Sonic the Hedgehog	Sonic Boom	The titular character of the "Sonic the Hedgehog" series, specifically his incarnation as the blue blur and defender of Hedgehog Village (formerly unnamed), Seaside Island, and the world proper (whenever it needs it.) He's the same Sonic everyone knows and loves... but his personality traits have been turned up to 11. Sonic's bold and rash, quick to action to such a degree it can just as easily get him into trouble as it does out of it, not to mention prideful of his own abilities to the point where he has no shame boasting about them every so often. He's... honestly a bit of a jerk half the time, but he means well (for the most part). Hell, him and Eggman are practically frenemies despite fighting all the time!
Chris Thorndyke	Sonic X	The main character of Sonic X... Yup, not Sonic. Because that'd make too much sense. Anyway here's Chris Thorndyke, the rich whiny brat/technologically inclined rich brat who idolizes his best friend, the blue hedgehog everyone knows and loves. Even though he's a squishy human, it hasn't stopped Chris from breaking into government facilities, fighting Eggman robots, and even constructing a gateway to a parallel universe for his friends (specifically Sonic); so despite his faults, he's far from useless. I could foresee using one of two incarnations of Chris if I apped him: Adult Chris or Kid Chris. Either one would likely focus their moveset and abilities about their technological prowess since it is one of their only (later developed) skills... besides rollerblading?
Shadow the Hedgehog	Sonic Boom	WARNING! WARNING! MAXIMUM EDGE APPROACHING! Yup, that's right. It's Shadow but edgier in a good way. This version of the hedgehog is known to be overly dramatic and villainous over even the most mundane things. It's hilarious, and despite being more of a villain than an anti-hero, he's a character I and many find quite enjoyable.

Knuckles the Echidna	Sonic Boom	Knuckles! Unlike his modern and classic incarnations, this Echidna is rougher than the rest of them, tougher than leather, and knows how to chuckle. He's a dumb beefcake who has random bouts of critical thinking; but we love him all the same. He also considers himself the charismatic and heroic leader of team-Sonic, so take that as you will.
Dark Oak	Sonic X	The main antagonist of Sonic X's final season and the only original villain of notoriety that the series was able to produce. He's an intimidating intergalactic conqueror with a goal to steal the planet egg of every celestial body among the stars! This guy has it all: The black armor, the cool sword, an intimidating robo-voice, a robot army of unlimited quantity, and not to mention would finally serve as a villainous character to my roster of goodie-goodie two-shoes.
Eggman	Sonic Boom	The E.G.G.M.A.N! That's what I said! Unlike modern and even classic Eggman, this version of the evil doctor is... honestly not that evil. Like, he still attacks villages and people with robots, does evilish schemes, and bothers Sonic's team to no end; but at the same time he'll take the time to get to know them, has game-nights with his arch enemy, and enacts schemes more out of boredom or spite than real evil. A benign and fittingly childish take on the evil doctor!
Justin Beaver	Sonic Boom	It's Justin Bieber.... as a beaver... in Sonic. You can't make this stuff up folks! YOU JUST CAN'T!!!
Lancelot	Sonic & the Black Knight	Pretty much the knight Lancelot from the story of King Arthur, with the twist being that it's also Shadow! They have chaos powers, but they also wield a baddass longsword and speak in old-english. Not the most fleshed out or iconic character in the poll, but someone I think I could have fun playing around with and have always had a fascination with when playing Sonic & The Black Knight.
