"... Unsanitary is right. This thing can drool when frozen. I am not even sure how it's doing that..." Viridi replied back while scratching her head. If the real was just as disgusting that brought to argument why Arle would have a friend like that... Well, if you look past the disgusting aspect it is kind of cute... Kind of.

"Well, we have no better leads. Might as well see if he did go that way. Come on, Phos, Lux," Viridi agreed with Arle and walking in front of the Chariot to lead them. "So, what is it about Carbuncle that makes you keep him around? He seems a mess to clean after," Viridi questioned.

Rulue would keep going with a vicious assault on the fake Carbuncle, however, before she could do anything on the matter...Arle froze him, effectively putting a stop to that false yellow dastard. ...It still drooled while it was frozen, what the heck?! Rulue recoiled a bit in disgust, but soon shrugged it off.

That being said, the Fighting Queen knew that this spelled more exploration to be had in the caves in the search of Arle's dear companion. However, problem was, where could he be? Anywhere on the cave, that is for sure. She sighed.

"Arle, you lead the way."

She only waited around for Arle's next move. I mean, what else could she probably lend help to at this point?

Arle hesitated a bit when Rulue asked her to lead before it reoccured to her. She was the one with the light magic. She supposed she was feeling a bit better, anyway. "Oh, alright. Light!" Arle called out, slipping out of the lightning chariot so that she could move freely. She didn't know how to control those things anyway. She then began leading the way deeper into the cavern.

"Well, the real thing doesn't drool on me for starters." Arle began to explain in response to Viridi. "And unless he tries to eat something he shouldn't he mostly takes care of himself. His previous owner neglected him a lot." Arle continued, neglecting to mention Satan by name. Even still, it would be obvious to Rulue who she was talking about.

The girls reached the end of the cavern and soon rounded a rather cramped tunnel way that led into a smaller, less natural looking opening. The floor was tiled and smooth, seeming to indicate that they had stumbled The first think they'd notice was a tall figure standing in the center of the room. It seemed to become aware of their presence almost immediately as they entered the room, turning to the trio and beginning to make it's way over to them at a modest speed. The heavy plate armor covering it's entire body was likely the cause of its less than speedy approach.

A Darknut Appears!

Arle took one look at the aggressive way the dark knight was approaching them and got ready for a fight. "Fire!" she shouted, casting a fireball at the knight to try and drive him back.

...The fireball slammed into the darknut with considerable force, but other than rattling it's armor did not appear to even slow it down. This caused Arle to flinch. That was some ugly shenanigans right there. "Wow, real tough guy huh?" she asked, recoiling slightly in anticipation of a counter attack.

Viridi followed Arle with the Lightning Chariot close behind. "Ah yes, the method of 'as long as he does nothing bad I have no reason to watch him' philosophy. Classic. Well, if you think it works, who am I to doubt your judgement," Viridi remarked. Just then came a mighty foe, one with severe looking power. The darknut was always a powerful force to be reckoned with in Hyrule. As much ego as Viridi has, she may as well work together like every other fight here.

"Cragalanche!" Viridi called. However, unlike what happens when she usually called that name, this time a rocks levitated themselves and began to form around her dress. Her normally plant esque outfit shifting as her hairband is replaced with a more transparent and crystal one. Her dress taking on a more grey and brown design with her headband taking a more metal approach. Her flower on her chest formed into a crystal as she took on a magical outfit transformation. "About time I use this technique. Rulue, I will focus him on me, you move around him and try and shed him of that armor," Viridi suggested.

Damaging him would be easier if they plucked off the tough bits. She was not done however as Viridi let out a shout that seemed to shake the place a little. That should get the Darknut's attention long enough to prove a distraction.

"That's right, come and fight me. Let's see how you handle this!" Viridi stated as she held her fist back for a moment and it seemed to glow with a silver light. She then thrust her hand towards the Darknut's torso with earth shattering force. The power of the blow was enough to cause a shockwave it connected with the armor. Maybe it would be powerful enough to leave more than a dent in that armor. However, the force of the earth shattering Boulder Break wore Viridi down as she breathed a bit more heavily after applying that much force into her attack, weakening her.

Rulue glared at the newest threat, and was pretty eager to fight, as evidenced by her quickly jumping into a battle pose. She wasn't aware of how Darknuts were extremely feared by their heavy armory and powerful slashes, and maybe that would be a good thing, considering how she was trying out a new opponent. Hearing horror stories about it would probably give her a sense of urgency.

She turned to face the blonde girl who insisted in working together. Well, the guy seemed tough to crack. It would be wise to do so. Rulue nodded. "Sure. Watch your step, though!" She said as Viridi let out a...roar? Huh, okay...that was new. Without any delay, she went up to the Darknut's back as he was distracted by Viridi, and began her assault.  

"Here you go! Haganshou!"

