The sky was very purple in the far off regions away from the Life Sphere. It would seem about night time if one was to give a wild guess. The icy path cut up the mountain, looking difficult to traverse. It is said this path supposedly leads to an ancient temple that holds a door with a great power at work. The path looked treacherous but getting to the temple was the easy part.

It looks like this way has not been used in a very long time. It was broken down in several key spots. But this should be no p0rblem for experienced youth. Colonel Mustard waited at the start of the path for his mighty group of heroes. What many perils await?! We shall find out.

How long had he been traveling? The sky had shifted from its normal tone and to something more ominous. That and the cold was something to be mindful of too. He wish he had brought along a scarf or beanie or something. Best to keep himself moving to keep body heat up. PAC-MAN ran up the snow-covered terrain, making sure to keep and eye out for this Colonel Mustard.

It took him a bit to spot him out but he eventually made his way over to Mustard. He was an odd fellow but Pac didn't judge him at all. After all, he was no different. A wave was given as a sign of "hello" before he turned himself towards the path before them. This was going to be something. A small look of anxiousness crossed his face as he waited about for the others; he wasn't wanting to freeze out here.

If he had been so inclined, Gallade might've Mega Evolved, just so he could get to where he needed to be, in time. Maybe even quicker. But, as the necklace with his mega stone beat against his neck in rhythm to his moderately-fast moving legs, he was thankful that he hadn't; Mega Evolving sure had it's perks, but, it could burn him out, if he weren't careful. So, he stuck to the basics, simply using his natural speed to get him where he needed to go.

The land was a blur around him as he ran towards the base of the mountain. He could've been passing by forests a few minutes ago, but, by this time, he was running past a lake. Soon enough, he could feel and hear the crunch of snow underneath his cylindrical feet. The cold might've bothered a person instantly; Gallade, however, felt fine. Not only was his rapid movement keeping him relatively warm, even after he stopped moving, it'd be a few days, at most, before the cold began to take it's toll.

When he started running, the sky had been a beautiful blue. As he got further out, though, and closer to his destination, he began to notice the was sky being prematurely taken over by a nightly hue. By the time a yellow dot accompanied by a tall figure came into his keen eye sight, the blue sky was completely glossed over with the darkness. A few minutes later, he slowed down, steadying his full-fledged sprint into a simple jog, before completely stopping by the two.

He looked up at the two of them. One of them was little more than a yellow dot with a face and appendages; it almost reminded him of a certain Pokemon he knew. The other was a man, a Colonel Mustard by what they were told. He was a Pokemon, so, he could only assume that he had worked with humans in the past. . .of course, that is, if Colonel Mustard was a mere human.

He greeted them, first, in his tongue: "Gallade!"

Then, they would feel a presence over their minds, and a forceful push on the very essence of their being. Should they resist him, and not open their minds to his thoughts, they would hear nothing; should they allow his presence, they would hear a calm, mellow voice, much like the sweet but serious one they heard from him a moment ago. Hello, everyone - do not worry, I will not go digging any deeper in your mind than is necessary for me to speak with you.

He decided to go and get that out of the way. People usually had a problem opening up to psychics, if for no other reason than a fear of them digging ever deeper into their minds. He wouldn't do that, though.

Daisy snapped on her second glove as she strode up to meet the others. She was relieved that she had taken the time to slip into her much warmer biker suit compared to her usual athletic threads. She had a sudden picture in her head of Peach attempting to climb Icicle Peak in her ballroom gown and found it hilarious.

"Hey gang," she said absent-mindedly to the others as she fidgeted in the suit, attempting to get comfortable. Then she remembered her manners.

"Uh, sorry Colonel... sir." She gave a quick salute to Mustard in recognition of his rank. "Still getting used to this whole 'citizen' thing. Ex-royalty and all that."

Colonel Mustard continued to stand there in thought wondering if any of them will ever arrive. Of course they will, it would be doubtful they turn out to be a no show.To answer his fears, the yellow sphere seemed to have made his way to the scene. "Good day, old chap. Seems we are the first here," Colonel Mustard responded to Pac Man with a wave. Then in the distance he could see some weird shape that must be that Gallade fellow. Colonel Mustard was a bit surprised by the telepathy but he has seen it so much it did not bother him. The comment about digging into his mind further did not help matters though. "... Quite. I do hope you restrain yourself if you can do that. I have thoughts I'd rather not have invaded, thank you," Colonel Mustard replied.

Then came the Prin- pardon, Ex-Princess Daisy as well. Splendid, it would seem they were all here. "Do not worry it none, Ms. Daisy. Your manner of introduction is quite common and I do not wish to burden you with extra manners than needed. I do not use the term personally, but Hey Guys is a perfectly fine introduction. Now, it would seem we are all here," Colonel Mustard stated.

"Now,  I need to tell you one thing. I assume you fellows are use to your own powers however sometimes you need an extra hand," Colonel Mustard said before pulling out a rifle, a large piece of rope, a shovel, and a purple book marked "Book of Endless Despair". "I am quite reliant on tools myself you see, so it would be quite handy if you hand me any items you see on our quest. Now, that we got that out of the way, let's be off," Colonel Mustard explained before walking down the path, assuming his comrades would follow.

Brief Tutorial: Colonel Mustard's use is heavily reliant on his current tools. You may ask Colonel Mustard to make use of these tools whenever it seems they would help. More tools may be collected along the way to increase his use to you but they must be found and not all are necessary, some may even be traps, so be careful.

The snowy path continues on down the road with the wind howling. If you listened for a second it almost sounded like there was something else but it is really hard to tell through the wind. Perhaps if you focus your senses enough you could detect something more in the wild.

Yes, everyone was finally here. Now to move forward! Or out of the cold at least...

PAC-MAN wasn't entirely sure on the fact of the whole mind speaking thing but he took his word for it. The other girl though... She seemed familiar somehow. Maybe he had seen her around the Life Sphere or something, he wasn't too sure. Less about them though. The Colonel seemed to be prepared with all the necessities. They could be useful later. This cold though, ARGH!

He looked to his left, snow, then his right, snow.  Ugh, he was going to freeze out here.  His cheerful expression dropped as he crossed his arms and rubbed them.  Colonel Mustard's footsteps would be followed after he set foot.  Now, that he thought about it, he did have a Fire Flower on hand.  The thought raised his head a bit.1d20

Gallade started, as the ex-princess Daisy suddenly made herself known behind him. He turned to face her, giving a smile and a wave of his bladed arm. When it seemed that Colonel Mustard was calling their expedition to order, he turned about to look back at him. He settled for extending his mental connection out to Daisy, as well, deciding that it'd be better to get to know all of them later on in the climb, rather than hold them up for his social hopes.

He studied over the Colonel; the leader of their brigade. The fact that someone as important as he was apparently limited to his supply of tools was. . .concerning, to say the least. I understand, Colonel. If otherwise necessary, I plan on trying to avoid to force you to use your items. he pushed, before deciding to be the one just behind the Colonel. If worst came to worst, he wanted to place himself between as many of his friends and the enemies as he could.

"OK, here we go!" Cheered Daisy, trying to maintain a sunny disposition despite the bone-chilling cold. She took this moment to glance around at her teammates. A spherical smiley face with arms and legs and a sort of... naturally armored... war beast. Hmmm. It seemed to be able to speak without speaking. Huh, interesting.

The wind howled, tossing Daisy's hair across her face. She absent-mindedly raked it back, and tried her best not to wince against the natural assault. She thought she could hear... maybe...
