Shadow/Krystal/Ditto Ghor



As the gun was handed to the being by Krystal, and after listening intently to Shadow's influence, the freshly awakened specimen latched his cold bony fingers around the gun's handle which prompted a flash of burning orange light to come from the already glowing gun. The light filled the entire vicinity and gave off a powerful divine like energy. The sirens suddenly broke and hundreds of plastic and glass pieces shatter to the ground. The console nearest them in the freezer broken and exploded. The sirens also stopped blaring after being shattered by the immense energy burst. Once the light had ceased, the figure was seen again, but this time, in a different sense.

He had color return to his skin, he floated in the air emitting a magnificent crimson aura, his entire life essence seemingly returned in the blink of an eye and all the ice that encompassed him melted away. Now in a more healthy state, he gave off a look of handsome valor and mystique, a sudden charm appeared in his demeanor, and he slowly descended to the ground and took a steady bow to the group.





"Thank you." He made a statement of peace to the group and smiled with sincerity. "It means more than you know, to be free of that frozen prison. My name is Vincent Valentine. And I have much to explain." He had so much to say. So many emotions waiting to be unleashed for being locked away for so long; but his dialogue was quickly interrupted. His eyes jerk wide open and his body freezes. He then quickly sneers. "Duck." Whether they wanted to listen or not, he would be taking action in the moment either way.

Mr. Valentine was able to see the enemies approach before the others could. They were human like creatures that waddled at an incredibly fast rate with an off kilter stance as they moved or stood still showing issues of balance which made them all the more creepier and harder to predict. However, they possessed a MASSIVE claw as one of their limbs, should one be struck with such a thing there is no telling what kind of consequence there would be, including heavy blood shed. Additionally, they had fleshy obtrusions coming from their skin that were filled with a strange acid and were discolored in nature.

They resembled tumors or blood boils. And if they were popped, it could create some nasty repercussions. It would be an understatement to say that when attacking these enemies, it is best to be cautious where one would aim to avoid the infected liquids inside of them to explode all over the team. The monsters didn't see Valentine's first attack coming and their attempt at creepily flanking Krystal and Shadow from behind failed. Vincent cocked his gun that possessed two barrels at the notch, and fired two bullets caked in fire at two of the enemies. "Burst Shot." He says this bluntly and straight faced. Remaining cool and collected. Then for the third enemy, he raises his other hand, and unleashes a stream of chaotic fire at the third enemy. "Fira." His aim is tried and true.

Unfortunately the first shot misses, but he doesn't let that get to him as the second bullet engages the other enemy right after.

The second bullet penetrates the head of the other enemy creating blood spatters exiting the back of their cranium. It would surely create some knock back and cause the enemy to flinch somewhat taking such a hit. Likely the chance of it being burned afterwards would be quite high.

His Fira magic attack misses the third enemy by an inch. He grunts, annoyed. With winced eyes he looks to the group. "If I were you two, I would deal with these pests quickly. I'll explain why later." He then raises his cape to his face, and flicks it outward exposing his face again in full and revealing his upper body and the combat gear he dawns. His eyes then glow a fierce red while he stares directly at the group and a crimson aura begins to envelope them.

Vincent looks at Shadow curiously as his eyes return to a normal red color. "You remind me of myself, hedgehog....I wonder if I have met you before. If I was an animal, a gifted one, I am rather certain I would be like yourself." In a way the two of them did look similar, that is, if Shadow was human and Vincent was a hedgehog, it could be debated if they would be much different. "Now you two, watch your backs while I load my gun and prepare another attack!" He says this as the enemies close in.

The awoken beast unfortunately did not get the upper hand. Yumiko and Ghor spared no time to pull the first punch while Wolf hesitated to think of a tactic and a way go about dealing with the behemoth. The fleshy, scaly, grumpy giant did not expect to be struck so quickly. First with a painful bolt of lightning causing its entire body to twitch and flash in a yellow light show. The water beneath its feet didn't help the situation as it proved to be a conductor for the lighting. And just when it thought the pain was going to subside, another bolt of lightning from Yumiko strikes it in place causing it to roar in agony and twitch again. Clouds of smoke began to spew from its skin. It was getting cooked!

To add to the torture, Yumiko erupts an assault of fire on the beast cooking it alive even more causing scorch marks to span across it and more smoke to billow from its skin. It lets out a wail cringing now. After the onslaught, the creature barely gets a breather and Ghor additionally cuts off any chance for it to recover blasting it with a plasma beam.

Ghor continued his offensive while the beast remained feeling the pressure and tries for a combo of beams at it, with the first hitting and singing its chest, though not doing much, and the other two shots completely missing. The creature finally gets a chance to gather itself; already riddled with marks of battle it only became infuriated and let out a salivating roar at the entire group attacking it. It wanted to counter in a big way. The beast first pounds the watery ground with its giant fists sending a green shockwave of gamma energy to all combatants around it. The fury of the creature driving the energy and speed of the attack as it expands viciously to the group.

Echelon Wave To All Party Members (DC To Dodge is 14. Will do 18% DMG if it hits.)

Afterwards, the creature turns its large and imposing head to Yumiko snarling, and opens its mouth unleashing a green stream of acid at her.

Acid Beamflux To Yumiko (DC To Dodge is 13. Does 21% DMG with a 20% chance of Poison.)

Lastly, it looks to Ghor, and expands its long and massive left arm at the robot opening its claws and attempting to grab the machine.

Crippling Grip (GRAPPLE BATTLE. DC To Dodge The Initiation is 12. If dodge fails, the creature will have a tight grip on the opposer, doing an instant 15% damage. Every successful turn the grapple is in effect after that, it will do another 10% damage. After a max of 40% dmg, the grapple automatically ends if the opposer is unable to escape.)

Aside from the shockwave, Wolf was left alone and the other two got the brunt of the attacks. It is unknown how this creature came to be here or what kind of experimentation if any was done to it. But it does appear the creature was abandoned down here for one reason or another. Just like the Master Hand Wolf found, there seems to be a theme to this sewer area. Possible failed experiments tossed aside, or, an excuse to protect the underbelly of the base to keep intruders out. Trash keeping out trash. Whatever the case, something in these sewers definitely didn't sit right and screamed demented and sadistic. The key to winning the battle against the beast, also lies in trust with each other.

Threat Code Xelot: Breeding Evil - Wolf O'Donnell - FS: Hungry Like The Wolf - Highest Stat: DEX

Luckily Wolf's cry was heard, and Ghor along with Yumiko came in blazing with a tactic of attacking first and going right for the offensive before the creature can lash out against the Space Pirate. "Thanks for the assist!" Now that his comrades have attacked, the creature strikes back. It sends an expansive and mighty shockwave to the group. Wolf attempts to leap over the energy surge with as much agility as he could.

To his dismay, Wolf wasn't quick enough or nimble enough in the moment to dodge. He gets blasted against the brick wall behind him and topples into the water. He takes a moment to recover and pushes himself off the ground, his fur now soaking wet. He spits into the water beneath him and eyes his vest and clothing annoyed.

"Man, this was one of my favorite uniforms. And I hate wet fur. My turn." Wolf growls taking out his blaster and firing at the beast aiming right at its head.

