[Maverick Hunter Zero]

For some strangely odd reason, due to the events of being inside a King Dodongo and having his trophy form being used as a battering ram, something seemed to cause Zero to snap, almost after he had been restored to his normal state, a surge of the Maverick Virus promptly shut the reploid into a Sleep Mode that could not even be explained by the medics, what was even stranger, was that this Virus was actively trying to corrupt the Maverick hunter from within.

With no other alternative, They had to seal Zero within his Hibernation Capsule, and ordered for someone to send for a specialist, quite Ironicly, it was none other than the Class 3 Beaurocratic Unit; Mega Man Juno, who answered the call.  The moment he saw the capsule and the slumbering Maverick Hunter within, he now knew what he would be dealing with and immediately put out a call for a group of heroes, as well as a collateral call to someone he heard about in case this Virus showed signs of resistance against the group's efforts.  afterwards he set up everything he needed so that he would be able to send the group within the Cyberspace of Zero's Subconcious Domain, where the culprit was possibly located.

Meanwhile, in a undisclosed location, Sword is walking home from a long day of terrorism when, "Terror, Mama Hippo got a call for PsyCo, and this is perfect."

"How so, Sword?"

"It relates to this virus I found out about. I need to send you since you are our dream expert."

"Kehehehehehe! Perfect, I vill be right there." And so Terror turned into a bat and flew to the destination point and examined the Reploid. "Kehehehehe! This vill be a cinch. In this state I can easily open up a portal to the Reploid's subconcious."

"Oh really? That is indeed quite good. I won't need to study how to dimension warp into a mind now," A voice says as Dimentio arrived. The Bat guy looks suspicious, but then again, people thought the same about himself.

The machine had actually calculated the possibility of Zero acquiring some sort of head trauma after his rescue. Dimentio seemed to have some sort of power trip with the Maverick Hunter’s trophy during the mission, so something was bound to pop up from it. A.I.M. chose to monitor this mission after it had heard word that its old teammates from the rescue operation were involved. With both the jester and the Jack Trio entering his mind, it felt it was required for it to come along. Whoever they were being partnered up with was not going to be monitoring the four of them (if you count the Jack Trio as three separate entities, which they sometimes didn’t seem like).

A.I.M. had been waiting within the hospital patiently for hours on end in anticipation of the mission and to make sure that if anyone was going to go inside Zero’s mind they weren’t going alone. Zero was already quite powerful (despite how many loses in the Sunshine Stadium might lead you to believe) and having a psychopath pilot him would not be something preferable. Once Dimentio’s familiar image passed by its optics, the robot followed.

The machine froze at the entrance of the room, analyzing the figure that Dimentio was speaking with. It took a couple seconds before A.I.M.’s data banks could come across a name that matched the image of the man bat. “Unit detected, subject: Antasma. Threat level: Unknown, proceed with caution.” While his threat level was not to be suspicious about since most are seen as unknown, but what Antasma was able to could be seen as a danger to Zero, especially if he was about to do what it calculated he would. “Unit Antasma, cease and desist. This unit has been approved to use lethal force if necessary.”

Time ticked on inside this poor traumatized robots head, and with each tick grew louder and louder a clock shaped portal opened along the ground alongside the group. With each tick of seconds, the clock came closer to striking twelve. And with twelve, The tall white clad figure came from the portal with stop watch in hand. Aeon, clock blade was currently in its blandest of forms, being just a large clock attached to the key ring on his suit. "Ah, seems im right on time." Aeon said, closing his stop watch and pocketing it. A pretty interesting cast of characters thus far. A robot, A large bat monster and a mystical jester. "Ah, so here we are. Aran's robot, Pi'illo islands very own nightmare king, the..." Aeon did not have any remark to make towards dimentio, as his time rift could not cover those of alternate dimensions."..Hm. Your a interesting case...Where could our other companions be. The Faries." Aeon said, questioning them. 

