The current scenario was not being favorable for the group. Fox may have been dragged to safety but was still very much bloody and in pain. As he was pleading to the group to help hatch a plan while bloody and not completely focused in terms of finding a solution, Yumiko offered to help Fox with some healing abilities. With little to no other options, Fox agrees to the aid. "If you could do whatever you can to get me well again with this wound, I may be able to jump in and give a shot to helping the Red Eye." The group has survived this long so far, and Fox believed they can make it to Scales in one piece if they strategized correctly.

Banjo and Kazooie attempted to rush in and help the Red Eye with their best efforts but failed, taking damage along with the Red Eye being shot as well as laser beams fired directly at them in a seamless burning ray of light. Though Banjo and the bird made it back to cover ok, though somewhat hurt, the Daddy Red Eye flinched on the ground as it was fired at piercing its right thigh and leaving a circular burn mark.

During this, Slippy was still rigorously looking through his gear to find any equipment to assist in the vital and risky danger they were all going through right now, and after spending a good while digging around, Slippy notices his shield device has recharged and presented itself as ready for use again blinking at Slippy ready to fire away. The amphibious intellectual smiled and pulled out the cube shaped shield mechanism and tossed it out at Daddy Red Eye.

Slippy's Shield Is active again. 60% DMG protection with no time limit until destroyed with all who are inside of it protecting from long or medium range attacks. Close range attacks are not protected against however and anyone can enter the shield. DEX ROLLS CAN BE BYPASSED WHILE THE SHIELD IS ACTIVE TO RESCUE THE DINO. STR ROLLS MUST STILL BE ROLLED FOR AND BE 16 OR ABOVE FOR A SUCCESSFUL RESCUE.

"This should help us just fine! At least for a bit." Instantly Slippy's shield hits the ground near the dino and pops open a large technicolor laser bubble protecting Daddy Red Eye from damage and anyone within the shield for some portion of damage just as he used earlier on. It covered the corner the team was hiding behind as well so they could easily walk in it without being shot.

"Nice work frog face! I hope it lasts at least long enough to save that dinosaur!" Slippy nods in agreement. Panther jumps in volunteering to be the next to try and save the Red Eye. "Let me give this a spin shall we?" Panther puts his paws together and cracks his knuckles. With a hop in his step he dashes to the Red Eye to try and drag him back.

With miraculous strength, Panther digs his paws into the Red Eye's hit right leg, and with all his might slowly but surely drags the dinosaur behind cover with the team to safety. The Red Eye is then helped up by Panther once they were behind cover by being pushed back to his feet. The Younglings cheered and rejoiced at their Daddy's safety and nuzzled him with a coo.

Ofcourse this sudden action triggered the snipers to fire at the shield immediately taking out 20 percent of its power source but leaving the Red Eye unscathed. The group commended Slippy. The Daddy Red Eye nuzzled his children right back and licked their faces. He then licked Fox's face as he saw Fox on the ground recovering from his injury. Fox giggled petting the Daddy Red Eye on the snout. "Good to see you safe, my friend." Fox then looked at Panther in thanks.

"I appreciate your help there Panther. You really didn't have to jump in like that, but it just shows how strong of a heart and a soul you have. You're a pretty wonderful cat." Panther's face grew red and he pretended not to be tickled and appreciative of that compliment. "Yeah sure. Not a problem. It's a part of being a Life Sphere Do Gooder or what have you I guess. Let's make sure we take out those snipers and find Wolf now got it? Use that brain of yours Fox and lets devise a way in!" Panther snapped right back into focused war zone mode and kept his head in the game.

Leon agreed. "Panther is on point with pushing for a plan here. I mean we're sitting ducks. My invisibility just wore off otherwise I would volunteer myself to scout ahead first and find weak points in that base to strike and strike hard. Plus Pigma roughed me up pretty good." Leon wanted to obviously help, but had no good ideas presently. Slippy began thinking in silence on his own to come up with what else he could do to pitch in. Panther was sort of relying on others to come up with something as he looked back and forth at the faces of the group waiting for someone to speak up.

Fox gave at least somewhat of a start to a plan. "Well guys, I think Daddy Red Eye and the Younglings should stay behind cover to be our escape backup and ready to take off with us at the drop of a dime. I'll separate myself from the Daddy Red Eye since it's too risky and he's too bulky to avoid gun fire going in." Fox then pulled out a large horn that was cut to have an opening to blow in and tied to some shoe lacing from his boot which he then put around his neck.

"This is a horn I used back on Dinosaur Planet. It makes a loud and high pitched vocal sound that will summon any dinosaur nearby to come to its location. The Red Eyes will respond to this signal when we need their help to escape. My only idea is one of us can run into the shield bubble, pick up the shield cube and move with the bubble as a distraction while the rest of us rush to the entrance and push our way in. There are two more stationed with blasters at the front, but I think if we're quick we can take them out no problem before they can even fire." Fox turns to Yumiko.

"Yumiko, didn't you say you wanted to try and distract them? Or maybe..." Fox then looks to Banjo and Kazooie. "Did you two want to be the winners there while I lead the rest of us to the front of the base? That is, after I heal." The plan wasn't the perfect one, but it was something. Fox seemed to be holding the attention to most of the group and at this point, would be willing to take full blame for any possible failure here, unless others had a better idea. "Always open to suggestions too everyone." Fox left the conversation open to debate as they all prepared for the next step of moving forward.

It was a hard time getting the Red Eye's father back to where the group was, as Banjo and Kazooie had managed to bungle it up and get shot at by Falco and Peppy, but fortunately Panther managed to bring the Father the rest of the way back as Yumiko nodded when Fox suggested that she heal his injury. "Right, hold still." Yumiko told Fox as she shoot a little beam of light to Fox's gunshot wound to hopefully close it up and stop the bleeding.

"There, that should help you for now." Yumiko finished using Diarahan on Fox, and then the topic moved onto ideas on how to get into the base now that there stuck thanks to Falco and Peppy. With the most popular idea being that they distract them, something of which Yumiko is on board with and nodded again when Fox mentioned it.

"Yeah, I could easily distract them with my powers while everyone else can rush into the base. If possible I can even try and get up to where the two are and remove their collars if i'm quick enough and there's nobody else there." Yumiko told Fox about her plan.

"Just tell me when and I can start it." Yumiko got ready if everyone was on board to distract Falco and Peppy.

"Seriously, Banjo? Why did you think that was a good idea?" Kazooie continued to berate Banjo for his poor decision making. Yes, getting an ally out of harms way was important, she was aware of that, but the least they could've done was wait for someone in better condition to step forward and help. In fact someone did step forward. Slippy, to be specific. With a neat little shield and some heavy lifting from their catlike teammate, the Red Eye was brought safely into cover. Doing that probably wasn't necessary at all.

"Seriously?! Fox?! Not us?! We're WAY more beat up than him!" Kazooie snapped at Yumiko, the group's healer. While they were, in fact, somewhat more beat up than Fox, the yelling wasn't really necessary. Banjo just gave Yumiko an apologetic frown.