Wolf misses his mark by a large margin and curses aloud. "Shit! I'm gettin rusty. Don't tell me my one good eye is goin bad too!" He grunts and tries again.

JUST BARELY Wolf fires a successful hit to the beast doing 15% damage as a blow to its head. He then crouches down, makes two fists out of his claws, and preps himself putting one leg behind him as if ready to dash somewhere and yells charging the enemy using the jets in his boots and the energy from his Deflector attached to his hip to add a punishing impact to his Wolf Jet attack. "HAAAAA!" His body is now surrounded by purple flames and he goes in for the strike.

With great concentration, and a centered energy, Wolf launches himself as a flaming comet at the enemy striking it in the belly and then flipping back some distance away from it with the flames around Wolf dying out just as fast as they began. He did 15% damage. And it had a 10% burn chance on the foe. "Fantastic. Now just a crap load more hits and maybe this thing will finally be put back to sleep." He comments with irritation while the creature seemed like a huge handful to take down, but he was grateful to have a team with him to help.

"Me neither, which might be a bad thing depending on what he was doing here." Yumiko said in response to Ghor when he said that he didn't know anyone named Tajiro that was currently living in the Life Sphere, which meant that only bad things could of happened to him. As she slid down on the ladder to aide Wolf, she looked back up to Ghor before looking back down.

Yumiko smiled to Wolf. "We weren't going to leave you down here with that, thing now wouldn't we?" Before having a good look at the figure that the group had gotten past earlier. It appeared to be some sort of alligator like creature that was dripping with something, it looked dangerous, so Yumiko didn't even want to imagine what it was.

What was important right now was dodging it's attack that it had in store for the trio. Yumiko was, to say the least, a little disappointed that her fire attack didn't manage to burn it.

But hopefully it might work a second time.

Yumiko watched as the creature pounded the ground and sent a shockwave towards her.

Which she had managed to get out of the way from, unlike Wolf. Although the creature wasn't finished attacking her yet, it was firing acid at her now, which Yumiko saw. She summoned her bubble shield to protect herself from the acidic saliva.

After using the shield, Yumiko moved it out of the way and stared down at the Hunter. "It's going to take more then just a shockwave to take us down!" Yumiko said to the Hunter before she fired her own attacks at it once more, aiming to help take down the Creature before the trio could decide on what to do next.

Yumiko was impressed that her first two attacks had managed to hit. Although she was disappointed to see that her last attack didn't, but she then stood near Ghor as she waited on the results of her attack on the Hunter.

Shadow gasped as he spun his head around to the entrance he and Krystal had come only to find uh… well, he certainly looked like Ghor, but the hedgehog wasn’t quite sure. However, the robotic… clone thing assured him that though this form was only temporary, he was, in fact, there to help. The hedgehog could only take his word for it for now, since they could really use all the help they could get, so Shadow simply nodded. “Alright,” Shadow answered. “But things are about to get hectic, okay? So hope you’re ready for that.”

Of course, the question Ghor asked was more directed at Krystal, so the hedgehog turned his head and arched an eyebrow, waiting for the vixen’s response. It didn’t take long for Krystal to decide to ultimately give the gun to the stranger, causing a bit of a chill to run up his spine ever so slightly. The hedgehog couldn’t help the slight doubt that plagued his thoughts, but he wasn’t about to back out of this decision. Now the hedgehog held his breath to see how the stranger would react.

...Well, that was before the display of power came forth after that. The hedgehog ducked a bit at the explosion before yelling out “Get down!” to everyone else, reaching for Krystal’s arm to try and pull her down with him before ultimately covering his head with both his hands until the explosions and sirens all stopped. The aura was still flaring around the stranger, but Shadow thought it was safe enough at that point to slowly open one of his eyes up to see… the person they’d just saved. The hedgehog gulped a bit before pushing himself up into a standing position, uncertain of what the… man’s intentions were until he… bowed to them?

Once the man said thanks, the hedgehog could finally lower his guard at least a little bit. “...Well, it may have caused us a slight setback, but there wasn’t any way we were about to leave a living person in there frozen forever.” Of course, Shadow was the main force that got the man out, but he’d like to think that Krystal would’ve done the same thing. “How long were you in there any-?”

Before Shadow finished his thought, the man said duck, and the raising of Vincent’s, the stranger, weapon for Shadow to swiftly duck down out of harm’s way. The black hedgehog would then look up to see the army that had waited to attack the group, causing the black hedgehog to rise back to his feet, and glared intensely at the zombie-like creatures they were now facing.

Shadow squinted at the creatures and almost hissed. Could this have been… Starvia? He wasn't sure... after all, the hedgehog had never seen it before. But seeing something like this made the hedgehog... quite wary.

Before Shadow could really think too hard about it, the man suggested to him and Krystal that they get to fighting these monsters. Shadow dropped his thoughts for later as he was certain he’d get some kind of answer eventually. Now was the time to fight, and so Shadow readied his stance.

The black hedgehog quickly got to work whittling down the monster that Vincent had already started on. The hedgehog rolled into a ball and rolled right into Tyrant 2 at full speed before ramming into him two more consecutive times.

The hedgehog then brought out his... somewhat silly looking gun before firing at the same monster point blank. The laser of the gun would've phased right through him, but simply bounced off the wall and went a random direction. The black hedgehog placed the gun back in his quills before clenching his fists.

The black hedgehog then jumped into the air before rolling into a ball and attempted to strike the creature right in the stomach. It unfortunately missed the monster quite a bit, but the hedgehog had whittled the one creature down quite a ways now. "Try to aim for the weakened one!" Shadow called out to Krystal and Ditto Ghor. "The faster we get him down, the less monsters we have to deal with, the better."

Vincent Valentine then spoke up again, causing the black hedgehog's ears to perk up as the man spoke. The hedgehog tilted his head and arched an eyebrow, a bit uncertain by what Vincent really meant. The hedgehog never really delved too deep into what he may've been like had he been human... mostly because he didn't really care, but Vincent seemed to interest the hedgehog a bit. Though he did find himself puzzled by the idea of someone having met him before here. The hedgehog couldn't help but feel a familiar confusion as to when he heard Wolfe's question earlier. "I don't believe I have, I'm afraid." Shadow answered before glaring back at the creatures and nodding at Vincent's statement. "These monsters have no idea who they're dealing with..."

Of course... it's possible they had no idea what they were doing at all.

It would seem that Ditto Ghor arrived at a peculiar time. In Shadow and Krystal’s side of the adventure, they seemed to have found their own share of strange puzzle pieces, the mystery man included. Immediately after receiving instruction from Shadow, the cloaked man had a sudden burst of power. The explosions and shrapnel flying through the air caused the false Ghor to make a sudden combat roll, taking cover behind a nearby console and training the barrel of his weapon onto the mysterious man. Everything within the blueprints of Ghor’s mind told the Ditto to be cautious of this stranger, as there wasn’t a basis for trust.

Ditto Ghor’s weapon lowered though, at the same time that Mr. Valentine bowed and introduced himself. The show of weakness was all he needed to be convinced, at least for now anyway. As it would become quickly clear, they were going to need all the help they could get, especially since Ditto Ghor knew his time with the three was nearing its end.

