Princess Morbucks
Home Planet/Origin
Alignment: Neutral Evil
Motto: "My daddy buys me anything!"
Allies/Friends: Her parents, mainly
Enemies/Rivals: The Powerpuff Girls
Backstory: Link
Appearance:
History On Li: Dropped onto Li with many of their possessions damaged by the wormhole style portal that brought them there, Morbucks and her family were for the first time in their life poor. The money they did have was no longer. This ugly reality made life very hard for them over the next few months. However her father, having quite a bit of experience in the military / business, was able to find work in the black market and dipped his toes into making things happen for powerful people using knowledge and tactics.
While their old money remained useless, they eventually did bounce back with a new influx of coins. With the new technology available, Princess Morbucks was able to have her battle armor reconstructed more cheaply than before, as well as invest in new technology to 'defend' herself with. She took her arrival on Li as a chance to become popular with a whole new crowd, not even particularly minding that much because of the bad reputation she earned back home. Whether she can actually accomplish that remains to be seen.
Primary Attacks (3)
Martial Arts: Kicking and punching'll do the job fine in a pinch. (Light-Medium Str Attack; Does 5-18 Damage)
Tiara Boomerang: It's pretty sharp and flies pretty hard! If the target fails their dodge roll by 6 or more, the attack does double damage representing them being hit again as the tiara returns. (Medium Dex Attack; Does 14 Damage)
Plasma Blaster: This goofy looking handheld blaster discharges large amounts of plasma at incoming attackers, acting more like a fireball cannon than a gun. Because of its large output, it requires frequent reloading of new energy cells. It can hold up to three energy cells in the chamber at a time, and it costs an action to replace 2 of them. (Heavy Dex Attack; Does 27 Damage)
Special Attacks (3)
The power of money: Morbucks travels with an allowance of 1,000 coins (Clarity: Fluff coins, not real coins that can be used for site purchases). At any time, she can refresh her allowance back to its full value by making a phone call to her father and requesting more at the cost of 3 actions. She can use this allowance to buy consumable upgrades for her kit. Whether she buys it on the spot as per the My daddy buys me anything move or already has it on her person and bought it previously is a matter of fluff, but coins are only deducted mechanically when she actually invokes the enhancement.
- Enhanced Weapon: Morbucks buys an enhancement to one of her weapons which lasts three turns. Boosts the damage the weaepon does by 8. Costs 200 coins
- Deflector Ring: This ring, when slipped on the finger, projects an invisible forcefield around the wearer that resists any attempt to touch them, granting a -8 damage taken buff on all physical attacks. Costs 200 coins
- ESP Blocker: This device, when activated, emits large amounts of psychic 'white noise' like a swarm of weirdly intelligent insects buzzing about, their thoughts incoherent and aggressive. This has the effect of reducing the effect chance of any mental targeting status by 50%, and grants Morbucks a +4 to resisting intelligence targeting attacks. It also has the bonus adaptation of freaking out mind-readers and those who naturally see ESP, as well as hiding Morbucks from supernatural detection, though the 'noise' itself is liable to attract attention anyway. Costs 400 coins
- Projection Cube: This device projects audiovisual imagery of Morbucks choice when activated, usually something terrifying like Wario enjoying dinner, afflicting the stun and fear statuses. It has a set accuracy of 16 and a cure threshold of 14. Costs 200 coins
- Princess Getup: For a more complete image, she can dawn robes and other jewelery to boost her confidence. Grants a +3 to her charisma modifier for 3 turns. Costs 200 coins
- Gamer Fuel: It's an energy drink! Which is definitely okay to give to little kids. ...Probably. Grants an extra action for 3 turns. Costs 300 coins
- Pepper Spray: Hurts like hell, and blinds the target for 2 turns. Costs 200 coins
- Chemical Xtract: Just the tiniest bit of this precious, rare chemical can give the user a monstrous boost to their abilities. It bestows a +2 bonus to each stat modifier except strength, to which it bestows a +4 modifier bonus, for 3 turns, after which they are afflicted by the drowsy status. Costs 300 coins
My daddy buys me anything: ...and it's just an order on her phone and a transmission over state of the art teleportation technology away. Roll a die to determine what she gets. 3 turn cooldown
- Bombchu
- Rage Blaster
- Chuckola Cola
- Food x3
- Black Hole
- Super Mushroom
- BFG 9000
- Drill Arm
- Pokeball
- Metal Box
- Hyper Candy x3
- Rave Toad's Party Bomb
- Devil's Kiss Lollipop
- Chateau Romani
- Bomber
Millionaire Cocktail: A molotov cocktail with dollar bills stuffed in the top instead of cloth. ...What? They aren't even worth anything anymore. It has a 100% chance of setting the target on fire, which deals 15 damage per turn but can be put out by spending an action, leaving the target burned. She can carry three of these at a time, and it costs an action to replace 2 of them after use. (Light Dex Attack; Does 5 Damage)
Final Smash (1)
Fibre-o-tomic-omic: Morbucks dawns a suit of golden armor that greatly empowers her to take hits no one her size has any business taking and return fire with unprecedented force. This form lasts for 3 turns, not including any turn in which she takes no actions, and has the following qualities:
- -10 damage taken or half damage taken, whichever is more beneficial
- +2 to all stat modifiers
- Chance of being statused reduced by 50%, immunity to blindness/stun
- +5 damage done
Additionally, the following attacks become available to her, damage buff not included:
Hand Blast: A simply energy blast projected from the palm. Simple, ...but powerful. (Heavy Dex Attack; Does 20 Damage)
Deflector Armor: Morbucks can attempt to deflect attacks using a propulsion field in the hands of her armor. By doing this, she frees up time she would've spent dodging to get in another attack. This dex-based counter attack grants her an extra action when successful, though this can only be used to make light or medium attacks. Failure results in her taking double damage from the offending attack.
Other Info: Morbucks can fly around using a jetpack.
