Rosalyn listened to Kelsey and Jill, who both said that Shizuka made them uncomfortable...Or that she was mean, Rosalyn sighed and talked. "Yeah...Shizuka-chan often make's people uncomfortable...But she's really a great friend to be with." Rosalyn said as she looked out the window and talked...

"It's just that...She's been through a lot...I don't think you two would understand If I told you, but I met Shizuka at the first day of her school, me...And my family had just moved to her city from my old town, Suburbia and was assigned to her class, however she refused to speak to anyone and seemed anti-social...However during lunch, I accidentally bumped into her...And well.

Rosalyn said...As the door to the living room opened...It was Shizuka, having arrived back to the bathroom, Pippi and Sunny were standing behind her, Rosalyn stood up happily at her three friends. "Oh your back...How was your bathroom break Shizuka?" She said as Shizuka simply said. "Fine...So, what's going to happen now?" She said as Rosalyn explained her plans about the Life Sphere.

"Were heading to the Life Sphere, however there are some things we need to do before we head there." Rosalyn said as Shizuka looked surprised. "Oh? Your going back to the Life Sphere?" Shizuka said as Rosalyn got curious. "Yeah, why?" Rosalyn said as Shizuka shook her head. "It's...Nothing...But what do you need to do?" Shizuka said as Rosalyn looked at the donut near Kelsey and grabbed It.

"First off, were going to use my food converter on this donut so Kelsey could get something proper to eat...I also need a little pinch of this." Rosalyn said as she walked towards Kelsey and took a hair string from her hair before walking out of the living room. "Everyone follow me." She said as she left the living room...And headed upstairs to what look's like a couples bedroom.

"This was my Mother and Step-fathers old bedroom, I just used It to store useless junk when I first came here...Like the food converter." Rosalyn said as she walked towards the food converter at one side of the bed.

It was a fairly large machine with controls at the side, Rosalyn pressed a red button at the front of the machine, opening a cube container which she placed the donut In. "This machine helps convert food to a different kind of way for someone different to eat It from." Rosalyn said as she closed the container and pressed the red button again, watching It close as she sat on her parents old bed where a small line of controls can be seen.

Rosalyn pressed a few buttons and soon a tube appeared from the machine which she placed the hair string on before putting It back onto the machine. "This should do It, the donut will convert to a solar donut Kelsey, allowing you to eat or absorb It into your body." Rosalyn said as the machine glowed before quickly stopping as the cube container came out of the machine again.

Rosalyn walked towards the container and opened It, something glowing was coming inside of It now. "Uhh, Pippi, mind picking this up?" Rosalyn said to Pippi who quickly said. "Gladly Rosalyn." He said as he walked towards the container and picked up the object coming from It...A solar donut, which he offered to Kelsey.

"Want It?"

"Solar energy Is the best kind of food source for plants and robots like you."

"So...Was that part of your plan to get to the Life Sphere?" Shizuka said as Rosalyn shook her head. "No...It's In my bedroom, follow me again everyone." Rosalyn said to the group as she left the bedroom...To go to her old one, which like most rooms In this house, was a mess...However the fridge that was mentioned earlier was In the centre of the room, however wires were coming down off of It, and something blue was glowing from the inside, beside the fridge was a giant wooden spoon.

"Let me guess, you made the spoon bigger?" Shizuka said as Rosalyn nodded.

"Yep, I needed a somewhat bigger spoon to stir what's In the fridge."

Jill listened silently to Rosalyn's defense of Shizuka, grunting in a wordless response as she leaned against the Drill Dozer. This girl turned out to be nicer than she first thought, but still... Maybe she was right, maybe she wasn't. Jill didn't want to take someone's personality from someone else's words, I mean, even the mean ol' policewoman had turned out to be nice, but that was for Jill to decide.

She followed them to the "food converter" silently marveling as she imagined what her Red Dozers would improve it with, "So, Kesley," She asked, "Does this work on you?" Regardless whether it worked or not, she gave the machine one more wistful look before continuing on.

She reeled back as she spotted the fridge, really unwilling to see what was glowing so weirdly, "Man, what'd you put in that thing!?" She grumbled, following as close as possible.