The pink creature ducked behind his cover, just as he was commanded, though peeked his head out once more when he heard the familiar sound of gunfire. A small cluster of enemies stood just beyond Vincent, a trio of grotesque misshapen humanoids. They looked like genetic experiments, something Space Pirates would do to federation prisoners for fun. What they once were was immaterial though, especially if they were going to make it out of this lab alive. Ditto Ghor clutched at a Phazon Grenade, ready to throw it, but pulled back at the last minute, noting the pulsing boils on the creatures’ bodies. Explosives would make a quick mess of things, this operation required precision.

Readying his arm cannon, Ditto Ghor aimed it at the second Starvia Tyrant as per Shadow’s instruction. “Divide and conquer, acknowledged” he relayed back as his optics zeroed in on the shoulder joint of the creature’s left arm. The big claw hand seemed to be its best weapon, might as well try to de-claw it. The first shot was a beam of pure plasma, the kind that burned the flesh something fierce. It would soften the target, making his charged power beam hurt all the more when it connected.

As the second shot exited his gun, Ditto Ghor’s body began to wobble and smoothen. His finer details were reduced until he reverted back into the little blob creature it once was, waving goodbye to its nearest ally before puffing away into a cloud of smoke. Such was the end of Ditto Ghor.

Meanwhile, back in the sewers, the muscular beast finally arose from the murky water, revealing its deathly eyes and toothy grimace. A nightmare creature that wouldn’t look out of place in the depths of Zebes. While combating these types of monsters was more of Samus’ thing, Ghor didn’t seem to have much of a choice in whether or not he could fight it, as it was quickly coming for him. Perhaps he wasn’t a huge fan of high-tech weaponry, most onery beasts weren’t.

During the beast’s approach, it slapped the ground with such amazing force that it sent a shockwave of visible energy sprawling outward. With a single boost to his leg servos, Ghor leapt backwards, rocketing back towards the ladder and clinging to one of the footholds, allowing the wave of energy to pass underneath him as he remained in his heightened position.

The grinning colossus didn’t seem to like Ghor’s theatrical movements, racing toward him with an open and extended hand. Considering his lithe and light chassis, Ghor’s optics flashed with fright. Something that strong could crush him like a tin can. Waiting for the last possible moment, Ghor leapt off of the ladder and back into the grimy water, landing in a three-point position.

“We leave this facility together or we don’t leave at all. That simple” Ghor expressed in answer to Wolf’s gratitude. With the beast no doubt reeling back from its failed attempt at grabbing him, Ghor took this opportunity to pull up a small holographic screen on his wrist device. He quickly put two fingers to two different sliders, readjusting his power supplies to more efficiently deal with the monster in front of him.

With that, Ghor’s arm cannon suddenly whirred with power. “A synthetic eye could prove quite useful” he commented as he watched Wolf’s blaster fire miss their mark by a mile. “When this is over, I could sketch up a design for you” he added as his cannon unleashed another more potent blast of plasma. The surge of power must have made Ghor’s trigger finger a bit twitchy, considering that the laser blast sailed right over the creature, proving even less accurate than Wolf’s previous shot. “… Or perhaps you might reconsider.”

Like a true technician, Ghor slapped the side of his arm cannon as it blasted a bit of steam out of its other end. Incidentally, it switched to its power beam settings and unleashed a barrage of pellet-like laser blasts.

As Krystal handed the frozen man the gun, she pulled her staff out again as Vincent introduced himself. "I see. Well, we have a lot of questions for y-" she started, before diving to the ground on Vincent's signal, feeling Shadow yank on her wrist as she sprawled on the floor. Vincent's various shots and explosions whistled over her head as she covered her ears, only coming out of cover again when the noise had stopped. With a clear view of the room again, Krystal's eyes fell on probably the most grotesque figure she'd ever seen. The looked...human, she guessed? But the giant claw, disgusting growths, and bloody boils covering their skin clued Krystal in that these things were definitely not human. Or at least, not anymore....

"Urgh!" Krystal exclaimed in disgust, holding her staff a little tighter. She didn't want these things anywhere near her! Luckily though, they seemed to be preoccupied with Vincent for now, and hadn't seen her or Shadow yet. Taking advantage of the monster's obliviousness, Krystal moved in for an attack

As Shadow moved in to attack physically, Krystal provided cover fire from behind him, though her shot traveled wide of her intended target. Even so, they may have acted as enough of a distraction for Shadow to get a few hits in. With the flames not proving effective, Krystal changes tactics, channeling the power of the sea though her staff.

Now this was much better! The winds shot forth from Krystal's staff and tore at one of the creatures arms. Hopefully that was enough to knock it off balance, because Krystal was going in for a more physical assault, attempting to knock the creature over before it recovered.

These things were pretty hardy, but Krystal still managed to get a couple decent hits in. Even so, these things didn't look like they were gonna give up any time soon, so Krystal remained on guard. If only to keep whatever was oozing out of those boils out of her fur.

Shadow/Krystal/Ditto Ghor

The fight was most certainly under way with one of the Tyrants from the enemy team already whittled down to next to nothing. However, two of them were still at good health and thirsty for blood. The one tyrant that was attacked the most seemed to ooze acid and discolored blood as drops of it began dripping from several of its pores. It looked even more nasty than it did before. The weakest Tyrant starts to feel the scorching heat from all those burn inducing attacks and checks in with itself to see if it had enough strength to stay fighting.

After getting a feel for its current condition of health and ability, Tyrant Two determined it could keep fighting, as bloody and beat up as it was, the other two fellow monsters with it were pleased to see their brethren still able bodied after such attacks. Next, Tyrant 1 got a little taste of the mystical blue fox's magic. Krystal ensured Tyrant 2 was not the only one to get a mouthful of pain. Tyrant 1 ate various bolts of fire and razor like wind while Krystal's magic sliced away at its arms. She managed to actually slice off a finger or two from its claw like arm, and cause some bloody scars, but the Tyrant was more than still healthy for the fight. It felt a scorch mark on one of its arms and looked down to see if it could still use it for battle.

Once all three tyrants appeared to now have a second to retaliate, they all eyed each other with salivating mouths knowing they had a chance to strike back after the Li fighters were recovering from using their energy, they then creepily dashed at the fighters and went on the attack for a bit of revenge. Tyrant 2 was itching to strike back first. It dashed at Vincent etching its large claw at him with a quick swipe.

Tyrant 2 Claw Swipe at Vincent. Upon hit, it will do 13% DMG and cause Zombification. DC to dodge is 10.

It then turned its disgusting head to Krystal and went in for a swipe at her.

Finally it looked to Shadow foaming at the mouth, and shot a stream of acidic bubbles from its mouth at Shadow.


Tyrant 2 fires a stream of poisonous foam at Shadow using Toxic Bath. If it hits it will do 20% DMG with a 15% chance of Poison ailment. DC to doge is 13.

Tyrant 1 planned to return some pain back to Krystal after her attacks on it. The Tyrant wailed in a terrifying tone and extended its arm in an unsettling looking stretch of its limb and tried to strike Krystal across the face using its arm that did not have a claw on it.


Tyrant 1 slings and stretches its arm in a fast thrust at Krystal punching her in the face with a Long Strike attack. If it hits it will do 19% DMG with no other effect. DC to dodge is 12.

The same Tyrant then strikes Krystal again from a distance opening its mouth and spraying a stream of disgusting bubbles at her rife with poison.


