Peach just kinda ... deflated when Keldeo appeared, wanting to test them. She seemed utterly disheartened by this development. Was she seriously expected to hurt this little guy? The very idea took the wind out of her sails. "...If we were evil, this would be a really bad idea..." Peach warned in a rather exasperated tone. "Please don't make us fight." she would go on to request rather lamely, unwilling to put her all into this fight. You saw what she did to Virizion, Keldeo. Don't make her hug you too!

Rosalina watched Keldeo as he seemed unfazed by the words of the others... Or, more he was trying really hard to appear that way. He was visibly shaking very slightly for some reason. She wondered what was making him act this way. "Peach is right. We don't want to fight you."

Cobalion still looked stunned by Keldeo's defiance towards him. Terrakion was equally as shocked as the leader was as well. "... So... You don't want to fight?" Keldeo asked, almost sounding grateful... but there was a mixture of sadness in it as well. He seemed really torn on what he was doing right now as he refused to lift his head from the ground. "... I guess I have no choice then... If you don't want to fight back... I guess that will make this easier," Keldeo said. 'More like make it harder... But I have to follow her orders...' Keldeo thought to himself.

"Sorry..." Keldeo said very quietly as he raised his head to the side and his horn glowed blue. He then brought his head swiftly in the other direction. This motion created a slash of water that flew at all four girls to cut them.

Rosalina swiftly jumped over the slash of water and watched Keldeo. He seemed like he was holding back quite a bit with that attack. He seemed really conflicted for some reason. She did not really want to strike back though.

As Rosalina and almost everyone else in the group agreed (Except for Marisa who just wanted the pocket monster to go.) Keldeo seemed to look like he was struggling with something. "Is something wrong Keldeo...You look, stressed." Paula said to the Pocket Monster...However before she could wait for him to answer, he fired an attack on the group, quickly causing Paula to jump to get out of the way.

"Uh oh...Look's like no matter what, were going to fight around here."

Paula managed to jump away from the newly made battlefield, she quickly looked and had an idea...She looked at Keldeo from afar and wondered about something. Marisa being from touhou, avoided that without a problem. Kaledo was seemingly standing against the mercy they were trying to give them..For some reason. There was no visible reason to marisa, as to why Kaledo would be trying to stop them, besides what he said about some kinda "Her." Regardless, marisa landed after having dashed around atop her broom stick, sighing as she wasn't used to just sitting back and letting other's willingly attack her.

She would position herself back between Paula and Keldeo, folding her arms. "No." she stated rather firmly, scolding the water pony for attempting to push her into this fight. Nah. Nope. Keldeo was both relieved and annoyed that he missed his attack completely. He had to get a grip of himself and end this once and for all... But could he really do that? Could he really bring himself to defeat all four of them... He had no choice in the matter. He had to end this issue once and for all. As Keldeo was thinking to himself, he felt his thoughts invaded as a voice came into his mind... What if they could also see into his mind?! "Get out of my head!" Keldeo cried at Paula's intrusion on his senses. "We can't talk this out!" Keldeo continued though he may be confusing everyone else except Paula.

"Keldeo! I command you to stand down! This test is pointless," Cobalion tried again.

"Cobalion... Stay out of this," Keldeo said as he tried hard to hide his remorse. Cobalion stared at Keldeo from behind for a good moment before looking to Terrakion. "Very well. Terrakion, come with me," Cobalion complied before running further in. Terrakion did not seem as eager to comply, "But..." Terrakion turned his head to gaze at Keldeo for a second. He then decided he might as well follow Cobalion.

"Keldeo... Why do you choose to challenge us now? You had plenty of chances before... Why wait until now?" Rosalina asked about his sudden change in behavior.

Keldeo returned to staring at the ground in order to avoid eye contact... "... You still choose not to attack? Don't you get it yet? Unlike Virizion, I am not stopping until one side is down for the count. If you continue to refuse to fight back you will lose. This is not just some test... This is where it ends," Keldeo warned as his mind momentarily flashed back.

"I wonder if I should of helped them with Virizion or Terrakion... But I chose to hide... Was I wrong?" Keldeo talked to himself as he went through the forest.

"Helped them? What has made you want to trust humans?" A mysterious voice talked to Keldeo to which he was made startled and turned around. "Who's there?!" Keldeo asked.

"Just a voice that knows your true feelings... Like your hate for humans," the voice continued. "Then you are crazy. Why would I hate humans?" Keldeo questioned.

"I think we both have the answer to that... You tell me the answer," The voice responded which made Keldeo silent.

"Now stop being a coward and fight!" Keldeo exclaimed as he drew his head to the side again and swung it back to the right to create another slash, however, this time he swung his head back the other way swiftly to create another slash of water that aimed for all of them again... However, due to Peach defending Paula, she was the target for both of them.

As Paula tried to get Keldeo to reply, the Pocket Monster, just randomly screamed at the voice to get out of his head, causing Paula to sigh. "Look's like this will take time." Paula thought to herself as Rosalina tried to ask Keldeo what was wrong with him, the Pocket Monster just stared down and told them that this was not a test...This Is where It ends, and If they don't fight then they will lose this battle and possibly not see the Luma again. "But why, we don't understand Keldeo." She said to the Pocket Monster.

