History On Li: Just moments before The Fall, Seifer was was about to retake his SeeD exam to once again return to his roots as a soldier with high magical aptitude so he can climb the ranks to reach the title of Sorcerer Knight. He had failed the exam years ago alongside his former best friend and adversary Squall Leonhart. Squall had passed the exam the first time with flying colors while Seifer did not. Because of this, their friendly rivalry intensified from a competitive spirited one, to a bitter grudge. Because Seifer was fueled by jealousy and couldn't accept his failures he constantly berated Squall, which made him and Squall consider each other enemies. This contention, which later turned into rage, caused Seifer to seek out an almighty sorceress to gain great power to defeat Squall and claim his right to be the strongest of the two of them and also, stronger than anything SeeD could produce. However, this sorceress was evil, and went by the name of Ultimecia.
Though she promised him power and magical ability beyond belief and to help him achieve his goal of becoming a Sorcerer Knight, this promise was laden with treachery. Seifer did gain great increased magical power; but at a cost. He become a slave to Ultimecia; forced to do her bidding and giving up his free will for magical destruction. Eventually this caught Squall's attention and he ended up pursuing Ultimecia and Seifer after they began wreaking havoc across the region and the planet in which Squall and Seifer derived from. This resulted in an epic battle that Squall and his friends had won. Ultimecia was defeated and overthrown while Seifer regained his free will and conscious mind just moments before her decimation and fled the scene before Squall could destroy him too.
Upon his escape, Seifer took alot of time to himself to recollect his thoughts and build his power himself through rigorous training and focus. Squall and Seifer decided to squash their grudge after reconnecting months after the battle, though the rivalry and competitive nature between the two persisted, the hate wasn't there as it was before; but the continued urge to one up each other still remained. Some additional months after that, Seifer received reports of people on his planet suddenly going missing chunks of the world falling away. He also had not heard from or seen Squall or his friends in quite some time. This worried him, thus making him train harder. Once he felt he was strong enough, that is when Seifer decided to retake the SeeD exam. The SeeD facilities were still open and accepting recruits despite the strange happenings and disappearences occurring; and Seifer was not going to stop his dream of getting officially selected into SeeD and advancing to the rank of Sorcerer Knight all on his own.
Just as he reached the final round of his SeeD process and the final exam, the facility begins to suddenly crumble as a giant blackened vortex appears above the area shaking the foundation violently and sucking up multiple individuals within the facility as well as tearing away various parts of the structure. Seifer does his best to hold on shoving his gun blade into the nearest surface to stay grounded, but eventually gets sucked up as well and transported to a strange new place. When he awoke - he noticed a desolate wasteland and that the scar on his face began to bleed again. His vision blurred and head pounding, he stands up and notices a giant pool of what appeared to be magic or mana. It had a purple color to it and shot a beam of black light into the sky. He also notices a fissure underneath his feet, and particles of dark matter swirling around him. He scans the perimeter as best he can in his somewhat injured state, and sees a tall, bulky figure with horns coming out of his head approach him. Their eyes glowing a laser red.
"I see another has graced this cursed land. Lucky for you, I know the ropes around here." The figure reaches out a hand in support in which Seifer grabs. Once his vision cleared some he noticed the visuals of the figure more prominently. Square jaw. Defined muscles. Piercing eyes. Sharp nose. The figure introduces himself properly. "Don't be afraid. My name is Black Shadow. You have landed in an extremely dangerous place. The Extraction Point. Allow me to help you seek some shelter and discuss some things about where you are. Trust me, you'll need a friend here. Hahaha...." Black Shadow's presence didn't exactly scream friendly, but Seifer was lost and confused and filled with questions. This was as good a start as any.
After some discussion and further introduction, Black Shadow tells Seifer that he has landed on Li and that the best way to survive is with others. Seifer makes it to Black Shadow's lair shortly thereafter which wasn't too far from the Extraction Point and is offered to stay with him and given food and water if Seifer obliges to his asks; which involved gathering necessities to experiment on the virus that plagued the land; Starvia, and utilize its contents for power and control of the planet. Black Shadow goes on to plant the seeds of manipulation in Seifer's mind explaining that the only person he can trust, is him and discusses an enemy faction far away called the Life Sphere. "There are those who seek to destroy others surviving the wastelands that wish to work with the Starvia virus instead of against it. Young Seifer, you must understand taking advantage of the disease and weaponizing it for control is the only way for a real, righteous kingdom to develop here. We are all lost without structure and compliance. Power rules over all. The Life Sphere are the enemy. You must never go there. They seek to enslave us and destroy opportunity and the only way in which we can survive; subduing the Starvia and harnessing its abilities. Then, nothing can touch us." His words made sense to Seifer, like sweet music.
