[Mr. Game & Watch]

The black bird’s single tail was not enough to hold both the light weight fighter and Luigi’s clone, the thing’s tail was already bending in an unnatural manner and it was specialized in speed, not strength. Which left the two of them to plummet toward the earth once more. Fortunately for the two of them, Mr. Game & Watch was always prepared for such descent and after about two meters of drop distance the chute blew open. Now the two were lightly rocking back and forth as they slowly descended. G&W allowed his hanger to come along for the ride, might as well give his fan the experience of a life time.

The Black Hawk zoomed out of the cloud, U-turning over it and locking eyes on the flat man once more. Its body did not seem to have any sort of dark aura that infected creature would usually sport.

Black Shadow’s smirk turned murky. How could his cloud possibly fail at infecting either of the targets? Mr. G&W made sense since he was made of the material used to create shadow bugs so they probably couldn’t possess him, but the other creature was a simple alien bird! “Ah, your curiosity amuses me. We are genetic perfection! You think your plague will do anything to us!” the being mocked within the black bull’s mind. In a sudden burst of rage, the bull stomped on Black Doom’s old body and began to grind it into the ground. “Such a useless outlet for anger. Those bodies are disposal, just like yours.” The man wailed in laughter. “How long did it take you to come up with that one?!” he questioned in outrage, seeming as though he was speaking to himself.

Black Shadow summoned the three infected creatures that were brawling with Game & Watch not too long ago and morphed them together into one gigantic Plasma Wisp. It flew after the two of them since their floating was making them basically a stationary target and attempted to grip them into its mighty disembodied hand.

As for the other two Plasma Wisps, with their target fleeing after G&W that gave them only a few different options, join the chase or take down the other enemy they had, Wolf. Well, unfortunately one of them didn’t have the right to a decision as it was once again sucked into the vortex Mr. L had created, being absorbed into the spin cycle for the second time in a row. The other one though was able to bypass it and charged after the canine. The being approached him, it snatched its brethren’s trophy and tossed it like a javelin at the mercenary, already knowing that energy based projectiles weren’t going to do much.

Mr. L was relieved that he would overweight the alien bird but everyone talking to themselves was confusing him. Were they going crazy or... The starfish has telepathy and is ignoring the Green Thunder?! Well, time to show Mr. L is not something to simply ignore! Mr. L had an idea to escape the giant wisp and bird at the same time. Using the Missle Launcher he did not get to use before, he aimed it with his free hand at the wisp's eye. Not only was it a big target, he was hoping it would get it to flinch since it was such a vulnerable spot. Whether or not it hit, it was time for phase 2. Mr. L shifted the weight to his pilot's left, since Mr. L was considerably heavier than his flight attendant, they should quickly drift in his direction making the Alien Jet miss and fly straight into Mt. Plasma as well as hopefully letting them escape the crushing Plasma Canyon as if it was a bull charging into a stadium wall. If the bird alien was built for speed, he doubted it would have good turning.

Wolf saw a few of the remaining Plasma Wisps meld together to form one gargantuan Wisp. He rushed to help his friends fight the jumbo-sized Plasma Wisp when he felt something hit one of the two remaining Whimsical Stars. Wolf turned around and glared at the offending Wisp, who had thrown its comrade's trophy at him. The canine mercenary pulled out his blaster again and fired at the Plasma Wisp.

[Mr. Game & Watch]

The gently cascading Game & Watch took his flight with ease. Sure there was danger all around him, but what was he going to do? He supposed he could flip some bacon at his enemies, he had no other long ranged weapons and anything else would require him to let go of his parachute. Wait, he had a Star Rod, he almost forgot. He whipped out the little fairy wand and began to fire stars at the massive plasma creature while his co-pilot took control of their path, leading them back towards the crater. It was a good plan, Game & Watch still had some unfinished business and once they stomped the rest of these clowns he could return to it.

The Black Hawk was dead set onto its target, unfortunately though a slight deter from the parachuting duo was enough to escape from its weak graspy-tail. Instead, the mighty bird cawed and veered directly into the astral body of the Wisp creature. The searing pain of the electricity radiating off the creature’s body was batting against the scaled bird until it exited through the other side, a tiny bit of smoke flowing off of it. Despite this, it blasted another pulse from its wings at the giant ball of plasma and then continued its pursuit after the flat man and his escort.

