Shadow/Krystal
The first of the duo entering the industrialized and rather eerie space after some inspection time of the area, made his way to the corner with the paperwork; the hedgehog experiment found a nugget of much needed information indeed.
A photograph; possibly of one of the engineers or scientists that worked in this facility and his family. Something perhaps to keep him focused and sane at work as he helped craft the future horrors this building contained, or at least played some small part in whatever went down here. Maybe he didn't have a choice? If Shadow would flip the photograph over he would find a note which read;
The note itself was mainly more personal than anything else; surely meant to be shipped out or delivered somewhere that may or may not still exist. Based on the letter the gentleman who wrote it was around at the very beginning of the Life Sphere's creation before it was even conceived. And somehow manipulated or pressured into deviating away from a project that saved thousands of lives and counting, and pushed to work on something that is surely meant to do the exact opposite.
Because this letter is so aged, he was beyond dead at this point - and his family; likely as well. Perhaps a sliver of hope remained for his family however, though much older now, they could still be alive. But that is a mystery for another day. The code marked on the paper would come in handy at a later time assuredly. What it was for exactly would likely reveal itself or, if it was any use at all anymore, the proper time and place was not yet imminent. Was it even useful anymore at all? Its motive remains unknown for now.
Next, Shadow finds his way onward to the stoke. He wraps a firm and steady hand around the knob of the furnace and pulls it effortlessly open. A few puffs of dust escape its hatch and afterwards, there is a small opened black case with vials laying within them. There are 4 or so emanating a curious fluorescent purple color. Next to it he finds another note, smaller, and ripped at the edges, the note reads:
There is no telling what exactly it would cure, or any other information besides what is written that it may elude to. But it seemed upon finding this discovery, Shadow would most definitely need to keep it close.
Once Shadow finished his searching, Krystal would find some discoveries of her own. She first started for the crate, and opened it with no issue. Once the lid came off she had found more than she bargained for or expected. The sight was horrific of her findings and something only the very worst kind of evil and deceitful beings on Li would ever do. Kill. A deed well passed the point of trophification that very few sadistic beings knew the method of doing. And with no remorse. For this case it happened to be a result of a corpse. Moreover, a part of a corpse.
The crate possessed a severed head, no doubt of one of the workers here on site. Looking at it would easily make the strong willed even puke after gazing too much into its lifeless eyes. But if she were to look passed the carnage and more around the crate, she would find a blood soaked lab coat and a key card hanging from its right pocket. The name showed "Tajiro Shenobe". She could grab it if she'd like, without anything stopping her except maybe her own fear if she had any in this moment. Next she busted open the lock of the tool box beside the crate, and found a weapon, more particularly a gun with interesting engravings...
It would be no interest to her own personal use however, as the gun seems warded and protected with something. The markings on it glew brightly and would burn hot in anyone's hands who tried to use it. Perhaps only finding use to a certain wielder. A wielder that will know its nearby should the owner of this weapon be around. However, if it perhaps were kept in the tool box and brought along it could be useful later should the right individual and situation show themselves.
Lastly upon Krystal's findings, she noticed the odd symbol on the crate and using her intellect she was able to discern what it was. A symbol she perhaps has seen on a mission log or someone's dossier, or maybe a distant memory she cannot quite put her finger on.
It was an umbrella that held meaning throughout the spans of time before Li was even a thought. It found its way even here in this mis mash of chaos and disarray, the symbol still lives to instill both fear and danger - wherever this icon is seen nothing good ever follows. There may be more of these hidden around the entire vicinity, and following their trail may lead to something important or crucial to where the group treaded. Upon finishing their search momentarily, there were still two areas yet to be studied by the duo.
The freezing cold door sealed tight; and the flickering light around the corner that would advance the two of them into another room where unknown horrors are sure to lurk, or if they're lucky, just the warmth of a light and the safety of its glare. They'd have to find out eventually or be stuck in this room trapped in their heads with the nightmare that came true within these walls. Currently they have not been found out by whatever lurks in the remains of this base yet, due to this room likely being of no use to anything dwelling in the area, but that could change if they don't advance soon.
((The frosted door if someone tries to open it, or both of you, has grown in difficulty to budge. Due to the cold wind blowing beyond the door it has now become more frozen and harder to open. A STR Roll of 19 or more is required to open the door. Two chances to roll.))
((If the door is ignored and it is preferred to go down the corner turning hallway with the flickering light, there is no rolling required - simply advance.))
