“Well it's not a fully grown plan, I only just planted it...” Daisy started, gesturing to her noggin “But y'know how greenhouses gotta stay air tight during the winter to prevent the plants freezing?”She continued with an enthusiastic shrug
“Now just hear me out; What if we air-proofed the castle to prevent the Starvia from getting in?” gesturing to the windows and the grand door. 

""But Daisy!" you're probably about to ask, "How will We breathe if the castle is air tight?"" She argued, hands to her neck for emphasis and even doing a subtle vocal impression of Peach "My answers to that, my fair Peachy, are Plants.” she concluded, gesturing at the Petey Piranha statue that first put the idea into her head. 
“If we plant a bunch of Orchids, Ferns, Pothos, and an Anthurium here and there for color, She started again, strolling around the room picking out spots and visualizing possible floral arrangements  "Not only will they brighten up the decor, but they're also ideal for providing us with the oxygen we'll need to survive!” She finished, pounding a fist into her other open hand.

“Not only can we make this castle a fortress of safety, we can do it in Style too!” She commented on her own proposal, taking Peach by the hand she was handed and twirling her around.
“Your castle is huge, so ventilation will be a question easily answered, and that awesome waterfall will provide the water, the variable we'd still need to solve would be the matter of Sunlight...” she pondered, looking up at the foyer's fancy ceiling with a pouting hand to her chin.

Peach listened intently to Daisy's plan, polite as ever as the other explained her plan. Peach seemed a tad skeptical, but only because she knew a few things Daisy... did not.Only when she was spun did she smile, unableto resist Daisy's charm~ "That's... a great plan." Peach would begin gently, leaning in and wrapping her arm around Daisy's waist. She would bend Daisy back, holding the other in a steep dip. "But..." she would continue, winking at Daisy knowingly before helping Daisy back up right and returning the favor by guiding her into a twirl. "You are a wonderful dance partner, Daisy~!" Peach would remark light-heartedly, giggling at their antics.

"But, the thing is... The starvia can travel through water, and it also sometimes brings big infected baddies to fight." she explained sotly. "We would need something more sophisticated to properly protect the castle, but maybe... Princess Rosalina can help with that." the princess would go on to suggest. "What's important is that you've just given me a great idea. We may not be able to ensure the castle is safe, but we can bring life back to it~" Peach finished. Plants were immensely important if they wanted to have food, among other things. Daisy's gardening skills might not be useful in the way she'd intended, but they were far from useless.

The already pumped with inspiration Daisy felt a extra rush of excitement when Peach bent her over. It was awful forward for a lady to take the lead like that. A sultry smirk sprouted up on her face and it grew into a playful grin as she was then twirled around.

Hearing that the starvia can travel through water dampered her enthusiasm, but didn't break her smile yet. Perhaps installing a filter could fix that?...

But the grin was knocked from of her face when the mention of Rosalina snapped her out of the moment.

“Rosalina? Is she still here too?” She asked looking to all corners of the room, having sworn they were alone last time she checked. With the moment swiftly ended, she released a sigh in whats she hoped sounded like satisfaction, as she followed up by saying
“We''ll I'm just glad I got your spirits back up again. There's that smile everybody loves to see!~” winking at the look on Peach's face now that she mentioned Rosalina. “Bringing life back to the castle was what I had in mind... But I'm sure whatever you came up with will be twice as tall and twice as fruitful!" she said, ever encouragingly. 

“...So what's your new idea?” Daisy asked curious to hear what Peach conjured up under her blond couture and crown. “...and how can Rosalina help?”

While Peach and Daisy talked upstairs, Rosalina was in the basement working on some large contraption that took up the middle of the room just at the bottom of the staircase leading into the basement. She was in a cyan mechanic suit and tinkering with the machine to try and get it together right. The machine had a pedestal on the floor of the room and a similar piece on to the top. She was trying to create a similar power source as the one in her Comet Observatory since she found the castle had similar levels of star power and considering the lower need of functions for this castle, power should never be much of a problem.

Rosalina stood up as she looked over the machine. She was missing a few vital parts she needed to make this fully functional... Perhaps she still had some spares in the storage space of the Comet Observatory. Rosalina went back upstairs, still in her oil stained mechanic outfit. She then noticed Peach talking to someone upstairs. It would appear they were talking about the safety of the castle. It was then that Daisy asked how Rosalina was going to help that she walked in on the two and gave a swing of her wand as a bright glow brought back her clean bright blue dress and accessories.