Kelsey's eyes widened as Rosalyn plucked a string of synthetic hair from her head. "H-Hey... That doesn't grow back, you know?" Kelsey would add in an anxious manner. She had no idea why anyone would want to sample her long, luxurious hair, but she knew she didn't want to lose it. Kelsey accepted the incomprehensible solar donut, gazing upon it's eldritch, celestial majesty. She wasn't entirely sure what she was looking at, but alright. Rosalyn seemed to want her to eat it. "...Sure, why not." Kelsey replied, accepting the heavenly donut from Pippi and eating it. She had chosen not to comment on Rosalyn's story, figuring it best not to speak of things she did not understand. She also didn't comment on the fridge, though her gaze wandered to it. She did have to wonder what was inside, though she seemed like she was too much of a quiet girl to ask. The others seemed like they were moving along just fine without her input anyway, and it seemed like she'd find out if she just kept waiting.

Rosalyn looked at the anxious Kelsey and explained why she took the hairstring from her, which will not grow back since she Is...You know, a robot. "Sorry, but I'm sure the rest of your hair will cover that tiny string I took from you...But I needed It to make that solar donut...Which I kind of find funny." Rosalyn said...As Shizuka could be heard with a tiny snicker. (If someone heard her that Is.)

Jill wanted to know what was In the fridge, so Rosalyn happily told the girl. "Oh, simple." She said as she opened the fridge, inside It was a giant seed with water covering the lower half, If one were to look closely there would be bits of yellow glow In the water. "I needed the fridge to keep this seed from getting ruined, seed's this big would usually need a lot more water then usual plants and since I didn't have a giant plant pot with me, I used my fridge from what used to be my kitchen." Rosalyn said as she grabbed the spoon and stirred the water.

Sunny came towards Rosalyn for some help. "I still got some more solar orbs Rosalyn If you need some." She said as Rosalyn spoke back. "Oh, don't worry Sunny, we don't need anymore, at this rate the seed...Which contains a giant sunflower, will grow and will help us get off the canyon and to the Life Sphere...In under an hour." Rosalyn said looking back at the group as she closed the fridge and put the spoon away. "So...What are we going to do until then?" Shizuka said as Rosalyn started to look for something, before stopping and looking back at the group once more.

She was now holding a remote control and a small hook.

"What's that?" Shizuka said In curiously as Rosalyn explained there next objective. "Before meeting me down where the horde were...Did you encounter something?" Rosalyn said as Shizuka replied. "Well...Yeah, some thing with eyes and tentacles all around him...But why him, did you see him before?" Shizuka said as Rosalyn happily nodded. "Indeed...And were going to encounter him again because we need to apply this hook on him." Rosalyn said showing the hook to the group In it's full glory.

"Wait...Why? Shouldn't we just wait, I mean, what's so important about him?" Shizuka said sounding shocked that her old friend want's them to recounter the monster from earlier as Rosalyn remained silent...

"It's hard to explain, but please trust me on this you guys...Girls." Rosalyn said as she looked at Pippi and Sunny. "Pippi, Sunny, your looking after the fort again until we get back, hopefully this outing back down to the canyon will be our last before we make It to the Life Sphere." Rosalyn said to her two plant friends who happily replied. "Right Rosalyn." Pippi said happily along with Sunny. "Dont worry, we'll make sure this temporarily settlement wont spring into total anarchy when you get back." Sunny said as the two plants quickly left the room to check on the others as Rosalyn left the room soon after.

"I'll come with you Rosalyn, I just don't want to see you get hurt down there, especially with a horde like that." Shizuka said following Rosalyn as the group made It outside the house and started to head back down to the canyon.

Jill's mouth dropped at the giant seed, jeez, what did this girl do with all these plants!? More importantly, how was this thing going to help them in getting out of here, what, was it going to fly!?

She startled at the fact they were going to need to catch the abomination, "Why!?" She broke her mostly silent words, "What the heck is that thing going to do, except cry some more acid!?"

Still, she sighed and relented, "Ok, let's just get this over with, I just want to go...back to the Life Sphere." She clamped up afterward, realizing she nearly said "home" and following the others out, wishing every little thing didn't remind her she was no where near home, and would likely she wouldn't ever get back.