Who refused to back down...And neither will her.

He attacked the group with Peach and Perry taking on the hits meant for Paula, as she decided to send another telepathic message...But after seeing Rosalina get hurt she quickly looked at the two and spoke. "Be careful, he seems to really want to win this fight...I'm trying to talk to him...To hopefully end this battle as peaceful as possible." Paula said to Peach and Perry as she sent another message to Keldeo again, not worried about the attack's he could bring on her...Since she was being shielded by the princess and her umbrella.

"Please relax Keldeo, well make your mind relax, we just want to know why your attacking us...Were trying to help you...You seemed very worried about something, and I'm not stopping sending you these messages unless you tell...Please?"

Marisa avoided the first attack by Kaledo as if it was nothing at all, but had been set right back into the second attack, squeaking as she spun back onto her back, hitting the dirt hard as her hat flew off of her head, landing in a branch. "K-kaledo, you're hurting us!!" Marisa said, in some attempt to  break through the harm that Kaledo was doing. "Please, there's no need to fight, ze!"

Peach would leap above Keldeo's attack, flying towards the final musketer and landing just before him. She was now in Keldeo's face, and had withdrawn a frying pan from somewhere amongst her person. Wow, that hammerspace dress sure was neat! Regardless, Peach had made a point to get right up in Keldeo's face, making it clear how easy it would have been for her to attack him at that moment. ...But, she didn't. The frying pan was left hanging rather limply at her waist and she made no move to raise it against Keldeo.

She had seemingly left herself wide open for an attack. Yet, as Keldeo came in for a second strike she deftly sidestepped it in probably the coolest, most intimidating way possible at such a close range. Minimum effort dodge is go.

If she were lucky, her aggressive dodging might cause Keldeo to hesitate in fear of retaliation. Retaliation that would never come, because she had other plans. "...And then what? Four ladies beat down a pokemon child?" Peach asked incredulously, her tone making it clear that she took a strong moral obligation to the fight. "...Is that how you would have us honor this sacred forest; the same way your elders chose to, by violently attacking children who never wanted to fight? Is that how you want to honor this forest?" Peach would go on to ask, looking down upon Keldeo with disappointment in her eyes. She waited only a moment before continuing. "...You know what you're doing is evil, so why are you doing it?!" Peach would abruptly demand, raising her voice to Keldeo.

"...Anyone can fight when backed into a corner. Real bravery would be standing up to something--someone you know is wrong." Peach would continue after a moment in a softer tone. She could tell something or someone was influencing Keldeo and was now playing to that. Judging by her tone, she was implying that Keldeo was the one taking a cowardice action. "...Hasn't this forest been dishonered enough for one day?"

Keldeo stood his ground as Peach got closer with a frying pan... But to his annoyance she was still not fighting back against him. Keldeo ignored Paula's voice back in his mind. His concentrated willpower ignoring what she had to say. "You say what I am doing is evil? You do not even know what evil is. I am doing what I have to for everyone. I have no choice but to fight and neither do you. If you really think I am the evil one then strike me down already!" Keldeo pleaded. He then performed the same motion as before but this time did it three times.

It would seem this series of attack were at their full strength and speed as Rosalina had no chance of dodging them. She was battered by the first slash before getting hit by the second and stumbling before she was knocked down by the last. Rosalina just laid there after the assualt in exhaustion.

"Do me a favor and fight back already! I don't want you to hold back on me! I want you to strike me with everything you have! I do not want any mercy! You would be doing me a massive favor if you striked me down! Please!" Keldeo almost seemed to beg as he did not give any explanation for the outburst. However, a dark visible aura did appear around Keldeo and caused him to give a yell. "No! I am not using it!" Keldeo yelled to no visible person.

"Aww...Well this Is not working." Paula said as she realised her telepathy was no use for Keldeo as he seemed to ignore her now, Peach and Perry tried to persuade Keldeo to stop what he was doing...But the Pocket Monster quickly panicked and said what he was doing was not evil, Paula ran in front of Peach to try and calm the situation down...As best as possible. "No, she didn't mean that Keldeo, we just want you to stop fighting us so we can help you...Were all worried about you Keldeo, please stop." Paula said to Keldeo...As his response was to blast the group with three powerful attacks.

"Okay, that didn't work either...And neither will our dodging!"

It seem's Rosalina Is taking It head first, but Paula might as well try...Or not, since she was still being protected by Peach and Perry, causing them to get hit instead. "Oh no." Paula said in shock as the group got hit by Keldeo's attack as Paula looked back at the Pocket Monster. "Really Keldeo, no matter what wer---However as Paula wiped the dust off of her from behind Keldeo, she saw a dark aura around the Pocket Monster. "Huh?" Paula said looking surprised as Keldeo seemed to be talking to...Nobody in particular, which gave Paula a theory on why he's acting like this.