With that out of the way, now the group had to address the fact that they had to move forward. The current plan was to have one of them take the shield and act as a distraction while everyone else made a reckless charge. Banjo actually liked the idea, and stepped forward, much to Kazooie's chagrin.

"Sure, Fox. That sounds like that'll work. How about we take the shield? We could probably take flight with it, too." Kazooie facewinged, sighed, and began to interject.

"Seriously, Banjo? After we just got shot up? I didn't realize you were that stupid." Banjo didn't like what he was hearing, but let her continue. "Besides, I'm getting pretty tired of flying. It was cool at first, but I'm starting to get tuckered out."

Banjo gave his reply. "It wouldn't be for that long. Besides, we'd be harder to hit, and could probably get into a good position to lay down suppressive fire with a Grenade Egg. We probably wouldn't even have to be too precise."

Kazooie let out a heavy sigh. Banjo was actually making sense, and only when it was the least oppertune. Maybe she could stop his train of thought by refusing to fly. Would that be a bad idea in this situation?

"Please just let Yumi take the shield."

"C'mon Kazooie, it won't be that bad."

"Are you really forgetting who the smart one here is?"

"Actually you're more like average intelligence."

"Banjo!"

"I'm sorry, I just wanted to point it out."

Banjo wants to take the shield. Kazooie doesn't, but there's not much she can do right now.

Hearing Fox's concern, Yumiko provides Fox with a cool wave of healing energy. This causes his wound to slowly close up as the blood dries out and the open puncture point seals itself to a small scar. Fox starts to feel better and breathes in the refreshing exchange of magic. He then goes from a seated position of discomfort to standing up in good form and posture and dusting himself off as the energy waves dissipate.

Upon his recovered state, he hears Yumiko's idea of distraction followed by Banjo and Kazooie adding their take on what should happen to get the group inside the bunker; though the bird and bear were slightly indifferent. Feeling better and more able to think, Fox comes up with a happy medium. "Thank you sincerely for that aid Yumiko. And how about this.....Yumiko you and I will enter the shield together that way in case the shield breaks from too much damage I can always use my deflector ability as extra backup to counter the shots coming at us." Fox then adds to the plan utilizing Banjo and Kazooie.

"Banjo, Kazooie, we will need Andrew and General Pepper taken care of holding the entrance of that bunker down with their blasters. They dont have snipers like Falco and Peppy do up top, so if you keep a distance and attack that way they shouldnt be able to strike you too easy. Maybe an airborne assault would be a recommendation...." Fox points to Yumiko and then gestures to himself. "Me and Yumiko will be distracting the snipers so you should have air passage without being shot down." Fox looks to the rest of the group now.

"Slippy, see if you have a gadget that can help you find a way to climb one of these surrounding buildings to find a back way to the bunker without being noticed by the foes guarding it up front. These buildings are unsafe and are ready to fall at any moment, be careful traversing them for an alternate path to Scales." Slippy nods liking the idea. "You betcha Fox! I'm sure I can find something in my pack to help me get inside the enemy base another way." Slippy goes right to looking in his pack again.

"Panther and Leon, because of your espionage and covert op experience I'll need you to provide Banjo and Kazooie with backup by pushing forward to the front of the base from here utilizing whatever cover you can find to divert Pepper and Andrew's fire from Banjo and Kazooie while they get into the air and position to attack from above. If Banjo and Kazooie are quick enough, they could strike first before they lock eyes on you and start firing as you run ahead to the entrance of their fortress." Panther and Leon look at eachother upon Fox's orders and shrug.

"Cool, we're the bait. Excellent. Throw the lizard at the baddies I see how it goes." Panther playfully nudges Leon for his complaining. "Lighten up. I'll have your back. We just have to remember our old serpentine tactic from back in our ground operative days." Leon gives a smug to Panther, not taking his jest lightly. "Cause it's just that easy right, Panther? It is what it is, as long as you don't abandon me this plan may work." Panther reassures Leon.

"If I ever double cross someone it's because they've done me wrong in the past or deserve it, you? You haven't made the list....yet." Leon smirks at his comment. "Gee thanks kitty." Panther gives him a thumbs up as a form of 'you're welcome' and the two seem to be on board with Fox's plan. Now that everyone has heard the plan Fox makes sure they are all ready to move ahead. "Ok, any objections now that we have a scheme of things? As I said, the Daddy Red Eye and his children will stay here behind cover until it's time for us to split and they'll give us the backup we need to escape when the time comes." The dinos nod and lightly roar in agreement.

"And guys....I just want to say, whether you all believe that there is a happy ending to this war....and this hell....that this planet isn't our ending, or if it is..." Fox closes his eyes and puts his right paw on his heart. "Just remember to always believe in the good. And that when there isn't a light in that darkness, we can always create our own. We write our endings, we bind that book, nobody else does it for us. There's always another way....always." Fox puts a paw out and invites others to put their hands in for a group cheer. "All of us matter in our own way. We all play an important part in this world. So let's make this ending today, a happy one. Bring it in, and and give me a Hoorah." Fox waits for the others to take part in the cheer.

Panther, Leon, and Slippy put their hands in, though a few of them had faces of disinterest expressed, they still did it and connected their hands with Fox's. The Red Eyes put their tails in the circle since their hands were too small. Now it was just Banjo, Kazooie, and Yumiko to be added in to it all. Whether or not they would jump in would be up to them, but Fox would give them a few seconds to decide if they wanted the extra motivation or not, otherwise, it would soon be time to set the plan in action.

Back at the bunker....

"I swear this place is a bloody maze. The lab is supposed to be here somewhere. I know this bunker had one because the Cornerian scientist told me so before I killed him. Him and a few other useless refugees that were in this city that didn't know how to fight whatsoever tried to hold this place down, but me and a few of the Red Eyes I found on the outskirts of this place made quick work of them." Scales laughs. "It's amazing what you can achieve through simple conversation and persuasion. Am I a sociopath or a genius? I guess it doesn't matter, this is going in one ear and out the other with you anyway, slave." Scales still didn't realize Wolf had hacked his collar and regained his consciousness.

Wolf continues to stay silent and follow Scales closely behind. He does so with clenched fists and gritted teeth. When the moment was right, he would strike him down and smite him to nothing without a second glance. Scales would be destroyed at his most unguarded time. After a few more steps they each a large metal door with a keypad next to it. It was the final door at the far end of this bunker and their last shot at any potential lab.

Scales makes the assumption that they were in the right place. "This must be it. Bash the console and open the door for me doggy." Wolf feigns a loyal grin and bashes the console with a righteous fist. The door mechanism clicks and the door slides open by itself revealing a laboratory illuminated in hues of green and smokey white light. There were all sorts of computer consoles and tubes of strange, severed limbs from various species as well as wires of all kinds hanging from the ceiling connected to each console within the lab. In the darkest corner of the lab however there was an elevated containment chamber covered in a dense fog within the encapsulated container.