"Greetings, Special One and Princess Daisy," Rosalina introduced with a bow. "I am nearing completion of the present I was making, Peach. I should be able to make a forcefield that will keep out the Infected and Starvia. Your castle seems to still have plenty of star power to activate it. I just need a few more parts that I can probably get from the Observatory. Then I can get to construction repairs," Rosalina explained.

Peach beamed at Daisy, ever pleased to have the other's company. As if on cue, however, Rosalina arrived to answer Daisy's questions for her--and it was a good thing too. Peach's understanding of technology began and ended with its function. Forcefields and...controls...and...circuits... Just the thought made her feel dumb. Princess Peach would turn to Rosalina, performing a curtsey in turn. "You don't have bow if you don't want to, Princess Rosalina~" Peach replied light-heartedly. She would beam at the other. "That's good to hear. I was worried my power stars might have been stolen." Peach went on to muse aloud. Those things could represent a huge problem in the wrong hands...

"Thank you again, for everything..." she would go on to remark, her tone becoming very soft in acknowledgment of something unsaid. Finally, the princess would return her attention to Daisy. "Speaking of fruit~" she would begin, sporting a knowing smirk. "Food can be difficult to come by around Li, so I was thinking maybe you and I could start a garden together." she would begin in offering. It seemed to be much more Daisy's area of expertise. "We can decorate he castle and contract toads, and when our gardens get big enough we won't have to rely upon trade to feed ourselves." Peach explained rather eagerly. Peach herself seemed eager, a fan of gardening in her own right.

If the princess found Rosalina's loving nickname awkward, she did not show it. The princess was too open about her feelings for that noise.

Princess Daisy gasped as Rosalina entered the room, the tall thin pale figure caught the not as tall but much more curvy princess off guard. She made quite an entrance by cleaning herself up and putting on a gown with just a wave of a wand. "I bet I could do that too if I had a magic wand" she thought to herself.

"D-Did she just call Peach her 'Special One'? I thought she was Mario's 'special one'! What's going on here?" Daisy thought, doing her best not confusion escape onto her face. She immediately shrugged it off and maintained her composure like an experienced princess should.

"Good day Rosalina, fancy meeting you here! It's just great to see you again!" Daisy curtsied formally, as formal as Daisy gets among friends anyway.

'Princess Rosalina?' that also came contrary to what Daisy thought she knew about Rosalina. Before she could comment on it however Rosalina's mention of her gift to Peach stopped Daisy dead in her proverbial tracks.
"What the Fo-Afo-A Force Field?!?" Daisy stammered, her brain forced to shift gears without the clutch. Her jaw would be dangling to the broach on her chest if it she hadn't still been using it.
What? Here Now? How? Wow Gao! that's...That's Incredible!" The words tripped over each other as they fell out of Daisy's mouth.

A force field? How high-tech can you even Get? There was no Way her greenhouse idea could hope compete with... That!
What was Daisy going to do now? What could she do to top that? Did this mean her dream of growing a garden with Peach was nipped in the bud?

"But...but... Daisy started, not knowing which of the three question on her mind to continue the sentence with and ask.

Luckily for her, Peach's sweet knowing voice unknowingly cut her off. And what she said managed was just Daisy needed to hear to pull herself back together.
"...But that'd be incredible too." Daisy sighed in an instance of relief. Hearing this changed everything back in a magic. it's like Peach wielded a magic wand on her lips.
The faded twinkle in her eye sparked up again in hearing Peach embrace the gardening part of her plan, and her smile came back in full force, in full bloom.

"Aw Yes! We could totally grow a fruit and vegetable garden together, just you and me, while Rosalina works on her force choke machine!" Daisy started again, brimming with  enthusiasm.
"We can grow turnips, broccoli, cauliflower, onions, radishes, " she began naming vegetables, switching to fruits indiscriminately.
"Apples, cherries, grapes, Melons~, pears, plums, Peaches~, and even Rose hips!" thrusting a  hip toward Rosalina for sake of pun.
" And think of all the Berries we could grow together, Bunbun!" she gasped in swoon, throwing a Sarassaland term of endearment on the table.
Daisy managed to turn around and get back to the height she was at before Rosalina interrupted. 

That was a close one...

Peach called her with the title princess again as usual. Rosalina figured she should tell Peach that she was not a princess but she was not sure how Peach would react. It's not like it was a very important correction to make anyway. Peach could call her a princess if she wanted to even if she did not consider herself one in any sense of the word.

