I am going to have to take a break for a while.


The reason for this break is due to my Discord account has been hacked, leaving me little to no chance to communicate with anyone here. The hacking of my account has left me mentally strained, and as a reesult I have suffered a mixture of horrific panic attacks and hyperventilating issues.

I have sent two tickets to discord, both of which have now been escalated to a professional team member. Whether the Official Discord support team will actually find the time to get my account back, will be an entirely different matter.

With a bit of hope, I should be able to return to discord soon.

Yeah he did. They also apparently used your account to do it. I know this must be really hard for you both but remember we're all going to do our best to help you both through this.

Unfortunately, yeah, it did. I did manage to warn everyone through the Titan bot before it started spreading too much though. So I made an alt account, returned to the server, and cut all ties to the other account

It's okay, man. I know it wasn't your fault. I've pretty much bounced back from it. But, there are a few things you should do ASAP to get Discord up and running again

A) Uninstall Discord from your computer
B) Go to this directory on you computer: YourPCName/appdata/local/discord, and delete everything in that folder. The executable that we both downloaded modified the update executable so it tokengrabs every time the update.exe runs. Deleting it will solve the problem
C) Run a full virus scan on your computer just to make sure nothing else is left
D) Re-install Discord

I went through these steps, and I haven't had any issues with Discord anymore. I recommend you do the same
