Paula watched as the fireball reflected back towards her, and Virizion soon gave her a disappointed face at the girl, most likely a sign that she has failed the test. "Oh no...I've made a mistake...Maybe I shouldn't of used a fireball...Speaking of which!" Paula thought as she tried to dodge the oncoming fireball Virizion reflected back at her, mainly catch it with her frying pan.

Paula did not catch the fireball on time and was hit in the stomach by the attack. "Grah!" Paula said as she pushed it on her frying pan and waited for it to burn out so she could use It for later, that might help the group win there trust with the Virizion again, but for now Paula watched as the Pocket Monster attacked the others, giving the same face to Peach, Perry and Marisa in the process. "Uh oh...They failed as well." Paula thought as the Virizion finished her own line of the attacks and gave them a speech at how wreckless the group were...Apart from Rosalina, Paula just sighed and looked at Peach, Perry and Marisa.

"I think we unknowingly made a mistake...But don't worry I think I have an idea on how we can end this fight early." Paula said as she waited for Virizion to attack again.

Princess Peach once again danced to the side, narrowly avoiding what could have been a devastating blast. Was she really struggling to dodge these attacks, or was she just flirting with danger? Before Peach could launch another attack, however, she was being spoken to. Huh-what? She'd failed the test? Confusion raced across her features as she listened to what Virizion had to say. The princess decidedly hesitated, hearing the other out. ...But hold on just one moment. Was she being lectured for defending herself..? ...For defending the child Virizion had just hurt? Peach's eyes narrowed into a glare, a look of rage mixed with betrayal filling those normally docile eyes. Her grip on Perry tightened, a change in demeanor that did not go unnoticed by the parasol. Her free hand balled into a fist, which she promptly thrust to her side in defiance.

"How dare you lecture us?! You were the one who attacked an innocent child. You should be ashamed!" Peach snapped, staring Virizion down for a moment with eyes full of conviction.

"Would you hesitate to protect them?" the princess continued, her muscles loosening and her body relaxing a bit as she got some of that anger out of her system. Perry just sort of gave Paula a nervous look from his position held at Peach's side. Normally he would chime in with his own thoughts at a time like this, but this had suddenly become an adult conversation. Perhaps if the parasol hadn't been so distracted, he would have picked up on how Peach chose to compare Paula to her own child.1d20·1d20+4

Virizion gave a confused look as no one seemed to attack after she declared a real battle. Peach caught her attention however with her words. She seemed really angry.

And she of course had a right to be. Virizion gave a smug smirk before speaking. "There is more than one way to protect someone. Your method of protecting was one of force. If I truly wished no harm I would of did the best to shield and not strike. However, though your actions were justified, I can not say the same of the other two," Virizion stated as if she was trying to strike a nerve.

Virizion jumped down quickly from the rock and right in front of Marisa. While Virizion was blocking Marisa a bright glow came from her body. Then a wall of solidified light appeared on all sides of the rock and extending all the way through the forest. It looked like Marisa's actions forced Virizion to create a impassable wall to prevent going further in or to Keldeo.

Rosalina continued thinking and realized something was not right. She said she was not expecting them to fail so quickly and not directly that they failed. Additionally she was acting completely differently from before implying that this was a facade. Also she said there was more to the test than there appeared... Wait, Willpower and Mind... She is not telling them everything so she can provoke them into attacking with what she did say!

Rosalina tapped into the minds of Marisa, Peach and Paula to speak telepathically. "It is still a trap! We have not failed the test. She is trying to trick us into striking her. We mustn't fall for her tricks. We must ignore all her attempts at provoking us. Just focus on evasion and making sure no one gets hurt!" Rosalina transmitted telepathically.

Virizion struck forward with her blade in an attempt to pierce through Marisa and drain her life force with Giga Drain.

Paula quickly placed the new dried fireball away as Virizion tried to provoke the group to attack, mainly at Peach and Perry, after doing so she tried to stop Marisa by making a wall so the witch wont go after Keldeo, after doing so she tried to drain some of the witch's magic as Rosalina spoke to the rest of the group saying that they have not failed the test and that they must dodge the Virizion's attacks. "Oh...I see, thanks for the advice Rosalina." Paula said in her mind as she looked towards Perry, Peach and Marisa, before Paula could protect herself she should help protect themselves.

First for Peach and Perry since they were the cloests, Paula used PSI shield on them. "Here's some safety." She said to the two as she cast the move on them.

After casting a quite powerful shield, Paula flew towards Marisa to boost her defence. "Here Marisa, your gonna need to be quick on your magical feet to dodge Virizion's attacks." Paula said as she boosted Marisa's defence.

Soon after doing so Paula saw the oncoming energy ball and tried to fly out of the way from it.

