Hola! I am just going to paste the Discord announcement regarding a hit and miss topic of deadlines lately. Please "like" this post or let us know in the discord you've read this so we can all just be mindful of the below things. This was discussed between several staff members:

Hey all, some of you might have noticed that we've hit a bit of a dry spell in terms of posting lately. For those of you that are a bit newer to the site, this is what we call Event Mission fatigue, happens just about every time we run an Event Mission, actually one of the primary reasons that we're a bit apprehensive about doing Event Missions. Trust me, I'm a doctor, this is completely normal. Regardless, due to this phenomenon the usual thread archiving process will be put on hold until things start picking up again.

In addition to that, casual reminder to mission GMs, it is not the staff's responsibility to enforce your deadlines on other members. If a player does not meet a deadline, you are well within your right to either skip them or drop them from your mission if you so choose to do so. If said player hassles you about skipping/dropping them from your mission, please contact a staff member and we'll deal with the situation. This goes vice versa as well. Don't hassle people about meeting your deadlines. Reminders are fine, just don't take things personally if someone isn't meeting your deadlines. There's a lot of burnout going around, its going to take some time before the vast majority of people get back into the habit of roleplaying.

Lastly, if you need to take a break from the site and want to let people know, the Hello/Goodbye board is also good for noting short leaves of absences and not necessarily exclusive to introductions and emotional farewells.

Last lastly, while a good 75% of the site is feeling a bit blah about posting, that still leaves a good 25% of us that are in a good writing mood. Now might be a good time to mingle with those that are also looking for stuff to do.
