Lusamine
Alola
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Motto: “I’ll protect you with my love!”
Allies/Friends: Guzma, Wicke, Faba, Aether Employees, Steve, Mohn
Enemies/Rivals: Sun, Moon, Hau, Gladion, Lillie
Backstory: Beginning her career as a lead researcher at the Aether Foundation, along with her husband, Mohn, Lusamine soon climbed the ranks to become the president of the organization where her love for Pokemon and her nurturing nature became even stronger. The creatures of Alola could rest safely, knowing that if they were ever in danger they would be protected under her watchful eye.
As the Ultra Wormholes began to invade the Alolan region though, the Aether Foundation and, by extension, Lusamine became interested in both them and the Ultra Beasts that often accompanied them. During an experiment, Mohn managed to recreate an Ultra Wormhole and ventured through it but was lost through space and time. Out of sheer desperation, Lusamine continued her husband’s research with the notes that he left behind and the Cosmog that was found in his place. Over time she became obsessive over finding the creature known as Nihilego, losing track of her original goal.
During this time, both of her children abandoned her, her daughter Lillie taking the Cosmog which was essential in her plans to open an Ultra Wormhole of her own. With time, the Pokemon was brought back into her possession and her plans proceeded from there.
Wiki
Appearance:
History On Li: Upon opening the Ultra Wormhole in pursuit of Nihilego, Lusamine found herself quite lost in Ultra Space without a proper guide. In due time, she found herself stumbling through time and space until she blacked out. Upon waking up, she found herself in the outskirts of Li, no closer to her goal than when she first began her research on Ultra Wormholes. She hadn’t much time to fret about it though, quickly detecting the dangers that the planet posed.
Lusamine’s location was far outside the reach of the Life Sphere, but she managed to find a small camp of people in her position as well. Among these unfortunate wanders of the outer circles of Li was an employee of hers, Steve. She resumed her position as Steve’s boss with very little opposition from him. It was only the beginning of her reign over the small camp though. In good time, she rallied the people of the camp, changing their fate from easy picking to for the Starvia to survivors. Based on their survey of the landscape, they eventually discovered the Life Sphere.
This stint quickly gave Lusamine a following, one she could use to rebuild the Aether Foundation on Li. After all, there were plenty of Pokemon that roamed the planet, plenty enough that needed Lusamine’s protection. While Nihilego called for Lusamine to find them, she had business to care of on this planet. There was so little beauty that Li had to offer, Lusamine had to preserve whatever she could find.
Other Info:
Lillie (Lilligant)
Lusamine considers Lillie to be the daughter she never had. As such, Lillie is spoiled by Lusamine’s love and affection, making the Pokemon quite vain and stuck up in the process.

Leaf Storm: Deals 30% damage, however, Lillie receives a -2 WIS Mod penalty on the next turn. 1 turn cooldown.

Leech Seed: Lillie spews a barrage of seeds from her flower. The seeds latch on to the opponent, growing almost instantaneously on the victim and inflicting the Flower status on them. The level is determined by the target’s CON Mod.
5+: Level 1
4-3: Level 2
2-1: Level 3
0: Level 4
-1--2: Level 5
-3--4: Level 6
-5-: Level 7
Hidden Power: Summoning mystical forces from within, Lillie releases her Hidden Power! The make of the Pokemon determines its strength, thus the attack changes depending on what her highest stat is (in case of a tie, the top most result will be used).
Fighting (STR): Deals 26%, user loses -2 to STR Mod for 2 turns.
Electric (DEX): Deals 10% + DEX Mod. 30% chance to Paralyze.
Rock (CON): Deals 24%, -2 to accuracy.

Quiver Dance: Performing her butterfly dance, Lillie preps herself for combat. This boosts her WIS and DEX Modifiers by +2 for 2 turns with a cooldown rate of 3 turns.
Final Smash
Bloom Doom: Lillie glows with immense power as Lusamine activates her Z-Ring. The radiant energy can cause fresh grass and foliage to sprout out of even the driest landscape. Lillie sends this energy forth, a path of plant matter barreling towards her opponent. Once it meets her target, a series of vines snare them in place, allowing a set of bulbs to sprout on their body. The bulbs bloom and release an explosive shockwave that deals 50% damage and inflicts the foe with a level 8 Flower status.
Snuggems (Bewear)
Snuggems is, as her name would suggest, quite the cuddly beast. She is gentle and good natured, so long as everything is calm and serene. Should one thing go out of line though, it is a slippery slope that could set Snuggems off into a fit of rage. There is very little that can quell her once she goes berserk.