The darknut seemed to have no problem focusing on Viridi. Pfft, this little girl? She didn't even look like stood around waiting for heroes for hours on end! To his surprise however, Viridi actually used a very powerful attack on him. The boulder cracked against the darknut's armor with an enormous thud and..! ...It wasn't very effective. The darknut staggered from the blow, but showed no signs of weakness through its armor--not that one would be able to tell, armor and all. The darknut promptly lunged forward, raising it's blade high into the air and attempting to strike Viridi in retribution for this humiliation!

The darknut then pulled it's blade aside and struck out at Viridi again, performing a followup swing!

It was around this point, however, that the darknut was struck from behind by Rulue. One of the many straps holding it's armor together snapped under the strain of Rulue's blow and the darknut staggered forward, glancing over its shoulder at Rulue as it's shoulder armor dropped off, revealing chain mail underneath. Suddenly aware that it was being surrounded, the darknut abruptly performed a great spin attack to try and ward Rulue off!

The Darknut then moved to shift around Viridi in an attempt to move into a position where it could see both girls at once.

Meanwhile, Arle was a tad stumped. How did she get in on this without distracting the other girls? She flatlined, feeling a little bad about herself, before resigning herself to playing support for her rival. "Diacute!" Arle shouted, bestowing upon Rulue another diacute orb for her use!

Viridi's hand hurt a little as the blow did not even phase the monster. The attack she expected to shatter any armor it came into contact with was more painful than she thought. "That attack is supposed to shatter mountains! What is your armor made from?!" She looked up as she clenched her hand and noticed the Darknut attacking her. She ignored the pain dodged to the side of the attack. Before she knew it, it was trying to strike her again.

The heavy nature of the rocks on her dress was definitely harming her mobility. However, she did manage one more dodge regardless. She doubted she could handle this much pressure for long but Rulue seemed to be effecting it. She jumped back from the next attack when she noticed the warrior was ripping off Link now.

Viridi ducked under the spin and headed back to the Darknut. It looked like it was about to put position out of their favor and she was going to put a stop to that. She reached out and made a grab for the strong enemy. She not only attempted to stop him from turning around, but also hold him with the power of the earth. Of course, she was still weakened from that punch so she was not sure how long it would last.

Rulue smiled as she managed to discover what had happened. That monstrous knight had an incredible resistance on it's front armor. The back, however...it was a very different story. The Fighting Queen's smile did not falter as the Darknut tried to attack her. She entered into a pose of concentration as the foe attacked her with his sword....only for Rulue to halt the blade and reply with a high kick.

Just then, in comes Viridi, grappling the armored guy and blocking any turn-around. Great, he was still susceptible to her. To make matters even better, cue a gift from Arle: a new Diacute charge. Rulue already knew what would she do next. "Ohohoho~! Prepare yourself, knight." She said...

"Te-Tekken Seisai!!" She screamed (and stuttered cause Diacute effect) as she unleashed a pack of pretty powerful punches!

Rulue's kick all but bounced off the knight's armor. While it was slightly more exposed than before, its armor was still heavily dampening blows against it. The knight quickly proceeded to lash out at Rulue in response!

However, right after it's attempt Viridi was able to succesfully grapple the darknut, preventing it from turning to protect its back from Rulue. The knight struggled in Viridi's grasp, attempting to bash the goddess over the skull with the pommel of his blade once and then twice in quick succession in a desperate effort to free himself.

However, this was not enough to free him in time to stop Rulue from striking his back with great strength. More of his heavy armor clattered to the ground, revealing more chainmail and leather armor underneath. It looked like his heavy armor was almost completely gone, with only the torso and lower legs remaining armored. Arle once again acted in support of Rulue, casting Diacute in an effort to aid the maiden in quickly finishing this battle. Perhaps she could leap in once the knight was vulnerable, but for now...

Viridi took the headbutt directly to the head from the armored foe. That really hurt but her mind was not injured at all luckily. Though the power of the Cross would of kept her fairly safe compared to most with the head injury. Regardless, she was not letting go and keeping this guy from moving. She firmly planted her feet in a more defensive position and kept them firm on the ground. She channeled the earth's power to take the blows better. As long as she can keep a hold on him for long enough and tank enough blows, Rulue should finish him in no time.

Rulue successfully dodged the Darknut's counter-attack initiative that fell flat on his face. As Viridi kept the armored knight held up onto her direction, Rulue was free to strike again for maximum damage. Making things even better was yet another Diacute charge granted by Arle. Huh, she was getting kinda generous with the charges this time around. Odd.

With no questions asked, Rulue began emanating a blue aura. Anyone knowledgeable of her would know that she was actually exuding her ki. She brought her hands close to each other as the ki she broughtout gravitated towards them, forming a ball of her energy. Soon enough, the Diacute orb flew inside the ki ball and made it grow more powerful. Rulue prepared to throw it as the Darknut was still struggling against Viridi...

"Po-Power Wave!" Rulue called (and stuttered. Once again, Diacute effect) as she fired a ki beam at the Darknut's back.