Scales face widens as he sees the chamber. "There it is! My ticket to true power and surviving this dump!" The General marches over to the chamber, raises his sharp hook and slices at the glass busting it open. Glass shatters all over the ground and a plume of mist leaves the container. When the fog cleared, what it revealed Wolf's eyes will never forget. His pupils shook with horror. It was the ultimate weapon for a vile monster like Scales to ever use......

Yumiko smiled when Fox thanked her for healing him. "Anything to help everyone here, plus you were bleeding pretty severely." Yumiko then turned towards Kazooie. She wanted to laugh but now was not the time.

"But your not bleeding severely from a bullet wound like Fox, even if you were just shot at by two snipers." Maybe Yumiko should heal Banjo and Kazooie the next time here diarahan comes back and she could use it again. She wanted to be kind to everyone here and while she's doing a good job so far, she wished to make it up with Kazooie and the Baby Red Eye that she had injured earlier.

But right now it was time to free everyone else who was being controlled by Scales and so Yumiko agreed to follow Fox into the shield to try and distract Falco and Peppy while everyone else trys to get to Andrew and Pepper. "Right, i'm ready when you are." Yumiko said to Fox as she was ready to move towards the Shield with him.

But before he did, he gave out a motivation speech about giving up, which Yumiko found helpful. She decided to join in by putting her hand at the center. "Hoorah." She shouted at the same time as everyone else.

Before she waited for Fox to move out.

To Kazooie's utter dismay, Banjo's idea of taking flight again went by well with Fox. Fox, however, suggested that they not take the shield, so they could act as air support, rather than a distraction. While drawing the attention of enemy combatants would surely be an unfavorable task, they'ed at least be given some protection from fire. Without it, though, Kazooie wasn't liking the idea.

"You owe me big time for this, Banjo..." Kazooie said, feeling as though she was being shafted.

"Sure, Kazooie. Any specific requests?" Banjo asked.

"I dunno. Maybe some extra spending money?"

"What, you mean coins?" 

"Yeah, sure, that sounds good."

"What will you be spending it on?"

"Whatever I want."

It seemed as though Kazooie was willing to be bribed. At least she was cooperating. She took the moment to stretch a bit, making sure her body was ready for a little extra physical exertion, while Banjo started listening in on Fox's speech. It wasn't anything too special, just a speech about how they could all make it through and achieve a happy ending. Banjo hardly ever doubted this, but it was good to know Fox felt that way too.

"Heh. Thanks for being optimistic Fox. Don't worry, I think we'll be fine. The only thing we have to worry about is poor decision making and bad dice rolls." Banjo then promptly remembered that people generally don't understand fourth wall remarks. To them it sounded like he intended solving their problems by playing Craps, and that obviously wouldn't make sense.

"Hoorah." Banjo said, placing his hand paw into the center and enjoying the opportunity for team spirit. Even Yumiko joined in. Kazooie, however, couldn't be bothered to feign interest.

"You all done with the mushy crap?" Kazooie said, sounding rather bored.

"Does that mean you're ready to take off again?" Banjo asked.

"Yup, let's get going. We've wasted enough time here as is." Kazooie replied.

"Yeah, you're right. Let's go!" Banjo said, a hint of excitement in his voice.

Yumiko, Banjo, Kazooie, and the rest of the team once again all seemed to be onboard. Fox was touched by such cooperation and determination seeing everyone work so closely together. This really made survival on the planet much more bearable. He fights some tears as he manages to smile when they all put their energy into that cheer. After a few moments he breaks the team huddle and points to Yumiko.

"Alright Yumiko, let's do this together. Follow me...quickly! On the count of 3...." Fox takes a breath eying the shield intently just beyond the wall everyone was hiding behind to avoid the rapid gun fire. He begins to count and paces in place preparing his body for the rush to come. "1..." He takes another breath. "2..." He looks at Yumiko and says the final number. "3!" He pounces out from behind the wall and somersaults into the shield hoping Yumiko followed his lead.



Without even bothering to look behind him or beside him for Yumiko to come into the shield, Fox bashes on his deflector the instant he gets his body into the shield and adds more defense to the tactic as laser beams fire away at the shield without pause. He would use his deflector to attempt to counter the first round of beams as the deflector energy erodes in the plenty outside the shield boundaries to prevent the shield from taking necessary damage and being that extra layer of protection.

As he is controlling the frequency of his deflector, he is moving with the shield to cover ground and getting as close to the bunker entrance as possible.

Fox is using his deflector to be an outer layer of protection to deflect the laser bullets being fired at him and take the damage instead of the shield. He must exceed a roll of 14 or above to deflect the beams successfully.

With his attempt at countering a failure, the laser beams pierce through Fox's deflector energy and hit the shield instead. The shield capacity takes another 20% DMG hit, going down to only 20% capacity left for absorbing DMG. Meaning it can only take one more hit before vanishing. Though the deflection failed, Fox and Yumiko remain on the move towards the bunker. They may be able to reach it in just a few feet. After two more rounds of bullets while Falco and Peppy reload their snipers from above, the group seems viable to successfully reach the building.

"I'd say after a few more shots, we should be close enough to get inside. But the shield will only last one more round of gunfire! I'll use my deflector again in a moment to see if I have better luck next time." Fox was explaining to Yumiko as fast as he could that his deflector will just take a moment to recharge again and he will give the counter technique another try, otherwise they must keep moving and stay sharp as the gunners above reload and fire again.

Yumiko can step out of the shield and attempt to rush either Falco or Peppy if she wishes and climb up to the balcony to remove one of their collars. But she must exceed a DEX roll of 19 or above to be successful at this distance. Otherwise, she can wait until they get closer to the building for an easier chance.

General Pepper and Andrew Oikonny were not firing their blasters at Fox and Yumiko just yet, but they may start to unleash bullets soon if Banjo and Kazooie don't fly towards them and start the distraction immediately. Panther and Leon were already running ahead in a serpentine and zig zag like fashion towards the main entrance of the bunker while Falco and Peppy were being occupied by Fox and Yumiko's advance. Andrew and Pepper began firing their blasters at a closer range towards the advancing Leon and Panther. Leon gave a warning to dodge.

"PANTHER SPLIT UP NOW!" The two serpentining together then split apart and went opposite directions as they ran to the building trying to avoid the gunfire in two very separate directional movement patterns to make them harder to hit. "What a great flashback feeling my friend! BACK TO WAR WE GO EH!?" Panther jested with Leon aloud as they split up forcing the blaster fire to scatter out.

Panther and Leon must exceed a combined roll of 12 or more to successfully dodge the incoming blaster fire.

Together they were able to throw the aim off Pepper and Andrew's guns and dodge the blasts completely getting ever closer to the entrance of the building. They just have to do that again once or twice more, or shield themselves to continue as prime targets for the two blasting them away at the frontlines while Fox and Yumiko keep the attention of the higher ground snipers of Falco and Peppy.

