History On Li: One day before a concert Sonia was with Lyra on the lookout point. Taking a moment to get away from her manager for a break as she considered how much was out there. Satelites, planets, extraterrestial beings, was a lot to take in at times... Is it possible her mother was somewhere in that void?... Nah, impossible and silly thought. Her partner gave her some reassurance, feeling her mood change.
Right, she decided to move on. Sonia turned around to leave before her Manager got too uppity however before she could an object suddenly crashed near her, causing her to fall over from the shock and impact. A metal object was lodged into the point, emitting some weird energy. Lyra warned her about the strange waves but it was too late as they drew her in and sent her to Li. She saw a familiar figure on the way but was unable to discern it as she was pulled to the other side, now trapped on an alien planet with Lyra along for the ride.
Primary Attacks (3)
Featuring Lyra Guitar~! (Shock Note): A special guitar usable by Harp Note made of her FM-ian, Lyra. With this guitar she can play bursts of music that produce waves that can either be pleasant to hear or severely painful to hear. This can be done in quick succession or with focused strums, her voice or her guitar skills. If Harp Note is unable to play for whatever reason Lyra can take care of it. For a -1 to her next dodge she can amplify the stroke, dealing 6 more damage as a "Charged Shot". Targets INT. [Medium CHA Attack, 15+CHA%]
Sword Chips: The Lyra Guitar starts glowing with energy before Sonia moves to smack the foe with her, emitting a sharp sound wave on impact. This attack is based more on Lyra's energy than Sonia's own strength. Can optionally strum the guitar with the impact unleashing elemental soundwaves that target WIS instead of DEX and making it an AoE. This version also uses CHA instead of WIS. For a turn of cooldown she can also amplify the Guitar with elemental properties for added effect. [Heavy WIS/CHA Attack, 19%]
- Blazing Edge: Engulfs the Lyra Guitar in a pink flame before unleashing it on the enemy. 40% chance to burn.
- Tidal Edge: Splashes the foe with a water amplified instrument. 40% chance to Soak
- Strike Edge: Channels electricity through the Lyra Guitar to give the foe a shocking performance. 40% chance to paralyze.
- Arbo Edge: Channels the power of nature through Lyra Guitar for a more eco-friendly song. 40% chance to poison.
- Break Edge: A full power swing that skips elemental gimicks for raw power. Deals 4% more damage, the DEX version can't be blocked Adds a 2 turn cooldown to the Sword Chips.
Pulse Song: Harp Note makes a Heart Shaped Pulse before sending it directly into the foe, afflicting their mind and making them engrossed with her performance. Has a 100% chance of inflicting Infatuation. If the foe is already under the effects of Infatuation deals double damage. -1 to her DEX Mod on the next turn. 1 turn cooldown. Targets INT. [Medium CHA Attack, 6+CHA Mod Damage%]
Special Attacks (3)
Battle Song!: Harp Note produces a sound amplifier that unleashes battle music, boosting Harp Note's Offense and Defense for a short period. Increases Damage Dealt by 5% and damage recieved is reduced by 5% for 3 turns. 3 turn cooldown.
Machine Gun String: Harp Note fires guitar strings to bind the foe into a grapple from a distance utilizing CHA vs STR. Additionally any Statuses she tries to inflict while they are grappled are doubled in chance. Every time she inflicts a status with this move she heals 10 HP. 3 turn cooldown.
The Show Must Go On!: For every 20% damage Sonia takes she gets herself to play her songs even harder, dealing more damage and raising their status effectiveness. For every 20% damage she takes her chance to inflict Status Ailments increase by 10% and she deals +1 more damage. If an attack has no Status Infliction, the status is already inflicted or is already boosted to 100% it gets an additional +1 to damage.
Final Smash (1)
Grand Performance: A stage beams onto the battlefield already preset with all kinds of special effects and devices to improve that sound and lighting for the performance of someone's lifetime! For 3 turns all Sonia's Stats are amped by 6 and cooldowns are reduced by 3, dodge and stat penalties are deduced by 2. and recoil is reduced by 6% and she can use any move as a free action once per turn, effectively giving her 4 actions. However after a performance like that she becomes tired and needs a rest, self-inflicting Severe Fatigue for 2 turns.
Other Info: As Harp Note Sonia can change her frequency wave to teleport long distances as well as create note to surf on.
Sonia is reliant on Lyra for a lot of abilities so if they were somehow seperated she loses a lot of her techniques and her music becomes normal songs.
As Harp Note Sonia has Ultrasonic Hearing, able to hear and translate sound waves too high for most people.
Unless you possess the ability or a device to see EM Waves, Lyra is usually undetectable outside Electromagnetic Change.
Sonia's Guitar doubles as a way to store Lyra.
All Soundwave and pulse attacks can become AoEs.
