The Pokemon Cove looked...greener than usual today. The outside of the cove was filled with green grass, flowers and roots. The juxtaposition with the darkened coastline that resided just before it was apparent. Still, all this nature around the cove had this weird, foreboding presence around it. It was light, but it was still definitely noticeable.

Gloria stood next to the entrance, waiting for the other two Trainers that agreed to explore the place with her. Standing by her side was Duraludon, who looked to be uneasy about something. Seemingly noticing her partner’s confusion and uneasiness, she gave him a quick pat on the stomach to catch his attention.

"What’s botherin' ye?" Gloria asked the Pokémon by her side, to which Duraludon responded by pointing one of his hands towards the entrance, uttering a worried growl. “Yoo’re worried about...somethin' inside the cove?” Duraludon nodded in response. "...Well, I can't blame ye. Somethin' about this place dinnae sit well wi' me either. Still, we're pretty strong, so we can handle whatever's in there!"  Gloria said. "An' what’s more, we've got two Trainers tae back us up! So ya dinnae have tae worry 'bout a thing, Duraludon!" she finished, petting the Alloy Pokémon in his head. Duraludon had uttered an affectionate bellow as he was pet.

With her Pokémon calmed down, Gloria took her sights to the coastline, looking for any sign of the others that agreed to explore the cove alongside her...

High the skies above the coastline, a Bug/Flying type Pokémon spotted the two Galarians and swooped in for a better look. Zipping in a coil formation around Duraludon, she paused, hovering in Gloria’s face. Getting a good look at the tam o' shanter clad trainer, the Ninjask nodded in confirmation and zipped off in the way she came without so much as a word.

Tokimeki hairu ma no asahi ga noboreba” ♪
Not long later, in the direction the Pokémon zipped off, the sound of humming merrily made its way across the beach.
♪ “Ame, nochi hare taiyō ga sansan waraeba
Ano ginga wa rōdosutā aiaiai” ♪
♪ “Aye aye aye!” ♪
The Ninjask returned followed by a Hoenn lad and his much larger Ludicolo, skipping across the sand in sync with the song they were singing together. A few steps behind them marched a Blaziken, not the least bit interested in their Mankying around. Fortunately for him, the song was just beginning but their journey was done.

“Hey guys, I think we’re here!” The trainer announced, hopping to a stop. “Ziken.” The Blaziken huffed at long last. “Alright, Nintenda, one last inspection before cross the point of no return:” He called his Ninjask close as he slipped his backpack off inspect it.
“DexNav?” “Ninjask,”
“PokéFinder?” “Ninjask,”
“Sketch Pad?” “Ninjask,”
“Pencils?” “Ninjask...”
“...And Sharpeners?” “...Ninjask!”
“Welp, that’s all the stuff I care about.” He shrugged sliding it back onto his back. “Alright team Let’s-a Go! The other teams should be around here somewhere…” He held his hand over his visor as he surveyed the land, which was ironic considering he was already wearing a cap.

“Ludicolo~” The Ludicolo took his trainer’s head and pointed him straight into Gloria’s direction.
“G-good work, Kappin.” He gulped immediately losing his nerves.

Close behind Purple, another face made his appearance at the entrance to the cove. N walked up to the entrance, straight past both Purple and Gloria, and began to study the verdant entrance. It was such a contrast to the surrounding area, that N had to take a look. "So this is Pokemon Cove...." N muttered to himself "Incredible.."

"Zor!" <N! Pay attention, will you?> N's Zoroark snapped, as she eyed the two other trainers. She didn't trust either of them, but N had agreed to work with them, so she would just have to live with it for now. N, noticing he had completely ignored his two comrades, sheepishly got to his feet and turned toward them. "O-oh. Sorry about that! Greetings, Purple, Gloria. I, ah, didn't see you there." A little embarrassed, N joined up with his fellow trainers. "I've always wanted to make a point of visiting this Cove, but no one told me that it was this...life-like. Healthy. Almost like the Starvia doesn't exist here." N started to muse, while Zoroark rolled her eyes a folded her arms. He was starting to ramble again.

