A tiny girl stands upon the precipice of a familiar land...

Little Arle quietly pondered the landscape. It was very familiar, but off somehow. She would need to get a better look before she could say for sure. But she had to waaaaait. Gosh, this stunk. Why couldn't she just go exploring on her own? ...Probably because her older self was too busy being responsible to let her have some fun. The only thing that made it bearable was the cute bird fluttering about her head. The fever bird had just recently returned from scouting the immediate area and danced about Little Arle's head, eliciting a giggle from the smol mage as she awkwardly attempted to reach up to it. The bird eventually landed on her head, satisfying her. Apparently, it hadn't found anything noteworthy. Hopefully someone cool would come join her. She could tolerate some good company right now.

Lucas is panting very badly. It took him quite a while to get here, after a long walk from the Life Sphere.

"W-where's *pant* every-- oh...! Y-you must be A-arle..." Lucas sighed while he walked to the young girl, "M-my name is Lucas, and I'll be your partner for this mission..."

He reached out a hand to Little Arle, waiting for he to shake it. "I-I guess we're investigating... that place.." he said while he looked at the landscape Little Arle is looking at, "... Does that place looked any familiar to you...?"

Amitie made her way towards the precipice to meet up with her allies. She was feeling very excited to go exploring uncharted territory, especially since she was going to see Arle after not hearing from her for a while. She bounced her towards her allies and--

Her smile diminished a tidbit once she noticed who was there. A blonde boy and an auburn-haired little girl. Whilst she liked meeting new people and forging new friendships, she was feeling a bit disappointed that 'Arle' was just someone who shared the name with her friend instead of her wishful thinking. It was a shame, but really, what could you do? Maybe another day she'd meet Arle again!

"Hello, hello~!" She waved at her new allies and got closer to them. "My name's Amitie, and my dream is to be a wonderful magic user! I'll be your partner for this mission~" she said before tilting her head at the two. "Lemme guess, the boy's 'Lucas' and the girl's 'Arle', hm~?"

The five year old turns to Lucas and smiles brightly at him. "Hi Luke-us." she replied. She wasn't strictly pronouncing his name wrong, but there was an odd delay between the two halves where she struggled a bit. "I dunno! I can't see so very--um... well from all'a'way over here. There's'a big statue that looks kin'a like Carbuncle though." Little Arle explained. She had a habit of slurring words together where it made them easier to pronounce. She then turns her attention to the ironically tallest of the group. "Oh--Hi Amimme!" Arle began ever so excitedly, the frustration in her eyes very briefly visible as she failed to pronounce the other's name. ...Perhaps Lucas she consider himself lucky. "I know that~!" Little Arle would go on to remark in a matter-o-fact tone. She then ran up to Amitie and promptly hugged her about the waist, mostly as a result of her height. "How's um... Ridah doing? I brought a map!" LIttle Arle would go on to ask, holding up a big piece of construction paper in her tiny hands. It was blank.

"Y-yes, you guessed it right... You must be Amitie..!" Lucas smiled softly at the other blonde figure.

He looked at the statue that Little Arle pointed out, "... A Carbuncle statue? E-erhm, sorry, but I have no idea what a Carbuncle is... Is it just a normal rabbit..?"

That's all he can get from seeing the statue. He is not familiar with this place, which might offend Little Arle a little bit.

"Huh? Whaddya mean 'you know'?"

Amitie was suddenly hugged by the smol mage. While she wasn't going to leave her hanging and hugged back in response, she was understandably confused that a kid already knew who she was. However, the mention of a certain name made things all the clearer, if only from Amitie's perspective.

"Ah, so you met Rider before? That explains it~! She's doing all right~"

Huh, now that she noticed, she was actually the tallest of the group. The tallest is usually the oldest...and the oldest is usually the leader, isn't it? Oh...oh, she was going to be the 'leader' for today? The blonde girl began to sweat a bit. She was now in charge of two little kids! She...she wasn't good at leadership!

"Uh...anyway, we're going to map this new place, right? Let's get going then~"

Little Arle was somewhat bewildered. ...What was Amitie talking about? She was acting almost like she was having an entirely separate conversation from Arle! ...Eh. It was probably nothing. Little Arle shrugs helplessly at Lucas in response to his question before proudly producing a blue crayon from her dress and holding it up for Amitie to see. "Yeah! I got everyfing we need~! Uum.. We're riiight here." she went on, awkwardly making a mark on the paper. One could imagine the map she was making wouldn't turn out very well. She wasn't even holding that crayon right, but she was giving it her best effort. "And the towel is right over there..." she went on, scribbling out a crude tower on the paper. She then began wandering forth towards the tower on her way past. Given her tiny legs, and how distracted he was, it would be hard not to keep up with her. "I'm a lil' essited~ What world are you from, Luke-us?" Little Arle remarked and asked as she moved. In the distance, one could observe a village...

