The Ban List
Sometimes, the staff will feel that a series isn't fit for Life Itself, either because it just feels out of place standing next to Mario and Kirby, or does not fit the tone / theme of the site. Or because members express concerns about it being appable! Whenever this happens, assuming it isn't a particularly extreme example that warrants immediate action, the staff will create a thread here known as a Suspect Test. This is a thread where you can post your feelings about a series and address concerns about the series. There are a few rules to abide by when discussing a suspect test.
1) No Arguments/Debates
We want things civil. Therefore, discussion of suspect tests should take the form of a Q&A format. People raise concerns, and other people attempt to address them. If an answer to a concern isn't a good enough answer, or a concern isn't particularly strong, the staff will discuss that privately and make that decision on their own.
2) The Ban List takes priority over normal ligality rules
Even if a series shows up in Smash, that doesn't mean it can't be on the ban list.
3) You can request a suspect test or a re-do of a suspect test at any time.
However, unless the circumstances have changed by quite a bit a re-do is likely to be declined. For example, Assassin's Creed was re-tested only after getting into Smash.