"...Ah, but we'll see more when we finally step inside. Although...your Duraluon seems to sense something strong in there, Gloria. I think we'd do well to be prepared"

Gloria and Duraludon looked confused as the Ninjask came up and left without a word. This confusion would soon be dispelled as Purple showed up with his own Pokemon team, Ninjask included. She waved at the Hoenn trainer and offered him a warm smile. N soon followed, and though he was...briefly distracted by the scene, gave him a quick "Hey, yoo're fine. Don't worry yerself!" to his quick apology.

"Right, now 'at we're all here...hello! I'm Gloria. This is Duraludon." "Dura! <Hello!>" She introduced herself to the two Trainers, with Duraludon following suit. Her Duraludon sounded...particularly young! "So, just tae recap, we're all here now tae explore the cove an' find some Pokemon! We might find one we haven't found yet, or maybe we'll find a new friend to join us!" She said. "I'm not planning tae go 'at deep into the cove and it shouldn't take long. We just gonna go in there, spend some time explorin', and then go back. Done!" she continued.

...Right, the foreboding presence. She looked at N and nodded in acknowledgement. "I've got a couple of Potions in my bag to help patch our partners up if we need it. I don't think we'll run into anything dangerous, but we'll keep an eye out." With those words, Gloria turned to the cove. "Alright, team, let's move out!" she rallied before moving in, expecting the other two Trainers to follow her.

As the trio of trainers and their accompanying Pokemon ventured inside the cove, they'd likely notice that the further they delved into it, the greener it became. Vines, grass, mildly luminescent flowers decorated both ground and walls. It was all so beautiful, sure, but...that foreboding presence from before only kept getting stronger and stronger. It felt like someone or something was scrutinizing their every move...

After some walking, the group would stumble upon a brightly-lit, expansive area, filled to the brim with glowing mushrooms, rocks and moss. "I think...this oughta be a good stop." Gloria spoke. She no longer had the same levity she had in her voice beforehand.  "Keep yer eyes out. Wild Pokemon could jump out at any second." She warned, looking around the area.

There's a bit of silence around the area, until... "Duralu! <Watch out!!>" The young Duraludon screamed, suddenly noticing...something vaguely Pokemon-shaped coming towards...N?!

The attacker would land soon after the attack, revealing itself to be...an Eevee. A feral, snarling Eevee. And it appeared that it wasn't really alone. Soon, another wild Pokémon would jump in and fling a rock towards...Purple?!

The new attacker was a Rockruff! Just like Eevee, it looked feral and barked furiously at the Trainers. Gloria looked on in confusion. "What's goin' on? Why are they attackin'--"

"AGH!" Gloria's questioning was suddenly interrupted when she got directly attacked by a Spark from a new arrival: a Shinx, looking and sounding just as feral as the other two wild Pokémon. Duraludon looked at his Trainer in shock before glaring at the Electric-type. He then roared and tried to attack it with his claws in fury!

The two attacks missed their mark, the wild Shinx nimbly dodging both of them. but Duraludon was not finished yet. With a growl, he twisted his body, turning around to smack Shinx with his tail!

This attack was successful, sending Shinx a fair distance away. "Duraludon, keep yer heid!" Gloria pleaded, trying to calm the Alloy Pokémon down. She had breathed a sigh of relief when he decided to come back and check on her. "Hey, no need tae worry about me. I've been through worse." she reassured him. "Now...how 'bout we work together an' send these Pokémon packin'?"

"Duraaa! <Let's go!>" Duraludon let out a roar in agreement, as the three unusually aggressive Pokémon stared down the Trainers...