As for the colossus, it had a ton of fire heading its way. More than it would like to deal with. The first order of business it had was to make sure that Mr. L’s rocket launcher would continue to be ineffective by splitting itself in two like some sort of ameba and let the rocket sail right out into the distance. Someone somewhere was going to be surprised by that missile. It did not remain split for long as they reattached to be at full power, only to be pelted by stars and some form of radiation. It turned toward the fleeing parachuting duo and released a couple dozen balls of electricity out of its body that began to follow the two of them until they would impact.

Black Shadow kicked aside Black Doom’s carcass yet again and went on the pursuit of the descending duo from the ground. His eyes were locked onto them, jogging at a leisurely pace in anticipation of when they would be close enough to attempt something.

The Plasma Wisp instantly found punishment in attempting to attack the canine creature. Both the whimsical star and a laser from Wolf’s pistol were heading straight for it and there was absolutely no way for it to dodge in time without getting incredibly injured. The creature took the bombardment, and luckily the star was not the strongest of the group. Though, it was unsure of just how much more abuse it could handle. It charged directly for Wolf, though this time evaporated into some form of electrical cloud and caught the mercenary within it. The Creature was no more, but in its sacrifice it made the landscape more dangerous for its enemy, electrical shocks striking him from all around.

Finally, the last of the Wisps was freed from the winding whirlpool. It also disappeared so that it couldn’t become trapped within it yet again. It had its eyes directly on Wolf, shooting a plasma bolt at him like a little kid would when playing cowboys and Indians.

After the semi success of his last plan, it would seem Mr. L's brain was not able to think as fast. How could he dodge the plasma? And the Alien Jet again? As well as the Shadow Bull? ... There was nothing he could do but hang, the Plasma was probably too big to... Wait, plasma... Plasma is weightless as well as almost massless since it was only energy and light! Thanks to his knowledge of electricity, he may be able to counter it even though it was almost too late. Mr. L put away his missle launcher to free his hand and then fired a Green Storm vortex to suck up the electric plasma balls, however since he hesitated a bit of the plasma still struck him while it was being absorbed and the plasma was whipping out. Reaching back into his pocket he pulled his blaster. The Alien Jet was flying and had no resistance to currents so he was hopeful the vortex may take care of it too. However Shadow Bull was still leisurally strolling toward them, a delay may be in order. Aiming with his laser was mostly for precision. From his burn he aimed at the Spandex Guy's knee and fired. He was not too worried about armor since he doubted the spandex would block concentrated light and energy, but him dodging though a slight delay, not big enough for him to hope for.

Wolf was triumphant as the Plasma Wisp evaporated. But his triumph was short-lived as the mercenary soon found himself inside the cloud and was being shocked repeatedly. Fortunately, the shocks were relatively small but still powerful enough to cause Wolf to yelp in pain as he tried to escape the cloud. When the canine did finally manage to get out of the cloud, his fur was standing on end from the shocks and a plasma bolt was speeding towards him. Knowing that the bolt was probably drawn to his static charge, Wolf allowed the bolt to hit his final Whimsical Star and hoped the electricity in his fur would soon dissipate.

[Mr. Game & Watch]

The wand wielding stick figure could see the path to their descent, it was actually a lot closer to them than before. In fact only a couple more seconds before they hit the ground. Good, Game & Watch was getting tired of this air based combat, it was about time to go toe to toe with Mr. Spandex and get his hammer dirty. Speaking of which, he was getting awfully close, even Mr. L figured that one out. Might as well help the guy out, his life was on the line too. The flat man fired another star at the black cladded man.

Black Shadow’s eyes were dead set on the parachuting duo, they only detracted when he noticed their onslaught of fire and followed the bolts as they came closer. His bubble shield formed around him and deflected both bullets. As the shield popped though, he leisure pace changed to a full on sprint. The two were finally in range so he took this opportunity to yank them out of the sky. The muscle bound bounty hunter leapt off the ground with the weight of a being made of rock and soared toward the two of them with a form of flying drop kick.

