The Best Moment You Had Playing The Series: Playing team battles with my friend for hours and hours to unlock stuff. Oh yes, and unlocking Sonic!

What SHOULD Have Been In The Games: A bigger character roster, obviously, and a longer co op story mode.

Number One Desired Idea You Want In The Next Installment: More characters, more co op modes!

Other Comments: I can't wait for the next game! Something tells me sakurai is gonna blow us away even more than before.

The Best Moment You Had Playing The Series: it was utter chaos and I had no idea what was going on...then I grabbed a cracker launcher and in some way that I have no Idea how, I won.

What SHOULD Have Been In The Games: Starfy, and plusle and minun should have been in brawl as a duo.

Other Comments: Starfy NEEDS to be in the next one. Maybe his kingdom , pufftop , will be included as a stage?

The Best Moment You Had Playing The Series: When a couple friends and I did the black hole cheat in melee, if you never heard of it try it out it's interesting.

What SHOULD Have Been In The Games: an option to be the Master Hand, it would be ridiculous, but it would be the best thing in any game ever.

Number One Desired Idea You Want In The Next Installment: A much longer and more in depth story line for adventure mode, it was awesome, but I know they can do so much more with it.

The Best Moment You Had Playing The Series: Me and my (former) best friend used to play this all the time. I used to rent it every weekend, and every other or so, he and I would play. That was the original.

What SHOULD Have Been In The Games: Right now? Mega Man. Or X. They have a place there now, since it's no longer exclusive to nintendo-only characters!

Number One Desired Idea You Want In The Next Installment: Again. Mega Man. Or X.

Other Comments: I miss Brawl.. I still have Melee, but I like Brawl better.. The disk got scratched badly.

Well friends, it's here, the next installment of Smash Brothers! Here is what we know from E3:

Three New Characters Have Been Announced:

-The Villager(Animal Crossing)

-Mega Man(Mega Man Series)<--- AWESOME!

-WiiFit Trainer(WiiFit)<--- Ok WTF. This is obviously a dud character and I am assuming is replacing R.O.B. or compensates for a bigger roster.

A new storyline is in place. Obviously from the trailer a new story of some kind seems to have formed.

There will be a Smash Bros for 3DS AND Wii-U.

Both versions will be entirely different. I am assuming both mean different characters as well? Who knows but hearing the confirmation that they are unique in their own way is awesome news.

The release date is set for a 2014 release.

Sakurai doesn't want the fan base to stalk the progress and thus has decided to be very quiet about updates.


And so, there you have it, all I have gathered so far about the new installment, anything I'm missing? Thoughts?

I've already seen enough whining about her from Tumblr, tbh. It's already getting old.

But it's just hard for me to get my head around it I guess. I think Sakurai just wants to prove it's not how cool the character looks or their popularity, it's all about surprises and making the unexpected, work essentially. I am looking forward to seeing the different playstyles from each new character, and seeing the masses calm themselves because Sakurai always puts out quality stuff regardless.

Yeah, exactly! I honestly think she's going to surprise us. I'm just seeing a lot of people being so excited about the Villager from Animal Crossing. Let's be fair here, there's no real difference between him and the Wii Fit Trainer. They're both blank slates who aren't suited to battle - although the Wii Fit Trainer has a canon advantage. She is a fitness trainer. You'd expect them to have some expertise. I think she's going to be funny and powerful. I mean, she's big and likely heavy (tall with lots of muscle mass), but unlike other large, heavy characters, she's going to be fast. Of course, the only way to know for sure is to play it when it comes out!

The Best Moment You Had Playing The Series: When me and my uncle stayed up till like 6 am finishing the entire storyline and unlocking all the characters. Good times.

What SHOULD Have Been In The Games: I would have liked a bit more voice acting in the storyline maybe?

Number One Desired Idea You Want In The Next Installment: NO. MORE. TRIPPING. I cannot tell you how many times I fell into a bomb because of tripping.

Other Comments: I'm really excited about all the new characters in the upcoming game, especially the Wii Fit Trainer! See guys, this is what I love about Nintendo; they take chances without giving a fuck of what anyone says :3

The Best Moment You Had Playing The Series: When i was younger, me and my cousin had a fondness for the legendary Pokemon. finding out he was in melee was astounding and thus we made a solemn vow to strive for the character to change our lives. Eventually we never reached his unlock because...i dunno probably our parents said we were going out for Chinese and we said forget godlike Pokemon, sweet and sour chicken where its at. I still remember those days...Meeeemmmoorriiieeess

What SHOULD Have Been In The Games: More third part characters would have been fantastic.
