It was a normal day in Rainbow Square.

Xion was hanging out with Kairi, shopping for some apparels here and there, until Xion noticed something from the corner of her eye. "Mm?" she tilted her head as a orange tuft was waving from one of the corridors until it leapt out, revealing...

"Woof!"

Xion pauses at the little creature popping in her field of vision as her eyes seemed to get a little bigger. A squee escapes her mouth as she rushes over to the Awoofy, wrapping her arms around them. "Kairikairikairikaiiiriii! Look at them! They're so cuuuuuute!!" she gushed as she snuggled the little fella. The Awoofy is a bit confused by the affection, but they reply with a very enthusiastic bark before licking her cheek. "Haha, hey, that tickles!" she giggles at the response, becoming briefly unaware of a shadow encircling both of them...

Suddenly, a cage descended upon both of them, both Xion and the Awoofy looking at the iron bars surrounding them before said cage was then hoisted up by a group of crows. "Hey, what's the big idea?! Let us go!" Xion said, trying to break free with her Keyblade as the Awoofy whined and curled up in fear.

...and then, the cage seemingly just vanished out of sight.

In Brightwing Lane, a bunch of crows with cages were chasing down Rock, but the blue bomber wasn't exactly making this easy for them. He was pelting the many birds that came towards him with the portable confinements with his Mega Buster. "I dunno what you want from me, but I'm not gonna let out catch me!" he said, narrowly sliding away from one of the descending cages and replying with a Charge Shot.

Mega Man resumed running, however one cage suddenly dropped in front of him, forcing him to stop. Then, two cages dropped to both sides, and one in he back. "Tsk. Only one way left to go..." Rock said to himself, as he suddenly jumped forward--

--only to land exactly in a cage prepped to get him. Now he wished he had a way to dig his way out instead. Rock tried to bend and break the bars with his arsenal, but nothing seemed to be working!

The cages then all suddenly vanish, taking Rock with them...

In Harvest Acres, a little lady obsessed with love hummed a melody as she fashioned a flower crown. She turns to look at Rafisol, who was resting near a tree. With a giddy smile, she finishes the flower crown, and starts moving over to her twin-of-sorts sneakily...

...at least until she noticed a bunch of crows with a cage hovering over Rafisol.

"Rafisol, look out!" She warned, prompting the cyan-haired twin to open her eyes and see Ally pushing her out of the way of the cage she didn't notice. "Ally...!" Rafisol spoke as the cage began to be raised up. Ally, after a moment, grabs her pendant and tosses it to Rafisol. "Here! Go to Her Highness! She'll help you!" she said to Rafisol. "...I'll be alright, Rafi--" Whatever more reassuring words Ally had, they had vanished, alongside her and the cage.

Rafisol stared at the empty space Ally was before. ...what was this tight feeling on her chest? This...hollow feeling in her stomach? She did not like this feeling. She needed to find Peach. Find Arle. Somebody. She needed help.

In Toad Town--

"AAAAAAAAAAAAA GET AWAY GET AWAY GET AWAAAAAAY!"

A frantic maid was accidentally sweeping rows and rows of these crows with her fancy katana. She pants exhaustively as she forces an eye to open, letting out a relieved breath as she notices how there was no weird crows around her anymore. "Oh, whew! Finally, I can go back to--" THUD! Suddenly a cage is around her as she was speaking. "OH COME ON! Just when I got the courage to talk to heeeerrr--!!"

Poor Melody's pleas were silenced as she was warped away just like the others.

Five cages were teleported to a weird cave system, only faintly illuminated by some vague lights on the walls....and Rock's eyes as soon as . "Oooh...where am I...?" Melody asked. "--Oh, hey, looks like I'm not the only one that got captured by these weird crows." Rock said. "Um...Any injuries?" he asked semi-awkwardly. "No...but why are we here?" Ally asked. "I wish I knew. Though I doubt it's for anything good." Xion replied, the accompanying Awoofy whining again.

Suddenly, a bright aqua green light suddenly began to shine on the far center, prompting the captives to turn to it. A big, red...thing stood in the center of the light, looking almost...amorphous. "Who's...?" Xion bega to ask, only to be cut off by a weird...feeling on her head.

'Welcome...generals.' A voice suddenly echoed in their minds. 'Prepare to join the Beast Pack. We have much to do.'

Before most of them could voice much of a completed protest, a wave of psychic energy suddenly traveled through them, all of the captives just...slumping down afterwards, as if any resistance was sapped of their very being. Their eyes then gained a bright red color, as a rumbling chuckle suddenly echoed in their minds...

"What is it, Xion?" Kairi asked as the other seemed to notice something while they were out doing shopping. She looked over to notice the small orange furry... thing? She wasn't sure what that was. She was... honestly impressed how quick Xion took to something cute but shows that girl taste is in her too. Kairi giggled before coming over and kneeling next to them. "They really are. Are you lost?" she asked. Not going to lie that this thing was adorable. She was about to give it some attention to before a shadow caught her attention but it was too late as Xion was stuffed into a cage with the cute animal.

"Xion!" Kairi called as it flew higher up. She quickly jumped twice into the air and reached out to try and reach the cave... Dropping her outfits rather quickly in the pursuit. Still her reach wasn't enough. It was amazing how fast crows can fly holding a cage of two... "I gotta get to them!" she was about to summon her wings before she was suddenly slammed from behind. She flew back into a cage of her own, losing her breath as the metal bars hit her back hard and the cage slammed shut. She was captured too?! She tried to push against the bars as she shimmered a bit with a faint glimmer before it would fade. "Why can't I slip through?" she questioned her body not working right before the cage poofed away with her still in it.

She had to adjust a bit to the sudden darkness as she was thrust into a cave system from the looks. Xion and the animal were here too. Her brother was also here... Ally and a... girl she did not know at all. "I'm fine, Rock. My back is just a bit sore..." Kairi replied to her brother. Why did they go through all this effort to kidnap them though?... Actually if the other three was like her and Xion it probably did not take much effort at all. Which was a thought that frustrated her to which she tried to activate her body of light and faze through the bars again... Only pushing against them and straining quite a bit. She stopped pushing herself as a light filled the room and a... weird thing appeared. She was about to question it like Xion before her light faded and she held her head. She fell back as she tried to fight it but it was much too powerful. Generals? Beast Pack? She didn't know what was happening but her strength to fight it was gone rather quickly. As strong as her light was it was not really a defense against psychic energy.

While this was happening, a bit earlier...

A star portal opened up in Toad Town and a blue creature was thrown through and landed on the ground. A big lionoid hand gripped the sides  of the portal and climbed his way in as well. "So, this is the planet we're looking for?" the large lion asked as the portal shut behind them. "Y-yeah, it is... I can feel it..." the blue creature nodded as it flew up. "So my pack is somewhere on this planet as well..." the lion mused. "Yeah, I think so... Look, Leon!" the blue creature pointed towards a cage led by crows containing someone in them flying up before disappearing. "So it's this again..." Leon muttered. No way of knowing where that cage went on their own... and he was the only one of the two capable of fighting. While he can hold his own fine, it's best to be prepared when he has an escort to protect... Just then he noticed a large blue bubble in the distance. If their theory was true they needed help... "Come, Elifin. We need to acquire a temporary pride," Leon said simply as he began walking to the Life Sphere. "But what about-?... Oh, right, coming!" the blue creature flew behind Leongar to get aide and report their findings.