Rosalina noticed that Daisy seemed to be in a bit of shock from what she brought up... In fact, she seemed really confused for some reason. Rosalina figured it was best if she brought up that issue herself though. "I am surprised they are still here myself... I am not sure how many there are though. I just know there is enough to get it working," Rosalina elaborated. "It is the least I can do, Peach," Rosalina commented modestly.

Peach went on to talk about making a garden which seemed to help Daisy recover at least. She seemed really into the whole gardening thing. She did stumble a little before catching her balance from Daisy's movement to emphasize the name of the plant. Daisy was pretty strong even given Rosalina's significantly slimmer physique.

"I see you are really into gardening, Dasiy. I never learned about that myself. It reminds me of the bees in some of the Galaxies... Maybe you could do some gardening on the terrace of my Comet Observatory sometime. I am sure the lumas would appreciate a bit more life on it," Rosalina offered before looking to Peach. "So, any plans after I get my project working?" Rosalina asked.

Peach beamed at Rosalina and Daisy, pleased with how well they were clearly getting along! "...It can be our little project--Bringing life back to the kingdom." Peach replied stepping in and partaking of the hip bumping by casually bumping Daisy with her hip on Rosalina's behalf. "It'll be a lot of work, and we'll probably have to teach some of the toads how to garden better. Is that alright with you, Daisy?" Peach asked. She already knew in her heart that Daisy was the superior gardener, on account of her magical flower power and boundless energy, but Peach wasn't enough of a slouch to need any training of her own. "Perhaps we can start with Rosalina's Observatory, as she suggested! Our garden will be safe up there, where it can yield many seeds without risk of contamination. Then we can worry about spreading." she mused aloud. Unless they put a forcefield around their gardens, there was always the chance of starvia infected creeps preying upon the defenseless plants. One couldn't guarantee a harvest that way--unless they had some strong guards, anyway.

Peach turned her attention to Rosalina, seeming to ponder the other's question for a moment. "Well... I want to restore the castle's power." Peach mused aloud. The lack of light made the castle look a bit drearier than it needed to be. "...We should go collect whatever power stars are missing! That should give us more power to work with!" Peach would suggest eagerly. She could already imagine the things they could do with a bit more power. "We could make a bigger garden inside the forcefield, and commission magical paintings to help us get around Li a lot quicker!" Peach began to list off, pacing slightly as she continued. "We could light up the stained glass window atop the castle once the forcefield is up, and invite some of the toads back to live here!"

"I guess it's because your food comes down from the stars and not up from mother earth." Daisy quipped jokingly.
A new look of surprised splashed Daisy's face. Was she offering her to go up into space?
"What? Me? On your observatory?" She started to comprehend. "Gardening...in Space?" Like many consecutive things this day, this hit Daisy hard. She was so used to being invited to all the cool things by Peach. Daisy comfortable in her position of being second best only to Peach, but Now there was a third crown-and-gowner threatening her slot. And now Rosalina's pulling the charm on her to? But still, a chance to visit the Comet Observatory... How could she resits? How could anyone?

She could help but feel excited and flattered but also intimidated. Daisy couldn't deny that that was the coolest thing she ever heard, but also the most challenging. She'd never done it before and had no idea how it would even work without all the conveniences on earth she took for granted. Ever since Mario saved her the only place Daisy's been in space was Rainbow Road...But Wait!
This was a chance to out-do Rosalina on her own turf! If the spacewoman can build a force field on Peach's Castle, why couldn't Daisy build a garden on the Comet Observatory? And again Gardening in Space, how do you Not grab that opportunity by the stem and yank?
"Well sure I will! I'll do it! I'll deck your observatory out like a big bouquet in the night sky!" Daisy announced in proud agreement.
"Oh you'll see! The moon will pale in comparison with what I'm gonna do to your satellite!" Daisy plotted to herself before being snapped out of it by Peach's hips.

Rosalina listened to Daisy's enthusiasm and Peach's plans for the castle. She could not help but smile a little despite the disappearance of her family of Lumas. She was sure she can find them in time as long as she maintains hope like Peach. Peach's ideas were pretty good and definitely would be a major help. Instant travel was much better to traverse Li given the Starvia. It was all good really... except a few issues.

