In the Far Distance, A Large, Germanic Castle stands looming over the Infected Wood, A Light in the Castles Peak saying simply that someone, or something was still inside, as the castle seems so very, very far away at this point, As though you were dragged back a few hundred feet away, Through the Forest to where you were Assigned by Samus Aran herself to Meet..



Before an Old Wooden bridge, That would lead you all along the path to the Engrowing forest up ahead. You are all three assigned to making way to the mountain ahead, In order to find the Single most important piece of this Castle...The Power Star.

Achieving the Power Star means Extra power for the Plantation that would fight back the immense famine covering the world, And the Life Sphere. And so, with immense Bravery, You are left with your options. Though, You take note that, While the Bridge does seem the Direct and obvious way up, The Forest Thicket alongside, Also serves as a way there. A Way there, that perchance, could be used for Cover and Stealth?

MISSION START!

Gruntilda waddled along the path. Her stubby witchy legs and large body only allowing her to go so fast. As she saw the castle in view she can't help but reminensce of her vacation home Mad Monster Mansion. So she feels right at home in this area.

"This beautiful castle, of gothic design, oh how I wish to make it mine," she mused.

It was then a ringing is heard as she grabs some place a strange device.



She puts it on the ground as it shows a hologram of robed man with an old TV for a head with an archaic video game for a face.



"Alright then, have you finally gotten to your destination?" the Lord of Games asked.

"I am here, to do my task, but why do I have to take it I must ask?" Grunty queried.

"Due to your unsightly appearance and infamy you need to earn their trust before you are able to be let into Life Sphere Central. I need to keep reigns of things, things can only get more hectic from here with all of these different heroes and villains all living on the same planet. Help them Gruntilda Winkybunion, you're their only hope." Lord of Games said.

Gruntilda then glared at him and squinted her eyes as Lord of Games screen grew blush pixels.

"I am sorry, I just saw the opportunity to do that joke and I couldn't resist, anyway don't die," Lord of Games said before signing off.

"I know I am not am not one to talk, but if there are more dumb jokes like that I am going to walk," Gruntilda huffed.

She then looked at the two paths, the bridge and the forest. The bridge seemed to go straight to the castle though it seemed to be too safe. She then looked towards the forest.

"That bridge looks too safe to be true, a walk in the forest and we'll be through." Gruntilda said.

Even though Copen was from roughly 100 years in the future, this castle would have been much more Copen's speed than anything from, say, Neo Arcadia.  Exploring archaic buildings for the sake of a specific objective was surprisingly routine for the young man, so when Copen rolled up to the bridge of the castle, he was prepared to knock this out like business as usual.

...And then, he noticed Gruntilda was here, and he remembered that he was going to have to work as something of a team player for the sake of how the Life Sphere coordinated missions.  Hm.  Well, hopefully, this would actually prove to be an advantage.  He wouldn't have been able to tell you - he and Lola had been running ops alone for nearly a century now.

Copen gave a hum, falling into thought about how he'd like to proceed - until a robot ball, Lola, bumped into him from behind.  "Say 'hi,' boss!  Don't be rude!"  Lola would remind him, like a parent reprimanding their child for not using their table manners.  Copen stifled a groan - but couldn't stop an uncomfortable expression - as he turned to address Gruntilda.

"...I'm Copen, and this is my partner, Lola." Lola couldn't wave in ball form, but she tried, shaking around a bit.  "It's nice to meet you."  He spoke with cordial professionalism, even if, internally, he was struggling to parse what exactly the hell he was looking at when he saw Gruntilda.  She wasn't exactly flattering to the eyes, y'know?

"If it comes down to it, I'd prefer to take the woods around the bridge over taking the bridge." He decided to give his take on it.  "I have the most options for my movement when there's a lot of surfaces around me, so it'd be safer for me.  Do you happen to be particularly fast?"

Sora would find himself looking over the castle as he walked up towards the bridge. He had his hands held behind his head as he looked up at with a... rather curious expression.

"Wow, this place is pretty cool!" He seemed way too excited about all this, maybe it was his experience with Halloween Town and Beast's Castle that left him feeling kinda at home here, or perhaps he was just that excited to go on another adventure already. It was pretty hard to tell which was which, especially for him.

Thankfully Sora would snap himself out of his little bout of child-like wonder just long enough for him to turn around and greet his two allies. It was kinda weird, he'd always been used to traveling in a group of three. Seems like even here on Li he'd be working like this. Although it didn't quite feel the same without Donald and Goofy.

"Oh um, hey! I'm Sora, it's nice to meet you two!" He didn't even bat an eye at Grunty as he extended his hand forward. The guy befriended Jack Skellington and a (temporarily) undead Pirate. Weird looks didn't really bother him, especially if the person turned out to be friendly.

