Backstory



History On Li: After the crazy mission to the Lady Lucutopus Casino and a dangerous first lesson in fellow psychonaut Hollis Forsythe's mind in which Razputin Aquato had made some, changes in order to let Raz and the rest of the Interns go to the Casino so they can help out in the mission. Sam was excited to begin learning about how to become a psychonaut with her assigned mentor, Coach Oleander.

No sooner did she begin her lessons that Oleander had given her first assignment, which was to bake him some pancakes. Hearing about an abandoned diner near the Psychonaut headquarters, Sam headed there, and after making a deal with a few forest animals near the Diner, began making some pancakes.

It took her all night and she had made a few accidents, such as dropping a few pancakes on the dirty floor or using the wrong ingredients because the animals that she was working with gave her the wrong ones, but she had managed to make some pancakes and hoped Oleander wouldn't be suspicious that they didn't taste right.

However once she left the diner, her pancakes were quickly eaten by a starvia monster who smelled them, which Sam quickly defeated. She soon realised that she wasn't in her world anymore and that she was on Li.

However to Sam, she became excited about learning in a new place and thought that this was the kind of experience that Oleander was going to put her in the future. So she marched off towards Li, to continue her training in becoming a psychonaut.

Even if it meant working by herself instead of with a Mentor now.

Primary Attacks

Blastokinesis: Sam can summon explosives to blast enemies using her mind to conjure them up. (WIS) [DMG 18%]

Telekinisis: Sam can use her mind to pick up objects before throwing them towards the enemy. (WIS) [DMG 17%]

Marksmanship: Using her hands, Sam can shoot psychic energy towards her targets. (DEX) [DMG 16%]

Special Attacks 

Zoolingualism: This ability allows someone to talk to animals, for Sam however, she summons a woodland critter to throw something heavy towards the enemy, despite whatever animal that she summons throwing different objects towards the enemy. (Trash for raccoons, acorns for squirrels and seeds for badgers.) The damage they deal is the same. After throwing the object the animal leaves and Sam won't be able to call them again until two turns have passed. (WIS) [DMG - 26%]

Mental Connection: Sam summons a powerful psychic rope using her mind energy to burn and tie down the enemy. Because of the power this attack takes on her mind, Sam will have to wait until three turns pass before using this attack again. This also doesn't cause the enemy to get the burn status effect. (WIS) [DMG 28%]

Super PSI Punch!: Sam summons a giant fist which she controls using her mind to smack the enemy. Since this is a powerful attack, Sam will have to wait until three turns pass before summoning the fist again. (WIS) [DMG 30%]

Final Smash - Mental Esmerelda

Sam summons her favourite animal from her mind, which is a whale named Esmerelda to help crush a group of enemies. (40%)

Sam also has the ability to use telepathy as well to send out psychic messages to her teammates.
