A Great storm of vitriolic hate was gathered around a traveling group of Two, Both of the Life Sphere's leaders, Accompanied by Samus's Tall-standing Digimon, Alphamon, whom used his cape to block Mario and Samus's visage from constant Camera flashes that were taken by the growing mob, as Samus would roll her eyes, walking carefully as her body was still fairly singed after the events of Fighting the Sun God Solaris. Thankfully though, Her face was getting a great tan started. Could of gotten that out of it.

"Hhrm..." Samus would mull, clearly a bit disliking the media attention, as she moved close to Mario. "Seems 'Sonic' had quite a few...Zealous Followers." Samus would say, as they turned the corner to arrive at there destination. The Magical Girl Society's Communal Repository. "She's probably here, resting up." Samus would say, looking to Mario with a nod, as she held the door open and allowed Mario to come in first, Before slipping in second, as Alphamon guarded the door.



"Ah, Samus, Mario! ...My, You two look positively Toasty!" Cynthia would say, Noting Mario and Samus's battle damage, along with the Solar-god Sun Tan, quickly walking over and smiling. "What do we owe the pleasure?....Besides escaping the mob you guys seem to of compiled." Cynthia would ask, before looking at Mario. "And...??" Cynthia was clearly a bit confused by Mario's presence. 

"Hello, Cynthia...Erm, Were actually on important buisness." Samus would say, smiling to Mario.


"Is Arle Here, By Chance?"

They managed to prevent a catastrophe around Li and in the end they had to lie low for a bit in the city they led... He did not blame them, Mephiles put on such a good act that even he was convinced... And he did offer something very appealing for some, an escape from a doomed planet. Still, he was usually regarded as a hero when he was recogonized. He hasn't been treated with this much scorn since his vacation to Isle Delfino... But this time there was no stopping someone faking his identity like Bowser Jr did.

"We saved them all and they are treating us like we are the fakes.." Cappy remarked quietly atop Mario's head as he followed Samus with Alphamon to their destination at the Magical Girl Society. He lowered Cappy's brim a bit to cover his face a bit more... but also to keep him from looking at the citizens surrounding them. "Yeah, I was-a expecting this since Sonic did have-a some people to his cause... But did not expect the fallout to be this-a bad..." Mario said queitly as they approached the Magical Girl Society. He respected this place by... not really visiting it, leaving that to Samus, even if Peach probably would not mind him showing up, she had this place handled fairly well. The plumber raised Cappy as he walked into the building to see... Cynthia from what Samus said.

Mario nodded in agreement with Samus. "I-a made sure to send notice I'd be here. While I would-a not mind some shelter right now this is-a business trip," he joked a bit letting Samus continue after explaining since she was more familiar with this paticular spot of the city.

As Mario and Samus entered, a few girls who called the Magical Girl's Society Lodge their home perked up to get a look at who it was. There was a note of shock amongst them. First of all, there was a boy inside. ...But they knew who Mario was. Peach wasn't exactly silent about her feelings toward him, and he was a life sphere leader. The result was that his presence went entirely unquestioned. Their gazes, however, were full of worry. They knew why Mario and Samus were here. ...It was because she killed Sonic, wasn't it? They could hear the shouting, and they, for the most part, understood how Arle felt toward him. They may not have been there, but they could piece two and two together. Arle had gone running off on her own without letting anyone know where she was going. She'd come back scorched to heck with a critically wounded Amy. And Sonic was ... dead. They all knew this wasn't how things were supposed to go. Which left just one question on the tips of their tongues. One which only one of the bolder girls would actually voice.

" . . . Is... Arle going to prison?"

Peach stepped out from a nearby doorway off to the side. "--She's in here..." Peach quietly explained in a hushed tone. She knew this situation was out of her hands at this point. Beckoning the two inside, they would find the sleeping area. A few beds were lined up, on one of which currently laid Amy, attempting to rest. She looked a little better than when they'd left, likely having been tended to by Arle. Speaking of whom, she was sitting on the bed next to Amy, just kind of staring off into space in thought for a moment before she glanced over her shoulder at the group. "--Oh, hi..." Arle softly replied, on the same page as everyone else as to what she'd done. Samus had explicitly asked her not to get into a fight with Sonic, but here she was. His ...Mephiles' blood was on her hands, and well... "Guess all that yelling outside is my fault, huh." Arle hesitantly added.

