It still felt weird basically helping a Time God's minion when she seeked to kill one but her friend was right. An experience like this would be invaluable in her mission. She looked at the staff for a moment, seeing the cracks on the orb... To think someone was disrupting what happened in an already uphill war...

"I am now ready to go as soon as you are. Don't want to keep the abnormalities waiting, right?" She added... The voice has not spoken up for quite a bit... oh well, they came and went as much as they pleased. A dependable ally but not reliable to always be on time herself. Still, she has to have some gratitude for the training against gods.

That sounded like it would be very tough so he had to make sure he was fully prepared for this. Getting himself to the assigned area Emil would smile as he saw the others he would be working with.

A mister Vent and miss Raffina along with the mission director Mimi. Emil had walked in as he saw the glowing gate in front of them. "Alright we're here so what is next Miss Mimi?" he would ask as he showed up wearing his usual Knight of Ratatosk clothing with his reverse hilt sword in its sheathe.

The Roaring sound of the very rifts of time emanated from the staff, as  the four were wrapped around inside of a Clock-shaped Sigil on the ground, The entire world of Li fading away like echoes across time, until eventually becoming a Black Pit...



Alight with thousands of blue squares, as the Clok the four were on flew through the tunnel like a tram car, until eventually coming up to a Blue Square, which was eminating a dark purple aura around it.

"This is it...By the way, this here is the Time Stream. Cool, huh~?" She would brag happily. "All the events of Li can be found in this tunnel, Buuut only Paradox Patrol members like *me* Can access it~" She would say..



"Oh, so does that make me one as well?" Yukari would ask, peeking from a Gap, Only to duck back inside once Mimi threw a Blueberry blast at her.

Raffina, Vent, Emil and Mimi would suddenly walk behind Amitie, Volga, and a Draco Centauros as they approached what looked like a Circus Building in Neo Arcadia, as a Deep Blue Bubble surrounded The Paradox Patrol...

"They cant see us right now in this bubble, So, Dont worry about any paradoxes yourself." Mimi would explain, as the bubble slowly ushered them behind the group, Amitie talked to the Draco Centauros, Discussing plans on how to get through, with Volga silently watching..

"Oh, i should explain something. When you solve a Paradox, You dont need to make sure everything goes *exactly* how it does in the original timeline. What we basically need to do, is just make sure the pieces are in place for the proper timeline to play out. Then, We can repair it, and the timeline will go as normal." Mimi would explain,as the scene played out...


A Black haired Arle appeared before Amitie, Volga, and Centauros, suddenly springing forth, an Egg-like monster appeared!



"I AM N. TRANCE, THE MASTER OF HYPNOTISM! Bow down to me, worms!"


And then, Suddenly, a Dark, Cerulean aura began surrounding Volga, as Mimi's Scepter glew bright, and spoke in a robotic, female tone of voice!

"Hypnotism?! You bastard...I refuse to be subjected to that again!!" Volga would yell out, before suddenly...

Volga Jammed his Spear clean into the gut of the Arle Doppelganger, instantly killing her,as Amitie's eyes went wide opened in trauma, yelling out a frail "A-ARLE!!!" In a mad panic, as Volga threw the deceased Arle Doppel into N. Trance, Shooting a gigantic fireball from his mouth, incinerating the both of them, The intense fires blowing back Draco!

"W-w-WAH!!! W-WHY, W-WHAT?!" Amitie would ask in a panic, tears streaming down her face, as Volga would suddenly become engulfed in a strange aura...

Raffina inspected the newcomers for a moment. The first man looked... kind of unusual. Although that is probably needing to get used to because the whole city was unusual... The other boy did not look as unusual, still not sure what to expect. "Right-Whoa!" Raffina went to turn back to Mimi just for the sudden change in scenery. The last time she has gone through space and time it was with her friend's magic but it was nothing like this.

"Time Stream..." She muttered to herself. She says only Paradox Patrolsman can access it but what about Goddesses? And if someone was messing with time here, clearly there was a way to do that. "... Does she do that a lot?" Well, either way it seems her statement was not entirely accurate regardless because that woman seemed uninvited to the conversation.

As the time came into view, Raffina was quick to notice... one individual in paticular. "A-amitie-?" she knew that the mission description was interferring in some squabbles in the past but she was expecting the chances of running into Amitie on this quest to be astronomically low. She reflexively went to clutch her daggers but did not pull them out yet. Wait, no. She's with a person that patrols time and space right now. If she just tried to kill a Goddess of it it might be risky... Besides, something was not right here. Amitie has not worn those clothes in well over a year. Either she was more lax than she thought she'd be or there's more to it. Her best option right now was to observe. Adding the fact if they were here, Amitie was not meant to die yet, who knows what damage that may cause. She'd be no better than the person she seeks to kill. She released her grip on her swords and continued following in silence.

Then Volga got a power boost and started going on a rampage. Was that strange energy the cause to all this? That raised some questions but since the time was to act...

With a sideflip over the flames, Raffina gave a glance over to Amitie for a moment. Mimi protected her and according to the instructions... Protecting the person she was training herself to kill was certainly going to be an exercise in patience. "I thought you two were on the same side. Not nice to turn your back on a lady you know!" Raffina called out as she pulled her Twin Slayers out of their sheathes and started doing an aerial spin towards Volga, quickly gaining speed and forming a yellow and pink vortex made of her life force around her to shred through his armor in hopes of leaving a severe wound. Upon landing she would follow up with a powerful sidekick.