Wolf/Ghor/Yumiko
With a good nose and sharp canine like senses, Wolf was able to discover a secret passageway within the underground tunnel system behind a wall and dice it to pieces with his razor talons. Once it crumbled he called for the others and they followed him closely. Slowly they trekked along the path beyond the wall with dimly lit torches on the surrounding walls from the path providing some low lighting along the way. Trudging on deeper down the path, they would notice the sewer water below them start changing from a murky brown hue to a crimson red. The group finds themselves approaching the source of some kind of massacre.
The color hinted signs of obvious blood in the water. As they followed the path corner to corner they come to an opening with a ladder straight ahead and two closed gates to the left and right of the ladder. They were made of iron and seemed locked. In the middle of the room the water seemed more at a risen level. And the color of the water an even deeper red than their path prior.
The redness of the water seemed to stream from only one of the gated doorways. Nothing from the ladder, and nothing from the other doorway. Blocking all those paths however, was A single figure floating in the middle of the room resting atop the surface of the water which would rise to about hip height of an average sized person. This floating figure was not though, average sized. If the group etched closer they would notice it was much bigger. It had bulging muscles and appeared shirtless. Its eyes were closed and it had no hair. Its limbs could not be seen immediately since they were submerged deep into the water, but its skin was a murky yellow.
Looking at it from a distance it had to not be human. Maybe, not anymore anyway. It had human features that appeared to be male, and it was quite large in its stature. It was hard to tell however if it was alive or dead. Or...resting? The group could try one of the three paths and attempt passing it untouched, or walk closer and see if it would be of any threat. It too, was drenched in blood. One wrong step however, and they may awaken if not it, something else in the vicinity entirely. They would have to risk the next steps and choose a direction, what they decide will merit an appropriate response based on action.
((A DEX Roll of 17 or more is required to pass the floating specimen in the room without any reaction from it or anything else that may be nearby. Then one of the three directions must be decided to go with. Only one chance to roll each person. If even one person rolls lower than the designated number required it will trigger an event in the room.))

The path has been set by Wolf and the others. They stayed close to each other traversing the watery domain in caution. The further down the path they went however, the more danger seemed to lurk. The water turned into a blood red. The rancid smell of it filled Wolf's nostrils and he slightly gagged. He looked down in surprise and flinched. "What...the hell?" He ensured the others were seeing the same thing. "This sewer system is filling up with blood. We need to be careful. Even in this secret passageway, I don't think we're safe." After the warning he turns his nose back to a forward direction and keeps pressing on, trampling through the blood soaked water with the hairs of his fur standing up.
He thought to himself with racing panic, what could they be walking into. We can't turn back now. We can't let whatever is causing this make their way to the Life Sphere. It would be too high a threat and only grow stronger if we try and escape now. Stay focused, Wolf. Not long after his thoughts appeared, he found himself walking into an opening. He immediately noticed the blood in the water was strongest in this opening, and two gates and a ladder at the far end of the space. But also, something else. A floating body, with streaks of blood dripping from its skin. It wasn't human either, it was a large bulk of some kind of creature.
Wolf stops his advance and signals the others behind him to wait. He presses on his scanner connected to his eye and studies the room. He detects heat signals coming from only one of the gated rooms and a faint heat signature coming from the body. Was it...alive? He couldn't be sure. But he did notice it looked just like one of the creatures that attacked him last time he treaded this area just outside the base. Now the group was inside though, and it was a whole new ball game.
Wolf addresses the group and makes a decision. "Alright. I'll go first, it doesn't look like the odds are in anyone's favor here. I think there's more than one living threat around these parts. But let's see if I can inch passed that thing and avoid it quietly if it is in fact alive. I am sure it was the same type of creature that attacked me before. Be ready for anything." With a few steady steps, Wolf begins to try and evade the floating body and go the direction of the ladder being careful not to splash his heavy boots in the water too much as he went.
DEX Roll for sneaking passed the creepy thing (VJu9fUxEp_1d20 + 3)
CRITICAL SUCCESS! Wolf covertly treads the water with light feet and doesn't make a sound, passing the floating figure and reaching the base of the ladder. He looks up and sees a flickering light beating against a hatch resting atop the ladder. That must be a way into the base. He looks back at the others and gives a hand gesture to try and get them to move ahead. He knows he was more trained in the art of his own dexterity than alot of others, but he also had faith in his team's skills. The other passageways were options as well, but he hoped the team would make the same choice and shoot for the ladder. He said nothing trying to stay silent in case the elephant in the room as it were - still had a heart beat and possibly even a thirst for blood. Using only body language he would wait to see how his teammates faired with the given situation unless one of them fails and attracts an enemy - then Wolf would have to strike.