"...Thank you, Peach. If we could, We need to speak to her privately. Im sure you understand." Samus would reply, Nodding to her direction as she quickly moved into the room where Arle was in, Decidedly not giving Raffina an answer. If anything, she couldn't exactly explain why Mario and her was here, Not just yet anyway, as she allowed everyone friendly Plumber to come inside first and foremost. Samus closed the door behind them, muffling the roaring crowd outside a little bit more, as Samus quickly made way to the Bed Arle was sat upon, Taking a seat right next to her. 

"I'd say its more everyone's fault...Sonic-- Erm...Well, "Sonic" " Samus said, Giving quotation marks with her fingers. "Gave them a false hope about leaving Li, when there really wasnt an option. And when you have hope taken away, There tends to be alot of backlash." Samus would explain, before rubbing the back of her head. "...Kind of my fault more than anything, launching a full scale attack like that...It worked out in the end, But, here we are." She would say, before looking to Mario, Nodding softly to let him know she was gonna go ahead and start. "Im not saying i approve of What happened, of course. But, It was an unfortunate accident..."


"But...Thats not why were here today, Arle. You didnt do anything Wrong, so we dont have any reason to press a criminal action to you. Infact...Erm..." Samus would look away, seemingly a bit flustered...Was that Pride on her face? Or perhaps just a nervous feeling.  "...With Sonic Gone...Well, There's now a spot that needs to be filled. Mario and I Discussed it ever since we left Absolution, And we both agree'd on this..."

"Arle, We want to offer you a position as a Leader in the Life Sphere, In place of Sonic...Will you accept?"

Samus would say, before looking to Mario, hoping the plumber would help her sell the point.

"Mario, Would you like to explain the actual details, please?" Samus would ask of him, Clearly a bit shaken up herself just saying those words. "Its a really big title, After all..."

"Thank you, Princess, we'll be just-a moment," Mario declared as he bowed for a  moment respectfully with cappy taken off into his hand. He chose to be respectful to royalty even if he kind of had one of the strongest political status on this planet... As odd as that was to say or think. He quickly ended the gesture though as it was best not to dawdle. What the people out here knew depended on this meeting afterall and as Samus said, this was a private matter, for now. "Of course-a not, as Samus says, this was pretty much inevitable the moment Sonic took-a action," the plumber reinstated before allowing Samus to explain the important stuff, taking a seat on a bed opposite Arle, to sit directly opposite her as opposed to next to her like Samus... Had to expect a girl's personal space and all, especially here.

"Of-a course, Samus. As you probably know, it's the Leaders' jobs to enforce and make sure the city and it's people stay safe, organize what they need, and general overlook and preparation and stuff. However, above that we are kind of like-a symbol of hope. Not false hopes like Mephiles gave either. No, we present our solutions-a and make the strategy to help our supporters there. I am currently working on a path myself than straight for the Goal Post. We'll get there but it-a became obvious I can't tackle that immediately. You are a recongonizable star, a brave hero as probably-a either of us and you are certainly more trustworthy than Sonic. We feel you could help-a us protect and give this city hope it needs-a right now... Obviously we can't-a make you and you'd need some solution to get people behind you but this time I would be-a sure that we will be proper leaders and not stalling on internal conflict," Mario attempted to explain... Not being very matter of fact as he was an oddly casual leader.

"--...W-Wait you want to make me a l-leader??"