Regardless of what she wanted to do, protocol dictated it was extremely illegal to let these humans put themselves in danger without at least trying to protect them. Plus, Rosalyn had asked. "I guess we'll just have to find out." Kelsey added, seemingly in reply to Jill. "I wasn't going to be convinced to stay behind anyway~ Let's see if I can't find and restrain that thing again." the reploid would go on to remark in a somewhat light-hearted tone. "...Also, do you know what that thing is? Because I don't know what that thing is and it creeps me out."

As Rosalyn and Shizuka started there descent back to the two cave's of the canyon, Kelsey and Jill wanted to ask questions related to the monster they saw, although Shizuka decided to keep quiet on the matter, she looked towards Rosalyn and gave her some support. "You don't have to answer them...If you want to." She said to her friend who sighed In response. "No, they need answers." Rosalyn said as Jill asked why they were going back to the monster instead of waiting for the Mega Sunflower to hatch and get the group out of the canyon and back to the Life Sphere.

"I just...Dont want to see him at the mercy of that horde." Rosalyn lied as Kelsey thought about restraining him again, which made Rosalyn quickly interrupt her. "Please don't, he's probably scared and hurt as It Is, I don't think holding him down while placing the Magmahook will help matters." Rosalyn said to Kelsey as she quickly spoke again. "Oh, that's what the hook's called...I suggest we just sneak up on him and place the hook somewhere on his body before he even notices our presence." Rosalyn said as Shizuka nodded In agreement...Even though Rosalyn said she would answer all the questions Jill and Kelsey were going to ask her, she ignored Kelsey's last question on what exactly the monster Is...

"Were here...Back at the two caves." Rosalyn said as she looked at the first one where the horde were In, growling can be heard from It. "Dont worry, were not going back In there, were going through the other one." Rosalyn said as she looked at the second cave, which was so dark It was impossible to see without a light source, as soon as Rosalyn found out this fact she opened her bag. "Let's see...We need light so...This headlamp will do!" Rosalyn said as she took out the small headlamp and placed It on her forehead. "My Mother used to wear this at her job working In a clothe's factory." Rosalyn said as she switched on the light and started to walk into the cave, with Shizuka just behind her.

"Oh yeah...How Is Shelia?" Shizuka said in curiosity...The mentioned Shelia possibly being Rosalyn's mother. "Oh, she and my step family were getting on fine befo---Wait!" Rosalyn quickly stopped and heard something...A whimper was heard nearby. "I think were close to him." She said looking back at the group as she followed the source of the whimper, quickly finding herself In a large yet wet area where the Monster from earlier was seen In the centre of the area...Whimpering, there Is now a light source in the centre leading up to the sky.

Upon seeing Him, Rosalyn hid behind a couple of large rocks nearby before he could see her. "Quick over here!" Rosalyn said as the Monster slowly turned towards the group as Rosalyn's eyes widened.

"Uh oh..."

Kelsey moved to join Shizuka, watching the two human girls rather blankly. Judging by the lack of recognition on her face, she couldn't hear them. Apparently the reploid had turned off her hearing in anticipation of the scream, almost as if she also knew it was going to scream. Almost as if it had done this before. Huh. Either way, Kelsey was not helpful for conversation right now. The reploid had figured Rosalyn would be taking care of all of this, seeing as the other hadn't deigned to explain what exactly they were supposed to do.

Hopefully her hearing wouldn't be required for her to react to any threats.

After screaming the monster soon noticed Kelsey as well and focused on her and Shizuka rather then Rosalyn for some reason, meanwhile for Rosalyn herself, she saw the monster and then looked at Kelsey and Shizuka, after a brief moment, she left the two to go somewhere further In the area. "Rosalyn...Wait, come back!" Shizuka said...Sounding worried about her friends safety, Rosalyn proceeded to ignore Shizuka and kept on running, before Shizuka herself could follow her, the monster landed In front of her and tried to punch her Into a nearby wall.

"Wait...How can you even punch me with an appearance like that?"

After punching Shizuka The Monster turned towards Kelsey and flew after her, trying to punch her also...Kelsey could attack, but what If Rosalyn come's back and see's that she's attacking the monster...I guess It's up to her to decide what to do until Shizuka quickly recovers.

