Backstory: Raguna Backstory
History On Li: It was a rather nice day here in Trampoli. The sun was shining, the birds were singing and on days like this he couldn't help but smile. Working the field on his farm Raguna took notice that no monsters were in the immediate area which meant his farm was going to have a peaceful harvest this month. Wiping his brow at all the hard work he had done clearing and tending to his field for the harvest he couldn't help but notice something amiss. Well first thing he noticed was that the clouds looked like they would start to rain upon him and his field today, which was much needed after the dry season he's been in lately. The other one was that strange portal he saw in the clouds as well. As if by sheer bad luck Raguna felt himself being pulled into that portal as his body ascended to the sky above he felt himself crash to the ground somewhere else.
Trying to remember what happened he looked around to see himself in a very barren wasteland of a place. "Where am I? This isn't Trampoli is it?" Making his way to the barrier of the Life Sphere he could see that things were not like home. He had no hope of escaping either. Upon seeing the farmlands torn up by mysterious forces he could tell something was indeed wrong. The people in this city seemed to be doing well for themselves but however the mention of a famine drew his attention.
"No this will not stand. I must have been put here for a reason so I will do what I can to stop this famine and bring Life back to this city known as the Life Sphere." So Raguna set out to the farm lands and began work on them using his Rune magic to bring life back to the soil and would use that said magic to bring life to his crops. If there was no sun or rain to help his endeavors the Runes would always make a good replacement. Using his Rune of the Seasons he would bring life to his crops through rain, sun and wind. All the needed ingredients to bring this place back from the brink. This was his mission, Raguna would make a life here and make sure that everyone else had plenty of food to eat, that was for certain.
Primary Attacks (3)
Farmer's Expertise: Through years of hard work on the farm Raguna can now use his farming tools to attack his foes using them as weapons.
His tools range from his Lady of the Night, Watering pale, Hammer, Sickle and Pitchfork. All have different ranges and damage rates but they all are useful. [DMG 8-18%] [STR]
Sword of the Ancients: Strikes a single foe with a sword swing that has a damage potency of 18%! This move can be charged up even further by taking damage equal to how much more damage he can do. This moves caps at 32% damage total. Cooldown 3 turns if charged. [STR]
Shield Parry: Takes an defending stance that nullifies the damage taken per attack countered. When attacked in this stance all of the damage done to Raguna is thrown back at the foe in a counter attack. A CON dice needs to be rolled for each attack attempted to be countered. Raguna uses all of his attack actions to use this move for 1 turn, this means he cannot attack at all but still can use non-damaging abilities after using this. Has a 3 turn cooldown after being used for 1 turn. [DMG ??%] [CON]
Special Attacks (3)
Second Wind: For every 30% damage Raguna takes to his health he can lower the cooldowns of his moves by 1 turn for every increment of 30% he had taken over the course of the battle, this lowers the active cooldowns by 1 turn every time he takes 30% damage but does not stack. [Passive]
Rune of the Seasons: Raguna inscribes a rune of the seasons into his abilities and that of his party members. Each rune performs differently but have similar properties to each rune. Each rune lasts for 2 turns and of course means there can only be 1 Rune active at a time. After one Rune is used this ability goes on a 2 turn cooldown before it can be used again.
- Rune of Spring: Inscribing the Rune of Spring into his abilities grants Raguna the element of Wind. This grants a +1d8 to damage dealt for 2 turns and allows all of his and his party's attacks to do an added 50% chance to inflict Flower upon a successful hit.
- Rune of Summer: Inscribing the Rune of Summer into his abilities grants Raguna the element of Fire. This grants a +1d8 to damage dealt for 2 turns and allows all of his and his party's attacks to do an added 50% chance to inflict Burn upon a successful hit.
- Rune of Autumn: Inscribing the Rune of Autumn into his abilities grants Raguna the element of Earth. This grants a +1d8 to damage dealt for 2 turns and allows all of his and his party's attacks to do an added 50% chance to inflict Slow upon a successful hit.
- Rune of Winter: Inscribing the Rune of Winter into his abilities grants Raguna the element of Water/Ice. This grants a +1d8 to damage dealt for 2 turns and allows all of his and his party's attacks to do an added 50% chance to inflict Freeze upon a successful hit.
Harvest Moon: Raguna harvests the crops he planted and serving them up as edible food to grant himself and his party a 1d8+CHA Mod to heal them by that amount. Lowers his dodge rolls by 2 for 1 turn after using this ability and has a 2 turn cooldown. [Heal ??%] [CHA]
Final Smash (1)
Rune Frontier: Raguna inscribes a powerful Rune on himself and all of his allies in the area. This Rune has the ability that grants a new temporary passive ability to everyone of his allies and himself.
This temporary ability is called 'Rune Frontier' and allows the user to absorb half of the damage taken for 3 turns and convert it into extra bubble shield. After the 3 turns pass any extra bubble shield that exceeds the capacity of the user's bubble shield has the difference transferred to the user's health points permanently.
Other Info: Using his Runes he can make wind, sunlight and rain for helping with crops, he can also bring dead soil back to life. He's a farmer and a very good one at that but can also defend himself if needed. He uses both Runes for magic and his weapon handling to help with different situations.