Somehow that was the last thing Arle expected. She wasn't qualified to lead anyone! That sounded like a lot of responsibility! More than she could possibly handle! "...Surely there's got to be someone better qualified than me, right?? What about Princess Peach?" Arle timidly replied, tapping her fingers together in an anxious manner. Just as quickly as she'd finished saying that though, she realized her mistake. Princess Peach was already buisy doing so many things. She couldn't possibly take on the role without abandoning her kingdom or the Magical Girl's Society. And who would take over in her place? Valorie? No offense to Valorie but that girl was dumb sometimes. Arle could definitely keep the sisterhood together better than she could just because she was a lot better at getting along with other girls as a whole. ...She was a much better leader as a whole.

Arle was listening to Mario explain why they were picking her when a memory came back to her. This... wasn't new. She remembered a mirage where she'd gone through a similar panic. She'd woken up and suddenly been the sole ruler of the Life Shere, and though it hadn't been real she'd thought it was real at the time, like a lucid dream. How had she handled that? ...Right, she'd panicked and gotten upset. But after that, what'd she do? She'd ... assembled her friends, and used her many connections and friendships to build a circle of trusted advisors to help her run things. She'd been the sole leader, but she'd been far from alone. Arle softly sighed. "Sorry... I guess this just took me off guard. ...I don't think I have what it takes to do this alone." Arle softly replied. "I mean, I'm just a girl. I'm not even a woman yet." Arle replied, chuckling slightly at the absurdity of the idea. "But--um...I kinda see what you mean. There are a lot of people out there who like me a lot. Some of them a little too much~ I get a lot of fan mail. It always felt really weird, like I didn't deserve it or something. But maybe there's something to that." Arle mused aloud, going quiet for a brief moment. "...I don't think I'm ready to be a leader. ...But if you both think I have what it takes... I'm willing to learn. Maybe with your help, and the help of my friends, I could be that hope people really need." Arle hesitantly replied. She smiled briefly, summoning as much bravery as she could. There was a clear weakness to her smile. She wasn't entirely sure of herself and it was hard to exercise confidence.

"...I think I have an idea of the message I want to send." Arle mused aloud. "Sonic wanted to escape this planet, right? A lot of people want to go back home, to the way things were before. Or leave this place, and find a new place. But... if Peach's castle is here on Li, and my house is here on Li, how do we know our worlds are even there to go back to? How do we know there's anything but Li?" Arle asked. "...I think... it's important to talk about fixing our planet instead. That's the hope I want to give. That people like me. Not even just heroes, but regular people, can help fix our planet." Arle offered, timidly looking to Mario and Samus for their approval. She still seemed kind of unsure of herself, but maybe she'd grow into the role.

Samus would sigh a little, as all she could do to answer Arle's question about Peach, was just look around the entirety of the Building that they were sat inside to answer immediately. Samus did muse the idea of offering this role to Peach as well...But, really, Samus couldn't put that responsibility to Peach. She knew that Peach's place and comfort was here, so why make her life harder? Samus nodded along as Mario explained the direction of everything to Arle. Samus laughed a little at Arle's remark. "I remember when i said the same thing when i was asked to participate in Old Bird's training." Samus would say, Feeling a tinge of familiarity with Arle's concerns about her Age. 

"I mean...Mario and I do go through each and every mission reported, successful or no through I.O.N you know." Samus would say, smiling. "And you're one of the most successful people here. Your always so active-- So Out there, So willing to help everyone...Thats the exact kind of person The Life Sphere...No. All of Li needs right now." Samus would say. "And...If you need help, Thats exactly what were here for Arle. Mario, Me, Peach...*We* Can be the help that the Life Sphere needs." Samus would say, Smiling.


"...Hm..." Samus would mull a bit on the statement Arle had made. She wanted to...Fix Li. To make it a better planet instead of trying to escape. Samus nodded. "That sounds fine to me. I...Still think Sonic's supporters will be against it, But, thats how politics work, i supopose." Samus would say, Before looking to Mario.

"Anything you'd like to add, Mario?"

The plumber simply shook his head at Arle's suggestions of Peach, letting her figure it out herself. Him and Samus did bring the idea of Peach up but were in agreement that they should not put that extra effort on the Princess. She was already running this place, helping with charities and keeping her kingdom alive. They could not dream of adding Leadership of the Life Sphere on that burden.

