The bull dressed individual continued to traverse over the rough terrain by acting even rougher toward it. The hyper winds continued to grow stronger, if not evident by the way his cape was violently flapping. The man scowled and unhooked the piece of fabric so that it couldn’t interfere with his goal. His target seemed to have a grip that locked itself onto one of his guardian escorts. He was so close to be sucked in that Black Shadow only needed to nudge the midget man in order for his plans to succeed. It was not the way he wanted it, but it would be coming nonetheless.

“Ha ha ha, your ally seems to be fairly disobedient. The two of you sound like such bickering fools, how have either of you taken over this planet. It is almost insulting” the voice of Black Doom boomed in his head yet again. “He’s still in there? How long do you think you can stay in there?” the man questioned aloud again, though the winds were probably disguising his words. “For as long as it is necessary.”

The black bull wasn’t going to allow the trio to escape, not when he was this close. He revealed his feet and began to charge directly at them. His footing was a bit off as the winds attempted to yank him right off the ground, but he continued to truck forward like a semi with no brakes. Aiming directly for the nobody that he saw Mr. L as, he wanted to knock both him and his prize over in order to offset them.

As the Luigi look-alike was surprisingly able to handle the sucking power of the vortex, Mr. Game & Watch attempted to observe his surroundings. He was unsure how he was going to get out of this one since the black hole seemed to be getting stronger and stronger over time. In fact he noticed a small boulder be absorbed into the darkness. The bull also seemed to be gaining ground on them, readying to knock them both into the portal with his titanic horns.

Mr. L was unsure what to do. He was sure he could feel the vortex getting stronger. He needed to get out of there faster. Taking a back glimpse he notices the Shadow Bull looking like he was about to charge. This could be his chance, he just had to screw Black Bull up. Mr. L returned his Flat Clinger's grip with one hand as he turned back around and faced Black Shadow. Mr. L realized there was a way an ace platformer like him could get out of here faster. He can keep his weight focused on the ground by doing shorter jumps by forcing his weight back to the ground to move with more agility. His opponent, if anything like Captain Falcon, was most familiar with car racing and while he is fast, he would not be as agile as someone that was skilled in getting through uneven terrain. Fighting against gravity was more the Mario Bros did best afterall.

Mr. L's green scarf flowed with the suction in a dramatic flare as a glint was in Mr. L's eyes. Mr. L began quickly short hopping backwards and surprisingly did not seem bothered by the increasingly strong current. Mr. L was able to move faster than Black Shadow due to not having his balance trouble. He needed to seal the deal though, as he was quickly making ground he used his free hand to fire his missle straight at Black Shadow. While normally questionable, one thing may come as a surprise. Due to the missiles being based on the Brobot's they are immune to gravity or pull and will fly straight unless deflected. Mr. L's goal was to make Black Shadow lose balance, whether it be poor footing due to a dodge or a straight up hit, he was aiming to make the slower Black Shadow get knocked into the suction.1d20+4

Wolf watched apprehensively as Mr. Spandex Bull began charging at Mr. L. Fortunately, Mr. L appeared to have the situation in hand, hopping backwards and firing a gravity-immune missile at the horned menace. The canine would have fired his blaster but as the bolts are plasma-based, they would just get sucked into the vortex. Knowing that melee combat was also out of the question, Wolf activated his Isaac Assist Trophy, hoping it would also knock their antagonist off balance.

The charging bull was met with some heavy resistance from the trio. The rocky path was already tough enough to cross as it was and the force of the vortex was nearly strong enough to pull the man straight off the ground. If he was any lighter he’d truly be walking on air, but fortunately his muscle mass was equal to that of a bull and it was enough for him to struggle to keep a correct footing on the ground. Basically, he was on a crash course and either way he would eventually be absorbed into the black hole.

As Wolf activated his assist trophy, the clone of Isaac popped out both feet firmly on the ground at first. The being didn’t take notice of the severity of the fact until it was far too late, but he was still able to launch one of his force hands directly at the masked villain before he was consumed into the black void.

The ethereal hand barreled toward the horned man as he closed the gap between himself and the struggling duo. He dove at them as the rocket nearly nicked his knees, but the energy hand knocked his hands just enough out of reach from the Luigi double. The vile man was now in a state of freefall, the vortex pulling him back. As he passed by Game & Watch though, he swung one of his head horns at him as a last ditch effort before being taken away from his prize. Unfortunately, he merely skimmed the 2-D man’s leg and was absorbed into the abyss.