The Darknut was unable to wrestle free of Viridi's grip and was soon enveloped by energy striking it from behind, ripping away whatever armor was still strapped to its body. The armor pieces fell to the ground in a clatter, the knight staggering forward into Viridi's arms. Completely vulnerable and unable to move out of the way, Arle saw her chance to finally aid the fight directly. As fun as watching her lovely companions beat up that knight was, sitting on the sidelines was a tad embarrassing for her.

"Incoming~!" Arle shouted, rushing forward and leaping high into the air. The darknut glanced up towards the leaping girl, just sort of doing a double take as she flew through the air towards him, performing a flip before dropping her heel from the air, both of her leftover diacute orbs being absorbed into the powerful attack. Her bracelet glew brightly as she dropped upon the knight.

...And then the impact came. It felt like an actual earthquake as Arle's leg caved in the darknut's helmet. Viridi would be wise to have let go moments before the impact, lest the darknut be suddenly replaced with Arle. The loud crunching of metal was heard as the Darknut simply ...vanished. Arle landed with the aforementioned earth shaking impact, leaving only scattered ... debris and a rather icky looking green fluid staining the floor, as well as Arle's lower body. Arle seemed to notice this after a moment and promptly cried out in distress, promptly beginning to bounce about in a vain effort to get the strange slime off of her. Was that acid?!

"Ew! Eeew, gross!" Arle blurted out in disgust. Nope. No acid. Just appropriately colored not-alien blood.

It seemed the group was free to continue onwards, or at least as soon as they calmed the freaked out mage that is. You'd think Arle would be a little bit more used to this sort of thing by now, considering her past, but nope.

...Say, was someone else screaming?

Suddenly, a familiar yellow creature ran into the room with the girls, flames spewing wildly out of his mouth. It was ... carbuncle! Or at least it appeared to be. Also, once again in case you missed it, his mouth was on fire. The yuru-chara flailed wildly as he ran, heading right towards ...Arle!

Viridi continued holding the Darknut as her partner took off the rest of the armor. Well, it looks like they can now take this guy out with his armor gone. Before she could act however, she looked in Arle's direction as she shouted incoming. What was she planning to-? Oh...

Viridi quickly let go and jumped back as Arle collided with the Darknut... and splattered the creature all over the place in a brutal finish. The quake may of been a mistake but the cave seemed fine for now. Just then however, another Carbuncle appeared. The creature headed for Arle who seemed preoccupied with the grossness of her own attack."You are not used to Fatalities are you?" Viridi questioned before standing in between Arle and the Carbuncle. There was no kind of hint from what she could tell but her head was still ringing a little so she would prefer not to attack first. Standing between the job maker and the flaming mouth though with her rocky armor and stance though seemed a good substitute for now.

Rulue observed as Arle obliterated the Darknut...and it exploded into green blood. She was just as obviously disgusted as Arle was at the visage, but the bare minimum reaction was a single "Eugh..." before hearing Carbuncle scream. Huh, she could only hope it wasn't yet another fake.

The fighting queen seemed slightly alarmed by the fact that Arle's pet was breathing fire and coming straight to her, but there was that blonde girl standing in between her and the yellow thing. She shot a rather odd glance at Arle that could only be properly described as 'Who the heck is this?' mixed in with a rather annoyed expression. She let out a huff as Carbuncle made his way towards Arle. She intended to grab him by the ears, which would probably leave a nasty burn on her face, but it was better than him running on Arle and setting her ablaze.

"Just a little more..."

Arle was a little surprised as Viridi took place in front of her, protecting her from--...Carbuncle? She didn't know what to think of this, having a goddess bodily protect her like that. It was perhaps confusing at first. Was Viridi just a nice goddess, or was there more to it? She supposed Viridi was a lot more ... human than any deity she'd met outside of, well, him. Yet...

"...No, I guess not." Arle replied softly, somewhat troubled by Viridi's question.

She wasn't 'used' to fatalities? How did one become 'used' to killing people? How did one become comfortable with the gore and death? Nevermind could... Should she be used to that? Something about the idea seemed wrong to her. Almost... inhuman. There were some things you should never get used to, and death was one of them. She shook the thought from her mind. "I need a bath..." Arle lamented as her attention focused back in on Carbuncle.

The yuru-chara was successfully grabbed and picked up, sparing both Arle and Viridi from his flames. Thankfully, the projectile fire breath was barely scorching Rulue from her current position. The mage curiously peaked out at Carbuncle from around Viridi, observing his symptoms for a moment. Welp. There was clearly only one answer to this. "Ice Storm!" Arle blurted out, casting a blast of icy magic at yuru-chara's mouth. The blast of magic pushed the flames back into Carbuncle before vanishing inside of him. Carbuncle just sort of flatlined for a moment, a rather bloated expression of discomfort coming over him before a loud belch of smoke escaped his mouth. Arle flinched at the comically gross display, but it seemed to have successfully put his mouth out.

"Ehehe... That's my Carbuncle. What're you doing running off down here?" Arle asked, only to receive a simple "Guu guuu..." in response. Carbuncle wiggled, apparently wanting to be set down.