Vent would accompany Mimi to the area in question, and listen to the briefing and committing it to his memory.

But then things took a turn for the worse when they were when combat against a Paradox afflicted Volga pulled an attack to which Vent decided to block, which would make things easier for the time being.

"You know, that was not very nice of you to try and roast someone like that...  Guess I'll have to take you down, now." Vent would say as he got ready for the battle.

Vent's first order of business: delivering a series of potshots unto Volga to try and cripple him.

As Emil had entered the time stream with the rest of the party something seemed off as they were surrounded by a bubble of sorts and the time of the mission played out a lot like a movie in a way. 



"Wow this is incredible!" Emil said as he admired the view of this whole thing through the view from within the bubble. They were invisible to the eye it seemed but as things were starting to look fine and dandy Emil felt a strange aura rise from the man known as Volga.

He had a similar aura to that of when Richter had been taken over by a demon like power. This was not good and he could only watch helplessly as two of the people got roasted alive by Volga's fire breath!

The new Dark Volga was now going after Amite. With a determined face he would see that it was time to start the mission. Drawing his reverse blade from its sheathe he would move toward Volga with a burning rage.



"I will not let you get away with this!" But before he could even attempt that Dark Volga would unleash his fire breath once more and it would be up to Emil to dodge it.

Emil smoothly dodged out of the way of the flames and as he dealt with that wave of fire he would stand still for a moment to show just how much he needed this to work. Emil closed his eyes as a demonic aura of his own started to surround him. This was not unlike the Paradox Mimi was used to but something was different about it. For one it wasn't a paradox and it was a controlled force of darkness. 

Opening his eyes once more his stance was much more slouched and his eyes were now a crimson red instead of emerald green. 



Ratatosk Mode Activated!

~Ratatosk Mode: Emil's eyes turn bright red as a demonic like aura surrounds his body. This is the true form of Emil in a sense as it allows attacks to hit much harder by buffing his Strength and Charisma stats by 4 for 3 turns giving a +2 modifier then after use becomes a 3 turn cooldown. [CON]



"Prepare to taste my steel!" The now darker and more confident voice said as he charged straight for Volga with some swings of his sword. Right then Left then a downward strike to finish the combo.

Emil was hardly done though as he would attempt a Ravaging Tiger on Dark Volga. This attack would use an upward slash then Emil jumps into the air and performs a crescent moon downward slash that unleashes a strike of lightning that shoots downward as the slash connects. Emil will land back onto the ground after the attack. "Mission understood. We need to protect this girl at all costs." Emil said as he prepared another attack.

With Raffitroi's Twin-tornado strike,  Volga was upruptly stopped, as the twin tornado, which ripped apart the Dragon Man's Armor plating  was torn apart, spraying out some Neon-red Glowing Blood, as the Mortality of his wounds was revealed rather quickly! Volga growled out a snarl from his mouth, as He would suddenly grab Raffitrois's Leg Mid-kick!

(Volga's Special Passive Revealed! Volga can perform a Free Attack as a counter any Melee Attack below his hit threshold!)

And with that, Volga's Other Arm would morph in shape to that of a massive dragon's claw, Suddenly sucker punching Raffitroi away!

Following that, Two buster shots hit Volga's armor plating, Making him look with his glowing blue eye towards him, Which, Volga would immediately slap both of Vent's attempted attacks, And instead Grab Vent by his shoulders, Hoisting him up and straight up Headbutting the dude!

(Vent! Dex Check of 10 to avoid the counter, or take yourself a whoppin' 22% Damage!)

However, Emil happened to make some really good headway, as The First Swing Struck Volga head on, Though the Dragon man avoided the second hit, and immediately stomped a Draconic Foot on Emil's own Foot to stall him!

However, the third swing struck Volga once again, as Volga roared out in anger, only to be met with a blast from the Ravaging tiger! ..Well, Now Volga was entirely focused on Emil.

Following that, Volga would lift his Spear into the air, His spewing breath suddenly being spun around on his spear, as he looked back to the Unfortunate Vent, And suddenly flinging a Fireball at his direction!

"Taffy Stretch Fist!" Mimi would yell out, As suddenly, Mimi sent a Stretching Fist flying across the Field, Suddenly smashing Volga's face in and sending the angry dragon back!

Not polite to grab a lady midkick either!" she called out, trying to struggle out of Volga's hold before noticing his other hand change shape.Thinking fast she held up her arms in cross formation, shielding the blow with a yellow and pink aura before flying away. She managed to hit the landing. It's a good thing this is not new to her training regiment... "Alright... I guess if I'm going to beat some sense into you I am going to need to be more focused..." she relented as she looked back at Amitie.

"... Hey, Mimi. If we fix this time will go back to normal, right? Amitie will not remember us coming out of nowhere to beat up her compatriot who suddenly gone rogue?" she asked for clarifiaction as she straightened her stance and then got into a bottle posture before breathing in and out. Her breathing was focused and deliberate as a pink aura flowed off her body.