“H…Heh…H…” Purple panted, trying to get himself to greet Gloria’s warm smile. The best he could muster was a shy wave back.
“Ludicolo~!” Kappineapple greeted Gloria with a tip of the cap on behalf his trainer. Was he going to be like this with every new girl he met? He couldn’t help it: she was kinda cute…

Speaking of cute, Purple wrestled his tongue back from the Galarian Meowth in time to greet N.
“Oh Hi there N. F-for what it’s worth I didn’t eith-” “Ninjask jas ask!” <Greetings to you as well, Trainer N! It is quite pleasant to encounter you and #571 Zoroark once again.> Nintenda interjected, flying in between her trainer and N and eagerly nodding and bowed. She seemed pretty happy to see him again.
“That’s The thing about this Cove that mystifies me the most!” Purple nodded in full agreement. “It’s teaming with more like than anywhere else on this planet I’ve been! Between here and the Life Sphere I don’t think I’d even want to explore anywhere else!” Purple began to ramble before Gloria finally spoke up, letting him hear her voice for the first time.
…Oh no. She was Galarian.

“H-Hi Gloria, I’m Purple.” He finally mustered the confidence to greet her. “This is my Ninjask, Nintenda.”
“Jas.” <I am pleased to become properly equated.> The Ninjask curtsied mid-air. “Ludicolololu~!” <Top o-the morning to ya, Lassie~!> “This is Kappineapple, my Ludicolo. And this is…” Purple had to look around his Ludicolo to find his Blaziken, standing aloofly, squinting past all three parties, brooding at the Cove.
“Clucky~?” He gave his Pokemon a look that said ‘We talked about this. You were going to behave.’
The Blaziken sighed, rolled his eyes and agreed to look in their direction.

“And this is Clucky, my Blaizken.” Purple introduced to the Pokémon, who lifted a claw from his folded arms in acknowledgement. N was cool as far as he was concerned, but he didn’t trust the girl. The kid agreed to work with her, so he just had to live with it for now.

“…Wait, that’s it?” Purple did a double take. “No critical resource to scavenge? No endangered species to protect? No distressed damsel to rescue?” He tilted his head nearly 90 degrees to the side as he scratched it in bewilderment. “This is gonna be the Best Mission Ever!” He cheered in relief, bouncing up and down on his toes and even crisscrossing his legs occasionally.
“Alright team, let’s move out!” He repeated to his own Pokémon in a pseudo Galar accent born of excitement. He then proceeded to peppily march behind the other two trainers, his Ludicolo following in step. “Lu, Lu, Lu Lo Lu!”
His Blaziken, however, hadn’t moved yet and his Ninjask took notice. “Ask?” <Is all well, Team mate #257 Clucky the Blaziken?> She asked, fluttering over to him.
“…Zik.” <…When will the kid learn? It’s never that simple.> The Blaziken shook his head as he and his team mate began to follow the rest of the party.

Despite beginning in the back, Purple’s feet eventually carried him to the front, just to get a head start to stop and look at how green the place was. The leaves on the vines and the vines on the trees and the trees as a whole and the holes and the ground and the green gras that grew all around. This place was teaming with even more Grass-type life than the last time he was here!
Clucky at the back of the party could still only sense the foreboding presence growing stronger and stronger. The deeper they trekked into this territory, the more he could feel its clutches surround them.
“Wow it’s just like the underground of that one place one of the Life Sphere leaders is from!” Purple marveled at the glowing mushrooms in particular. Gloria’s warning about wild Pokémon only seemed to excite him more.
“You heard her, guys.” He winked, unsheathing his sketchbook. “Now we play the waiting game~.”

“…!” They didn’t have to wait long at all for things to start happening. “Nin!” <Trainer N!>
“A wild Eevee appeared!” Purple gasped, dropping his pencil in his surprise.
“Zik!” <Kid! Look Out!> Clucky barked from across the room.
“Huh?” The kid turned around to find a rock coming right at him.

Kocked clean onto his back, Purple could only roll on his back gripping his face in pain.
“Ziken!” <You done Furret up now, whoever you are!> the Blaziken roared, jumping to tower over his downed trainer.
“Who-?” Purple asked getting up and looking where the rock came from and finding a Rockruff there. “-You!”