"To be-a honest I had my own doubts over this-a job. That might of what aided to Mephiles's Plans getting that-a far. It's only recently that I gained faith I needed to properly lead myself," Mario added. "We aren't-a expecting you to take these responsibilities all by yourself. We'll give you any aide you need," he continued with a smile and nod.

"So, I'm not the only one? We don't-a know how our worlds are and I doubt this many-a chunks being taken will leave them the same. Look at-a Hyrule. Is there even a Hyrule back home for them to return-a to? If I did not have my own-a plans I'd probably agree with you," the leader chuckled scratching his head. "Besides, it'll be nice not having to butt heads like Sonic with-a opposing priorities. We might-a even be able to work together towards our causes of saving the lands and people," he finished as he stood up.

"So, Arle, what do you-a say? Want to help us lead the Life Sphere towards-a brighter future?" Mario asked once more as he stood up and held his hand out for Arle to shake. It just felt right to him since they were going to be in this battle against one of the biggest threats to the worlds since Tabuu.

Arle was momentarily stunned by Samus' revelation. They'd been... watching her? She hadn't had a clue! She'd just assumed... So that was why Samus liked her. She slowly gained a greater understanding of why she'd been chosen. She was chosen for her qualities as a hero, not because she was the best fit to run a city. That was merely an afterthought, even for them. It made sense. Arle would reach out and take Mario's hand, a bright smile on her face. "Right! It's no use defeating the starvia if there's no planet left to move back out into and there's no use healing the planet if the starvia's still around to ruin it again. But if we work together, our plans will both go a lot smoother!" Arle explained, lightly cupping Mario's hand in both of hers and bowing her head slightly in a somewhat awkward fashion. It was obvious that she wasn't quite used to shaking hands, but she did her best. The young magician then stood back up and beamed at Samus briefly. "...I'll do it. Th-Thanks. Both of you. I'll try my best. What do I have to do first?" Arle replied, a weight falling both off and onto her shoulders.

"Well, for right now. You just sit back and try to rest. I dont think anyone would be ready to embrace a crowd like the Life Sphere's after what you've been through." Samus would say, Smiling and getting up. "Me and Mario are going to go prepare an announcement to help ease the Life Sphere's minds as to recent events. There's too many rumors going around about Absolution being staged, or that we faked Mephiles's Betrayal just to get rid of Sonic..." She would say, sighing softly, before looking to Arle.

"Just make sure your ready for the responsibility as well...Me and Mario will take the brunt of it, But, Even the littlest mistake could cause alot of backlash. But i know you'll do great Arle." Samus would smile, Soon coming over and petting Arle's hair. "Now, I'll go lead the crowd away so you can get some rest, and so can Mario. You've both worked too hard to get hounded by the Press this much." Samus would say, Getting up and opening the door, stepping out.

"...One more thing. Arle...You really do make me proud. Im excited to see what you do for Li." Samus would say, Before walking out, and fully embracing the outside world of Li...Not before coming to Peach.  "Erm...I hope you approve of me asking Arle to be a Leader..." Samus would say, Seeing Peach was Arle's Impromtu mother figure, As well as Samus's own special someone...Which, i suppose made Samus as well the Mother figure here-- Regardless, Samus would smile. "I just...Hope it wouldn't surprise you, or catch you off guard to hear it from someone else." Samus would say,

After Samus had left Arle to rest and Mario ... Peach greeted Samus with a bright smile in turn. “I do believe you've chosen the most passionate girl for the job, and I'm grateful that you told me. I do hope that you'll keep an eye on her when I am unable to, but yes--I think I do approve of your choice.” Peach thoughtfully replied. “...I know you must have a great many things to tend to after all that has happened, but I was hoping to give you a hug before you left.” Peach softly added, beaming slightly at the other and moving to embrace her fully. She'd hold Samus in that embrace for a good long moment. “--I'll look forward to seeing you again soon, better tidings given.”
