow champion was up to in these dark, or not so dark depending on who you asked, days.

Garchomp once again stopped during her gorging on berries, as she looked at shaymin trying to give her the puppy dog eyes.

AAhhhh, who can resist that cute lil' flower pot with legs. Garchomp looked away, before sliding a few berries in shaymin's way, then waving her claw with a...while admittedly ugly, still a big happy smile. For a garchomp, at-least. Then, there was suddenly a human coming up to her, Greeting herself as Iris, before coming up and hugging garchomp right across her scaly belly. garchomp gave one or two confused blinks as the frilly-dressed girl hugged her like she was a giant teddy bear instead of a ravenous pokemon with claws instead of hands. But, Cynthia approved, so garchomp allowed in, patting iris's head with her claw.

Meanwhile with cynthia, she began staring at Iris doing this, with a gentle stare. She may seem calm and collected outside, but, inside she was more or less freaking out. (Oh my arceus. Arceus help me?? Oh mY arceus can i adopt you??? Can i jUST ADOPT YOU?!) Cynthia sighed as if a machine was releasing the steam from inside of it, before relaxing more to see such a happier atmosphere take place. "Well, Besides the fact there doesn't seem to be any ice creme shoppe's, I'm doing well...I cant say ive been here for too long however. Its only been a few days since i came to li." She said, before shaking her head away before remembering what happened to...them.

Shaymin gave a happy smile as the Garchomp gave her a few berries to snack on. It would appear the brute had a bit of heart to her after all. Shaymin quickly took an Oran Berry into her mouth and chewed on it contently. She was really enjoying this snack that was given to her by the powerful Garchomp. The content clear on her hedgehog face at being given food with nearly no hassle.

Soon though as Iris hugged Garchomp it was not long before Shaymin shuddered. The hedgehog started to vibrate for a good few seconds from the sheer mass of gratitude, love and appreciation. Her own mixed with Iris's and what felt like Cynthia's was too much for her as she collapsed. A brilliant and beautiful bouquet of flowers then quickly burst into bloom and covered her entire back as if there were always flowers there instead of grass.

It has been a long time since she was near so much gratitude she did not have time to react to it. Shaymin stood up and before turning around, she took another bite of an Oran Berry. She then turned around as Sky mocked her in her inner mind. Shaymin then remembered where she heard the name Cynthia before. "Oh! You're the champion of Sinnoh the humans have! I did not expect to see another group from there! It is a great and..." Shaymin began telepathically until they realized Sinnoh was probably in the same state as her grove. "... Nevermind... So you two know each other?" Shaymin asked as she tilted her head. She knew she saw Iris before but she did not expect her to have insight on the Champion of her home.

Iris beamed up at Garchomp as she was pat, seemingly unintimidated by the monster's terrifying, terrifying design. What are you kidding? Garchomp was cute as all get out! However, now that she'd had her fill she decided to give Garchomp some space. Somehow she suspected that Garchomp wouldn't appreciate an overwhelming amount of affection; either that, or it would wear on Cynthia's patience. Besides! She had to talk to the other champion and find out all about what was going on. Iris meandered over to Cynthia, eyeing Shaymin as she moved, and slid up to sit on the bench next to her, stuffing her hands betwixt her knees and pinching her knees together. It was a technique she'd learned for helping herself sit still. Even still, she managed to kick her legs a little as she sat. Her first course of action was, of course, to introduce herself. Priorities. "My name's Iris, the amazing strong Unovan Pokemon League Champion~!" she introduced, smiling brightly for Shaymin. In the presence of greatness, she was.

"This is usually the part where I challenge you to a battle, but I don't think this is the time or place for that." Iris would go on to remark light-heartedly. Drayden's words echoed, perhaps. "It's kinda hard not to know who Cynthia is, to be honest!" Iris would continue, seeming to ponder the plausibility of someone not knowing one of the de facto most famous trainers ever. She turned her gaze up at Cynthia, smiling brightly. "Oh--um... I lost count of days while I was in the hospital." she would reply, puzzling over this for a moment. "They said I was out for a while, but I'm okay now." she reassured Cynthia.

"The air kinda smells funny here, especially outside the Life Sphere. The nurse said it was called starvia and that it was really bad for you. I'm kind of alone here now, though. Me and my pokemon, anyway." Iris would go on to muse aloud, expressing concern for the others she'd left behind. She didn't worry too often, but losing track of Drayden was one thing she concerned herself with. Would she ever see him again? Did she have to learn how to be a homeowner on her own?

...An idea occurred to her rather abruptly and she snapped to attention. "Oh! We should try making our own ice cream~!" she offered. Genius!

Cynthia looked upon Shaymin as she almost asked about the state of sinnoh. While last Cynthia knew, sinnoh was perfectly fine, despite a few places being...Well, now that she thought about it. There were alot of disappearances. Well, At-least now she knew...It was just too bad she was not there to explain.