That just left the three of them to cling on for dear life. Whatever was on the other side, if there was even another side, it didn’t seem like something they’d want to see. It was unknown just how long it would continue to be this way, but one thing was for certain it was starting to get even stronger. The earth began to be picked apart, clods of dirt being mixed in with the darkness of the portal. Even bits of the crashed star craft began to be sucked in. All there was left to grab onto were large stone jutting out of the ground, only being unaffected due to the fact they were made of a larger structure underneath.

Mr. Game & Watch continued to flap in the wind like he was a part of Mr. L’s scarf. There was really little he could do besides hold on. One false move and he would most likely be trapped in the turbulence of the portal and learn what was on the other side. While it could be the villain’s base and he would gladly tear it up for the sake of the notoriety included, he felt he might not be ready to face that challenge. Save it for his birthday.

... Well, this was still fairly bad. Getting around was going to be difficult with this stupid thing. A rock seemed to be rooted and Mr. L got an idea. Mr. L put away his rocket launcher away and ran for the rock while making a call, "Brobot Activate Remote Control: Operation Annhilation." This idea he was not sure about but it was the best he could come up with. He ran for the rock and used thunder fist to force his hand into it and twisted his punch direction so his arm was throughly stuck. That should handle that for a it at least.

As Mr. L was making his mad dash, heavy steps would be heard as the Brobot L-Type was coming for major support. The Brobot aimed at the wormhole as it was slowly being sucked in with its heavy Nintendium and Metal armor and began to let loose all its ammunition forcefully into it. Then when it was close enough it would overheat and explode very close or inside the wormhole, science was not always precise. The idea behind this plan was to potentially collapse the Wormhole with enough force.

Wolf was glad that the horned villain ended up in the vortex but had no desire to end up in there himself. He fought his way over to the rock and managed to wedge himself in between it and the side of the pit. Wolf peeked round the edge of the stone structure and watched with amazement as Mr. L summoned his "Brobot".

The vortex continued to rage with its astonishing force of pull, the area that it was above began to shift as though it was about to be ripped from the earth entirely. Before the slab of land could actually have been absorbed, a new ‘face’ entered the battlegrounds and not a moment too soon at that. The war mech fired off a heavy amount of rounds straight through the portal, each bullet gaining more speed and power as it was pulled in by the gravitational current. What it came down to, it was not a good time for anyone that might be on the other side of that portal, if there was another side.

As the titan got closer to be sucked into the void it vanished and reformed into the clear blue sky, dropping everything that it would pulling prior to its disappearance. As the dirt clods and small boulders rained back down onto the landscape, the Brobot self-destructed. It seemed only a split second after the portal ceased in existence, so one might assume that it was the Brobot’s doing, but it could easily be theorized otherwise if the one in question was being observant of their surroundings. Given that some were busy clinging for dear life, it seemed like less of a possibility.

Though, Black Doom's return to Wolf's mind seemed to suggest otherwise. Not that he ever left that is. "Bwahahaha. Your ally has done quite a bit of damage to their base. Their not out of commission yet so I suggest you leave. Now. They speak of reopening the portal to catch you by surprise. The flat creature cannot be apprehended by them by any means necessary."

Mr. Game & Watch finally let go of the masked man’s gorgeous scarf, almost not wanting to due to how glorious the fabric was, but the fan was supposed to be the one groveling, not him. The thin being brushed himself off as he scanned the area once again. It was way messier than previously, but on the upside his dig site was a bit clearer of rubble. It was a mess sure, but there was less clutter than previously since the vortex absorbed a good majority of the rocks and dirt that stood in his way. By the looks of it though, his query was nowhere to be seen. Well, time to move onto the next dig site. The flat man then began to waddle out of the pit and scouted out for the next place that seemed most fruitful to search.

As the vortex disappeared and GW ran off, Mr. L breathed a sigh of relief. However, he knew this was no time to rest. They may attack again and Mr. L needed to secure GW and escape before its too late. The pieces of the Brobot teleporting back to his lab so he can repair it, Mr. L blew up the rock his hand was stuck in with his free arm. Mr. L looked back to the flat target, it was now or never. Mr. L quickly ran at Mr. Game & Watch at full speed only appearing as a Green and Black Bolt of light as he attempted to grab GW as securely as possible so they can leave as soon as possible.

Wolf squeezed himself out of his hiding place as he heard Black Doom's voice in his head. "That sounds like a good plan. There's just one problem. Mr. G & W's done a runner." The canine mercenary sprinted after Game & Watch and Mr. L, hoping he could warn them before it was too late.

The flat man took a leisure stride as he pondered where he should go next. There still so many places for him to check out and yet he still didn’t even know if his transport home was out here. For all he knew it was on the other side of the planet. So long as he was a free man though, he needed to search, any area has the potential to hold it. It had to be somewhere. When he did find it though, he wouldn’t have to deal with these three dimension world problems, only the ones in two.