Paula quickly voiced her opinion on what just happened to Keldeo to the group as they recovered from his recent wave of attacks.
"I think someone's talking to Keldeo In his mind...Due to the dark aura and him talking to himself there, who do you think's doing this, I never heard anyone when I was talking to Keldeo?" Paula said to the group as she waited for Keldeo to attack again.


"Is there something wrong Keldeo...Or Is It because "It" doesn't want you to say anything."

Marisa braced her broomstick as the Retaliation strike's kaledo were sending out had cut up her body pretty good, clinching her teeth as her body began dropping to the floor now, until the last, and strongest strike was flying at her at full force....

Marisa spun her broomstick up, slamming it down as a magical blast sky rocketed her into the air, avoiding the attack, while not cleanly, still decently enough to avoid damage. Marisa looked at Kaledo, as paula had begun mentioning something of Dark Aura around kaledo, and...Yeah, Marisa could certainly see it. Kaledo's cries were also starting to fidget with Marisa, as she began thinking...

Was this a request for a Mercy Kill?

Marisa was clutching her Hakkero. She didn't want to Do that, and would only do it as a last resort. It would make sense, the dark aura could very well be some dark posession. But if not...

Peach's heals dragged against the ground as she was repeatedly struck by Keldeo's attacks. The attacks hit her hard and brutally, tearing into her and sending her sprawling onto her behind several feet back near Paula. Peach swayed dangerously where she landed as if she were at risk of passing out. Those attacks could have killed her! ...Keldeo was trying to kill her! The realization hit Peach like a truck. Her body tensed and her gaze lowered, her expression twisting into a scowl. Keldeo had done it now. He'd gone too far! Peach was going to explode!

...into tears. The waterworks came swiftly, a torrent of tears pouring past Peach's eyes as she began bawling uncontrollably. O-Oh. Peach was just going to sit there and cry, thanks. ...Except...wait. Hold on. Her tears were lowering in intensity. The waterworks would mostly dissipate for the moment being and Peach would abruptly jump to her feet, her hands balled into fists. "You are... a naughty child!" Peach blurted out, enraged by the sheer intensity of pain she was being put through. It was time for some old-school parenting up in this forest.

Peach ran at Keldeo with alarming and uncanny speed, getting right back in his face at a moment's notice. She would perform a pirouette and sweep her leg low, attempting to take Keldeo off guard with her aggressive dance moves.

Keldeo stared back at the ground at Paula's question if it was because of it. Keldeo definitely seemed to be hiding something now as he refused to speak as Peach, Rosalina and sort of Marisa were battered by his strikes. "... 'It' has nothing to do with this. I am doing this because I have to, not because it wants me to!" Keldeo declared.

He nearly did not notice Peach crying, and probably would not of if it was not for the fountains. He was tempted to ask Peach if she was okay against his better judgement. However that thought was changed as she declared him a naughty child. It would seem he finally got one of them to notice the stakes. He was honestly expecting Marisa to strike first but this was fine.

Keldeo nimbly leapt over the dancing sweep kick that came from Peach. The movement was very predictable for the Sword of Water. He was not as prepared for the Ground Pound as it slammed down onto him. He was however quick to foresee Peach's followup. He swiftly bucked to throw her off while she was preparing to spank him.

Peach was not the only one attacking Keldeo now though as Rosalina was up. Rosalina swiftly jumped at him and flipped to smack Keldeo with the galaxies.

Keldeo was swift but ultimately unprepared. The galaxies themselves shred through him and forced him back. "Finally you see the point of this brawl. Now it's time we begin this struggle for real!" Keldeo exclaimed. Keldeo first raised his horn to the side and did a small slash that was entirely focused on Marisa. Paula was still protected by Peach and Keldeo must of saw that he can not attack her with Retaliate without hitting Peach.

Keldeo then pointed his horn at Peach. Steam emitted from his horn as it would seem his horn was getting super hot. He then focused as he shot a beam of scalding hot water at Peach. It would seem he was attempting to burn her.

Paula watched Keldeo look down...It seem's someone was talking to him...And Marisa looked like she was about to give In and attack Keldeo, preparing to do so as Paula tried to stop her. "Wait Marisa...Maybe were onto something." She said to the Witch...As Peach began to cry, Paula quickly tried to calm the princess down. "Peach, don't worry...It's ok we can handle this...We just need to stay strong ok?" Paula said to the Princess...Who quickly attacked the Pocket Monster, followed by Rosalina, as Peach tried to discipline Keldeo.

"Wait...It might not be his fault he's fighting like this!" Paula said to the two as she tried to decide what to do as Keldeo attacked the group...Looking more relived now that there actually fighting now. "There's got to be a peaceful solution instead of violence...Maybe If...I go deeper into Keldeos mind, I might be able to find out what's wrong...But It might bring trouble to the both of us." Paula thought as she quickly looked at the newly started battle.

"But In this case...I have no choice."

And so, Paula tried to use telepathy In a way she never used It before...reading minds, she only used It to talk to animals or send telepathic messages, but she feared that reading minds could be damaging to her...This was her first time using It actually.

She just hope's this ends well.