“…N-nice Rockruff, easy now…” Purple nervously tried to coo, scooting back away from the barking Rock-Type. A great big Fire/Fighting-Type stomped in between the two.
“Blazke?” <You throwing rocks?> Clucky glared down at the Rockruff like he was going to split it like a Pokébean. The Blaziken would then proceed to kick the Rock-Type up like a soccer ball into his grip, and punch it back out across the room.

When Gloria gave the rally signal, N followed both her and Purple into the Cove. Similarly to Clucky, Zoroark lagged behind a bit, keeping an eye out on their surroundings, just in case. ("It's always the same with him. Once he gets an idea in his head, it's all he focuses on") she mutters under her breath. Though she was close enough to Clucky to hear him make a similar complaint about Purple. Now there was a bird with a good head on his shoulders. At least someone else did around here. Giving the slightest of smiles, Zoroark ran to catch up with N. N himself, meanwhile, was looking around in awe at the sheer about of greenery there was around this area. It was like a completely different world then the disease ridden wasteland that was outside. "Incredible..." N said softly. He was so absorbed by his surroundings that he almost didn't see the ball of fluff that was flying toward his head. X_4Zsk4Ap_1d20 (N's Tackle Dodge: Success!) Fortunately N noticed it just in time, and ducked, the feral Eevee sailing over his head. "Wh-what's going on?" N asked. "Why are they attacking us? We haven't done anything wrong!" The Eevee just snarled at him, a combination of Pokegibberish and anger that even N wasn't able to understand. Fortunately, just as the Eevee was about to charge N again, a certain Illusion Fox launched at it out of nowhere and started tearing into it p_1d20+1 (Zoroark's Fury Swipes! DMG 8%) p_1d20+1 (Again) p_1d20+1 (Again) p_1d20+1 (Again) ("Imputant brat!") Zorark yelled. With one fluid motion, Zoroark pulled back, before leaping at the Eevee with outstretched claws p_1d20+1 (Zoroark's CRIT Night Slash! DMG 22%) p_1d20+1 (Crit Confirm! If successful, add another 22% DMG and guaranteed Mortal Wound) "Zoroark, stop!" N commanded. trying to pull his Pokemon off the Eevee "You're going to kill it if you go any farther!" After a few tries, the fury in Zoroark's eyes died down, and she returned to N's side. But the damage was still done...

Blaziken's skills at rock throwing were quite impressive, throwing the Rockruff at a nearby wall. Despite the punishment, however, this pupper was quite a trooper, and got up quickly. The good news is that now Blaziken had the attention of the Puppy Pokemon, as the little bugger leapt towards him, trying to take a bite of the fire chicken!

Meanwhile, Eevee....Eevee....

Zoroark's furious assault left the little Pokemon with a nasty scar on its belly. Despite the serious injury inflicted on them, Eevee still got up and attempted to press on, as it coated its tail in steel before trying to whip Zoroark with it!

As for Shinx...

"Duraludon! Use Metal Claw!" Gloria instructed,, ready to start the battle proper. The Alloy Pokemon's claws glimmered as he grit his teeth and moved in to swipe at the little Electric-type.

This time, Shinx wasn't nimble enough to escape the claw attack. Gloria would suddenly rush toward the wild Pokemon in question. "I dinnae like this, but... Sorry 'bout this, lil' fellaw!" She would quickly apologize as she would perform a leg sweep, hoping to knock off the other's balance!

Gloria would then move aside, giving space to her Pokemon. "Now! Use Flash Cannon!" she instructed to Duraludon. With a nod of acknowledgement, the young Pokemon roared as it began gathering light energy. Moments later,  he fired a beam towards the currently helpless Shinx.

Thanks to Gloria's small intervention, the attack hit. Shinx, however, wasn't down for the count just yet (thought it did look like they could faint at any moment), and shrouded themselves with electricity before dashing towards the Alloy Pokemon in a bout of desperation!