For a long time Seifer believed this ideal, and did Black Shadow's bidding. Never seeking out the Life Sphere or its citizens for his survival, and as he did this, he felt a rage inside him build, he started to sense the evil power he once felt under Ultimecia's control. Remnants of his connection with her began to form once more, and he noticed his magic increasing in aptitude as it did under her guidance. He started to feel her spirit and her presence, even hearing voices of her in his head once more urging him to continue his bond with Black Shadow and do his work, and in return, grasp power he couldn't have dreamed of back on his home world.
But after being defeated by a group of Life Sphere warriors in battle on a mission from Black Shadow to retrieve a mage that betrayed his orders, Seifer was trophified, and instead of being completely destroyed or left to waste, he was shown mercy by the Life Sphere team and brought back to the Life Sphere to recover back to his normal self. After speaking with the medical staff and the team that had brought him to the sanctuary of a place, he realized much of what Black Shadow said to him was a lie. And yet, he didn't entirely agree with the way the Life Sphere was handling the Starvia, either.
So after his recovery, he thanked those that had assisted him at the Life Sphere, and left to venture on his own back to the wastelands of Li. He decided not to return to Black Shadow after hearing tales of his defeat by the Life Sphere, nor has he bothered himself to venture back to his lair and inquire if such tales were true; he had no need. He didn't want to take any sides, but he would often return back to the Life Sphere for their mission functionalities in hopes during these said missions and upon going on outings and adventures, rescues and resource discoveries, he would learn more about the planet, the Starvia, and also, himself...
Passive Ability: Rage Mana - Seifer has the unique ability to generate what is called Rage Mana overtime. He inherited this ability from Ultimecia's experimental magic on him when he did her bidding as a mental slave. Since her defeat in Seifer's past quarrels with Squall and his gang, this magical rage effect still sits with him despite her demise. Every 5% DMG he endures, it generates 1 point of "Rage Mana".
Moreover, if he attacks an enemy and misses, this also adds to his Rage Mana giving him 1 point for each missed attack angering him. Some specific attacks of Seifer's have variations in which they use Raga Mana. Any attack that has a magical element to it or produces magical damage or status ailment, it consumes Rage Mana. The downside is, Seifer cannot do any WIS based attacks or attacks that have a magical element or status alteration effect to it if he has no Rage Mana. He can have a maximum of 20 Rage Mana Points at any given time.
Another downside is, if Seifer is at full mana, and neglects to use it immediately upon filling up, meaning, he only has 2 character posts(6 combat turns to use it all up) Seifer will have a 60% chance of getting inflicted with the Berserk ailment, in which he has to roll against the status percentage to overcome it, and all his mana is completely drained after the roll despite if he has the ailment or not.
Passive Ability: Junctioning - In the Final Fantasy Universe in which Seifer derives from, any inhabitants that use Materia and have magic ability, especially those enlisted in SeeD, automatically have the inherited ability to do what is called Junctioning, which allows for any attacks or special attacks performed to have variations that add an additional magical effect to them with different levels of power and results. This is all at the cost of MP. In Seifer's case, he can "junction" certain attacks for the benefit of extra damage and magical prowess, however, because of his mana pool being unique, he has to take damage first to be able to utilize the Junction effect as well as having added consequences to these junction points. If Seifer chooses to simply perform the attack without junctioning, he has a basic cooldown instead. Unless the foundational attack is WIS based, then it will consume Rage Mana.
Primary Attacks
Devil Seeker: Seifer carefully aims his Gunblade at a foe from a distance and fires a single shot focusing on accuracy and high damage output to quickly pick off enemies without needing to get close. [DEX Based. 18% DMG. Medium Attack. Generates 1 RM point on a miss.]
Demi Cut: Seifer rushes an enemy with a serpentine like and carefully executed movement pattern similar to the training he had both as a SeeD recruit and military specialist and slices his blade with a quick thrust downward at the designated target. [DEX Based. Light attack. Comboable. 5% DMG with 10% Chance of Inflicting Mortal Wound each hit. Generates 1 RM point for each attack that misses on this combo.]
Demon Shower: Seifer clicks a setting on his Gunblade, admiring it a moment, then points it at every enemy in front of him letting loose multiple bullets showering them with pain. This is a Cone Radius of up to 40 feet in front of him. [DEX Based. Medium attack. 24% DMG to all enemies. 1 RM point made on a miss. 2 turn cooldown.]
