Shaymin spat a series of Seed Bombs at Zapdos following the blows from Dragonite dizzying the electric bird. This battle was almost over and they could get to that flower. Before they could do that though, Zapdos began to spark wildly as the lights in the room flickered rapidly. Then 4 bolts of lightning struck where Shaymin and Dragonite were standing in rapid succession. These bolts of lightning being fire and some darkness bolt.

(Shaymin and Dragonite! Roll a 14 or higher to dodge twice to dodge both bolts of lightning. They both do 25% damage and the first one inflicts burn while the second deals poison)

Shaymin got singed pretty bad by the first of the deadly blasts of thunder. However, he successfully evaded the second though just barely. However the sparking on Zapdos grew even more fierce as it went on. Then the electric bird cried out in a very distorted caw. A wave of light shone through the room as a flash of lightning whipped around the room and threatened to electrocute everyone.

(Everyone! Zapdos is using his desperation Discharge! Roll a 14 or higher to evade the attack but getting hit deals 60% damage with a guarenteed Paralysis)

Fortunately Shaymin managed to get out of the way despite his serious burns. "Okay, he is weakened! We should finish him off with all our strength before he can do that again!" Sky suggested.

The mighty dragon pokemon managed to move out of the way of one of the lightning strikes, but was sadly unable to predict the second one. It impacted his shield, sending a ripple through the shield as it absorbed some of the impact for him. Clearly he had picked the right time to raise his barrier, as Zapdos appeared to be pulling out all the stops. Lightning raced across the room and Dragonite immediately raised his shield, knowing it could take the attack. Iris, however, did not have that option.

A resounding cry echoed off the walls as Iris was electrocuted, collapsing in a heap. Thankfully, she'd had a strong barrier to help protect her. Yet, even then one had to muse silently to themselves that these sorts of things ouhgt not to happen to the poor children. Dragonite seemed to agree, judging by the dragon's reaction. Dragonite leapt into the air and lunged towards Zapdos, attempting to strike the legendary pokemon

Dragonite then followed up with a second strike, intending to get a free hit in on Zapdos while the pokemon was immobilized!

And then finally he pulled back, taking a deep breath. His mouth glew with an awesome power... A mighty draw of breath followed an immense beam of power, hyper beam ripping through the air to plow straight through the frozen zapdos, shattering the ice as well as his body--most likely.

Zapdos was hit full force by the Ice Punch and froze solid. The electric bird was left vulnerable until the Hyper Beam pierced the Ice and left a huge hole in the fake bird. The Zapdos staticed before flashing outward. In it's place was the garbage monster that was MissingNo. The glitch phased around until it phased out of existence. In the next moment the whole place went back to normal and a card fell to the floor. Shaymin looked at the final SD Card before looking up at the flower.

With his Psychic Power, Shaymin flipped up the glass and retrieved the Thunderhead. He winced as if in pain as he turned around with the flower in his mouth. It looked like the flower zapped him for some reason. He shook his head and walked back to Iris with the electric flower of storms. There almost seemed like a sense of life and power in this plant but that is up for investigation later. "Thanks, Iris, Dragonite. We got rid of that monster and the place looks like it is going back to normal... We should still probably destroy it though now that we have the data," Shaymin suggested.