"Oh?" Lucas noticed Arle's question, "I'm from somewhere called Tazmily Village... Nowhere Island... dunno if you've heard of it before..."

Noticing Arle's blue crayon, he went to searching in his pockets and pull out a red marker, "I can help doing the map with you, Arle..!" He scribbled on the edge of the paper a bit to make sure there's ink on the marker, "Oh..! What's that village over there...? Is it abandoned..?"

He glanced at a village from a far distance, which is quite near to the tower, "I think we might have to go through that place first..."

"Nowhere...Island? That sounds a bit mean-spirited..." Amitie commented on Lucas' homela--er, world. Who would name an island Nowhere? That was...highly uncreative. Amitie glanced at Arle making the 'map' and...well, let's say she was having a bit of a tough time trying to understand the drawings. "I think you should've brought something to draw better on the paper..." the Puyo-capped one suggested to the younger Arle.



The mention of a nearby village by Lucas sparked Amitie's interest. She tried to look on the same direction as the boy and..."Hey, you are right! There's a village there!" the blonde girl said in shock. "Should we check it out?" she asked the two kids.

"I tried my best..." Little Arle replied somewhat dejectedly. She seemed somewhat hurt by Amitie's words. She had been rather proud of her map! What did Amitie want from her? She was a five-year-old with a crayon, so this was about the best she could actually do. The map was complete for now, so she folded it up and reluctantly put it away and started wandering off in the direction of the village. Maybe she shouldn't bother trying to make a map after all...

"Yes, let's get going..!" Lucas starts walking directing to the village, occassionally slows down his pace for Little Arle to keep up.

"Nowhere Island is not a harmful place, really... it's just their name." Lucas explains, "Most of the island is quite peaceful, until someone taking over and ruin it." He keeps his story short though, no one wants to see him break down and stuff.

"Well, I think the village is swarmed with monsters now... and... *gulp* the Starvia disease..." Ah, he has been informed about the disease that spreads around Li. "I heard they make you feel like a maniac.."

Oh good, the little girl misunderstood what Amitie was trying to say. "T-that wasn't what I was trying to say at all! Your map's nice, but I think it'd come out better if you'd drawn it on top of something else, like a book!" she attempted to explain. Well, she could only hope Arle understood.

In any case, Lucas began talking about his homeland. "...And I was just talking about the island name..." Amitie said, almost sounding like giving up. What's with people misunderstanding her today? "...Someone took over and ruined it? That's horrible!" Amitie soon continued, now returning to her natural emotion output. "I'm sorry you have to deal with so much, Lucas...but hold on tight! There's still hope that everything will go back to normal!" the Puyo-capped one said to the blonde boy.

Little Arle perked up a little at Amitie's remark. She seemed to glow a little at the praise. "*Giggle* I'll make you uh copy! That way you won't never get lost again~!" Arle replied rather cheerily, Well, you made a five year old really happy, Amitie. That has to count for something. "We don't have'ta be afraid a monsters. I can take 'em~!" Arle then went on to remar rather sassily, only for something in the distance to catch her eyes. "...Hey, waiddaminute! I know this village!" Little Arle would blurt out, her eyes widenin in alarm. She abruptly sped off, running with alarming speed toward the village. It looked like she was too excited to consider the danger anymore. She didn't even bother stopping at the tower; it was probably for the best.

"It's fine, Amitie. My homeland is now peaceful as ever." Lucas slowly pulled off a smile... before noticing Little Arle is running in such speed.

"A-arleeee! Waaiiiit!" He quickly runs after the little girl, worrying about her safety. "Oh great, what if she got trophified? What if this kid's mother is in Li? Will she scold me and Amitie? Will she put us in court?!"

Amitie glowed a bit once she noticed Arle cheering up. "I'll gladly take that copy~" she went on to reassure the smol mage before continuing to walk towards their destination. The little mage soon began to boast about she could take on any monster, something that made the blonde girl giggle. "Don't forget you have company! If you're that strong, the three of us should have no problem with anything~" Amitie spoke, joining in the fun...

...well, as fun as they could get at this moment, because the little Arle quickly zapped towards the village. "Wh--hey, wait up!" the Puyo-capped one implored as she gave chase to the little girl. She hoped she had enough stamina to give proper chase. "We should stick together!" she said.