Tyrant 1 spews poisonous foam at Krystal using Toxic Bath. If it hits it will do 20% DMG with a 15% chance of Poison ailment. DC to dodge is 13.

The third Tyrant was now ready to attack as well. It looks to Vincent and plucks an acidic ball of flesh from its skin then launches it at him.

Tyrant 3 plucks a ball of acid from its chest and chucks it at Vincent using its Blister Boil attack. If it hits it will do 22% DMG with a 20% chance of poison to Vincent. DC to dodge is 13.

Afterwards, Tyrant 3 looks for the pink robot figure that attacked them earlier, but it seemed nowhere to be found and looks to Shadow instead, and leaps into the air and strafes down with its fangs out attempting to bite the hedgehog from an airborne assault.


Tyrant 3 screeches in aggression leaping towards Shadow and attempts to sink its fangs into him for a Fang Fringe attack. If it hits it will do 10% damage and inflict the Zombification ailment on Shadow. DC to dodge is 13.


The same Tyrant afterwards, whether it missed its mark or not, would lick its hand on the arm where a claw wasn't attached, coating it with acid and attempt to slap the hedgehog harshly across the face.

Tyrant 3 cakes its hand with toxic slobber and swipes Shadow across the face using its Poison Palm attack. If it hits it will do 15% DMG with a 10% chance of Poison ailment. DC to dodge at close range is 14.

Vincent underestimated the trifecta of infected creatures, their strength and speed were both uncanny, and even a deity of his power and abilities, did not expect even a fraction of any sort of challenge from them. Whatever they were diseased with, Starvia or otherwise, truly gave them some formidable powers. He gasped as they began to attack him.

Vincent tries to block the Claw Swipe and puts up his Bubble Shield.

After the close call, Vincent sees a ball of green acidic goop flinging his way and he attempts to duck out of its trajectory range.

Vincent is splooshed with a ball of nasty acid from one of the Tyrants taking some damage and blocking what impact he could with his cape, but the acid was easily burning through his garbs.

Vincent avoids the first counter attack of the enemy, but eats the second and stares down at himself and his clothes feeling absolutely gross and shakes his head. "I really would have wished I was not left captured for so long. I could have helped avoid all this." Vincent gives a penetrating gaze to the enemies now that he can serve up some more pain finding an opening to the enemies and takes the opportunity to retaliate. "These are ancient garbs. Now you will all become ancient history. HMPH!" He throws off his red hooded cape and expands his arms wide. Large red hot balls of volcanic flame forges in his hands. Once the orbs of fire were of decent size, he moves his arms forward and launches the balls at the enemies.

"INFERNO FIRAGA!" A high level high potency fire attack from the most ancient and darkest of magic. The two balls launch at all enemies and split into several more orbs of burning fire. All enemies are attacked for 24% DMG. After this however, Vincent cannot use this move again for a while.

With his aim quite off, he surprises himself with the terrible accuracy. "What? Gah. That last attack that landed on me by the enemy must have threw me off somehow. Fine then." Vincent takes out Cerebrus and rushes Tyrant 2 slamming the pistol into its face with immense speed. If it hits it will do 21% DMG with a 15% chance to being Stunned.

Off by a hair, Vincent misses his mark again, frustrated with himself. "That wretched chamber has kept my body immobile for so long. I need to regain control of my body and fast!" He looks to the hedgehog hearing his comment about being confused after Vincent compared him to himself. Vincent comments to Shadow. "Think nothing of it, Shadow The Hedgehog. I have heard whispers of your kind, and I was just curiously pondering the notion, that's all." He then goes back to Tyrant 2, not giving up his attack just yet. "As for any further questions, they will continue to be on hold. For now, our focus are these abominations!" He then points his gun at Tyrant 2 clicking a mechanism on his weapon turning it to Rapid Fire mode and firing 3 combo shots at the foe. Each bullet, smaller than his usual ammo, doing 5% DMG but lowering the foe's DC by 1 with each successful shot. DC lower lasts 3 turns.

This battle was causing everyone much turmoil both in the sense of time wasted, as well as potential of some serious damage and danger being done. With each moment they are caught up fighting these creatures, more and more throughout the base have a chance to gather and prepare for the team's advancement throughout the facility. And more obstacles and defenses will be crafted to stop them from reaching the top. Vincent makes a worried look on his face. "If this is what we are dealing with at the get go, I can't imagine how we'd fare against the more challenging threats to come. We have much work to do." He sighs, ready to keep in the fight despite him continuing to have ill control of his body, still recuperating from being frozen for such a time.

The beast was riddled with all levels and manners of attacks by the three Li saviors, thrashing its skin and scales a good bit. It flinched several times and was even driven back a few feet despite its size by the team's efforts. But it still had plenty in the tank. Wolf managed to clip it twice, and even making it feel extra crispy with a direct hit to its tummy. It groans clutching its stomach and looking down at the burn mark to see if it'll manage without a burn.

Despite not having an ailment though, it still had its share of blows being sent its way. One of Yumiko's attacks even critically singed the monster with a blazing wave of fire cooking and searing the same spot on its stomach.

The fire burns much deeper than the creature was prepared for, hitting a weak spot of it and eating away at its flesh where Wolf had struck it before. A beam from the mechanical warrior below it also managed to hit it, but it didn't do nearly as much damage as the prior blows. The beast kept holding its ground, crying out in pain here and there, but remaining vigilant. After the constant pummeling, the beast noticed the group stopped attacking for a moment, and took initiative firstly going after Wolf for that throttle to the stomach. It thrusts one of its arms at Wolf with its talons out in a swiping motion trying to rend him.

Next, the large serpent bats its eyes to Yumiko and emits super sonic waves of sound from its mouth with its jaw almost dropping to the floor while these sound waves engulf her.

Banshee Bellow To Yumiko (DC to dodge is 15. Will do 23% Sound based DMG with a 25% chance to lower DEX by 2 points if it hits.)

Additionally, it attacks Yumiko again since she did so much damage to it, it held resentment towards her leaving Ghor alone this round. It stamps the ground and summons a big glob of water in front of it out of thin air, and then forms it into a liquid chain with a sickle shape at the end and fires it at Yumiko from a distance.

River Rend To Yumiko (DC to dodge is 14. Will do 25% DMG if it hits with a 12% chance to invoke the Soak Ailment.)

Satisfied with its efforts, it roars in toughness, shaking the vicinity, then lying in wait for the team's next move, and watching very closely full of malicious thoughts.

Wolf was glad to notice that the big behemoth was starting to feel the heat as it were. The group still had a ways to go with it, as its fighting spirit had not yet dwindled, but at least the creature was looking manageable to fend off between the three of them. With his keen senses, Wolf senses the creature begin its attack on him and leaps backwards to try and dodge the oncoming talons.

The efforts of the sewer serpent were in vain. Wolf methodically avoids the attack and watches the beast as it continues to try and pummel Yumiko with two more vicious moves. "This thing doesn't like you much does it, sister? Maybe I oughta draw its attention some more. HEY, UGLY!" Wolf shouts up at the beast and takes out one of his Smart Pup devices, and chucks it at the enemy to draw its attention and cause a nice explosion.