The attack hit head on, with Shinx leaping off of Duraludon as he stumbled back a bit. "Duraludon! Ye okay?" Gloria asked, looking at her partner in mild concern. The Pokemon let out a bit of a pained rumble. "Dura...ludon...! <Kinda hurts...but I can still go!>"

“Zik!” <Aye! Me Leg, ya barking boulder!> The fire chicken complained, trying to kick the Rock-Type off his leg. The effort to do this cost him a kick this turn.
“Blaziken…Ziken!” <Don’t remember Fetch being played this way, but I’m game to throw you as much as you can bounce!> He crowed, grabbing hold of the Rockruff and proceeding to pummel him before throwing him at the wall like a baseball pitcher.

There seemed to be an extra sense of style to the way Clucky laid in the beating, something both Purple and Kappineapple took notice of. Was someone special watching?
“Clucky what are you doing? Put it down!” Purple protested from behind his hand gripping his face.
“Ken?” <What? I’m not holding anything.> The Blaziken shrugged ignorantly with his empty hands.
“I-dy-I mean don’t pick it back up.” His trainer rolled his eyes. “Something’s not right about the way these guys are fighting.” He deduced with a suspicious squint. “Kappin! Use Bubble on it till it cools off!” He instructed his other Pokémon to take over.
“Ludi!” <One cooling Bubble coming up!> The Ludicolo saluted and took a deep breath. He then blew a great big wet bubble, intending to engulf the Rockruff and even lift it off the ground, holding it in with magical surface tension.

Zoroark would have been content to just walk away after N had called her off the Eevee. As much as she wanted to teach the little whelp a lesson, N had a point. There weren't here to make fresh corpses, they were here to see the local wildlife, no matter how hostile it be. It was better for all of them if she just left it that that.... And then she heard the Eevee charge her again yTVjwrBgp_1d20+2 (Zoroark's Iron Tail Dodge: Success!) Easily jumping aside as the Eevee dove at her tail-first, she snorted in annoyance. "Ark! Zor-ark!" ("You just don't know when you're outmatched, do you?") Unsheathing her claws once again, she shoved N out of her way and dove at the Eevee to slash away at it again."Zoro-ARK!" ("Well then, let me show you you're place!) p_1d20+1 (Zoroark's Fury Swipes! DMG 8%) p_1d20+1 (Again) p_1d20+1 (And again) "Zoro...." ("Don't get in my way...") .....was she talking to the Eevee or N? At this point, N wasn't even sure, but he still tried unsuccessfully to return Zoroark to her ball. If she was going to act like this, then she should be put in a time out until she cooled off. But it was no use. Zoroark was determined to finish this fight, this time launching an aura of dark power toward the Eevee p_1d20+1\ (Zoroark's Dark Pulse! DMG 28%, 10% chance of inflicting Horrified) Slippery little scrap of fluff, it was. Even with the injury it had sustained. No matter. Zoroark would have it under her claws eventually. A thought N desparately wanted to avoid.

Clucky and Kappin's teamwork had Rockruff on their last legs. The barking boulder barely had the strength to stand at this point, yet they tried to keep moving...which didn't yield too much results, as they fell to the ground in exhaustion, looking ready to faint.

Eevee swiftly dodged most of Zoroark's swipes, only getting slashed at once...though the injury across their chest was dragging them down more than they seemed to care. Despite this, Eevee would charge straight at Zoroark, trying to tackle her!

As for Shinx...

"Alright, I think this has gone long enough...Duraludon, switch out!" Gloria said, pulling out said Pokémon's Pokéball and retrieving him from the battle. "Get 'em, Coalossal!" she said, throwing another Pokéball, out of it coming...well, Coalossal, who landed in the fray with a hearty thud. He stared down the feral Shinx, expecting Gloria to give the go ahead to get to battling...

