History On Li: After being thrown into Li after a friendly spar against Sagat, Ryu...took it rather mildly. He was no stranger to being in other worlds. Superheroes, cyborgs, aliens, you name it. He was no stranger to helping out for the greater good. After all, he defeated M.Bison, putting a stop to Shadaloo for good. To Ryu, they were just another challenge to test his skills. Ryu been fighting in the stadium, and taking on missions to help out...
...until his last mission involve the challenge he had yet to overcome: Akuma. The last he recalled, Akuma came at him, and everything was a blank. Ryu awoken alone where he last fought Akuma, figuring that he was trophitized and awakened by some local who didn't bother to see if he was alright. Ryu felt weaker now, yet new skills awakened. Now he's going to try again and face other challenges Li can throw at him.
Primary Attacks (3)
Basic Atk 1- Ansatsuken/Shotokan: [Light to Heavy DEX DMG 5-18% combo] Ansatsuken is the name of his fighting style, which is a assassin karate style. But he was taught in Gouken's version, which is a non-lethal verity, so the name is misleading. Sometimes, it's known as Shotokan.
Basic Atk 2- Focus Attack (Mind's Eye): [CON Counter DMG] Ryu focuses all of his willpower into a perry to take advantage of an opening. If Ryu rolls a higher roll against an attack, deal double the damage of the attack's damage. 2-turn Cooldown.
Basic Atk 3- V-Trigger (Satou no Hado/Mu no Hado): Ryu embues his fists with electric energy (Mu no Hado/The Power of Nothingness). Increase STR and DEX by +3 MOD each, and his special attacks switch to their “EX” variation. However, if Ryu HP is below 30% or he suffers status effect: Fear, Berserk, he becomes Berserk (if he's not already) (Satou no Hado/Surge of Murderous Intent). Lasts for 3 turns, 5 turn cooldown after the move ends.
Special Attacks (3)
Special Atk 1- Hadoken: Ryu’s signature projectile, an energy ball exuding in ki, which deals STR 10% damage.
EX variation, Shakunetsu Hadoken: A fireball that gives out STR 15% damage with 25% chance of burning. This version has a 1-turn cooldown.
Special Atk 2- Tatsumaki Senpukyaku: Ryu spins like a hurricane in midair (leg and feet first) into the enemies around him. The attack can strike multiple enemies at once and makes Ryu move forward, and it deals DEX 12% damage.
EX variation, Shinkuu Tatsumaki: Ryu spins like a hurricane in place. Deals 16% damage.
Special Atk 3- Shoryuken: Ryu delivers a devastating uppercut that takes both him and his foe up on the air, dealing a handy STR 15% damage.
EX variation, Shin Shoryuken: A 3-hit attack with a punch to the gut, a punch to the chin and finally the uppercut, dealing 19% damage overall.
Final Smash (1)
-Shinkuu/Denjin Hadoken/Shoryuken/Raging Demon: Ryu uses an extra-powerful, extra-large and extra-fast Hadoken. If close to an enemy, Ryu uses a powerful version of the Shoryuken, sending the enemy skyward. Both deals STR 35% damage.
If Ryu uses the attack while in V-Trigger condition, Shinkuu Hadoken becomes electrified, turning into Denjin Hadoken. If under Berserk, this becomes Metsu Hadoken which may hurt allies (in that case, a 1d20 roll your allies must beat). His Shoryuken becomes Raging Demon, where he teleports to a close target, then the screen blacks or whites out as then the target is relentlessly beaten, as showcased by a series of flashes. All these deals 40% damage with 5% of stunning the enemy and ending the V-Trigger prematurely while adding 1 extra turn of cooldown for V-Trigger to be used again.