Special Attacks
Skewer Of The Sorcerer Knight: Seifer targets a singular enemy marking them as a threat by pointing his sword at their likeness with one eye closed as if testing a trajectory and chance of hitting them. Once he marks them, he goes after the target no matter what it takes. Once in their vicinity, he crouches down like a predator in waiting then twirls himself at the target slicing into them in an effort to puncture their skin/shell and driving his sword deep into them to cause wounding. Once the sword impales them, he carves up and down into the foe causing added strain(Think like when you carve a pumpkin) and after a few good motions of his sword, he clicks the trigger of his Gunblade and fires at the target while the sword is still in them causing knock back and the enemy to be released from the gauging in a bloody heap. However, the gun shot at close range causes recoil. [DEX Based. Heavy Attack. 28% DMG. 5% recoil. 40% chance of inflicting Mortal Wound. 1 RM Point given on miss. 1 RM Point generated on recoil. 3 turn cooldown.]

Volcanic Surge Of The Sorcerer Knight: Seifer performs the same style of attack that is stated above, however, instead of trying to blast the enemy away at the end of the attack with the bullets of his Gunblade, he uses his Rage Mana to engulf the blade in flames with his eyes suddenly turning red as the flames crawl up the opponent's body while the blade is still lodged in the foe, then after several seconds of seeing if the foe burns or not, Seifer kicks the foe away to dislodge from his blade. However, due to the close proximity in which Seifer creates fire between him and the foe, Seifer ALSO has to roll to see if he self inflicts with the Burn Status. [WIS Based. Heavy Attack. 28% DMG. 50% Chance of inflicting Burn. Seifer must roll against the burn status to see if he is also inflicted. Costs 1 RM point. 1 RM Point generated upon miss.]

Dance Of The Lightning Sorcerer Knight: Seifer pummels his target viciously several times with the handle of his Gunblade, he does so full of rage. The rage he has built up from this move creates tension and stress in Seifer's body, igniting a plume of red colored electricity that surrounds his Gunblade. He then stops his pummeling once the electricity is generated, and twirls his body in a spinning motion turning himself into a deadly turbine. The electricity then circles his body and he begins to "drill" into the foe with this spinning motion as the electrified Gunblade cuts through the enemy several times over. However, due to the loss of control of this move and a feeling of dizziness, Seifer suffers a penalty of a -1 to DEX on his next DEX based attack OR dodge roll against the enemy.[WIS Based. Heavy Attack. 29% DMG. 60% Chance of inflicting Paralysis. -1 to next DEX action. Costs 2 RM points. 1 RM generated upon miss.]

Grudge Of The Sorcerer Knight: The highest level of the Sorcerer Knight attack. Seifer skewers the foe again as he originally does on the foundational level of this attack, driving his Gunblade into the body of the foe carving into them and keeping it inserted. But using a chunk of his Rage Mana, Seifer is suddenly filled with hatred and frustration of the enemy holding a grudge against them. After inserting his Gunblade into their body, Seifer lifts them up like a shish kabob in front of his face and begins to run with them lodged on his blade in the air as a red aura surrounds the SeeD warrior.
Dashing with the foe on his blade, Seifer lets out a battle cry and after a few moments of this dashing frenzy, Seifer leaps using the impact of his speed and power of his rage to give him air and then crashes the foe into the ground with a comet effect causing a minor earthquake underneath the foe and Seifer afterwards. He then plants a foot on the foe's chest and removes his blade cleaning the blood off of it with his coat while his aura goes back to being invisible. However, for consuming so much rage and overexerting himself by amplifying his STR momentarily with the rage magic, Seifer is afflicted with Severe Exhaustion. Because of this, he only saves this move for foes he truly despises. [STR Based. +3 to STR during the roll for this move. Heavy Attack. 30% DMG. Consumes 3 RM points. Seifer is afflicted with Severe Exhaustion. Move can only be used on enemies Seifer has grudges/hatred towards. 1 RM Point generated upon miss.]
Demon Shot: Using the power of his dark magic, Seifer runs his fingers along his blade and imbues his sword with Demi magic. He then aims his now emblazoned Gunblade at a foe and fires a dark powered bullet at them from afar. However, due to the impact of the bullet firing from the chamber, Seifer takes recoil DMG.[WIS Based. Medium WIS attack. 28% DMG. 50% chance of Poison Status. 5% recoil. Gains 1 RM point on recoil. Consumes 1 RM point on hit. Generates 1 RM Point on a miss.]