"Coalossal, use Ancient Force!" Gloria spoke out. The Coal Pokémon raised one of his hands high, as fossils suddenly appeared from the ground below and coalesced into his fist, making it bigger. The hit connected! Coalossal's fossil-formed large fist cracked away leaving him with his normal rock fist, but Shinx was down for the count. Gloria made a note to patch the Pokémon up after all of this was over. "Let's give our friends a hand. Smack Down th' Eevee!" she said. "Coalossal! <Gotcha, lassie!>" the Pokémon retorted, grabbing some chunks on the ground before punching them towards the Eevee.

“Okay, let’s try this again. Nice Rockruff, I’m not gonna hurt ya…” Purple slowly tiptoed up to get closer look at the Rockruff still trapped in the floating magical bubble. “I just wanna get a closer look to see what’s gotten into you.” He calmly tried to reassure the Rock-Type as Clucky longingly watched Zoroark and Coalossal wail on the Rockruff’s Eevee and Shynx allies. “Zi? Ziken!” [See that? That’d be You, if the kid wasn’t such a softy!]  The Blaziken growled at the Rockruff to sate his thirst for intimidation.
“Clucky! I’m starting to think something’s gotten into You too, Boy!” Purple pouted sternly at his own Pokémon and pushed him away from the one from the bubble. “Can’t you see the poor fella’s a flick of the nose away from fainting?” He tried to defend the once hostile Pokémon’s case. “Whacha think, girl? See anything out of the ordinary? Like a mind control device or something?” He invited his Ninjask to more closely examine the Rockruff, her ability to fly giving her more range of perspective to inspect the Puppy Pokémon.

“Kenbla?” [What about those other guys? You’re letting N and that Galarian chick’s team mash them into fainting!] Clucky whined with an impatient arm fold.
“Ludi, colo.” [Well if Purp’s onto something, we’d need someone to lead us to the source, wouldn’t we?] Kappineapple suggested with an unwelcome pat to his back.
“Jas.” [Quite astutely deduced, Team mate #272 Captain Pineapple the Ludicolo.] Nintenda nodded from Purple’s side.

HAi3QLw0p_1d20+2 (Zoroark's Tackle Dodge: Success! Once again, Zoroark ducked under Eevee, its tackle attack going right over here head. The dark fox Pokemon snarled as she dashed toward Eevee, who after an attack from Gloria's Coalossal, seemed to be on its last legs, barely managing to stand up after that assault. Zoroark was just about to sink its claws into the Eevee's fluffy chest, when N pushed his way in front of his Pokemon, shielding the Eevee from any further harm "ZOROARK!" N yelled, trying to snap her out of her fury. N didn't raise his voice all that often, so when he did, it was a signal to his Pokemon that they'd better start listening to him. With a huff, Zoroark eventually backed off, growling still at the scrap of fluff that was Eevee. "We weren't coming here to wrack such pain on anyone, regardless of how they acted towards us. So back off! Can't you see that this Eevee is very close to perishing as it is?" <"I-I....*ahem*...I suppose you're right, N. I'm sorry"> Zoroark growled in a bit of a forced apology. With that, N nodded, satisfied that his Pokemon wouldn't be a problem for now, gently started walking toward the injured Eevee. "Alright now...Easy. Try not to move too much." he spoke gently to the injured Pokemon, trying to calm it down a little. "Now, can you tell me why you're doing this? What are you protecting?" p_1d20+2 (N's attempt at getting an answer.)

Purple! You notice there's...no sort of device attached to Rockruff. What you can notice though, is that their pupils were dilated and...empty, as if the Pokémon was in some sort of trance. As the Trainer approached them, Rockruff weakly growled and tried to attack again, but it proves to be another futile endeavor, as they trip on their feet and fall over on the ground.

As for N, the Eevee looked about ready to attack as N approached, but...slowly shifted to just sitting down instead, seemingly giving up on fighting to the bitter end. As N asked his question, the Eevee seemed to scrutinize the Trainer walking up to them before not saying anything. They looked to still be kind of wary of the other...though they don't seem to be attacking anymore.