Meanwhile, Slippy had put on his backpack which had sprouted mechanical spider legs allowing Slippy to climb walls and buildings. He had already made his way up a neighboring building hidden from the attackers up ahead and tucked away near the wall of cover the gang was using. It was a much longer route towards the bunker this way, but Slippy remained undetected with this approach and stayed safe. As he traversed the building the battle raged on, and he made as much haste as he could for the team.

If he makes it to the bunker safely from another route before the battle at the entrance of the bunker, he can maybe sneak up behind the brain washed troops and take their collars off. He hoped he would be able to do so as soon as the trek was done and an alternate path was successfully found. The Daddy Red Eye and his children remained patient behind cover as the battle kept going. They were eager to help pacing around and roaring about, but they remained hidden under cover as Fox commanded waiting for their time to shine.

Once more at the bunker....

In General Scales claws he now held one of the most sinister weapons Li had to offer. Wolf was frozen in shock. From within the bunker's laboratory Scales had found a vial of the Starvia Virus in its most wholesome form, sealed tightly in a large syringe with a needle at the bottom of it so someone could inject themselves with it. If he were to put it in his body his power would double if not triple and he'd be as maniacal if not moreso, then Pigma's twisted form after succumbing to it.

Scales bellowed a cackle. "HAHAHA! This is what I really came here for. Not to make a home in this dump of a city, but to find the power within it. And now that I have it, I can use it to energize myself and make my escape to the Essence Extraction Point and maybe have some leftover for my Master to utilize." Scales reached deep into the containment chamber that he busted open and grabbed a handful more of the Starvia filled syringes, but in much smaller sizes than the large amount he was holding in front of him.

Scales begins to hear the commotion outside and raises a scaly brow. "Oh no. They've arrived sooner than expected. Ok Wolfie...time to escort me outta here. Let's find the back way out of this trash heap and head to the Point of Essence. I am sure my Master could make use of you easily there. In...creative ways. Hee hee hee..." Scales gives a hint of mischief and malice in that statement and grabs a nearby biohazard bag and puts all the Starvia syringes inside of it and slings it over his back. He heads to the lab exit and expects Wolf to follow. After making it a few steps he looks behind him and notices Wolf is staying put. He then hears Wolf speak in defiance. "No." Scales face droops in surprise.

"Wh...what did you just say to me? YOU DO WHAT YOU'RE TOLD SLAVE! IS THAT COLLAR NOT TIGHT ENOUGH!?!" Wolf growls and snarls snapping back at Scales. "I SAID NO YOU DEAF INGRATE!" He then dips down into a crouch and rushes Scales tackling him with his claws out gripping Scales around his waist and turning him 180 degrees towards the nearest window of the laboratory and attempts to take him down in a great charging motion through the window pane.

SPECIAL WIS ROLL for Scales Perception of the tackle p_1d20 -1 (Scales wasn't really quick or perceptive enough to see it coming. Sorry lizard dude.)

SPECIAL DEX ROLL for Wolf Jetting Scales out of the window p_1d20 +3 (Oh yes, the tackle was mighty powerful. Wolf deals a critical 25% DMG to Scales with this move. Chance of Bleedout increased for duration of battle.)

Scales was pummeled as if a semi-truck just plowed him as Wolf digs his claws very, very deep in Scales hips causing blood shed and a tight grip, and the two go tumbling at a dangerous speed through the window breaking the glass and out onto the cold dirt rolling right in the middle of the battle outside. Wolf mounts Scales pinning him against the ground and begins clawing his face relentlessly with a piercing anger in his eyes.

STR Roll for It's In The Claws on Scales Face p_1d20 +1 (CRITICAL HIT! As Wolf slashes away at Scales' face doing an incredible 10% DMG as opposed to the usual 5 and causing an instant Bleedout Ailment adding to the previous glass breaking and claws digging into Scales hips earlier.)

Scales is moaning and yelping at the claws slashing up his face which became bloody quite quickly. Drips of his blood spill out onto the ground and the bag of syringes slides out from his claws and pour into the dirt, including the large thickest content syringe of the Starvia that Scales found. Wolf stops the slashing of Scales face and dives over to the syringes grabbing them and bagging them back up before anyone else around can take them.

Wolf looks around and sees his colleagues being fired at and having a showdown with Scales brain washed body guards. Everyone seemed to be preoccupied and Scales was on the ground too weak to move at the moment from Wolf's brutal attack. A thought raced in Wolf's head just then.

He could escape and leave the scene and head back to his tank with the bag of chemically isolated and deadly Starvia syringes and find a use for them, or perhaps sell them off in the Black Market for big bucks while leaving his team behind rather easily without looking back, or he could stick around and help his team finish the fight here and they can make a group decision on what to do with the Starvia supply.

But it was the sight of Fox with his pure at heart motives and the occurrence of seeing his old friends Leon and Panther again fighting as one to stop a common enemy that made him pause unsure of what to do next. His heart yearned to catch up with his old colleagues and get answers from Fox now that he seemed free from Scales control, but another part of him called out to flee the scene and leave the group to fend for themselves.

It was decision making time. And Wolf wasn't going to take too much longer deciding as he began to head to the City walls looking back several times at his team working so hard and so closely together.

Ok people, now is your chance in the mission to really milk your character personalities and fluff up a post to stop Wolf from taking the loot and fleeing. Use all your convincing skills and beautiful dialogue and description abilities that you can to write a beautiful post to get Wolf to stick around like a good puppy, or, you can attempt to roll a 19 or above in WIS to do a perception Roll and trick Wolf, taking the entire Starvia drug loot for yourself and taking off.

This would ofcourse add LOTS to an EVIL affinity to your character however. Choose wisely.

Yumiko just stared at Kazooie before she got ready to help Fox get into the bunker with the shield.

Yumiko got ready to move with Fox. When he said three in his countdown Yumiko ran as fast as she could with him towards the shield and quickly made it at the same time as him, thanks to her jumping into the shield so she can pick up speed. It worked and now her and Fox were inside the shield. "We made it. Now we can try and get into the Bunker." Yumiko said to Fox as she helped him navigate their way towards the shield.

Unfortunately thanks to the brainwashed Falco and Peppy. The shield got a lot of damage and by the looks of it, the next shot will destroy it and leave the two out in the open again. Fox was going to try one last effort to make sure the shield was strong enough to get the two of them into the bunker.

But upon realising how close they were near the balcony that Falco and Peppy were in. Yumiko had an idea and looked up to Slippy's headband. It was working again after it glitched out thanks to Pigma's screeching.

"Wait Fox, I got an idea. If I can time it right, I can jump up to the balcony and remove Falco & Peppy's collars." Yumiko switched on the headband and decided to give it a shot. It was risky, but she feels as though with the boost that the Headband was given it. It should make their rescue a little bit easy.

While Falco and Peppy were reloading their snipers Yumiko raced out towards the shield and towards the Balcony to jump up to it with her magarudyne boost and the support of the headband.