The device detonates immediately upon touching the monster's skin blowing up after connecting to its head with an accurately placed lodge of Wolf's paw doing 15% DMG. "That's right, that's right. He smirks, looking down at his Deflector and tapping it, overclocking its frequency somewhat when he believes he has its full attention, then aims from afar at its stomach again, making a picture frame with his claws, licking his chops, and once the energy of his Deflector surrounds him enough, he crouches down, and leaps into the air and begins to twirl. He builds the twirling motion into an insanely fast speed turning his body into a living drill and launching himself at the foe's tummy again. "HIYAAAAA!" He lets the adrenaline take him.

The drill movement was so fast and precise, the creature hardly saw it coming or would have a chance to react to the maneuver, and Wolf drills into its already damaged stomach region nailing into its flesh even more trying to tear away at the gut to cut it open getting closer to puncturing the skin.

He does not yet manage to cause bleeding from its abdominals or manages to cut the skin open, but he does get it closer to that point. Because of his near perfect execution of the move, he was able to drill into the enemy longer than intended, then stops after a decent chunk of time, and leaps back to the ground claws back out, points at the stomach yet again and continues his relentless tactic. "I got more for ya stinky!" He jumps back up to the enemy and slashes at the stomach again.

With his claws at the ready, he is eager to keep hacking away for more. He took a breather first before his next go at the giant. "Not much longer now until you croak you hideous toad." He watches waiting for another perfect moment to strike.

The Tyrants sure weren't slouches, that was for certain. The hedgehog had to quickly pivot backward to just barley miss getting hit by the bubbles that tyrant was sending his way. Shadow skillfully sidestepped the attempt the third one took to try and bite him, but the sight of the monster viciously trying to bite the Ultimate Life Form sent a chill up his spine, and the hedgehog couldn't avoid being slapped by the same Tyrant.

Despite not having his abilities, however, Shadow did manage to resist the ailment that could've badly affected him had he been a little less fortunate. But now was the time for his counter attack. Krystal seemed to have missed the hedgehog's suggestion, but it hardly mattered anyway. The hedgehog intended to take the tyrant out himself anyway. The hedgehog slowly brought his katana and leaped into the air before slicing at the space in front of him, sending a shockwave right at the same Tyrant.

Beating down the bloodied and broken one almost seemed cruel, and while the hedgehog was usually more than willing to push himself, this wasn't a situation where he could allow his pride to risk recklessness. It was hard to tell why, but he couldn't shake the feeling that the consequences would be colossal if he did. The hedgehog glared at the same Tyrant again before rolling into a ball and ramming right into the creature's legs.

The hedgehog then tried to swerve to hit the first Tyrant since that last blow should've finished that Tyrant off, but it missed.

He then placed his hands on his knees as he flipped head over heels, and skillfully landed on his feet before turning to glare at that first Tyrant.

She gasped in pain but looked at the creature in anger over what he did, she touched the back of her head to see it was now bleeding because of the move...

At least she wasn’t soaked, barely, if she was thrown down into the sewer water then maybe.

”Definitely not.” Yumiko said to Wolf, but she kept a positive smile despite what had just happened.

”But thats okay, it’s trying to kill us so, I don’t like it either.” She then looked back at the Hunter in anger as her hands lit up once more.

”But we’re going to make sure that its biggest regret was attacking us.” She looked at Wolf and Ghor, before jumping forward and firing her lightning based attacks towards the Hunter.

Watching the beast carefully, Ghor kept a wide gait, ready to jump at a moment’s notice. Given the creature’s natural speed and strength, he was taking no chances about getting caught unawares, especially when his frail body made him such an easy target. As it turned out though, the creature had some base-level thinking, enough to see Yumiko as a threat after she managed to strike it with a well-placed flurry of fire. The beast managed to knock the girl back, slamming her against a nearby wall with a glob of water. It shouldn’t have done that.

Ghor’s optics flashed over to the reptilian monster as Wolf did his best to distract it. His efforts would not go to waste. Ghor’s arsenal was quite limited when it came to organic creatures, he was a tech expert, not an exterminator, however, being prepared for all circumstances was the bounty hunter way. Reaching into his chest compartment, Ghor pulled out a small vial labelled Delfino Goop. It was often most effective against Starvia infected creatures, though who knows what secrets this sewer dwelling beast held. “This should provide a much needed boost!” the cyborg hollered as he lobbed the vial, aiming directly at the creature’s back.

After the glass vial shattered and drenched the beast in the sloppy goop, Ghor readied his wrist mounted cannon once more. “This is precisely what I was talking about before, I might as well be an automated turret” he dryly jested as he unleashed another round of power beams

Each pellet of light smacked against the creature’s back, causing the goop to bubble and shift. It was somewhat amusing watching it. “Hm, actually, perhaps I should consider making a duplicate of myself that just a walking gun with legs. It would be quite useful in a situation like this” he mused with a hand to his non-existent chin. Immediately following that, he released a stream of pure plasma from his weapon, singeing the beast’s back.

Krystal dodged to the side of the first Tyrant's swipe at her, before ducking under the extended arm of the second, the claws of the horrible creature just barely grazing the tips of here ears. She took a breath in relief, but that Tyrant wasn't done with her yet! The monster threw up some of the most horrible smelling bile that Krystal had ever had the misfortune of smelling. In a slight panic, Krystal threw her staff in the way of the disgusting juices, and a force field erupted from the tip, shielding Krystal from the poison for now. Now actually breathing a sigh of relief, Krystal disengaged the shield as the Tyrants went for her other two comrades, one of them finally meeting it's end at Shadow's spines. ("So they're defeatable, at least. That's good") Krystal thought for anyone to hear her. That was enough to restore a bit of confidence. They just needed to keep fighting. 

Straightening up again, Krystal swung her staff in front of her for a few seconds before taking aim at one of the other tyrants, the one that didn't seem to have a mark on it. Well, she'd definitely have to change that, shouldn't she? Pulling something out of her suit, Krystal tossed a Smart Bomb from hand to hand, before lobbing it into the crowd of enemies. "Incoming!" she called out.

Unfortunately, while her warning would have been enough to alert Shadow and Vincent, Krystal herself was not so lucky, getting caught up in the blast and singeing her fur as a result. A bit roasted, but undaunted, Krystal continued her assault, launching a another burst of fire from the tip of her staff, before following it up with a few staff strikes at the first of these ugly creatures.

Through the valiant efforts of the group, Tyrant 2 gets chopped into various small pieces and the multiple body parts dissolve into green acid onto the ground. Its colleagues notice this and flinch with both panic and anger; an interesting combo of emotions. Then there were two. The hedgehog continued his rigorous attack adding one more additional blow changing targets to Tyrant 1, which successfully and critically hit it for superb damage and also caused it to stagger and hit one of the metal pipes against the wall of the room. Steam spewed out into the space agitating its boils and blisters on its body. 

Tyrant 1's DC to hit has been decreased by 2 thanks to Shadow. Shadow also deals environmental damage bringing the 15% up to 20 on the enemy.

Next, Krystal brought out the big guns...er...big bomb. She chucked a smart bomb with as much accuracy as her canine arms would allow at the group of enemies. It would have missed at least 1 and hit the other had Shadow not busted a pipe with a previous attack. Because of the damaged piping, the bomb's explosive radius widened feeding off the steam adding more impact to the enemies and also adding more damage to the environment. The bomb tore into much of the rest of the pipework in the engine room causing various explosions and gas leaks throughout the area. Some more alarms began to sound! The room also began to fall apart! Yikes! It is only a matter of time before the entire engine room explodes now.