Kelsey shifted to move out of the way, but to her misfortune was unable to dodge the punch. The reploid scowled in annoyance but merely stared down the monster in response. She was silently cursing Rosalyn in the back of her head for recklessly putting her in this position, however. Damnable humans and their inexperience with robots. It was enough to make Kelsey resent her identity for a moment, but the law was quite clear about what she had to do in this situation.

Shizuka looked up at The Monster, unsure at what to do as It also managed to punch Kelsey. "I...Dont know, what we ca---I'M BACK!" The sudden voice of Rosalyn said as she ran towards the monster with the hook In hand, once she was close enough she threw the hook Into It's back and watched as It became stuck, It glowed a shade of red as the monster shrieked In pain, she ran over to It. "Please don't hurt them, It's not there fault, you can go now!" She said as The Monster quickly climbed to the nearest wall and tried to get away from the three.

And It would, had It not fall and hit a wall, after that he ran Into the darkness of the caves.

Soon after the short battle Rosalyn ran towards Kelsey and Shizuka to check on them. "Sorry that I ran off from you guys, I needed good distance If I wanted the Magnahook to get lodged Into his back." She said to the two before speaking again. "Are you two ok?" She said wondering as Shizuka rubbed her back. "I'm Fine...Been through worse, I'm just glad your okay Rosalyn." She said to her friend...However before anyone could say anything else, the wall that The Monster had hit earlier began to break open.

"Huh?" Shizuka and Rosalyn said as they watched the wall fell forward, the two gasped as what was at the otherside...Was The Starvia horde from earlier, which was now coming towards the three. "Crap...There's too many!" Shizuka said as she looked towards Rosalyn, she slowly backed away from the horde before seeing the path to the exit.

"Were taking the exit, and we also need to get back to my old house before the horde can, let's go!" Rosalyn said as she ran to the path out of the cave, with Shizuka following behind.

"Well, now that horde has a way to get to the house now, our only means of escaping them now Is for The Mega Sunflower to finally hatch and get us and everyone out of the canyon...It should be almost an hour now."

Kelsey, seeing that Rosalyn was attempting to talk to her, promptly turned her hearing back on. Before she could give Rosalyn a piece of her mind, however, they were forced to retreat. "...Alright but for future reference, you should know that I can't disobey you, even if it endangers my life." Kelsey warned. Judging by her tone, she seemed to be advising the girls to be careful about what they told her to do. Having to stand there and take abuse from that monster had been pretty uncomfortable for her.

When the girls made It out of the cave, Kelsey said to Rosalyn that she cant ever disobey people giving orders, even If It kills her, although Shizuka looked concerned for Kelsey and her safety, so she turned towards Rosalyn to question her. "Yeah, but please don't order us around again, I don't think we'll survive that thing If we encounter It again." She said to Rosalyn as she took off her headlamp and placed It back In her brown bag, she looked towards Kelsey and Shizuka to apologize.

"Sorry about that, I just don't want him hurt and I tend to try and take over the leadership role If thing's get too intense, which It still Is." Rosalyn said as she turned towards the cave, the growling from the starvia getting louder as she took out a cherry bomb from her brown bag. "Hey Rosalyn are we going to be used now!?" One of them said as Rosalyn nodded, causing the two to cheer. "YEY, WERE GOING TO DIE!" They both said as she placed the cherry's by the cave entrance and pulled off the two leafs on there heads.

Upon doing so, Kelsey wanted to know If her prediction for the next plan was correct. "Yes, now run!" Rosalyn said as the cherry's held In there breath as a little fire started above them. Rosalyn quickly started to run up the path back to her house with Shizuka quickly following, she was curious as to what she had done. "So...What di---A loud explosion was heard just near the group, causing Shizuka and Rosalyn to almost fall over, Rosalyn turned towards the source of the explosion.

"That bomb I just planted should delay the horde from reaching us, however they'll eventually get through the now newly fallen rocks." Rosalyn said to the two as she continued running up to the house, Shizuka continued to follow until they eventually reached the house, the mushrooms looked surprised to see the group again.

"Hey Rosalyn, did yo---Yes, now get ready, were going to leave soon." She said to the mushroom as she and Shizuka entered the house, the two looked at each other with the second mushroom soon speaking. "You heard her, get ready to move out!" He said as the two mushrooms slowly came out of the pots they were In.

Soon after entering, Rosalyn called out to all the plants In the area, including Pippi and Sunny.