"Only time will tell, i suppose. I am Aeon, a wanderer of the time rift. Pleasure." Aeon bowed his entire body, arm following with his bow to show his gentlemanly behavior. Aeon adjusted his glasses, as he watched a scuffle as it seemed it would soon unfold between the nightmare king and A.I.M. Aeon had no issues with this, aim had to do what he was programmed for after all.

"OUT OF THE WAAAAY" was the first sound the group would hear of the fairies, answering aeons concern for there appearance as they landed face first on the grounds of zero's subconscious. First pyro jack softly landed, then jack ripper fell ontop of pyro jack, then jack frost fell on the jack pile to top it off. "H-hee ho!" called the little snowman, as he jumped up with his brothers. "Hope this robots ready for a serious case of brain freeze, because Jack frost and company are here and at your service!" Jack frost proudly presented, putting a thumb on his chest. "...Why do you get the name on it?! I should get to name it, i can call it blood...BLOODBLOODBLOODBLOOD HEE HEE HEE HEE HEEE LETS STAB THE ROBOTS LUNG SPINE!" called out jack ripper, as the two little imp's began smacking each other into a anime style cloud of smoke. Pyro jack, remains as ever, not amused.

Jack frost looked at antasma and...Ok, there was no way this guy wasn't a demon. "Woah, you must be one of those super rare super bosses, hee-ho! Like, the secret boss after the final one!" jack frost said. Apparently, the snow man was more than elated with antasma, looking at him as something like a super hero. A evil, demonic, super hero.

"It seems as though my call was answered after all. If you all are here to help this purifier unit recover from the abberant within, I would be able to send you in easily thanks in large part to one of my contacts. but it seems as though I am getting ahead of things and forgot to properly introduce myself. I am a class 3 beaurocratic unit of Elysium, you all may refer to me as Mega Man Juno." the Elysian robot said, opening one of his eyes to glance at the group consisting of a trio of imps, a human of unknown ability, a robot, a dimensional traveler, and a dream bat.

This mission is both challenging and possibly dangerous, but I think you can manage. You mus stop the source of this units virus infection, and enable me to safely extricate it from the unit. However, the virus seems to have come in contact with that nasty Starvia disease and had mutated into something much worse. I have decided to call this eventual discovery Starvia Virus Omega. Now if you are ready, Unit Antasma, please create a dream portal so the group of intrepid adventurers and yourself can enter this purifier unit to stop the virus. Juno added, actually givin the green light to allow antasma and the group to enter Zero's subconcious domain.

For some reason this jester reminded Antasma of his old 'friend', Bowser though he wasn't quite sure why. Some robot distracted him from his thoughts though that seemed very quick to issue threats. "You haven't checked your data banks recently, have you?" Antasma simply asked in his typical Slavic accent, waiting for his employer to point out the main one. Then there was a human looking guy that apparently had a fancy for time and somehow knew of his Pi'illo Island events. The fairy demons seemed to admire him for some reason. Did he really look like an ultra powerful demon? Huh, can't remember the last time he had a compliment not that his lengthy imprisonment helped that. "Quick to assume, aren't ve? The doctor called PsyCo's secretary and I'm the person to do the psychology that no other can. Shall ve get going?" Antasma says as he raises his arms as a dream bubble like portal opens up in front of the stasis Zero. "SCREEP! After you all, I need to close the after we all get in to stop it from getting out, SCREEONK!" ...Huh, Antasma thought he got a hold of his screeching noises, so unprofessional.

The Jester watched the scene between the robot and Bat as it was quite humourous of how he just bounced off the threat like that. The Time Traveler did not recognize the Dimension Traveler which was also humourous and then the fairies are here too. Looks like the world's best Rescue team is together again with 2 new members. "Okay, Dimension traveler first!" Dimentio said as the portal appeared and he dived into the portal... while still levitating.