Quickly Paula tried to fly away from the ball, however, It kept on coming towards her, quickly she tried to think of something, but soon the energy ball was very close to her, she covered hers and braced for the impact.

However the energy ball was destroyed Instead. "Huh?" Paula lowered her arm to find out that her shield managed to get rid of the energy ball. "The shield...I almost forgot I had this!" Paula said happily as she noticed the shield getting smaller, quickly she got rid of it before It hits her, as It would hurt her and make her dizzy.

"Phew, that was close...I didn't want to be dizzy."

Marisa's eyes widened, pulling her broom back, making a screeching brake sound as she poked against the wall that virizon had made, pouting. "Yare Yare Daze, Give me a break already!" Marisa said, obviously aggravated from this trickery that the pocket monster was giving her. And then, Roalina was telling her to just avoid Virizon's attack's,  and make sure no one else was hurt. Boring! But, Whatever, Marisa would follow as best as she could. Wait, was paula saying something??

Marisa shook her head, shivering as she got up, looking back at virizon. Once again Peach listened to what Virizion had to say, attentively and with dignity.

...But if it hadn't been Virizion's words, it would have been her actions. Once again, Virizion had attacked Paula. Once again, Peach's heart had skipped a beat. Once again, Peach was mad. Her temper was boiling! She felt like she could just... just..! The fuming princess' stomach growled and she just sort of sulked for a moment. It turned out Peach was feeling a bit too weak to fly into a full-on fiery, bridge burning rage. She was, however, feeling confrontational enough to slap some sense into a horse! In spite of Rosalina's efforts, in spite of her better judgement, Peach lunged forward at Virizion! It looked like she might really let Virizion have it now!

...Nah.

The attack never came. Rather, Peach slowed to a stop before ever reaching Virizion and just sort of hopped forward to hug the sword of justice. It wasn't even a tackle, or a particularly rough embrace. Just a normal, if not persistent, hug. "I would appreciate it if you would divert your attention here, Miss Forest Guardian~!" Peach remarked, a magical heart rising from the two of them as she attempted to charm the other into ceasing her attacks.

It wasn't a one trick move, either. By physically attaching herself to Virizion, Peach hoped to become enough of a nuisance that Virizion would focus on her instead of her allies. Thanks to Paula, she had a personal shield to help protect her from any retaliation.

Virizion noticed everyone seemed to stop attacking all of a sudden. Her energy was restored a bit from the witch but Paula evaded the Energy Ball. This was still decently in her favor if they decided to stop attacking. However, one of them did seemed like they were about to strike. It seemed striking at the girl again made her angry like Virizion expected. Virizion gave a smug smirk as she prepared herself for an attack... But did something seem wrong?

Virizion realized what the princess was attempting to do but it was already too late. She did not have time to move out of the way before the Princess clung to her. Virizion paused at the surprise and feeling of the hug but she shook her head after a few seconds. She had to stay determined! However the princess was kind of distracting her and prohibiting her movement options.

Startled by the sudden feeling of affection, The Gazelle Sword let off a double kick at Peach's Midriff.

Virizion then realized there was some kind of mystical barrier around the princess. The Grass Sword focused and gave a knee to Peach to disable her for a brief second before transferring the PSI Shield to herself if the knee hit.

Rosalina looked to her allies before deciding what she must do. Rosalina took advantage of Peach's distraction to get behind Virizion and then jumping on her. From up there she should be able to interfere with the Grass Type's attacks.

Paula watched as Peach and Rosalina started to...Try and ride on the pocket monster, It was getting weird, she turned towards Marisa and spoke. "I think It's time to do my plan." Paula said as she saw Virizion try to transfer her PSI shield onto her, she knew things were going to get crazy should she succeed so she flew towards the Pocket Monster to help her. "Wait!" Paula said as she flew towards Virizion and landed infront of her.


"Virizion...I want to help you." Paula said taking out an object and putting It behind her back, the object was in fact the dried up fireball from earlier, she happily spoke to the Pocket Monster...If she would listen.

"So this forest is a shelter for Pocket Monsters right? Do they ever get board?"

Peach was a bit too busy hugging Virizion to dodge. In fact, she seemed oblivious to the attack until the moment it hit her. The princess winced, wobbling slightly as a shudder ran down her spine. Rather pathetically, her eyes began to fill with tears. "I don't believe I'll be able to survive if you keep being so hurtful, Virizion..." Peach warned, as if Virizion was a child being difficult rather than a monster threatening her with bodily harm.

The princess, though she was now officially 'hurt', would ignore this affront to her dignity and respond with an even bigger hug~! With any luck, she would be able to continue obstructing Virizion's movements. With a lot of luck, she might frustrate Virizion with her obstructionism enough to convince the other to end the test. Surely, no non-evil-aligned character would actually kill her... At the very least, she could buy her allies time. Paula was hopefully out of danger, Virizion would probably not be able to throw Rosalina off before her, and ... Well Marisa was probably safe too! It seemed like a fair trade, as much as she resented taking hits.

