Viridi was confused for a moment when Arle suddenly brought up a spell she apparently was not sure the origin of. She was not entirely sure what exactly Arle expected her to be able to help with information on her special magic. The only kind of connection she could make to Arle assuming she knew more was the fact it made flowers grow. She was not sure why she would really know more other than that. The humans in her world usually were not even capable of things like magic.

"... Depends on what you would need light on. I do not really have much more way to know than you do. Humans in my world are not really magical at all. I suppose I might be able to figure something out if you are more specific... But if you are looking for origins, I can't really help," Viridi admitted.

[Mari]

"Oh!" Arle blurted out awkwardly, running a hand through her hand. "I... I see. Y'know I don't remember learning magic either, but I thought maybe... Because it's nature magic." she would explain sheepishly. "But that's alright. I didn't realize different worlds had different gods, but I guess that makes sense..." Arle would go on. Did that mean there might be an equivalent to X in her world? ...It was a troubling idea, but another idea distracted Arle from this somewhat concerning train of thought. She looked to their empty food dish for a moment before turning her gaze back upon Viridi.


"I see we haven't left yet, even though we're finished~" Arle would remark, fondly beaming at Viridi. Her tone suggested that she wasn't complaining. She couldn't say exactly what this meant. It could just mean that Viridi had nothing better to do, but more importantly... It meant Viridi enjoyed her company. It was a pleasant realization, one that was reflected in her eyes.

Well, it would seem Arle was going off by assumptions after all. She did not really know very much about her world at all. She guessed it was a reasonable assumption for someone not as versed in the multiverse as she was... And pretty much every other one of her world's group.

Then the Goddess stopped thinking of that as Arle mentioned the food. She kind of forgot all about the food statement she made earlier. She was kind of ignoring the food on purpose after a while to stall for time. She must of forgot about it all together in the mass of politics... Which was an odd discussion to have while eating she realizes... Then again, that is usually an odd choice of topic best left alone. Though they were in agreement so it ended fairly well.

"Oh? So we are. I must of lost track. I could of swore there was a lot more a few minutes ago," Viridi said in false shock.

"Well, I guess that means you should go set up that base. I mean, putting it off could be pretty risky. The infected are kind of really unpredictable... Well, for hive minds. You may go and head off to the jungle. I can brief you on the way," she stated in a way that sounded deliberately not like an order.

Unfazed by Viridi's response, Arle continued to smile. If Viridi hadn't enjoyed her company, she would have been paying more attention to the time. Regardless, good bellyfeels aside she was sensing a mission on the horizon. As much as she didn't mind taking a risk to spend time with Viridi, she was also to show Viridi her dedication and prove herself. She was, after all, a girl of action! "I guess you're right! I'd like that." Arle replied, seemingly to the offer of being briefed on the way there. She got up and brushed her skirt off before moving to take off.

"It's about time I got to show you what I can do for the Forces of Nature!"