Regardless of if anyone took his handshake or not, he'd find himself scratching the back of his head. "I'm not exactly the best at picking directions, so I'll let you two decide which way we're going." At least he was being honest about it. It seemed like the other two had made up their mind already anyway.

The group takes the Dangerous path....


In Hindsight, A single bridge suspended over a great deal of mist with no visible end *did* seem quite a bit more dangerous than simply cutting a track through the woods below. So, Naturally, The group did just that. It was a bit of a steep climb to get down there, but...



With enough moving, You managed to get into the Woodlands below. The Leaves crunch underfoot quite easily, as the only noted sounds you can hear are simply the sounds of your own feet crunching through the leaves.  Thankfully, Just a straight walk ahead would lead you to the other side of this ravine, and Continue your quest toward Sabrewulf Castle. The Wind begins to blow quite Cold against your backs. There's a snap of a twig behind you, But, If you looked, nothing was there. For a Light area, This place had...Quite a bit of the creeps.


But then, Just ahead, you can see  the Slope to begin ascending to the other side of this Chasm! ...However, It was just at that moment, That you feel something lay eyes on your group. There's a Rustling surrounding you, Looking to approach from all angles, Before...







"GGRRRR-ROWOAH!"

Two Werewolf Savages suddenly emerge from the Woods and Launch themselves at Gruntilda and sora, Both looking to Pounce and Take Bites out of the Robotic Witch and Keyblade Weilder both!

((Sora, Gruntilda! Both of you must make a DEX Check of 12, or else, Get Bitten and have a good chunk of something taken out of your bodies! This will deal 25% Damage.))

For Copen, However, Before he could begin to think of helping, He would find a Large Shadow looming over his entire figure, as above him, A One Passive, Unharmful creature looms above...An suddenly Slams a massive club into the Ground Copen stood on!

It was then Gruntilda was met by some odd, well odd in her perspective, young individuals. Some boy that looks like he is from the future with a floating robot ball following him. And a boy wielding a giant key wearing a ridiculous outfit and way too many belts. Now she has to stick to being a babysitter for these two.

"Gruntilda's the name and I am sent here, to help the people of the Life Sphere. Fast I am not and that bridge is too old, all of our bodies it won't old. So into the woods, we go tonight little welps, if you're ever in trouble just let out a yelp." she said.

As she waddled her way through the woods which felt like paradise to her is when they are ambushed. She attempts to roll out of the way of the strike.

The world that he'd left hadn't been doing so great on nature.  So, in spite of the foreboding fog and the whole 'mission' business, Copen personally found that he was enjoying himself quite a bit.  These woods really took him back.

...Until, of course, they got jumped, and shit began hitting the fan.  Alas, that's what they get for taking the dangerous route.  Copen had been prepared to swoop in and assist the other two, when, suddenly - "Boss!  Look out!"

...But, alas, he didn't quite dodge in time.  The club would come down towards his head, and one would think that that would hurt quite a bit, but instead, the club would kind of just... phase through Copen, as his body reformed into electricity, seeming splitting into two afterimages as Copen retreated a bit.  Prevasion's a mother, but it certainly managed to wear down on his Bullits by a sizeable amount.

But, now, it was his turn.  Copen would kick off from the ground, thrusters on his back activating as Copen flew into a Bullit Dash, attempting to Tag the giant that was swinging at him, before carrying his momentum upward and practically somersaulting off of the giant, and using his thrusters to hang on the air.

Sora was rather enjoying himself despite the creepy atmosphere. Although it did kind of make him wish he was in his Halloween Town outfit, this forest reminded him of that world in particular quite a bit. Although he did still keep himself on guard. For a moment he felt fine, despite how freaky the place was it seemed pretty peaceful...

Sora would immediately find himself groaning a bit as he heard that loud growl. Of course he jinxed it for himself...

"Oh come on..."

However the werewolf attacking him wasn't going to wait for him to finish pouting before striking. Thankfully he was ready enough to bring up the Kingdom Key. A small barrier forming in front of him which caused himself to go skidding back. Thankfully unharmed, but he definitely felt his defenses crack a bit. He was gonna need to be careful for a bit now.

As Sora finished skidding back from that initial assault, he quickly brought a hand to his own chest. It was a bit early, but these enemies looked tough and he'd probably be able to to pull this out again by the time they got to the castle. An orb of light suddenly formed around him before shattering as he activated his Drive Form.

When the light cleared up his clothes had changed to a color scheme that was all to familiar to himself. The old black and red of the outfit he wore for his first adventure was now coating his previously jet black gear. The young man wasting no time lunging forward to take on the werewolf that had just tried to rip him apart. His Keyblade slashing forward as he unleashed a simple three hit combo on his foe.

