A mix of cheers and jeers meet the thaumaturge as he strides out into the open arena air. Blue's words hang on a sour note, however. To insist that he was some sort of pervert..! To insinuate such a laughably false clause..! He points right out to the announcer's box.

"You know BLOODY well that was rude, and uncalled for to make such stereotypical accusations. You should be ashamed of yourself, Miss Blue! To think that I would stoop so low. If I wanted to court you, I have my ways. You are far too young for me."

He sweeps his hand out, and places them behind his back, sizing up his friend from across the arena. Stereotype abuse aside, and seeing the clear favorite in his gaze, he narrows it only for a moment, before yawning. Oh bother, this was going to be something uninteresting to see in full.

"...Well, I can't say I'm excited to hurt you, dear friend. You've been kind to me, far kinder than the average person. Though, I cannot say it is your fault that you made it here. Nor that we would face off eventually."

He takes another breath, and flourishes his gauntlet clad right hand out, sparking with unimaginable, unfathomable power. Isonus was geared up and ready to rumble with his blue friend. A twinkle of deviousness lingers in the half-elf's eyes.

Krystal strode out into the arena to face Isonus, staff in hand. As with the Thermaturge, the crowd had a mix of cheers and jeers following her appearence...though there were notably more cheers. Perhaps it had something to do with Blue's comments towards Isonus. Probably. Not really something she should pay much mind to, either way.

Speaking of the Grandmaster mage, Krystal looked to where he was standing, holding her staff at the ready. She could feel the power surging from Isonus's gauntlet from where she was standing, but she wasn't afraid. On the contrary, she seemed almost happy to take Isonus on, her bright smile not even faltering from her face.

"It's alright, Isonus. I, for one, am thrilled to face off against you. I don't think I've witnessed you in battle before, and you haven't seen me fight either. I think this is a good time to show each other what we can do. And if you're not going to hold back...." Krystal spun her staff into a more offensive stance.