Yumiko fired upwards with her magarudyne, which was high enough for Yumiko to stand on the balcony, where she proceeded to shoot a little bit of maziodyne into Falco's collar and ripped it off of him so she can save him first. She'll get to Peppy in a minute. "Your free!" Yumiko proclaimed before looking down at Fox as she threw Falco's collar away.

"Fox, I got Falco's collar. I'm going to try and get Peppy's!" Yumiko revealed to Fox, before she heard the sound of something breaking nearby and turned to see Wolf. It seems he was alright and appeared to be beaten up Scales.

Unfortunately for Yumiko and everyone else, it looks like he was going to escape by himself and leave everyone behind, something which Yumiko was going to try and prevent before she rescued Peppy.

"Wolf wait!" Yumiko yelled high enough for Wolf to hear.

"Don't leave, we've come so far and everyone is almost rescued. Don't you want to finish this mission together...Were a team aren't we?" Yumiko asked Wolf, trying to convince him to stay and finish off this mission.

"Don't leave us behind and be alone, be a hero and help us, so you won't be alone again...Ask yourself if you really want to do this?"

Banjo and Kazooie readied themselves as Fox counted down. At the count of 1 Banjo squatted down a bit. At the count of 2 Kazooie brought out her wings and spread them far apart. On the count of 3, the duo quickly exchanged glances before shooting up into the air.

The two were able to see things pretty well from up there. They couldn't see Pepper or Andrew very well, but they could see Falco and Peppy perfectly. The two aimed their shots before firing into the shield, dealing some damage to it. It surely wouldn't last very long at this rate. Banjo and Kazooie glided down a bit, trying to get a good view of Pepper and Andrew. As the two shot their blasters at Leon and Panther on the ground, Kazooie discreetly fired a single egg.

The Clockwork Kazooie landed in front of the two sentries before walking towards the more simian of the pair. Andrew could try and run away from it, but it'd most likely blow up in his face regardless.

Just then, however, their attention was pulled away from the front lines temporarily by something crashing out of a window, covering the surrounding area with shards of glass. It was Wolf! He was okay, and according to the lack of a blinking red light, he was in full control of himself. He also had Scales with him, who seemed to be disoriented, on top of having some rather unsightly bleeding wounds. Wolf got off of him, and seemed to be trying to leave the scene. Yumiko was already trying to tell him not to leave, but Banjo thought he would need some extra encouragement. At his request Kazooie reluctantly swooped down and landed right next to him, falling to the ground slowly to avoid cutting Banjo's feet on the glass. As Yumiko continued to speak, the duo looked at the bag he had in his possession. They couldn't quite be sure of its contents, but it had to be important.

"Wolf, what's that?" Banjo began. He wasn't sure exactly what it was still, but he assumed that whatever it was, the Life Sphere could probably use it. "Are you really going to run away with that? Whatever it is, I'm sure it'd be useful to the kind people in the Life Sphere. You're not really going to sneak away with it now, are you?" Banjo looked at Wolf with sad, almost puppy-dog eyes. Kazooie, knowing that Wolf probably didn't care much about what Banjo said, added to his argument by making a different point entirely.

"Seriously though, take it from me, whatever that is, it's probably going to cause you a lot more trouble in the long run if you just take off with it. Not sure if you want to keep it, or hock it, or something else entirely, but whatever you want to do with it, it'll most likely lead to yet another adventure, sorta like this one. Save yourself the headache and stick with us a little longer, okay Wolf?" Kazooie had to stop herself from referring to him as Rolf again, as funny as that would be. She didn't actually want to be mean to him. Not right now, anyways. If he insulted her again, though, she definitely would.

The heat was on and the intensity only grew as so much was happening at once outside the bunker walls. The city went from a desolate ruin to a harsh battlefield in no time at all. Yumiko was smart keeping a hold of Slippy's tech and utilizing it once again for her advantage. Using the tech from Slippy, she leaped like a magical gazelle out of the pits of hell to Falco and with a majestic landing, carefully and soothingly removed his collar with her magic.

The collar clicked off and fell to the floor. Falco's eyes regained their natural color and his feathers began to go from rough and ruffled to more layered and free again. He looked at his wings and his body realizing he has control again and stares deeply at Yumiko in thanks. "Thank you my lady." Falco sees that he had his blaster out and holsters it. He looks to Peppy directly beside him who was readying his sniper for firing and sees the coldness in Peppy's eyes and the blunt, soulless demeanor he had about him.

Falco speaks to Peppy in a bold tone. "Enough of this, Hare. Time to put down your weapon!" With a swift motion of his wing Falco attempts to remove the rabbit's collar.

At this close of a proximity, Falco must only exceed a 10 or above to remove Peppy's collar successfully.

Peppy's collar simply uncurls itself off his neck and clunks to the ground as if it was an effortless thing. Falco's sharp and accurate wing motion gave the rabbit his freedom back. Peppy takes a moment to gather himself and smiles falling to his knees in thanks. "Falco! Falco how I've missed my old aching bones being mine to use again! Thank you my boy thank you!" He starts to cry out of joy. From his reaction it seems he has been mind controlled for an extreme amount of time. Not nearly as long as the others who have been freed previously to him. And surely longer than Falco.

Falco helps Peppy up as he drops the rifle and gives him a big hug. The two embrace eachother like old friends who haven't seen the light of day in ages. Falco gestures to Yumiko. "It was because this brave girl that I was able to save you. She got me free and allowed me to get you out of that horrid thing." Peppy waves hello to Yumiko. "Thank you from the bottom of my fluffy heart young lady! Why I am just tickled pink at what you've done for us!" The heartwarming reunion was cut short as Falco hears the gunfire and chatter down below. He looks down and sees Wolf trying to get away with some dangerous goods and a bloodied Scales as well as Andrew and General Pepper blasting away.

Banjo and Kazooie take aim and nail Andrew with a deadly explosive egg attack as Falco watches Andrew being blown back into a wall and crashing to the ground from the impact. It appears the hit connected, and connected hard. Pepper is still at the ready to keep firing not under attack from the incoming group just yet, but he does appear to be stopping the firing after seeing Scales and Wolf go at it a few feet in front of him. He didn't appear whether he knew to attack or not after seeing his puppet master get pummeled.

Back up above, with a deeper look Falco focuses his eyes downward and he sees Fox. "Fox? Is that really you?" He mutters to himself in disbelief. Looking around moreso, he sees Leon and Panther as well trying to fight Pepper and Andrew. As if almost to a reactionary level, Falco turns to Peppy and advises him quickly. "Peppy, stay here, pick up that rifle and use it as support for Leon and Panther against Pepper and Andrew. I'm going to jump down and get a hold on what's going on there!" Peppy nods rapidly and picks up the rifle pointing it down at Pepper and Andrew. "You got it! I'll fire at them if they get too gung ho those whipper snappers!" Falco pats Peppy on the back with a smirk and dives down like a bird of prey into the action.