((Purple! N! You guys get a shot at snapping the other two Pokemon out of it without the need of knocking them out. You can still go the old fashioned way if you're not confident, but either the Trainer or one of their Pokemon needs to roll a 12+ in CHA to successfully get through them.

Also, N. Since you're good at talking with Pokemon, you get to use that bonus again. How handy!))

Gloria, looking at the two trying to solve the problem in a way that didn't include fainting, awkwardly moves over to Shinx and settles her Bag on the ground, looking for an item...she eventually pulls out a Revive, and gave the medicine to the fainted Pokemon. It takes a moment, but eventually, Shinx wakes up.

"Shi...nx? Shinx? <Where...am I? What happened?>" The Shinx would...speak? It seemed like knocking him out and reviving him brought the Pokemon back to his senses. The Shinx would lay his eyes on Gloria. "Hey, it's all right, lil' fella. No need to--"

"Shinx! Shinx! <Don't stay here! You gotta go!>" Shinx suddenly pleaded to the human holding him. "Coal! Lossal? <Hey, hang on for jus' a second, lad! What could ye mean by that?>" Coalossal intervened, striking a conversation with the previously frenzied Pokemon. "Shinx...Shin! Shinx! <The big guy who controls the forest...he really hates humans! He's gonna do something awful to you all if you stay!>"

...The big guy who controls the forest? What could this mean? Who could it even be?

From the safety of the bubble, Purple examined the Rockruff, inspecting its ears, neck and paws for any signs of a manipulation device. Though he was yet to find anything, Nintenda on the other paw, noticed something out of the ordinary immediately on its face.
“Nin…” <Most perplexing…> She squinted at the Puppy Pokémon’s face. “Jask:” <Master, please observe:> She beaconed her trainer, who was currently inspecting the other end. Coming around to her side, Purple noticed that the Rockruff’s pupils were not only unhealthily dilated, but they were soullessly aimless; not even following Nintenda’s claw as she wagged it in front of its face.
“…Spooky. Nice detective work, girl.” Purple praised his Pokémon with a pat. “Poor thing’s in some sort of trance. How do we break it?” The trainer and Pokémon both shared a contemplative chin scratch. “Oh, I know! I saw this in a movie once.” He winked as he dug into his backpack for his PokéNavPlus. “All it should take is a bright flash of light, like a camera’s.” He set it to the photography feature of the AreaNav and handed it to his Ninjask. “Nin…Jask?” <I do suppose it is worth the experiment…> Nintenda shrugged as she accepted the deviced and set the flash on. “ Ja.” <Say Galarian coagulated lacation.> “Moo Moo Cheese~!” Purple posed photogenically with the Rockruff, making sure it was facing the camera.

As N drew closer to the Eevee, the Evolution Pokemon seemed to quiet down, At least he didn't have to worry about it attacking him or Zoroark now, at least. However, Eevee still hadn't answered him. Hmm...perhaps he could sweeten the deal a little bit? Stopping where he was for a second, N signaled to the Eevee to wait a moment, before withdrawing a small plastic bag from his pocket and holding it up so the Eevee could see it. Inside, there was a few Poffins and a couple berries that N kept on himself just in case one of his Pokemon got hungry. "Here. You can have a couple of these if you like. They'll help your wounds heal. Now can you please tell me what's going on here?" czBeBCk5p_1d20+2 (N's Pokemon Pursuasion!) As N waited for the Eevee to speak up, he caught part of the panicked pleas of the Shinx that Gloria was holding in her hands, who looked a little better now that it wasn't attacking them relentlessly. The Shinx's words caused both N and Zoroark to raise a brow. The big guy that controls the forest? What on earth could that mean? Whatever that was supposed to mean, it sounded as if something didn't want them there. But what? And did it have something to do with why these Pokemon started attacking them? N didn't know, but perhaps the Eevee, as well as the Rocknruff that Purple was tending to had some answers for them...