V JUNCTION LEVEL 1 V
|
Demon Blast: Seifer performs the same move as detailed above, except he amplifies the dark magic to do more damage on a singular enemy causing his next bullet from his Gunblade to be bigger, more powerful, and imbued with a stronger variation of Demi magic. Aside from costing several RM Points, Seifer also takes a hit on his next WIS roll with a -1 to it. He is also vulnerable to the very next close range attack done by a foe after this move due to using a large amount of concentration disorienting him temporarily leaving an easier opening to a close proximity attack. -1 on DEX Roll against foe's next close range attack. [WIS Based. Heavy Attack. 30% DMG. 70% chance of Poison Status. Consumes 2 RM points. Generates 1 RM point on a miss. -1 to next WIS Roll. -1 to next DEX roll against foe.]
|
|
V JUNCTION LEVEL 2 V
|
Demon Bullet; Tonberry Effect: At this level of junction for the move, Seifer's eyes turn an acid green, consuming Rage Mana, he uses one hand to point the Gunblade at a foe AFTER imbuing it with poison magic firing at them as usual, and uses the other to summon a Tonberry to surround the battlefield with mist and stab the foe later within 2 character turns(within six opponent combat turns) This mist forces the foe to pass a Perception Roll of 15 or above to notice the Tonberry in the thick fog before it attacks in which the Tonberry will be frightened and flee. The fog is too low to effect the foe's DEX against Seifer, only effects their perception of Tonberry. Thus only allowing Seifer's bullet to be the only thing doing damage. If the opponent does not pass the perception roll within 6 combat turns, the Tonberry will successfully stab the foe at the end of the 6 turns on top of the bullet DMG. Never at the start of the combat turn phase though.
Due to the level of RM Seifer must consume to perform this move, and the quality of concentration needed to perform this move, Seifer takes a hit of -2 WIS on his next WIS based attack, he also loses -1 on his next DEX roll against a foe, and if Tonberry fails on their attack attempt, Seifer will be unable to use this Junction Level of the move again for 6 combat turns. Moreover, if Seifer misses his bullet on this move, he also does not generate RM. Because he is only using one hand for the bullet attack, it produces less power, so it also has a less chance of poison on the foe if it hits.
[WIS Based. Heavy Attack. 23% Bullet + Poison DMG. 40% chance of Poison on hit. No RM generated on a miss. Consumes 3 RM points. Seifer is -2 to next WIS Roll. -1 to next DEX roll. After 6 combat turns with failed perception roll, Tonberry will do an additional 20% STAB to foe. 25% if the foe is successfully poisoned from the bullet. If Tonberry is found from the perception roll, Seifer cannot use this move again for 6 combat turns.]

Ultimecia's Blessing Of The Demon: Seifer raises his Gunblade in the air as his eyes change color to the same shade of red and a burning red beam of light fires down from above causing the Gunblade to transform into a crimson color giving off a red aura of energy. This transformation gives Seifer +3 WIS for 3 character turns. He then points the Gunblade at all enemies in front of him and with his free hand, uses a large amount of RM to generate a ball of red light. After a few seconds, the light turns into a pure rage magic version of his Gunblade making an exact replica of it. He temporarily has the ability to dual wield Gun Blades. He then fires both Gunblades imbued with rage magic at multiple enemies in front of him doing decent damage and having a chance to inflict the Berserk Status on them. However, because of the large amount of mana consumed, and the damage this high level move does, Seifer automatically suffers the Mind Melted status ailment and cannot use this move again for 4 turns. Additionally, if this move misses, he is punished by the spirit of Ultimecia taking 10% DMG and getting no RM generated from that recoil.
[WIS Based. Heavy Attack. 30% DMG all enemies. 30% chance of Berserk. +3 WIS for 3 character turns. Seifer is afflicted with Mind Melt. Seifer cannot use this move again for 4 Character Turns. Seifer takes 10% DMG on a miss. This move consumes 4 RM points. Seifer gets no RM generated on a miss either, nor does the recoil he takes generate RM.]
Imp Fire: Seifer snaps his fingers and an orb of fire flings at a foe from afar. This is capable of a great distance of up to 5 miles away from Seifer. It also has a chance to burn them. However, if the attack misses, Seifer will take 5% recoil damage with the fire burning his hand for losing control of his magic. He gets no RM generated on the recoil but does get it generated on the miss. [WIS Based. Medium WIS attack. 20% DMG. 40% chance of Burn Status. Costs 1 RM point. Seifer takes 5% recoil if move fails on a foe and gets no RM for the DMG to himself. 1 RM Point generated on miss however.]

