Backstory: Burn, baby!

History On Li: After Xehanort had been stopped, there was a brief time of relative peace - Axel was reunited with friends old and new, and felt like he was enjoying life fully again for the first time in a while.  If only that could have lasted forever...

...And then, of course, everything went wrong.  People were going missing - first Sora (which was unrelated, but who knew,) followed by others - and then, at a point, Axel himself woke up on Li, completely disoriented and with no idea where he was.  Given some exploration, he would eventually find his way to the Life Sphere, and reconnect with a few others, but now he was stranded here with everyone else.  Now, getting back into action after some time of relative peace, Axel wants to find his other friends and make his way back to his own world.  ...Worlds?  Point is, he misses home.


Primary Attacks (3)
Chakram Strike/Keyblade Strike: Axel's Keyblade burns with an awesome power, known as his fire magic. He he can strike targets with his Keyblade, or summon has Chakrams for quick, repeated strikes. [7%-15% WIS, combos inflict 1% Flames and Keyblade strikes inflict 3% Flames]

Weapon Toss: Axel's Chakrams are made for being thrown, and the ability to use them like a projectile extends to using his Keyblade. Axel cloaks his Chakrams or Keyblade in flames and puts a twirl on them as he throws them at a target to rip into them. Can also be arced to travel through the air to target multiple enemies. [15% WIS, optional 10 foot AoE in front of Axel that reduces damage to 12%, inflicts 3% Flames]

Prominence: Axel builds flames into his Chakrams - including drawing power from how enemies are burning - and looses them in one devastating attack! [15% WIS AoE, does 1% additional damage per 2% of Flames on a target.]



Special Attacks (3)
Eternal Flames: Axel is a fire-user first and a Keyblade wielder second, and relies largely on his fire to get things done instead of his pure skill with a Keyblade. Axel's attacks have a Flames value associated with them, and enemies struck by Axel's attacks take Damage over Time at the end of their turn based on this value. Additional attacks will increase the Damage over Time active on an opponent and reset the duration of the Damage over Time. Axel's Damage over Time lasts for three turns, and heals reduce Flames equal to the amount of HP restored.

Axel's fire, courtesy of being really hot, tends to interfere with a combatants ability to fight correctly. For every 5% Flames inflicted on a target, their attacks do 1% less damage to a minimum of 1%, and for every 20% Flames cumulatively to all combatants, Axel receives a +1 to all attack rolls and dodge rolls.

Blaze Bind: Axel throws his Chakrams at an opponent, only to feint them out and send them towards the ground, where they carve a circle around an opponent and eject flames from all around them, trapping an opponent!

Functions as a ranged grapple, and targets must perform an WIS roll to see Axel's Bind coming as opposed to a normal attack, and must use WIS to exploit a weakness in his magic to break free if caught. Every turn an opponent is caught inflicts 3% Flames. Three turn cooldown after the attack fails or the grapple is broken. [WIS Grapple, three turn cooldown]

Scorched Earth: "Burn, baby!" Fire spirals around Axel before Axel forces his magical power into the ground, scorching the ground of the battlefield and keeping it burning.  Grants Axel WIS +2 and DEX +2, and increases the potency of Flames on all attacks by 2%.  Lasts for three turns, and has a five turn cooldown. [Buff]

Thinking of You: Axel calls upon the power of his friends, and forces his essence into an attack, nuking all present and burning them even further!  40% AoE, 15% Flames, deals 20% recoil damage.