"Oh, Well, Champion's tend to speak to one another when they have chances." She said, laughing a little as she answered shaymin's question, following along with iris's explanations. She rubbed the back of her head as iris started to sing of her praises, running her hand through her luxurious blonde locks.

Iris continued with what was quite frankly the best idea cynthia had heard all day. "R-really?!" She asked over-excited, before coughing, recomposing herself. "W-well, i mean...If you would do such a thing, i certainly wouldn't argue." She said happily

Shaymin gave Iris an awkward look when she said she would normally challenge her to a battle... Does that mean she would of attacked her without her having much say in the matter? That sounded pretty rude of a thing to do out of the blue. Shaymin kind of hoped the crazy lady in pink was joking at that remark... but she had the funny feeling that was a completely honest statement.

Iris was apparently in the hospital though... and apparently Cynthia was quite famous for being a champion. Cynthia's answer honestly made a bit more sense to the hedgehog but maybe it was modest. Shaymin gave another vibration though as Iris suggested they could make Ice Cream. Not because Shaymin paticularly favored ice cream over anything, more because her gratitude senses were getting overwhealming.

Shaymin had to admit though, making ice cream sounded fun. Ice cream usually made people very happy so it was a nice thing to create... Though Cynthia seemed a bit more into it than the average person. There was one thing they had to question in Iris's proposal however. "Making ice cream does sound pretty good. I would love to help out... But where would we get the necessary ingredients? Do either of you even know how to make it?" Shaymin questioned. May seem like Shaymin was making things harder... but she doubted either of them considered of those things by the conversation.

Iris looked up at Cynthia curiously as the larger woman freaked out a little. Her eyes said she was just checking on the other to make sure she was okay, but the way she lolled her head suggested she wanted to know more. The unovan champion smiled at Cynthia reassuringly. She, of course, had a sweet tooth of her own. "Sure, we just--um..." she began, only now really considering the logistics of how they could do that. As if on cue, Shaymin questioned her. Iris just sort of gave Shaymin a funny look. She supposed a pokemon couldn't really make ice cream, but this one almost seemed skeptical of her! Did she doubt Iris' mighty senses?

Iris snapped to attention, beaming at Shaymin. "Of course we do! The main ingredients are right in the name~!" Iris replied in a light-hearted manner, sticking a finger up into the air. She may not be a walking library of knowledge, but she was a clever cookie with the taste buds to know she wasn't wrong. But then, those weren't the only ingredients, even if they were the main ones. Iris seemed to begin considering this after she spoke.

...Apparently Iris was good with food! Perhaps Drayden had once helped her make some homemade ice cream once. "We need some ice, some cream--I think milk would do, some sugar, some salt and some flavoring~" she listed off on each of her flavoring, subtly licking her lips at the idea. "Oh right--and two bags~" she would finally add, reciting a recipe from memory. She turned her gaze upon Cynthia and Shaymin, seeking their approval with her eyes. Had she done good? Well, consider cynthia more than happy. She beamed happily at Iris's knowledge of making ice cream, as she clasped her hands together* "I think that's all we need!" She said in a tone that was more than approving, as her hand ruffled up Iris's hair. Lets make us some ice cream! "I believe Harvest Acres would be the place to get the stuff, And Milotic can provide Ice for us..Now we need flavoring." She said, as she seemed to be eyeing shaymin down. Not saying shaymin would make good ice cream, but, Shaymint sounded pretty good. 

" Would you happen to know anything that would work...?" She asked the pokemon curiously.

Garchomp finally finished off her berries, as she looked back to see what was happening with the master. Oh, Food talk!  Garchomp got up, walking over as she tried coming up with a solution...

Shaymin gave Iris a skeptical look as she seemed to now actually be thinking about Shaymin's question. It would appear Shaymin was right to doubt the dragon girl... Shaymin seemed unamused at first when she stated the obvious. Shaymin was a Pokemon and she could of told her that. She was beginning to truly doubt the girl.

... That is until Shaymin's expression turned to one of shock. Shaymin's jaw dropped as Iris actually seemed to know what she was talking about. Shaymin honestly did not expect that of her... There was always room for surprises she guesses. Cynthia then went on about flavoring. She then gave a look at Shaymin that confused her for a moment. What exactly was she thinking with that stare?

"Huh, I am surprised you two made a good plan so quickly... Well, it looks like we are having ice cream then!" Shaymin declared.

Iris returned Cynthia's beaming expression, glowing with pride at her achievement. Suddenly, however, she was under attack by hair ruffles! The smaller girl's eyes widened as her hair was messed with and she promptly squirmed in Cynthia's grasp, wiggling about. "H-Hey~!" Iris would protest light-heartedly, instinctively leaning over and burying her head against Cynthia's side in an effort to protect her precious head. It was a self-defeating gesture of helplessness, but she soon calmed down when Cynthia eased up on her.

Her gaze followed the larger woman's to Shaymin and the thought occurred to her to use a pokemon for flavoring, but she wasn't sure Shaymin had anything to offer an ice cream. Besides, she suspected that Shaymin was here for her own reasons. "Harvest Acres, huh?"