Fira: Seifer snaps his fingers and a large fire ball appears in one hand. He then chucks it at a foe capable of landing a hit at a great distance of about 10 miles with a higher chance of burn than the non-junction version of this move. If it misses, the attack will backfire against Seifer, damaging him for 8% recoil and not allowing him to generate RM from the recoil, but, he can generate it on the miss. [WIS Based. Heavy Attack. 22% DMG. 55% chance of Burn Status. Costs 1 RM Point. Seifer takes 8% recoil if move fails, and gets no RM for the recoil, but gets 1 RM point on a miss.]

Firaga: Seifer's right eye turns a burning orange, he snaps his fingers on BOTH hands this time and a pillar of fire crashes down on a singular foe from afar. This is capable of a great distance of up to 20 miles away from Seifer. However, if Seifer misses the attack, he gets a headache from using so much magic at once and has to fight the Mind Melt Ailment with a 20% of self infliction. He also does not generate RM if this move misses. This move costs several RM points such is the consequence for higher DMG. [WIS Based. Heavy WIS attack. 27% DMG. 70% chance of Burn Status. Has to roll a 1d100 against 20% to see if Mind Melt is inflicted upon a miss. Costs 2 RM points. 1 RM Point NOT generated on miss.]

Ultimecia's Inferno: The spirit of Ultimecia suddenly appears behind Seifer. She raises her arms high into the air setting her hands on fire. She then moves her arms in front of her just above Seifer's shoulders and imbues him with a fire like aura. His eyes both turn a burning orange. Ultimecia's spirit and presence amplifies Seifer's rage magic abilities. Seifer then sets his Gunblade on the ground, brings his arms up in front of him and opens his palms creating flames on both hands. With a sinister smile, He unleashes streams of fire on all opponents in front of him and Ultimecia also unleashes flames from her own hands. All foes in front of Seifer are struck with fire doing decent damage with a high chance of burn. However, because this spell is so potent, Seifer suffers -2 to his CON stat for 3 turns with the flames being too much for him to bear on the aftermath of the move.
Additionally, Seifer has a 40% chance of inflicting burn on himself due to the magical flames being so hot and must roll a 1d100 against the status ailment chance to see if he is inflicted with Burn. If he is NOT inflicted with burn, Seifer can freely use this move again if he has the RM points for it, however, if Seifer is inflicted with the burn, he will suffer 10% recoil DMG on top of that instantly and get no RM for the recoil. If Seifer misses the move completely, he cannot use this move again for the rest of the mission/topic and will still need to roll against the 40% burn chance but will take no recoil or suffer the CON consequence.
If he hits some foes but not all, he can use it again with enough RM. Upon move's miss, Seifer also does not generate RM. Once the move completes, hit or miss, Ultimecia vanishes in a plume of red smoke and leaves behind a sinister laugh.
[WIS Based. Heavy Attack. 30% DMG all foes in front of Seifer. 80% Burn Chance on all foes. Seifer suffers -2 CON for 3 turns if move hits as well as must roll against 40% burn chance on self. Seifer can freely use move again if he has enough RM if not burned. If inflicted with burn, Seifer will suffer 10% recoil DMG on top of burn and get no RM for it. If Seifer misses the move entirely, he cannot use it again for the rest of the mission/topic. If he hits some foes not all, he can use it again with enough RM. If move misses entirely, he takes no recoil DMG and will not suffer CON consequence but still must roll against burn chance. If it hits some foes at least, he will suffer the usual penalties. Upon moves miss, it also does not generate RM. This move consumes 5 RM.]
Final Smash
Fire Cross(LIMIT BREAK!!!)- Seifer tosses his Gunblade into the air. A Pentagram appears underneath Seifer's feet and he cups his hands together muttering a quick ritualistic prayer while the Gunblade stays in a spinning suspension midair and in slow motion. The pentagram suddenly catches on fire and is made of hot burning flames. Seifer seems unaffected by the fire. Once it is lit on fire, he stops the prayer and his eyes turn red and wide. He raises a hand in the air and the sword finally ascends back to his grasp in an effortless catch. It is now even bigger, and longer in size and also on fire. Seifer then carves a large cross in the air and with a rage filled shout, launches the burning cross at all foes in front of him with it getting bigger and more deadly as it travels for extreme damage.
[WIS Based FS. 40% DMG All foes in front of Seifer at any distance. 40% chance of Burn Ailment. Seifer suffers -2 WIS for 2 turns afterwards due to the level of power the FS has.]