That last blow having a deceptive amount of force behind it as he readied himself for more.

With a Fireball Hitting one of the Werewolves, the First werewolf snarls and avoids Gruntilda's attacks while the Giant, simply taking the explosive blast, Waves its arm away and stomps its feet to intimidate Gruntilda. This, However, was Stopped as a Tiny dart embedded itself into the Giant's Arm. However, Inflicted by the Starvia, The Giant felt no need to resist just yet, Before Copen suddenly darted into the Giant's Space, As the Giant was assaulted by Coppen's Divider slashing and hacking away at him! The Giant manages to step away from the first slash, But the Second and Third causes The Giant to Roar, A Purple Wound opening with the last two strikes that spewed Shadow Bugs and Purple Mist! The Monsters gathered themselves once again, The Werewolf Savages Especially turning into a Prowling, Encircling crawl around the Four Adventurers, Before starting to run once again into a Horrid Blitz around them, as the Werewolves leapt at Sora, Both of them attempting to Bite and Cleave at Sora and Rend his flesh!

The Giant, Being of Starvia Intelligence, Didn't seem not notice that his attack didn't work at all with Copen previously, and so, Attempts again, This time swinging his Club in a Wide Arc to try and Smash Copen aside  in a wide circle! If one didn't know any better, Its like the Giant was aiming to knock Copens Teeth in.

Gruntilda watched as the young whippersnappers used a combination of weird sci-fi technology and a giant key-like weapon. She has a hard time understanding this new generation. Though when the giant and werewolves struck back they focused on the boys instead of Gruntilda. This gave her the perfect opportunity to prepare a spell. Towards one of the savage mutts, she prepares a magical sphere in her hands that she throws that begin homing in on the werewolf. Then she sprints as fast as her body can take, in front of the weaker werewolf.

"I'll teach you rabid mutt some respect, it's too late for you all to repent!" she boasted.

Before trying to slap the werewolf multiple times across it's face with her hand before taking out her Magic Broomstick and preparing to whack it.

As the werewolves lunged for him again, Sora would brace himself. His feet planting themselves on the ground as he swiftly leapt back away from the barrage of slashes.

He'd find moderate success as he managed to avoid the first set of blows from the first Werewolf, only for the second one to actually catch him with one of it's claws. Slashing through his shirt and rending into his skin beneath. Leaving a pretty nasty looking gash across his chest which was promptly hidden again as the magic that Yen Sid had woven into his outfit caused it to close up. Of course... the wound itself was still a problem, but at least his clothes weren't gonna need a trip to the weavers after all of this was done.

Of course, he wasn't going to take all of that lying down however as he waited for Grunty to finish her assault on the more wounded Wolf, before making his own attack. The Keyblade wielder rearing back as he focused his heart, channeling his own power through his whole body before suddenly shooting forward. His entire body seeming to vibrate as after images of himself followed behind.

(Sonic Blade! Sora chooses a single target and performs a Str attack that inflicts 20% damage at the cost of 50 MP. However Sora can perform this move multiple times for the cost of a single strike if he only performs this one attack for the turn. This attack also causes a -1 to the follow-up Sonic Blade if it hits.

The first strike seemed fairly sloppy, it had been a while since he last used these abilities and it was showing in how he stumbled ever so slightly before turning around and...

Unfortunately Sora was still kinda getting his grips on Sonic Blade as his finale lacked some of it's... omph. The teen stumbling a bit before righting himself again as he finished that series of attacks. He was gonna need to Curaga as soon as he had the ability to again if this was any... indication.

With Sora's incredible Sonic Blade, the Savage Wolf B was sent flying off with each lunge and strike, Until the Keyblade finally managed to pierce the wolf to the point it fell into a dead slump against a nearby tree, Wincing quietly before going fully limp. The remaining Werewolf and Giant roar out in desire for revenge, and charge for the two, as the Werewolf Jumps at Sora, Trying to Swing it's Claws at him from overhead!!

As for Gruntild, however, the Giant seemed to take a Vetted Interest in her, as he readies up a swing, and brings it down once more!

Gruntilda was surprised to see the boy manage to take out one of the werewolves. Though it seemed the giant had other plans. As it was doing a table flip underneath Gruntilda but without the table and with the ground beneath her feet instead. As she tries to roll away in time.

Though she is not very dexterous as she flipped up in the air and lands hard on the ground. Thankfully this time she wasn't buried in the earth but it still hurt a lot. As she brought herself back up a bit dizzy before regaining her composure. Before glaring at the giant.


"You think you can win just because you're tall? The bigger they are the harder they fall!" she yells out.

As she proceeded to attempt to whack the giant with her broomstick before flying on it to attempt a broomstick attack before jumping off of her magic broom for a divebomb attack before continuing to fly through the air.