Game & Watch probably should have been more aware of his surroundings since his life was already threatened once today, but the being usually had that sense of carelessness about him. A sort of blissful ignorance to his own safety, sometimes more than others. Though he wasn’t aware that he should be paying attention until the green powerhouse attempted to take him down. Well, comparatively just about everyone was a powerhouse next to Mr. G&W, the big nosed man was as thin as paper after all. Mr. L overpowered the thinly man fairly easily. Man, this guy really wanted an autograph didn’t he? Well, he should have gotten one while his booth was open, save his life or not the guy had to have a fair opportunity like the rest of his admirers.

What could he do to get out of this man’s grip? He already exhausted his transformation, they were on the same ground, and he didn’t have a counter move to a grapple. Bubble shields don’t cancel grapples either, so he could screech and squirm. The flat man went off like an early morning alarm clock, the snooze button seeming to be very difficult to locate. He rustled about in the scarfed man’s hands, but couldn’t do much. Oh wait, his whole body was a weapon, he forgot about that. His head morphed into a deep sea diver helmet and he tossed it backward, aiming to hit the masked vigilante in his giant nose.

“Then take him out. He’ll struggle less in his trophy form” the creature suggested to Wolf exclusively.

Unfortuantely for the Flatzoner, being a mechanic had its perks. By that,  we mean he was pretty much accustomed to being around loud noises a lot. His scarf was being pushed this way and that in the struggle. What was up with this guy? Mr. L just saved his life and he's being both ungrateful and unhelpful. Mr. L was a little surprised by the sudden head transformation. Mr. L fortunately had quick enough reflexes to move his nose out of the way but it did partially hit his cheek. However, it was not enough of an impact to make Mr. L loosen his grip. That said however, getting back quickly may be an issue. "Hey, Wolf, do you got any ideas on how to settle this guy down?" Mr. L asked, not really having any ideas as he maintained his grip.1d20+4

Wolf winced as Mr. Game & Watch's screeches assaulted his sensitive ears. "Nope. Black Doom suggested that we take him out so he'll be easier to carry, which would be perfect but we aren't supposed to harm him. We have to think of something fast, though, because that loony with the horns wants G&W so bad he's gonna try to reopen that vortex." The furry mercenary, as last a last-ditch effort to get the Flat Man's attention, put his fingers to his lips and whistled as loudly as possible.

The guy still wouldn’t let go. What did Game & Watch have to do in order to get this obsessive fan off of him? He wasn’t even sure what Mr. L even wanted out of him. Settle him down? What for? It’s not like he summoned the spandex man, why was he being treated like a criminal? He was beginning to question whether these two were really fans of his or some sort of bounty hunters, the Luigi looking one was using some fairly hands on tactics and he was dressed like he was ready to rob a bank.

His thought pattern was disrupted when the canine whistled, piercing whatever substitute he had for ears. Was that what it felt like when he beeped in someone’s ear? He was starting to feel somewhat bad for the people that he done that to now, though only the ones that seemed less deserving of it. Mr. L didn’t really fall into that category. Sure, he saved him to some extent, but currently he was attempting to put him into some sort of master lock and asking for favours regarding settling the flat man down, he seemed sketchy.

Something Wolf said caught his attention though, the vortex was going to open again. He didn’t know where or how the canine got this information, but as he looked back to the pit that was once their battlefield he began to notice a black cloud forming over it again. If it was a fight, Mr. G&W would have no issue with it, but he didn’t want to deal with that black hole again. Not a chance. The thin figure managed to slip his sleek figure out of the man’s grasp and began to flee, returning to the direction of the Life Sphere. He supposed he’d done enough digging for today.

Mr. L was worried when he heard the news from Wolf. He figured they would attack again, but ANOTHER black hole? He looked back and saw the cloud as his grip loosened and the Flat Man ran off. "Well, he looks like he's heading back to the Life Sphere and favor of avoiding that again. We should get going too, Wolf, I do not have another Brobot to waste," Mr. L said. running to the direction of the Life Sphere. Though it wasn't exactly by their means it looked like the flat target was persuaded to head back. Besides, Mr. L had to inform people about Black Shadow apparently having control over starvia with posession of those bugs as well as the whole Black Hole Vortex thing.

Wolf looked over his shoulder at the dark clouds forming over the battle field. Black Doom was right. "Yeah. I don't have anything to fight that vortex either." The canine followed Mr. L and the Flat Man and headed back to the Life Sphere as well.
