So, An Overnight decision and wave of positivity has lead to the idea that i could maybe App the Blonde Lesser-known girl of the Classic Megaman series, Kalinka Cossack, With an idea for her move set. Kalinka herself can play a sort of passive role in combat, Perhaps as Support, or as a simple Passive entity who doesn't even fight! However, The one who will handle Combat, Is one of Four Potential Robot/Reploid Friends, To act as the 'Knight' Defending the Princess, as it were!
This is simply to gauge a vote of opinions everyone may have regarding this choice, And a general summary of what these 'Knights' May act like, or do with there moves.
Lumine, Once a Super Boss for a Turbo Difficult Mission, Now trying to 'Redeem' Himself....Or is he? Its hard to tell sometimes!
Lumine is a Advanced Reploid from the end of the Megaman X Era, Who attempted to ascend to a Godhood by Evolving the Reploid Kind beyond that of any human or destiny could control him. Your Average Day Robotic Lucifer. In any case, Now on Li, Lumine arrived to Li with only his AI Floating through Cyberspace, And unable to recollect his old body. However, Upon discovering Zero, Lumine affected Zero's Body, Eventually taking over Zero's Mind and Taking over his body.
This of course lead Zero to Evolve himself into a Cyber Elf, But, That's a totally different character story. Lumine, Having his body and plans to evolve rightfully dashed, now id currently performing mass community service for the life sphere while serving a Level-2 Jail Time in the Life Sphere.
Now-- Where does Kalinka come in? Kalinka would perhaps see that Lumine is doing his best to Redeem himself in the life sphere, and under some great and heavy request, Has Lumine's 'Community Service' Adjusted into becoming Kalinka's personal Companion. Lumine doesn't seem mind this...But who knows what he's really thinking?
Pro's:
-I already have a plot in mind for Lumine's continued existence on Li. This would give Lumine a method to continue interacting with the story of Li, Without having to shoehorn him as a NPC.
-Lumine's Move set featuring his 'Gems' System would be a very fun move set to play with. As seen in his mission, He would be able to Copy an enemy or Ally , Creating an array of gems based on there spirit, in order to Mimic there Move set. Alternatively, I could give Lumine some A-trans abilities, Some Sigma Based Abilities, and general elemental magic spells, Obviously toned down from his boss fight.
-Lumine is a fun character. He's Evil, He's Cute, An' i like him.
Con's:
-Thematically, Lumine and Kalinka are a bit of a Jarring pair to imagine as a Duo, Considering how...Wildly different there goals and moralities are.
-Lumine is widely considered evil by everyone, And it would be an awfully hard time playing him, Without falling into the Junko problem where every time Lumine's on screen, all eyes fall on him with hate.
Pharoh man, Known by his model number DWN-028, Or more Properly, Doctor Cossack Number - 004, Pharoh Man is a Robot Master designed to safely explore archeological tombs and hidden rest sites across the ancient lands that most men would suffer to go through. Pharoh Man is also noted to be Canonically Attatched to Kalinka in a way, As one of her favorite robots to play with.
Pharoh Man, On Li, Would act fairly akin to his Canonical depictions, As a Level-headed Leader, Who commands Respect in his wake, with a serious look in his eye and some incredible skill. Though, He is not without his ups and downs. For one, Pharoh Man becomes very timid, and almost servantile to Beautiful Women, And may refuse outright to strike a woman if it comes to it.
As well, Pharoh man has a Moveset revolving around use of Egyptian Powers, Solar Energy, Necromancy, And perhaps some other inventive approaches to take his design.
Pro's:
-Canonical Connection to Kalinka as a friend and Ally, as well as being one of her fathers creations.
-Unique Moveset Potential
-Pharoh Man would be a fun character to play. High, Leadership, Haughty-- But at the end of the day, becomes a simp
Con's:
-Somewhat Limited Moveset in regards to elements that arnt Heat or Earth related
-Classic-era Robot, Meaning he would not possess free will as a reploid does.
From a Game long forgotten...Probably for good reason, Over-1 is a member of a Mass-produced series of Megamen assigned to protect the nonexistent concept known as Time from many villains. Created by Dr. Cossack and Dr. Light, Over-1 is a easily forgotten, But, Might make a Unique Comeback.
On Li, I imagine Over-1 might have a good bit of issue with the...Personality, thing. As a Mass Produced Droid, a Personality is hard to Over-1 to come by, So, Over-1 may have a Deadpan attitude to most things. Like Yu Narukami in Persona 4, Where Mannerisms and jokes sorta fly over his head. I may even give him amnesia to get over the Time Travel Aspect, Just to focus on his abilities and design.
In terms of Abilities, Over-1's primary power is to use 'Battle Memories', Achieved by copying The Spirit of his enemies, To unleash unique Weapons and Abilities, Like a more Broad Version of Megaman's Copy Ability. As well, He has various 'Armors', Which adjust his Over-Number, and grant him some very broad Stat Boosts.
Pro's:
-Canonical Connection to Kalinka, as Kalinka was Over-1's Operator previously, as well as a Cossack Droid.
-Unique Moveset Potential
-Fun Character to Play. A Lack of Personality leading to Deadpan reactions and somewhat of a
Con's:
-Megaman xOver's plot is stupid and trying to work with it would be AAAAAA