As though the Plasma Wisp was commanded to do so, the colossus quit its pursuit of G&W and focused more grabbing the Black Hawk. The disembodied fist did just that and began to crunch the bird within its fist until finally throwing it to the ground like some sort of rag doll. Afterwards, it seemed less interested in chasing after the duo and more so interested in gaining the lead. It flew high into the air and shot forwards like it was being launched from a sling shot and began to slowly descend in the way of the parachute’s path.

The last of the whimsical star charges shot out toward the last of the Plasma grunts and exploded against its body. Luckily for the creature it was the weakest of the three and did very minimal damage toward it. With Wolf’s defensive barrier now dissipated, the Wisp charged at the creature with no hold bards and attempted to swiftly pummel the canine into commission. This technique of fury punches was perfected by Knuckle Joe, and while the Wisps were not proficient in this style of fighting that didn’t berate this move’s effectiveness.

Mr. L's Gambling Luck was really paying off as he was quite prepared for Black Shadow's attack. Mr. L seen there was little avoiding Black Shadow's attack with his quick deflect and his sudden sprint. He threw Game & Watch out of the way since they were near the ground as Mr. L dived out of the way and did a flip to quickly get back to his feet and pull out his Missle Launher and fired it at the Spandex Menace. However, Mr. L had things on his mind and decided to discuss and fight. "So, Shadow Bull or whoever you are, how are you controlling the Starvia? Are the infected able to be controled by their generals like the Subspace Army, and if so does that mean there is some force like Tabuu controlling it?" Mr. L questioned. As talkative as he seemed. he was hoping he would spiel some beans like a stereotypical bad guy.1d20+4

Wolf watched as the last of his Whimsical Stars hit the Plasma Wisp. Unfortunately, it did not damage the Wisp, but enraged it instead. Wolf saw the angry Plasma Wisp charge with a desire to pummel him. The canine mercenary braced himself and attempted to kick the Wisp away from him.

[Mr. Game & Watch]

Mr. Game & Watch’s landing was not nearly as graceful as Mr. L’s, mostly due to the fact that he was tossed aside like he was the parachute and not the operator. He tumbled against the ground until he made a natural stop a couple feet away from the Luigi clone. In an outraged manner he picked himself up and waddled over to his aggressor. Such actions were unnecessary, especially if he was a true fan of his. Before he could shout his distastes though, he had to duck underneath the rocket that the man was launching at the black menace.

The flying dive kick from the bull dressed individual caused the being to continue soaring through the air until he landed safely within the palm of his mighty Plasma creature. The ghostly being swatted the missile with its other hand, talking the brunt of the damage while keeping its master from harm’s way. The titanic beast lowered itself to the same plain as their opponents and revealed the spandex man once more in its gloved hand. His eyes didn’t land on the Luigi clone, but he still replied to his question. “He wants answers?” the black bull quizzed himself. The colossus drop the man onto the ground and reverted to its original three beings. The Plasma Wisps quickly created a circle around the two, their hands going behind their backs.

Black Shadow’s hoof-like feet made a loud thud as they impacted against the ground. A wicked grin was plastered on his face. “These are my children, I wouldn’t be a good father if I couldn’t control them!” the man announced yet again, though blatantly dismissing anything else that Mr. L said, yet again seeming to disregard him almost completely and not even looking at him directly either.

Without warning, the three Plasma Wisps shot super charged bolts directly at the duo in the middle of them. No doubt they were given plenty of time to create some friction among themselves as Black Shadow gave off his very vague words toward the group.

Wolf, however, wasn’t a part of the group circle and neither was the Plasma Wisp he was fighting (or attempting to at least). His foot went clean through the creature’s electrical based body, though didn’t injure it in the process due to it not having a physical body. Another static shock would shoot through the canine’s body due to the contact with the being. The creature attempted to grip Wolf’s leg and lob his entire body over its (non-existent) shoulder.