The machine continued its stare down with the nightmare creature. A.I.M. knew he couldn’t be trusted and knew what he was able to do if given the opportunity. Apparently though the one who brought them all here, ‘Mega Man Juno’, hired him to get them into the mindscape of Zero. At the moment, Juno was the higher authority in this situation and that meant that he was their only chance to go in. The machine off centered its attention from Antasma and apologized for its previous accusations. “Unit standing down. This unit apologizes for threats to citizen. This unit will commence debugging application to find the flaw in logic.” That was its default apology whether it were true or not that is exactly what the machine would say with every mistake it made.

With the appearance of the rest of their ‘allies’ they were just about ready to enter the Maverick Hunter’s mind. It would seem that Antasma was not going to be the only thing that would be stressing A.I.M.’s processors, in addition the Jack brothers were hired to come along in their mission. Why people were hiring them at all was beyond the robot’s logic loops. It would have to keep its optics sharp this time around, as everyone here had an air of untrustworthiness. All except Aeon, some sort of clock centric warrior. He was rather proper in comparison to the rest of them. “This unit is named A.I.M.“ the machine returned a greeting to the gaudily dressed male. It attempted to copy the human’s bow, though of course its was much more robotic.

With the portal opened now, the machine followed behind the jester, watching his movements since past experiences showed he had little regard for Zero’s safety. Most notably the fact that he used him as a battering ram while he was unconscious.

Aeon chuckled at the faries who had finally decided to drop by. "Ah yes, the demons are here. Right on time i must add." He said, his smile ending quickly. Aeon walked with A.I.M into the dream portal, having a very regal and elegant pep to his step. Inside, aeon checked his clock and begun timing how long he would be inside of this dream world. He winded up his large clock, two extensions coming form it to represent that of a sword.  Aeon unhooked the Clock blade form his key ring, humming. "Let time decide how we go."

The small demons chuckled at antasma, considering the ultra demon there new mentor. Seemed this bat had a gang of admirers. "Alright, best rescue team reformed and back in action Hee-ho!" Jack frost yelled, then hopping into the portal with his nose plugged as if he was going into a pool. Jack ripper followed, chuckling lowly as he eyes down aeon, He looked human. Wonder if he bled human too. "Hehehe...murder, kill, kill, murder MURDER KILL I WILL MAKE SO MANY BRAIN SALADS HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEEHEHEEEE " Jack ripper yelled in plenty of psychotic love as he hopped himself into the dream portal. And like the angry baby sitter he was, pyro jack floated in with boredom a plenty. "Try not to break the robots mind...we spent that much work trying to save the guy."

That much was true, as ghostly visions within the Maverick Hunter's mind were from when Zero had been constructed by Wily, his abrupt awakening by Reploids that he killed before his more memorable memory, the knock-down, drag-out brawl against Sigma, then came the memories of when he aided the Maverick Hunters in their war against Sigma, culminating in the very real deadly struggle against Lumine.

But somehow, these memories were being corroded by a presence that was truly monsterous, possibly more than the group knew. "Who dares enter this hallowed ground? Speak or forever hold your peace." came a voice from out of nowhere, which echoed around the group as they found themselves facing a statue of what appeared to be Zero, only there were more than one on the same statue.

One of the zeros on that podium looked like a genuine demon but was not even moving It looked like a cross between a digital program and Darth Vader rolled into one, the other two Zeros on the podium appeared to be the current Zero that the group was in, the other apparently looked like it was a younger variation of the Maverick Hunter, possibly what he was destined to look like in the very near future.

but behind the statue, towering over them, seemed to be another statue, it was life-like in appearence, but was still as a statue, If A.I.M. trained its optics in the figure behind the Zero Statue, he would sense that it was indeed alive, and that it might be even taller than bowser if he was not standing fully erect. Another difference was that it was carrying a very long Beam Sword, there didn't seem to be a face on this figure, but one thing was certain, this 'statue behind the Zero Statue' was the target.