"ATTENTION EVERYONE IN THIS ROOM, A HORDE OF INFECTED ARE ADVANCING TOWARDS THIS HOUSE, FORTUNATELY ME AND MY FRIENDS HERE ARE PREPARING A PLANT THAT CAN GET US OFF THIS CANYON BEFORE THEY COME HERE, SO GRAB ANYTHING YOU CAN AND GET READY TO MOVE!"

As soon as Rosalyn finished, all the plants started to move around the room, grabbing things that are valuable to them, Pippi walked towards the group to tell them how the house was since they went back down to the canyon. "House was secure until you came back Rosalyn." He said politely as Rosalyn patted Pippi on the head, causing him to blush. "Good job Pippi, now get ready." She said as Pippi nodded and went further Into the halls of the crowded house, Rosalyn turned towards Shizuka and Kelsey. "Ok you two, follow me so we can hatch The Mega Sunflower." She said as she walked upstairs to her room where the fridge with The Mega Sunflower inside Is.

Rosalyn grabbed the giant spoon from before and opened the fridge, before stirring inside It. "Yep, It's just about ready to hatch." Rosalyn said as she threw the spoon into the corner of the room and tried to move the fridge out of her room and outside, but she was struggling to. "Shizuka, Kelsey, a little help?" She said as Shizuka walked towards her and tried to help Rosalyn push the fridge outside.

Kelsey became immensely uncomfortable when the ... plant things cheered for their own death. This place was mad and she wanted out, like now. Unfortunately, she would have to wait for a bit. Hopefully nothing else insulted her sanity while she was here, lest she suffers any long lasting malfunction. Kelsey ran off on command and began following the girls, continuing to stay close to them until they got to the fridge. She moved to help lift the fridge so that they could actually move it, assisting the girls with her understandably respectable strength.

With the almighty strength of Kelsey, the group managed to start moving the fridge out of the house, when Kelsey asked what the Mega Sunflower will do anyway, Rosalyn just looked at her and said. "You'll see." Before continuing to move the fridge outside, passing a few plants In the process. "Coming through, fridge with Mega Sunflower coming past!" Rosalyn said to warn the plants who jumped or moved out of the way before looking at the fridge intriguingly.

After moving the fridge out of the way, Rosalyn and Shizuka pushed the fridge over and watched as the seed rolled out. "Now what?" Shizuka said waiting to see what will happen now. "Wait for It..." Rosalyn said as she watched the seed slowly start to crack open...And soon something came out of It...And grew.




The Sunflower yawned awake before giggling, It noticed the group and looked down. "Wow...I didn't expect It to be this big." Shizuka said...Sounding a little amazed as Rosalyn giggled, The Mega Sunflower began to speak. "Thank you for hatching me, as a reward I will do anything as you say, just say It and I'll do It!" The Sunflower said happily as Rosalyn looked up at It and spoke. "I need you to get us off this canyon, a group of...Well, people who are infected with a virus are coming towards us and I need to get everyone off here before they get here." Rosalyn said as The Sunflower looked happily at them.

"In that case, bring your group up here and we can start moving!" The Sunflower said as Rosalyn looked at Shizuka and Kelsey. "Right, I'm going to pack for the Life Sphere, Kelsey, Shizuka, you make sure every single plant Is on The Sunflower by the time I get back, got It?" She said as Shizuka nodded. "Got It..." She said as Rosalyn ran back Inside the house...Soon dozens of plants started to come out of the house, including Sunny, Pippi and the two Mushrooms from earlier.


The Mega Sunflower started to lift each plant onto his shoulders by groups, eventually only Shizuka and Kelsey were the only ones left on the ground, with Rosalyn still In the now abandoned house...And a little Marigold was standing In front of the three, looking scared.




"I'm too...Scared going up there...I don't know what to do!" He said almost sounding like he's about to burst Into tears, Shizuka tried to reassure the Marigold that things will be ok.

"Ok..." He said as The Mega Sunflower quickly picked him up, he soon looked down again, looking for Rosalyn. "Where did that lady go?" He said as Shizuka looked around. "Rosalyn, we need to leave soon..." She said as she quickly turned to hear the sound of growling before her...The Infected were starting to head up to the house, Rosalyn needed to hurry and get out of the house soon.