Well, that did not answer L's question at all. He did not believe all this father and family crap and quite frankly he was starting to get irritated that these guys were treating him like he did not matter. Seriously, this guy was such a sarcastic jerk, personally, this narrator is offended. Ignoring the hurt feelings of a disembodied speaker, Mr. L was quite annoyed and he was thinking too much to dodge quickly let alone get Game & Watch out of the way. Mr. L quickly attempted to jump out of the way though he felt the force of the shocks as he jumped through it and rolling along the ground. This man's guardians was really irritating, as Mr. L recovered, he shot another shot at Black Shadow. Even if he had someone block it, he would still hit something unless it missed entirely. Mr. L wanted answers but it looked like he wasn't getting any.1d20+4

Wolf soon found himself in a pickle as his foot went right through the Plasma Wisp's body. The canine yelped as another shock went through his body. Even though the rubber sole of Wolf's boot nullified the shock a little, the mercenary could still feel it and it made his fur stand on end again. He growled and fired at the Wisp with his blaster as it tried to throw him.

[Mr. Game & Watch]

Mr. Game & Watch wasn’t the most nimble in this situation given that he had to listen to the blathering of the black dressed one. He wondered why Mr. L even bothered question the guy, he was clearly out of his mind. Mr. G&W had always been a good judge on people who weren’t mentally all there. Much like a good cook could tell how well another chef’s work was done. He too took all the bolts directly to his body and he ended up next to the Luigi fake’s impact zone. He liked his fans and all, but he didn’t care for being with this guy for the entire fight. He seemed to be like the bull’s eye on a dart board. The wolf guy looked like he was faring better, he only had to deal with one wisp.

As the Plasma Wisp grappled Wolf, it took the beast’s blaster directly to its ‘face.’ The space between its eyes to be more specific. The creature flinched from this, but continued its plan of action, tossing the canine haphazardly into the pit alongside his fellow mercenary and the Life Sphere’s very own hero. It would make them all so much easier to hit if they were all in the same place.

The rocket barreled toward Black Shadow like it had previously, despite the fact that the scarf wearing individual seemed to not be very proficient with the weapon. Another of the Plasma Wisps dived into the line of fire before the missile came close to the fiend, taking its own life with it. As the smoke dissipated from the impact, the bull cladded man revealed himself once more, with a disappointed frown and shaking his head. “Why must he always harm my children.”

Soon afterward though, what looked to be another black cloud formed above the sky yet again. This time around though, instead of spewing some sort of substance it slowly began to absorb everything. Dirt flung off of the ground and went directly into the black hole, the force of the pull became stronger and stronger over time. Black Shadow gazed upon this turn of events in disgust. His finger poked at his ear yet again. “I’ll have your hide for this one. I told you to standby!”

With the Wisps being fairly massless, they were the first to be sucked into the vortex, Black Shadow dug his feet into the ground and began to stomp his way over toward the location of the three. Mr. G&W nearly lost grip but latched onto Mr. L a spilt second afterward. The current was beginning a tug of war between them right about now.

Mr. L quickly held his ground as he felt the a black hole like thing trying to draw them in. Apparently Black Shadow expected this twist as much as they did according to his reaction. Game & Watch was holding on to Mr. L as if he was some tree in a rapid wind. Mr. L was securely weighted to the ground due to his Plumber boots. How does this help you ask? Well, with as much crushing these shoes do, they must be filled with lead or something else heavy. How the Mario Bros run and jump around everywhere with such heavy shoes shall forever be a mystery. Mr. L knew however Black Shadow was out for blood or something so Mr. L decided it was probably time to get out of the area of this black hole thing. Mr. L turned opposite Black Shadow as he quickly trudged, not at his normal speed to avoid being drawn in, but still fairly quickly due to being used to being weighed down but still agile.

Wolf let out a yell as he sailed through the air and heavily in the pit next to Mr. L and Game & Watch. The canine mercenary glared at the Plasma Wisp but before he could do anything, a black hole appeared out of nowhere and began sucking everything into it, including the remaining Wisps. Wolf snarled and tried to fight the pull of the vortex. Being rather heavy-bodied gave the canine an advantage but that didn't stop the current from tugging on him. Wolf dug his claws into the ground while keeping an eye on Mr. Spandex, who was making his way towards them.