Due to environmental damage, Krystal's smart bomb hits both enemies adding +2 to her roll bringing it up to 14 on the roll, and bringing the damage up to 40%. Both enemies are now burning to death.

The engine room will explode in 3 character turns. The enemies must be defeated before then and the group evacuated out of the room, or everyone will be trophified.


Though the bomb did its duty, and the enemies ate a big chunk of damage with their bodies flailing around the room like a deflated balloon with the mechanics of a rag doll then eventually falling back to the ground, Krystal's efforts also added complications that the group now had to think on their feet to deal with. As things were exploding around the group, she continues digging into to Tyrant 1 whom now appears to be missing chunks of its flesh from the explosion. The first blast from her staff misses, the second physical attack from her staff also misses. Must be all the steam and FLAMES EVERYWHERE MAYBE! BUT, she gets a hit in with her staff on the third try. And also adds more fire damage to the already burning corpse.

She hits the same Tyrant again with her staff, she's really going at it! Like a bow staff martial artist impressing a crowd of flaming corpses, she is a one fox show! Rainbow Square could really use another fire dancer and Krystal would fit the bill. She then hits it AGAIN, ok...I think it gets the picture? Good lord. It's like mush now.

After the, well, to put it bluntly, burning inferno that just occurred unexpectedly, or maybe, a little expectedly, the two Tyrants were now only a shell of the flesh eating monsters they were. They now both looked like burning charbroiled stuntmen who forgot to wear their fire suits. Tyrant 1 is on the ground scratching for life while its bottom torso has been severed and legs burned off. But somehow it was still alive. Who knows how useful in battle it will be now though, it may get creative. Tyrant 3 was still standing, but the right half of its body was burning. Its left side was mostly in tact, but its left foot was broken and disgustingly twisted up. Its claw on the left side was still however raring to go.

With whatever was left of the two of them, they proceeded to attack with what remained of their bodies and abilities. Not backing down despite everything burning around them. Because of their bodies burning, the fire singes away their acidic bile and infecting juices searing the flesh and liquids inside and outside of them so their attacks no longer had the potential to infect others. What luck. They are literally just body bags of dry bones and a few limbs. FREE TARGETS YAY! But with the spirit of fight still filling their dark souls, Tyrant 1 attempts to pathetically strike Shadow in a kind of....hop of doom? Launching itself at Shadow jutting its left arm out using what remained of its claw to slash at the hedgehog.

After that limp of a leap and swipe of its pruny claw, it then turns around to Shadow again flinging its body at him with a heave of its not very strong arms trying to tackle Shadow.

Tyrant 1 Disgusting Tackle at Shadow. Upon hit, it will do 10% DMG. No added effects. DC to dodge is 9.

The Tyrant then looks at Krystal with unforgiving eyes after she burned nearly everything off its body worth keeping, and starts spit firing globs of rapidly shot balls of green goo at her from its prone position.

Tyrant 1 Spit Bullet at Krystal. Upon hit, it will do a combinable effect of 5% DMG each shot. It will shoot in a group of 3 burning spit globs at Krystal. No added effects. DC to dodge is 10.

Tyrant 3 then takes action next on the group. He is a bit more healthier and lively than his counterpart. He licks his lips and lets out a screech of horror giving as much energy as it could in one full force attack on both Shadow and Krystal. Hate and rage fuel its large and impactful next move. The zombie like creature raises its claw and then lowers it directly in front of its eyes and suddenly its fingers and talons stretch and launch at all opponents; Vincent, Krystal and Shadow, spewing like the roots of a tree in a spring loaded assault. Each talon on its claw drills into the three foes with all five of its fingers in a creepy stretched long distance attack.


Tyrant 3 Terror Tendrils on all team members. Will do 21% DMG to each foe. No added effects. DC to dodge is 13. Tyrant 3 cannot perform any more attacks this turn due to the strain of the move on its limb.

The fight was getting way too out of hand. The room itself was now crumbling and the fires raged all around the group. Alarms blaring. Vincent looked at Krystal annoyed. "What have you done?" He then remembers Shadow busting the pipe earlier and shakes his head. "Both of you." He sighs. He sees one of the enemies unleashing an attack stretching its talons at the group. Vincent tries to dodge.

Vincent methodically side dashes out of the way and then takes out Cerberus after seeing the enemies were still alive, though barely, and aims it at them with a sneer. "That's fine. We'll just finish you quicker and reach the top of this hellish tower letting this stepping stone turn to dust. I want my revenge. On those at the top of this place. For what they did to me. BURST SHOT!" Vincent fires Cerberus after the enemy attack from both its barrels at the foes hitting both Tyrants with as much accuracy as he could muster through the veil of flames and smoke in front of the team. If it hits it will do 20% DMG to all enemies with a 30% burn chance adding to their already severe burns.

"A pity. Let's keep it going shall we?" Vincent grins enjoying the challenge even in their bad shape. Vincent then clicks a button on his gun and cocks it. "Rapid fire. SCATTER SCAR!" Cerberus suddenly becomes like a machine gun. He unleashes a shower of bullets on both enemies feeding them slug after slug for a few seconds of torture. If it hits, it will do 23% DMG with a hefty cooldown of 3 turns due to Cerberus overheating as a consequence of such a fast shell shock. No added effects.

"Now, that pathetic crawling one. I'll finish you." Vincent takes a step back flipping his cape behind him and reveals his right hand with metal claws etching from it, and points at Tyrant 1. "This is your end. METAL MASSACRE." He dashes at the Tyrant slashing into its neck with the move aiming his metallic claws into the vain of the neck looking for bloodshed and a direct hit. If it hits the mark, it will do 20% DMG with 40% chance of Bleeding ailment.

Tyrant 1 gets a direct slash to its jugular causing blood to squirt from its throat and splatter to the ground. Vincent maniacally smiles after the move landing gracefully next to Shadow and Krystal turning to them and bowing proud of his work. "Spectacular work on my end if I do say so myself. I do believe that doesn't leave much left of the first bloke does it? Only good news considering we need to escape from this room before we become ash." The flames raged around the team without signs of stopping. The room would collapse any minute.

Wolf was causing the beast immense pain in its stomach region. It felt its abdominals churn and its intestines about to pop out of its skin any moment. The flesh on its belly was extremely tender and it would take little to nothing to cause it to finally rupture and create a giant mess all over the team. Not to mention the headache it was getting after having an explosive thrown at its head. The scaly monster suddenly grows woozy. The earlier maneuver Wolf did to its stomach with the drill like motion seemed it may have done more than the creature thought. It looks down to make sure the wolf has not ruptured it. 

Crit Confirm from Wolf Dart: p_1d20 (CRITICAL HIT!)

CRITICAL HIT! Indeed the creature's stomach was slit open as the skin slowly began to tear. Blood flowed like a waterfall out of its stomach and seeped into the river below. It moans in terror fighting to keep its balance. The additional attack with Wolf's claws after that move only added to the blood flow. The tear was much bigger than what was assumed because of it. The creature bled out at an accelerated rate. As it bled out Yumiko fried it to death with multiple lightning strikes causing the beast to teeter and naturally begin to fall backwards. And as it fell, Ghor flung a jar of goop at it for good measure, that's right, overkill! JEEZE! Poisonous goo scattered all over its body.