Virizion looked to Peach as she talked and gave a stern look. She seemed to be trying to make her feel guilty for trying to slay her. Maybe there was a small bit of truth in what she was saying if Virizion bothered to think about it... But wasn't she justified to do this?

Virizion was more than justified in doing this act. This princess's deceit will not work on her. "That is the point of my actions. Your words hold no relevant meaning," Virizion put bluntly... until she noticed a girl flying around.

It was a pitiful attempt at distracting Virizion as she saw right through it. Virizion turned her attention to Paula and ignored the witch completely. "No, as a matter of fact, they do not. We offer plenty of things for them to do. And that is for when they are not busy playing amongst themselves.... Besides, I think I am out of time..." Virizion said as she looked at the deeper parts of the forest and saw a bright blue light. "You have passed my test. You may go further in. I have other matters to attend to," Virizion said before shaking off Peach and Rosalina. The wall of light gave a flash before disappearing and then Virizion ran deeper in before disappearing.

Rosalina got up and dusted herself off before looking at the rock. "You can come out now. She is gone," Rosalina stated as she figured out the reason Keldeo did what he did. There was a moment of pause before Keldeo came out from behind the rock and walked over to Rosalina and held up his head for Rosalina to take it back.

"I'm sorry... I kind of panicked.... But I guess Virizion told you anyway..." Keldeo stated apologetically. He did seem very genuine in what he was saying. "... But there seemed to be a misunderstanding... There are no other intruders. Pokemon from here found the star and took him here so he can recover from his injuries... I am sorry for giving you trouble... I was still kind of scared after you four forced Terrakion to flee... I never saw him give up before..." Keldeo admitted.

Rosalina leaned down and petted Keldeo. "It's okay, we understand. It was a bad first impression," Rosalina admitted.

Paula watched as Virizion looked at the figure in the sky, before looking at the deeper parts of the forest after noticing a blue glow at the forest, she looked back at the group and said that they have passed the test before leaving to tend to matters at her own hands. "We passed? Lucky us...Great job team." Paula said to everyone else as Keldeo appeared, revealing that he hid during the battle and knew where the Luma was.

"So, the Luma is safe? Can we see him?" Paula said as the little Pocket Monster quickly apologized, so far Rosalina was the only person in the group that have forgave him, she knew Marisa probably wont and Peach and Perry will definitely will, so she might as well accept Keldeos apology also.

"It's ok Keldeo, your too cute to get mad it...Plus you know where the Luma Is, who Is safe and sound so you did help us." Paula said as she hugged Keldeo before looking at him.

"Thank you."

Marisa was getting sick of this, as she put her hand on her cheek, letting out a humph of boredom. She was hoping this would be a super fun, run around, shoot things and get stuff! Not a preachy "Save the forests" story. She destroyed more wood-life with the Sure-Fire Master spark than she could think.....Along with anything else that as unfortunate to be close by the blast radius of said laser.

Just when marisa was gonna say screw it and take out the ol' Can of "Master Spark Whoopass" (Part of Mama Hippo's Things that aint me' dang cookies" collection), The green deer thing up and hopped away. Finally! Marissa hopped down, floating down by magic on her feet as she landed behind paula, looking at My Little Pain-in-the-butt here. Since she was the one late to the party, she was just gonna stand there, arms crossed with her ever-pouty face as she awaited something, anything to shoot lasers at. "Yare Yare Daze..."

Peach nearly fell over as Virizion pulled loose from her, stumbling a bit. Huh! Clearly her hugs had worked. There was no other explanation for Virizion's sudden forfeit! Haw haw. "...I've never seen you use hugs to fight!" Perry remarked idly. Peach gave Perry a funny look in response. "One shouldn't hug violently, Perry!" she corrected warily. "That might really upset someone." she went on to explain. The hug was a holy symbol of affection and to hurt someone with it was an affront to love itself. Clearly.

By now, Keldeo had been drawn from his hiding place. Peach emitted a sigh of relief, moving to check on Paula for a moment as Rosalina explained their actions. "Are you alright..?" she would quietly ask the smaller girl, apparently concerned for her wellbeing. Peach would briefly turn her attention upon Keldeo, waving in a friendly manner. It seemed like the others had already said everything she wanted to, albeit with a different choice of words. "We're sorry we frightened you." the princess would add nonchalantly, before giving Marisa a rather bemused look. She lolled her head to the side at the witch, just sort of trying to figure out what the other was saying. She hadn't a chance of figuring it out, sadly.