Antasma was somewhat surprised he had fans. Perhaps he could gain their help for his greater goal sometime. After everyone was in, Antasma turned into his bat form and flew in and closed the dream portal through the Dream World. Its a good thing he got that wish to open Dream Portals anywhere he wants. Antasma in the dream world was accompanied by several black and red orbs. These orbs were a powerful part of his abilities, granting him buffs and heals by eating them as well as being able to capture dream entities like Dreamy Luigi. Unfortunately, the virus did not really count, so he can't exactly use that. However Antasma felt a disturbance in the subconscious even with the voice adding to it. There was statues but one had this aura that just screamed 'vhat is this, it should not be here," Antasma picks one of the orbs levitating around him while giving time for people to take in the sights and ate 2 of the orbs as he began to glow with red and green sparkles increasing his defense and power while two 2 new orbs take their place. "SCREEEEEOP! Don't be a covard, shov yourself. SCREEEEEENORK!" Antasma said after absorbing his orbs' powers.

"Glad you could come along, Mr. Roboto!" Dimentio said as he saw A.I.M. was the first to follow. Dimentio looked around at the sound of some voice, though he did not paticulary see something out of place. "You are nothing compared to the greatest rescue team!" Dimentio replied to the voice.

 Antasma Note: Orbs of Nightmare Might: Antasma's Offensive skills, Wisdom and Strength all have been increased for 5 turns.

The machine was given quite the eyeful as it ventured into the domain that was the inside of the Maverick Hunter’s mind. For whatever reason the android had his mainframe decorated with statues of himself. If the machine had a sense of humour it probably would say something like “why am I not surprised?” but the calculating robot made no comment of the like. It instead began scanning them to detect if any were in fact a life form or just a monument to Zero’s arrogance. It was mostly a precautionary loop in the machine’s systems in order to be as safe as possible.

Before it could actually evaluate the situation, the jester spoke up aiming his commentary toward the machine. As its new manners protocol dictated the machine, it had to at least return some sort of words or gesture to acknowledge that it heard Dimentio clearly. “Affirmative, none of the current units can be trusted to lead this expedition. If this unit would have passed up this offer its on board computer would have overloaded with errors stemming from the decision” it answered as it continued to scan the statues.

Yet another speaker interrupted the ROB rip-off’s attempts as whoever it was began to threaten the group in some form of high and mighty way. The machine analyzed Antasma and the Jack Trio first, making sure that it wasn’t some sort of trick they were playing. Unfortunately that was not the case, despite the fact that the machine aimed its optics at the bat creature. A.I.M. didn’t trust anyone of these adventurers, but the Jack Trio and Antasma were at the worst end of the stick. The robot couldn’t go against its programming to attack them just yet though, as they were still seen as integral to the mission for now.

A.I.M. detected something odd from one of the statues, its suspicions were correct to analyze the statues. The faceless one seemed to be alive, and that probably meant nothing good. While it was Zero’s mind and certain things should not be tampered with unless completely necessary, the machine concluded that it probably wasn’t something friendly. “Potential threat detected, be vigilant toward the statues.”

Hastened padded feet scampered through the hospital hallways. A white blur whipped by counters and rooms until eventually it came to a rather popular one today. Skidding frantically, claws clicking and scraping across the floor, the wolf slowed and made her way into Zero's room. She was just in time to see the last of the hero party disappear into a portal. Without a seconds hesitation Amaterasu continued in her run straight into Dimentio's portal to chase after the band.

Her pace met an abrupt halt when the sun goddess came into the strange domain. Flashes of ghostly images and confusing terrain. Was she even standing on anything? Looking down it seemed no was the answer but soon enough the images stabilized. Noting the firm structure beneath her paws her attention moved up to view the rest of the area. Just up ahead were the others, surrounded by various statues that held a resemblance to the robot they were here to save.

Amaterasu quickly trotted up to the bunch announcing her arrival with a soft bark. Unfortunately she had missed the godly voice that had just boomed down at the rest of them thus was unaware things were already starting.

For some odd reason, the silence from the voice seemed to only make itself scarce, the reason being that their target had now made itself known with a growling roar. "Be on your guard, for your enemy is very near..." the mysterious voice said, before it became silent and the monstrous entity began its assault.