He lands right in front of General Pepper and Andrew and calls out to them to cease fire. He puts up his wings motioning a stop signal. "STOP FIRING NOW!" Pepper didn't seem to be listening and Falco notices he is starting to ready his blaster for another shot as he puts his finger back on the trigger. Using his keen bird eyes he sees the attack starting and quickly draws his blaster firing at Pepper's collar to nullify him.

At the medium-close distance Falco needs a roll of 12 or above to free Pepper from the collar.

DEX Roll for Falco stopping Pepper p_1d20 +4 (Falco fires with great aim and busts the collar open causing it to fizzle out and fall of Pepper.)

Pepper feels his neck loosening as his collar cracks and pops and falls to the ground below. He feels around his neck and barks in surprise. "My goodness I'm myself again!" He yells to Falco. "THANK YOU ENSIGN FALCO! I'm in your debt old boy!" Falco salutes Pepper as a form of 'you're welcome' and leaves Andrew be for now as he recovers from Banjo's egg attack. The bird pilot then looks to Fox, and Fox looks to him, they give eachother their unique greeting of a raised thumb and turn it sideways. "I am so happy you are ok Fox....but we have one other friend that seems lost don't we?" Fox is overjoyed at seeing Falco in good health again and knows exactly who Falco was referencing and responds in addition to that comment. "Yes dear friend I know whom you speak of. Wolf...." Fox turns his body to Wolf and slowly begins to approach him. Falco nods and follows.

Peppy keeps a tight concentration in Wolf's general direction as well as keeping an eye on Scales through his rifle's scope in case anyone decides to try anything funny. Wolf was not going to get away so easily if that was his plan. Before Fox and Falco speak up against Wolf's actions as they close in on him, Yumiko and Banjo as well as Kazooie give him their support trying to prevent him from escaping with the Starvia drugs through positive reinforcement. Or something like that.

Wolf seemed to listen somewhat, but he was more concerned seeing Falco and Fox closing in on him like that. Out of fear he speaks out. "Not another step further or..." Wolf reaches into the bag of Starvia and takes out a canister of it and threatens them. "Or I smash this against the ground and we all get a good whiff of the gas." Falco and Fox stop in their tracks. Fox now talks to keep Wolf at bay. "Now now...it's time to stop the tough dog act and get back to normal with us Wolf. I think you've been out in the planet wastelands too long....you're lettin that stuff get to your head. Put the bag down. It's over now. Scales isn't going anywhere, I mean look at the poor lizard, you roughed him up good." Fox points at Scales showing Wolf how bad of a shape he's in as he grovels around in the dirt trying to get to his feet but failing miserably.

"Not to mention for the most part, we are all now free of Scales control." After Fox mentions this, Andrew is getting up from Banjo's egg blast and seems to now be collar free as he raises a hand in the air and chimes in. "Me too now, actually! I'm...I'm ok! That attack nullified the collar. So thanks...I guess? Blast it all, my space suit got dirty." Andrew looks down and dusts off his suit from that attack shaking his head. He was just grateful he was himself again and continued to allow Fox and the others to take control of the situation. Wolf remains in a hesitant and crouched position of caution. He had alot of power in his hands currently, and his brain was racing a million miles a minute.

Falco added some points in too. "We've been through alot together, you and us, Wolf. You wanna throw those memories and the little good you DID do away for what...a...fix?" Falco points a feather at the Starvia he has. Wolf snarls biting back at the bird's comment. "I'm not that twisted you imbecile! I'm just..." Wolf droops his head. "Tired of scrounging around like...some worm on this planet! These chemicals....I know the dangers....but if I could trade these for some way out of here...or some coin for good tech...I could maybe..." Wolf lets out a little whine. One of those whining sounds puppies do when their said or concerned.

"Maybe what Wolf...bring my father back whom you killed for another form of power? Hasn't your satiation ended by now? Haven't you had your fill?!" Wolf yelps fighting his emotions at Fox's statement. "I DID NOT KILL YOUR FATHER! Though I despised him with every FIBER of my being....I did not have the heart to KILL him! He was sucked into a black hole and blown away by Andross, whom as you know, was dealt with during one of the Life Sphere's first big invasions. It was his doing not mine....I was going to say..." Wolf takes a breath.

"If I could get out of here, maybe I could find home again. Back to the planet my parents raised me..."Wolf pauses in a short silence. "Find peace...again. And for once, not be fighting for a living..." He lets out a breath. "I forget what it's like to have family..." Fox and Falco look at eachother as if they feel Wolf's remorse. They slowly walk to Wolf to reassure him but it seems Leon and Panther have already beaten them to it and kneel beside their leader putting a soft hand on each of his shoulders.

"We are your family boss, we're always here for you!" Leon gives Wolf his full attention. Panther does as well. "Leon couldn't have said it better, Captain. We may have been separated once before, but we will never stop being your backup." Wolf starts to feel the love. "I suppose you're right....I don't need this anymore..." He tosses the bag away. The large syringe rolls out of it and lands next to Scales claw. As a last ditch effort he reaches for it with the energy he had left using his bloodied talon.

Special Roll for a Second Wind at getting the Starvia back p_1d20

Falco notices Scales greediness and once more using his keen senses jumps at the syringe and tries to stop Scales from grabbing it.

Falco jumps to Scales and crunches his claw with his boot causing the sinister reptile to yell out in agony. "BAAAAAAARGGG!!! BASTARDS!" His arm locks up and his claw curdles in a crippling pain. Falco then lifts the bloodied and woozy Scales to his feet and puts him in a pretty tight and bone crushing wrist lock. "Don't worry about this fiend, Wolf...you made the right choice sticking with us. This monster will be brought back to the Life Sphere and answer to Captain Falcon." "Scales huffs in detest. "Not him! I can't stand his constant racing babble and undersized helmet! How is his brain not mush from that thing anyway!" Falco wrenches the grip on Scales making him wince and twitch silencing his complaining.

Andrew and Pepper walk up to the group and shake hands. They all were feeling the same friendly vibes just happy to be free again. Each individual with different and haunted pasts, but on this planet, working together was all they knew. "I think we can go back to the Life Sphere now no?" Pepper was the first to give this suggestion that everyone was thinking. Andrew agreed. "What the old dog said!" Wolf looks around at all the support and then stops his eyes at Fox. He had to know. And he was going to ask it now. "I came here with this team to rescue you Fox, because I must know..." Fox tilted his head curiously at Wolf and was fully attentive at his rival's questioning. "Were you the one that saved me when I crashed on this planet, Fox? Did you pull me from the wreckage and get me to the Life Sphere? Because I could swear...." Fox closed his eyes and smiled. "Yes. That was me." Wolf's jaw dropped. And he staggered backwards in amazement.

"But...but why? Why would I deserve your mercy? After all these years...." Fox chuckled slightly and answered him. "Why do you think? It's because I saw this..." Fox walks up to Wolf and puts a paw on his old foe's heart. "And I didn't think twice." He releases his paw and gives Wolf a friendly salute. Panther and Leon remain quiet and watch as their Captain and leader is speechless. They were now seeing what Fox did in him....a change. "I think Andrew and General Pepper are correct everyone, let's go home...." With everyone safe and sound, Fox gives them all a minute to talk to eachother and ensure everyone is accounted for and allows them to check for any resources in the area they may want to take with them back to the Life Sphere before they depart.