"I am sorry Daisy, but at the moment the Comet Observatory is not fit for space travel. It is still a safer location for your garden and I would be happy for you to... The problem is..." Rosalina started before turning from Daisy to Peach. "A lot of my Power Stars and Grand Stars went missing when I crashed here. The power on the Comet Observatory is very limited at the moment. I can only afford light speed on occasion and it can only fly in the atmosphere. It does not currently have the power for space travel or to even make it out of the atmosphere. My repairs can only do so much without the fuel source... Which brings us to our next problem..." Rosalina continued as her expression saddened a little. "How would we go about finding the missing Power Stars? They could be anywhere on this planet. It would be a lot of effort to explore every spot in the world, especially when the Starvia interferes. It is an admirable effort to try and make those things come true. But we kind of have to take into account we have no clue where they could be and where to even begin," Rosalina added.

Peach smirked at Daisy knowingly, seeming to be having fun. However, Rosalina did bring up a good question that required her attention. Peach seemed to consider the proposal, pondering the nature of the power stars. Did anyone even know how those worked, besides her of course? Regardless, even Peach knew Rosalina was right. The power stars would be very difficult to find ...unless they had a lead. Now who in the world might be able to shed such knowledge upon them? Peach's mind wandered, exploring the possibilities. She could think of just one group who might be able to help them. They heard the wishes of the people across the world and watched over them all from the heavens. They were...

"...I think I know where to start."

Peach would turn to address Rosalina, shifting slightly to stand before the other. "We have to travel to Star Haven. The Star Spirits might be able to help us find what we're looking for." she explained, gesturing with one hand up into the ceiling. "I just hope they haven't been touched by the starvia..." Peach would go on to muse aloud, a look of concern crossing her features. Surely, in their heavenly haven, the star spirits must have avoided most of the disaster. ...Right? Peach glanced betwixt Daisy and Rosalina. "Are you two up for a journey..?" Peach asked softly She suspected that Rosalina wouldn't be able to dock with Star Haven for one reason or another, which meant they'd need to travel by foot. It was a difficult task, but she did know of a way...

And once again, Daisy's excitement had to be put on hold again. It must have been the third time today at least.
"So that really does make it a satellite?" Daisy deduced, referencing things she said in her own head. "My, how unfortunate... She sighed, successfully repressing the urge to chuckle condescendingly.

"So we're going on a Power Star hunt? Just like Mario did?" Daisy started getting all inspired yet again. "Can this day get any better?" She hadn't been in the castle for long but her heart rate had already speed up with excitement for the 4th time. This is the excitement she missed of this place every day in Sarassaland. Every minute here felt like a new adventure. "I am so in!" Having no idea where to start didn't seem to bother her one bit, since her imagination was already long past the "starting" point, imagining climbing the tallest mountains and diving the deepest oceans with Peach, bouncing off the four corners of the globe, sailing the seven seas, soaring through cloud 9 in the sky... And then Peach said she knew where to start, which snapped her out of her dream with Peach and back into this one.

"Road Trip!" Daisy announced playfully. "On a and perilous journey to find...more Star people?" She shrugged at her own punchline.
Wherever they were going, she was going too. She may have missed the chance to go to the Sprixie Kingdom, but she was Not going to miss this! This would be her first adventure! The dainty Peach and spacey Rosalina have been on adventures before, the fit and flexible Daisy should be able to keep up easily! Since Mario saved her that one time, Daisy's been defending herself and her kingdom all by herself without calling a plumber for years so she's had plenty of practice! This was too perfect an opportunity to prove to Peach once and for all how crazy awesome Daisy is!
"You Know I'm In!" Daisy flaunted, posing with her muscles from earlier once again. "As your plumbers would say, 'Let's-a Go' already!"

Rosalina pondered Peach's idea to find the Power Stars. Well, the Star Spirits did watch over the land and would probably know better than anyone where they are. They don't exactly have points setup to locations where the Power Stars could be hidden. It might of been their safest bet in finding out where the Power Stars are located... Maybe where the Grand Stars and Rosalina's own Power Stars are too... Besides, they could even be in trouble and need their help. It would be bad if the infected got their hands on such a strong power as granting wishes.

It would seem Daisy was also in on this adventure as well. "... Very well, that does sound like a wonderful idea. I am in too. It is probably our best lead. I'll go wake up my Luma and meet you on the way. They might want to see the Star Spirits as well," Rosalina said cheerfully. She ignored the fact they all wouldn't be there because she knows she will find them. Perhaps this could be a step closer to that goal.