The beast is now severely poisoned. The acid from the goo instantly began to eat away at the monster's flesh causing the group to see its insides and holes form all around its body. Its guts and chunks of skin then began to fall out of it. The place started to smell like rotten fish now as this gory show was filling the vicinity. Or should I say, GHORY show. Heeheehee.

On top of that, the robot fired several burning laser beams at the creature just as it fell and shook the floor making even more holes in it. Now blood was pretty much gushing out of every pore. God, it's everywhere. The entire water beneath the group was a crimson red. Ghor then fires a final beam at it.

The beam doesn't then cause the now corpse to burn, but in which, after just a brief moment, actually causes the monster to explode in chunks upon chunks of disgusting flesh and bone! 

The team got showered with it. Staining their clothing and everything in between. A shower will most definitely be needed after this is all over. It rained for a good minute or so nothing but monster mush. Eventually, after it stopped, there was the sound of alarms blaring again and the smell of smoke from above coming from the manhole adjacent to the ladder near the group. They should probably find a way out of there.

Wolf watches in complete awe at the capacity in which the team blew the monster to bits. He was actually enjoying this, smiling cheek to cheek. Watching like a little Life Sphere child during the Celebration of Life Firework Show at the splendor of a corpse shower. Or perhaps like a Young Toad getting the honor of being hired on to the Toad Police Force and firing its weapon for the first time or swinging its baton. Chunks of flesh and splatters of blood decorate his fur and clothing. He looked almost psychotic in such a dressing. Though he surely wasn't, he had to be composed these days.

"Ah, it's like my birthday all over again." His grin turns into a sadistic smug, making one wonder which birthday he spoke of; but he quickly snaps out of his day dreaming and looks to the group, whom were both equally drenched in such excrement and laughs. "I think you all have a little something on your faces. But I'm sure you're likely used to that. Part of the job right?" He gives them a wink and then takes out a kerchief from his pocket slowly wiping each cheek and then in his ears. He gets an idea and looks at Ghor.

"Hey tin man. I don't suppose you have a water hose or a blow dryer in those clunky compartments of yours to clean us up do you?" He was just assuming this ofcourse, but, hey, one never knows and it doesn't hurt to ask. He then sniffs the air and manages to pick up the scent of smoke through all the rotting flesh smell and eyes the ladder and sees the smoke billowing from the manhole. He points at it.

"There! Let's climb and make sure the others are ok!" His eye scanner picks up on something. Intense heat signatures. "I believe there is a serious fire engulfing the room above. We have to check on them." He was captain obvious with that statement, but at least he can safely confirm the danger. The sound of alarms also filled the air. "Not again." He growls. Things were definitely not getting easier despite the victory the team just had.


But before Wolf could move forward to the rest of the group up above, he remembered The Master Hand he had witnessed. Luckily he left the gate unlocked, if the immediate team nearest him could just indulge him for a few seconds, maybe they would collectively decide to save it and the hand could help them somehow with whatever was going on above them. But then again, it could take advantage of being freed and attack the team, putting them all behind on advancing into the base and saving the others in the flames.


"I know we're short on time folks, but, there is something I'd like you to see before we head up there. I almost forgot. It won't take long to make a decision about it. It could help us with the threat above." He was trying to persuade the team to listen and follow him to Master Hand. It was up to them to say yes or no.

He made his way to the gate where Master Hand was locked up behind. He wondered if the team would indulge him or split off to the ladder and check on the fire. It wouldn't take long, and Wolf had a strong desire to make sure Master Hand had fair judgment from everyone, or face its doom decaying and rotting down here in chains.

Yumiko watched the Hunter as she and everyone else delivered their final attacks towards it. Something was getting weird in regards to it, which was likely the fault of the Facility above them. It might have been a failed experiment that they threw down into the sewers hoping that the rats would devour it, but something looked like it was about to happen now that the group had dealt enough damage towards it.

"Why is it---But then it exploded, and Yumiko covered herself, unfortunately it wasn't enough to stop the chunks of flesh that landed on her. She looked at her now already dirty clothes in disgust, thanks to the Sewers and her falling into the water during the fight making the clothes dirty before that, she wiped off the chunks of Hunter the best that she could, having not brought herself a handkerchief unlike Wolf.

"Someone exploded on your birthday!?" Yumiko surprised that Wolf wasn't traumatised by such a thing, although it probably helped shaped him into what he became today and Wolf said to her and Ghor that people exploding was part of the job, which he was right somewhat.

"It, wouldn't be the first time that I did something like this." Yumiko thought back about a, nemory that happened to her back in her world involving people exploding.

But now wasn't the time to be thinking about those darks memories. It was time to finally head into the Facilty properly and try to find Shadow and Krystal. However, she began to smell smoke from above the hole that her and Ghor had previously climbed up through and down from.

Which, as Wolf found out through scanning, was fire, Yumiko looked up at the hole again.

"It would be dangerous then if we go up from there. Who knows how much fire there is, it would be difficult to move through it. I do have wind power, but there could be a chance of it spreading some more instead of just clearing the fire." Yumiko pointed out, she looked at the gate that Wolf now wanted to go through.

"Maybe there's another entryway to the Facility down there too anyway that's more safer to go in." Still though, Yumiko was now worried that Krystal and Shadow may have been caught up in that fire. It was likely too dangerous now to go up and check, as they might not even be in the area. She just hoped that they were in a safe area of the Facility that had less fire and monsters similar to the Hunter, so Yumiko decided to follow Wolf to see what exactly he found before the Hunter had found him.

As Yumiko began to walk into the path, she turned towards Ghor, who was talking about making a duplicate of himself during the battle with the Hunter, she smiled. "Your perfect just the way you are. I know that might sound somewhat cliché but you are, good as you are, although the more the merrier." She said to the robot man, before touching her forehead again as she looked down at the wound that she had gotten during that fight.

Since she had gotten the most damage it seemed from that battle. Yumiko decided to take the time to heal herself the best she could with dia before she could see Wolf's discovery.

And she didn't want her head to bleed some more.

Because of how powerful the healing spell is, she will have to wait until five turns pass until she is able to use it again.)

Flowers quickly appeared when Yumiko touched her head wound and healed it, which quickly sunk into the water that she was standing in, with her wound somewhat dealt with. Yumiko looked forward to see what it was that Wolf found, stopping in her tracks as she did so.

And saw that it was, some sort of hand that was chained to the wall.

"A, giant hand?" She looked at the Master Hand, suspicious as to why something like this was here and chained to the wall, and notice the slight purple aura that was arising from it.

"There's some purple air coming out of him. There must be a reason as to why he was chained up here. It's very likely that he has starvia, or that new virus... Is it... Breathing?" Yumiko felt as though that they had something to do with the Master Hand's presence and why it was chained up. She had the feeling that if it was released, it could spell doom to everyone that's involved, so she wasn't lenient of it getting set free, but she did want to hear what Wolf and Ghor wanted to do in regards to the Master Hand as well.

p_1d20+4 (Shadow uses his Spin Counter on Tyrant 1's Disgusting Tackle, making this attack the Tyrant's final mistake. Due to Shadow's Spin Counter causing 1.5x the damage, the tyrant's 10% of damage meant for Shadow turns into 15% for the Tyrant, which means the Tyrant is dead.)

