Variant Rules: -This mission will have multiple occasions where your character can be inflicted with the "Zombified" status. This happens if they are bitten by the enemy within the mission. You will often roll against these "Zombification" stats. If you get successfully bit, your character becomes mutated into a zombie version of themselves lowering all STATS by 3 and forcing all moves and attack attempts made to be randomized targets. Meaning your intended target may not be struck, you may strike a team member instead out of a "bloodlust" mindset. You will roll against this side effect as well. Be prepared.
-You will be given a chance to roll yourself out of this state as well if subjected to it by being given a special serum by Wolf. The serum has a maximum of 10 uses for the mission. Using the serum will also take one combat action. If you run out of the serum before the mission ends and are still Zombified, you will need to either finish the mission in a Zombified state or find a cure on the location elsewhere which will require high rolls.
-Since this will likely be a long mission with detailed story elements, I am giving a maximum of 2 weeks (14 days) to post for each participant. If each member of the mission does not post within that time limit, they will be skipped. MYSELF INCLUDED.

"This is bad....real bad.
Anyone who can help that is reading this. I did some ground espionage work at the Throat of The World after hearing through the Black Market grapevine that some psychos are trying to plot another attack against the Life Sphere. I made my way to the area and upon arriving and getting through a crazy snow drift, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was a strange black energy beaming from the top of the Throat's icy peak. Then, utilizing my Landmaster to try and trek as much of that terrain as I could, I made it about halfway up the ridge of the peak and then tried climbing the rest of the way despite the pounding storm.
I had an overwhelming feeling of dread the higher I climbed. I typically don't play the hero role, but this was dire enough for me to feel like I needed to take action. As I traversed to a high point of the peak, I noticed an outpost of some sort built into the bluffs of the mountain. I could see lights on inside and I could hear noises - like engines roaring and...something else. Something that mimicked almost a sea of blood curdling screams and echoes of deep growling. It was like listening in on a nightmare.
Before I could get any closer and see what was inside, some alarms started to sound and a horde of these...disgusting looking things with claws and strange liquid oozing from their jaws came after me. They flooded down the boulders of the higher part of the peak and began gliding down in calculated and matching movements; a pack mentality as if hunting together. Their speed was uncanny. It was like they were hungry and out of their minds.
The moment they started climbing down to come after me I high tailed it outta there and rushed back to my Landmaster using the special spiked boots and gauntlets I had on me. One of them nearly clipped me but I was able to evade it and cause it to tumble off the cliffside. I knew the threat I was investigating would take alot more than just myself.
I need help. Lots of help. Or The Life Sphere may be in big trouble yet again. Wolf, out."
Objective: Find the source of the black energy and the horde of strange monsters and destroy it.
Sub-Objective: Bring back valuable research on what caused this phenomenon on the peak and ensure it is hard evidence that can be studied later at the Life Sphere Labs.