Peppy comes down from the second floor of the bunker and stands beside Falco. "Shall I be the keeper of these...keys...Falco?" Peppy points a finger to the Starvia. Falco nods. "I think you'd be the safest bet to bring those back to E. Gadd, Peppy." Peppy sees the order as an honor and lifts the bag of Starvia hoisting it over his shoulder. "I will do just that my friend." It seemed everything was in order just about. Fox takes out his dino horn he had with him and blows it in an echoing sea of low toned noise.

The Daddy Red Eye and his little ones rush over to Fox from out of the cover of darkness. The sound pattern of the horn signaled safety and solace so they knew not to attack. The Younglings lick Fox's face in relief that he was in one piece and dance around him. The Daddy Red Eye kneels down and invites Fox to jump aboard again, which he does happily. Fox towers above the group once again as the Daddy Dino lifts him above the surface in a mighty pose. Almost forgetting his gifts to his team, Fox reaches in a saddled bag strapped to the Red Eye and tosses some dino horns down at the group, there were 3 others in total all crafted from actual Dino teeth and husks.

"As a thank you for saving me everyone, use these for a little aid in battle should you ever need it." From real once living dinosaurs via Dinosaur Planet, the group now had the ability to summon any dinosaur from the Red Eye tribe to assist them in battle.

Horn of The Red Eye

With this special horn crafted from the fallen Red Eye king of Dinosaur Planet, the user can call upon a nearby Red Eye creature from the wastelands of Li to aid in battle for 3 turns. The following Red Eye Creatures are possibilities to be called as companions:


Red Eye Raptor (Requires an accuracy roll from the user between 1 and 5.)
NOTABLE STATS: HP: 50%, STR: -1, DEX: +3, CON: +1
Attacks:
Claw Kabob - The raptor stretches out all talons from both claws and jumps at a foe raking them for 13% DMG. STR.
Raptor Roar - The raptor roars increasing it's STR stats by 3 for 2 turns. CON. 2 turn cooldown.
Leap N Lash - The raptor jumps at an opponent tackling them and clawing at their face. Deals 25% DMG. DEX. 2 turn cooldown.


Red Eye Pterodactyl(Requires accuracy roll from user between 6 and 10.)
NOTABLE STATS: HP: 40%, STR: -2, DEX: +4, INT: +2
Attacks:
Fly and Fleek - The bird like dino lifts a foe up high then releases them harshly dropping them down for crashing DMG. Deals 15% DMG. If the foe is a flying foe, this dino will treat this move as a grapple and toss them into the nearest hard surface.DEX. 1 turn cooldown.
Perilous Peck - The flying reptile will fly and then swoop down with its mighty beak pecking a foe where it hurts for 20% DMG and a 15% chance to paralyze. DEX. 2 turn cooldown.
Barrel Wing - With a rapid spin and drilling motion the dino will launch itself into a foe for big knockback damage. STR. Deals 30% DMG. Can only use this once per summon. If it misses it can be tried again.
NOTE: Any time within the 3 turns this creature is out, the user can also use it as a mount to fly places but it takes up one of its combat turns.


Red Eye Triceratops(Requires accuracy roll from user between 11 and 15)
NOTABLE STATS: HP: 60%, STR: +3, CON: +3, DEX: -2, INT: +1
Attacks:
Horn Thrust - The dino will rush a foe and stab them with its mighty horns. Deals 18% DMG. STR.
Trample - The dino will charge at a foe at great speed lifting its legs as it dashes as high as possible to tackle and trample the foe. DEX. Deals 25% DMG on foes laying on the ground. Deals 20% DMG on standing or sitting foes. 2 turn cooldown.
Mighty Hoist - Using its large and uniquely half-octagonal shaped head and horns, the dino will smash a foe with its head and catapult them into the air with a large heaving motion dealing a fantastical 27% DMG. STR. This can only be used once per summon. If it misses it can be tried again.


Red Eye T-Rex(Requires accuracy roll from user between 16 and 20)
NOTABLE STATS: HP: 80%, STR: +4, CON: +3, DEX: -3, INT: -1
Attacks:
Bad Bite - The T-Rex will dip its head down at the foe with open jaws and bite them viciously and relentlessly. Deals 22% DMG with 10% Bleedout ailment. STR.
Lockjaw -The dino will thrust its jaws into an opponent and keep a tight grip shaking the opponent back and forth like a rag doll. Deals 30% DMG. 1 turn cooldown. 12% chance to Paralyze. STR.
Stompede - Raising one giant foot in the air the dino will slam its leg down and crush any foe underneath it for a massive 35% DMG. This however will lower its DEX points by 2 for 2 whole turns and has a 2 turn cooldown. STR.

Fox now awaits everyone to make the decision to either leave or stick around and scout supplies. He would stick around and keep watch a bit longer if need be. The rest of the group seemed to be ok with sticking around as well should anyone want a second look. Wolf was still collecting his thoughts and taking in everything that was said by Fox and the craziness that the entire mission entailed. He watched Falco begin to escort Scales back to the entrance of the city with Peppy, Pepper, Panther, Andrew, and Leon following behind. He hoped the lizard maniac would be jailed for a long time to come and stopped from anymore plotting and brainwashing.

As Wolf sat in his own thoughts and the realization came that he almost ran off with a deadly weapon ignoring those that saved him, Slippy Toad seemed to have snuck on the scene finally making it to the bunker late to the party with his spider like invention to get him around and traverse the buildings for an alternate path to the action. He ended up arriving right at Wolf's location and leaped off a building behind him landing next to the thinking pirate. "Looks like I was late to the party, did things workout for the better? I saw Falco and the others detain Scales and look to be taking him back to the Life Sphere for his crimes. But the better question is, how are YOU doin pal?" Wolf stares up at Slippy from his now currently seated positioning and gives a blunt and exhausted answer.

"I've seen better days, frog....but I think in the end....I made the right choice." Slippy bends down next to Wolf and puts a gentle hand on his shoulder. "Whatever was going through your mind before Wolf, despite anything racing through the brain cells, I have no doubt, you would have made the right choice all along..." With a subtle pat to Wolf, Slippy shows that he cares. But he also was puzzled by something and asks Wolf another question. "By the way, were you ever brainwashed by Scales? You were missing for quite a while...."Wolf entertains the frog by answering him. "Yes. He captured me. But I escaped." Before Slippy asks how, Wolf continues his answer. "My brain is neurologically linked to my tank outside the city. I had a fail safe remote in my back pocket. When the tank's system can no longer track my brain waves or my heart rate, it will send me a jolt to reconnect me to its systems. That jolt shocked the collar off me and I was able to get the upper hand on Scales." Slippy seemed impressed. "Oh my! You're a smart one! I'll have to take a lesson from that book of yours. Anywho, glad you're ok dude." Slippy flashes Wolf a grin and with that, leaves him be to go reconvene with Fox. And now, despite it all, perhaps it was time for Wolf to reconsider some things.....