Shadow quite easily stepped away from the creature's first attempt at trying to hurt Shadow, and seeing as this display was already getting pretty sad at this point, the hedgehog put the creature out of his misery by rolling into a ball and spinning, causing high winds to kick up around him. This caused the creature's own momentum to be thrown back at him, and although he may have still been capable of attacking Krystal, but due to Vincent's efforts, Tyrant 1 would for certain be no more.

Shadow, however, was not so successful in his attempts to avoid the next attack. It seemed that the hedgehog was still trying to get a hold of himself after spinning so much before being smacked in the back by one, sending the hedgehog flying a few inches. However, the hedgehog was quick to recover, and managed to start rolling on the ground again before turning around and aiming more of an assault on the final remaining Tyrant. The hedgehog would aim his attacks at its legs a total of three times before changing tactics, each time making its mark quite solidly.

It was at this point that Shadow realized the dire situation they were all in all of a sudden due to Krystal's smart bombs, and and it wasn't until Vincent scolded the two of them that Shadow had noticed he apparently had broken a pipe of some kind. "Just focus on taking the rest out and getting out!" Shadow barked back simply, before he started running directly to the final Tyrant, jumping in the air and then rolling into a ball, aiming directly at the creature's chest. The impact would cause the creature to be forced backward, while Shadow gracefully landed on the ground and started running at the creature again.

The hedgehog's yellow aura started to form around him, and as the hedgehog let out a yell, he jumped and rammed directly into the creature's stomach head first, and hard, causing the propulsion of the Homing Attack to continue even further than it would have otherwise. Shadow then landed on his feet, completing his revenge for that tendril attack hitting.

Ghor kept his weapon trained on the Hunter beast, even after Wolf managed to gore it so thoroughly. Considering how spontaneously dangerous it was, and likely infected, it was best to not underestimate when it would meet its demise. That said, perhaps Ghor was a bit overzealous in his pursuit to absolutely annihilate the beast, as his plasma beam seemed to dish out a bit more than the creature’s lifeless body could take. It suddenly exploded, bits of its body flying everywhere, guts splashing in the murky crimson water, fluid spraying in Ghor’s face. It made his steel-coloured body a bit browner in tone, but it was nothing he couldn’t scrub off at a later date. Hopefully it didn’t gunk up his servos.

“Well, that certainly can’t be healthy” he quipped simply as he wiped his optics clean. Wolf was certainly right though, unknown hostile creatures spraying their innards all over your face and body was not a new experience, in fact, it was one of the many hazards of the job, though Wolf seemed to be enjoying it a bit more than Ghor normally would. Maybe it was a primal wolf thing.

At Wolf question, Ghor did search his chest compartment briefly, even if it was sarcastic in manner. “Hm, yes and no. I do have an airship in the vicinity with exhaust engines strong enough to dry us all off in an instant. It’s just as likely to set you both on fire, but such is the risk of cleanliness I suppose” he stated with a thoughtful tap of his metal cheek.

At the sound of the blaring alarm, Ghor’s head swung toward the manhole, the one that housed the mystery room. His optics switched to thermal vision along with Wolf’s visor, detecting the massive surge of heat stemming from the neighbouring room. There was no question about it, Shadow and Krystal were definitely in the midst of something dangerous, he only hoped that his Ditto clone had helped matters. Regardless, they needed their support and they needed it now.

Ghor motioned to the ladder, ready to go for round two, but Wolf had a proposition to make first. It seemed that Wolf had managed to find more than just a bit of trouble when they split off not too long ago, something he needed a second opinion on, which meant it must be something quite troubling.

Before they followed down the path that Wolf had taken, Yumiko approached him briefly. His head bowed. “Some don’t seek perfection, but rather atonement” he spoke gently. “I appreciate the sentiment nonetheless.” It was brief, but for the sake of pushing along to more important matters, it had to be. As he raced down the path though, he briefly wondered about that joke of his, perhaps a miniature mobile gun artillery would be a good idea for a future design.

Ghor was put at pause as they reached the end of the tunnel, Master Hand bound up by chains like a wild animal on display. It had a purple aura to it, suggesting many things, including that it was possibly infected by Starvia, or perhaps something much worse. If it was locked up in the sewers of all places, it was likely some kind of rejected test subject, left to rot by its creators. With it being locked up like this, that meant it was likely out of their control, or even out of its own mind.

Ghor’s empathetic nature told him to set the poor creature free, allow it a fair chance to escape the facility should it still have any of its own control over its own faculties. At the same time though, it might be too far gone, a perversion of what it once was. But then again, Ghor was the same way not too long ago, a slave to the Phazon that corrupted his body. He was allowed the chance to atone, this creature should be allowed the same. That said, it would be illogically dangerous for them to remove the chains while they were still in the room, so Ghor approached the area where the chains were anchored into the wall.

“If its been chained up, the person who did it knows its dangerous. Wouldn’t it be unfortunate for them if it was somehow set free?” Ghor asked with an ironic twist to his tone. He placed a grenade in the chains’ anchor. “We can remotely detonate these, set this creature free without being in the same room as it. That way, if it decides to destroy everything in its path, we won’t be the first thing it can get its hand on” he explained as he held up another grenade, ready to place it on the opposite side of the chained up creature.

As the first Tyrant spat its awful-smelling gunk toward her, Krystal started weaving quickly in between its shots, before giving her staff as spin in order to deflect the last one. She could feel the heat of the flames on her fur, and she started panting a bit. That Smart Bomb, despite the name, was not one of Krystal's smarter ideas. This room looked like it was about to collapse at any second! At any rate though, the remaining Tyrants seemed to be suffering just as much from the heat as they were. However, Krystal wouldn't have time to just stand around. As the third Tyrant's tendrils stretched their way toward her, Krystal leapt out of the way and onto a little bit of higher ground. Hopefully this was enough to keep away from that thing!

Readying her staff once again, Krystal fires another blast of razor-sharp wind toward the remaining Tyrant as Shadow handily takes care of the one that's was practically already melting. She didn't know if this would help put out the fires or make them worse, but they didn't really have much to lose at this point. They just needed to take care of this one creep, and they'd be able to get the heck out of there!

Unfortunately, the gusts of wind missed their mark, and far from damaging the Tyrant, Krystal seemed to only make it mad. No matter, though. If this thing wanted to play rough, then Krystal would gladly oblige! Pointing the head of her staff toward the ugly, shuffling creature, and letting icy blue energy build on it's tip, Krystal let loose a blast of freezing cold energy toward the target. It might not freeze it, but it'll definitely hurt!

This thing wasn't quite down yet. But they couldn't afford to waste any more time! This room was only a few steps away from completely collapsing on them! Krystal had to do something, and quickly! Then she had an idea. Collapsing her staff, she rather clumsily spawned a rather heavy-duty looking machine gun from....well, do you want to answer that? She aimed at the Tyrant and lets loose everything scrap of energy that the gun had. While her hand were a little shaky and her aim was slightly off, it still didn't diminish the damage that a hail of blaster lasers could do!