Ok everyone you know what to do, either make your next post your End Presence post or stick around and scout things out, talk to Wolf or the others, etc whatever you wanna do. We're pretty much done here and the earlier rolls prevented a Starvia Infected Scales from kicking all our butts. Consider this Ending A, not B. Haha.

Yumiko smiled when she managed to free Falco, who managed to free Peppy for her as the two thanked Yumiko for saving them as she took off the headband. Because something told her that she wasn't going to need it anymore. She can tell that Scale's had already lost given the state that Wolf had put him in and the fact that Andrew and Pepper were going to be free soon thanks to everyone else below the balcony. "No problem, if it wasn't for this, you would of been stuck for a little while longer. Thank god I timed everything just right to get to this balcony." Yumiko put the headband in her pocket and jumped off the Balcony with Falco and Peppy so they can reach everyone else.

Yumiko smiled as everyone reunited, including Wolf, who seemed to be convinced to come back thanks to Banjo, Kazooie and herself convincing him to not leave everyone behind. He explained why and suffice to say, Yumiko sort of agreed with him. Sure what he was trying to do was selfish, but giving the state the Life Sphere was currently in, everyone would want to leave Li.

But Wolf, like Yumiko, didn't have any family...At least, not until Leon and Panther comforted him. "I know what it's like Wolf, to not have any family here on this planet, but you have your friends and Fox. I can tell that you don't want to hurt him, or at least kill him, because you went all this way to rescue him." Yumiko smiled.

"Hell, without you we probably wouldn't even free Fox." Yumiko pointed out.

"But you're not alone on wanting to leave Wolf. Some of us here want to leave this planet someday and go back to our missing friends and family. I'm glad that your not doing it the selfish way, your a good person, even if you hide it most of the time. Plus that bag you got could even help us against the Starvia." Yumiko finished as she looked at everyone else. After Falco had managed to stop Scales from getting a starvia syringe, he was getting prepared to be escorted back to the Life Sphere for what he had done.

"That's what you get for kidnapping and brainwashing people." Yumiko scolded Scales as she watched him get escorted out of the city with the others. Yumiko was about to leave when Slippy appeared to look at Wolf. She might as well say one more thing before she joins the others.

"You did well today Wolf. I hope we all see each other again soon." She referred to everyone in the area, before looking at Banjo and Kazooie. 

"You two were great as well, even if you were a little bit snarky Kazooie, but I also hope we meet each other again soon. Thanks you two." Yumiko said her goodbyes to Banjo and Kazooie before leaving.

Having done her job for the mission and happy to know that Fox, Wolf and their friends were ok and that Scales was getting what he deserved. Yumiko enjoyed this mission, and it was her first real one too, not counting the incident at Crestfallen Castle.

As Banjo and Kazooie spoke to Wolf, trying to convince him not to run off on his own, they noticed something: Everyone else had been freed. Yumiko had a knack for removing those collars, it seemed. Soon enough, many of their allies, including Fox, Falco, Leon, and Panther, did their part by convincing him not to leave.

"Family, huh? ...Heh." Kazooie couldn't help but find it funny. Wolf, of all people, talking about missing his family. It was good motivation to leave their crappy planet behind and go somewhere else, yeah, but it was still weird to hear that coming from someone like Wolf.

"Wow, you two have an interesting relationship, huh?" Banjo pointed out. Fox and Wolf definitely had a complicated relationship, being fierce rivals but neither really hating each other. At the very least, Fox was very compassionate.

"Thanks, Yumiko. It was pretty fun. Thanks for all your help. Couldn't have done this without you." Banjo said, glad to have someone like Yumiko on his side during the mission.

"Yeah, thanks." Kazooie said, rolling her eyes. Kazooie didn't hate her, but she didn't really like being called snarky, even if it was true.

"Well Sha- I mean Wolf, thanks for letting us come along. See you whenever." Banjo said, giving a friendly smile and thumbs up before going towards the Red Eye that he had ridden before. He could tell which one it was due to a piercing wound on its chest that hadn't fully healed yet. Banjo carefully got onto its back, some new goodies in his possession, before stopping to speak to Kazooie.

"See? That wasn't so bad." Banjo said to Kazooie, showing that her worries were largely unfounded.

"Alright, I get it. I was wrong, you were right. You still owe me some spending money, though." Kazooie said, pointing out their deal from before.

"Sure, Kazooie. No problem."

It was finally over. The reign of General Scales making his mark on this shelter of a city has ended. No more fake SOS signals luring colleagues and friends to a trap. Though this planet is not kind, to anyone. And makes people do some crazy things. Wolf wouldn't be surprised if another vile personality were to take root here and once again stir a hornet's nest against the Life Sphere. Li was a cold, dark place, and incredibly unforgiving. Who knows what evil still lurked and who was plotting against the Life Sphere community out here.

Wolf wanted no part in terrorism, just survival. He was starting to agree with the notion that alliances and supporting one another maybe wasn't such a bad thing. He's been alone for so long, and to see Panther and Leon again was so refreshing to him. And to know they were ok is even better. And to get that closure he desperately sought with Fox, made him grow closer to him in a strange way. He saved his life. He saved...his LIFE....that will always stay in his mind after all he has done against the decorated pilot, Fox remained stalwart as a kind soul.

Wolf still had many of his own demons to tackle, however, and not every choice he makes will be the right one to someone out there, but that was something he couldn't help. Survival and treasure hunting was engraved in his DNA. He was a trained assassin, pilot, and bounty hunter. He couldn't just give up that life. Releasing himself from his long chain of thoughts, Wolf walks over to Fox on his dinosaur before he leaves and says a few final words.

"Fox...I want to thank you again....for what you did for me. You have a noble quality to you that I will never forget or take for granted. I wish you well, Star Fox. And I am sure I will see you around." Wolf extends a paw to Fox prompting Fox to jump down from the Daddy Red Eye and shake Wolf's hand gladly. "You're welcome. Know that I respect you and what you've been through, but also understand that I will always choose the side of righteousness. And if we cross paths again, I sincerely hope its on good terms like this." Wolf nods knowing Fox's path was one he would never stray from, as Wolf's was still somewhat of a jagged journey.

Wolf had promise inside him that one day he would reach a clear consensus on the kind of life he wanted to live, but that day has not come just yet. "Goodbye Fox. I'll cya around." The two release hands and Wolf turns his back to Fox, slowly walking back to the entrance of the city, until finally vanishing in the darkness of the decayed buildings and alleyways. Fox holds a moment of silence and closes his eyes with a smile. He mutters to himself. "Goodbye, Wolf." And after a few seconds, he hops back onto his dino, with it letting out a victorious roar, and they head out of the city as well following their team, with a deep sense of accomplishment that they did good work here.