Primary Attacks (3)
Mega Kick: Snuggems leaps forward, performing a flying drop kick at her opponent. As to be expected from a not so agile fighter, it is by no means graceful. This attack deals 27%, but suffers from -3 accuracy.
Hammer Arm: With her immense strength, Snuggems smashes her foe with her arm in a hammering motion. Deals 17% + Snuggems’s STR Mod – Opponent’s CON Mod. 1 turn cooldown.
Force Palm: 5% + 10% chance to Paralyze.
Special Attacks (3)
Work Up: Snuggems becomes infuriated, during which her level of strength becomes unpredictable. In this fit of rage, her STR Mod increases by +1 and her Crit chances quintuple, however, she no longer crits at nat 20. Instead, Snuggems will crit within the range of nat 8-12, though they only receive the damage boost benefit. This lasts for 2 turns and has a 2 turn cooldown.
Stomping Tantrum: Lashing out in sheer frustration, Snuggems ruptures the ground beneath her, sending jagged edges of stones and earth at her foes. She has many different levels of frustration though, one that can influence her damage output for this attack, her leading source of this is missing attacks. The level of severity depends on how many attacks Snuggems missed on the previous turn of combat (Light Attack combos will be rounded based on the results and count as 1 attack). 1 turn cooldown
Level 0: Deals 13%.
Level 1: Deals 19%.
Level 2: Deals 22% + 20% chance to inflict Fear status.
Level 3: Deals 28% + 30% chance to inflict Fear status + 30% chance to inflict Stun.
Rock Tomb: Summoning rocks to her aid, Snuggems tosses them at her foe to bury and impede their movement. This attack deals 15% base damage, however, if the foe’s dodge roll is half or lower than this attack’s roll it deals 7% more damage, in addition to lowering the foe’s DEX Mod by -2 for the remainder of the turn.
Final Smash
Z-Bulk Up: Immense power surges through Snuggems as Lusamine activates her Fightingium Z. Instead of bursting the energy outward, Snuggems stores it inward. This increases her fortitude immensely, making her capable of taking all sorts of abuse. Snuggems takes half of the damage she normally would from attacks. Not only can she take more abuse, she can dish out more as well. During this time Snuggems receives a 6% damage buff to all her attacks. In 2 turns time though, all the Z-Energy is exhausted.
Melody (Milotic)
Melody had only recently evolved from a Feebas, as such she often forgets that she’s a graceful Milotic. Melody can be seen very often with a wide-eyed expression on its face, smacking its lips like a fish.

Primary Attacks (3)
Scald: 18% + 30% chance to Burn. 1 turn cooldown.
Hydro Pump: 30% damage. Costs 2 combat actions and 1 turn cooldown. If Melody has the Soaked status infliction, she may expend it to power up this attack by 5%.
Disarming Voice: Like a siren’s song, Milotic’s melodic voice at first soothes the target with its hymns, but as it echoes through their mind it triggers an intense rush of pain. Deals 17% + Melody’s CHR Mod, targets INT.
Special Attacks (3)
Marvel Scale: While under a negative status infliction (Burn, Flower, Frozen, Mortal Wound, Paralysis, Poison, Sickness, Sleep) Melody’s skin becomes significantly tougher. For the duration of the status infliction, Melody takes 6% less damage than she normally would from STR based attacks. However, when struck by a Critical Hit or a Final Smash, she will take the full damage.
Attract: Melody inflicts the Infatuation status by flaunting her natural beauty at the opponent. Once the status is inflicted, Melody can continue to use this attack to aggro the enemy. CHR vs INT, if the difference 5 or lower, the enemy is only forced to expend 1 combat action. 6-11, the enemy must expend 2 combat actions. If the difference is greater than 11, all combat actions must be expended on Melody.
Aqua Ring: Melody summons a ring of water around her person, entrenching her and any ally that chooses to hop in her ring in a thick coating of water. During this time, they will gain the Soak status and be healed by 1d6 + CHR Mod for every turn they have this status infliction (3 turns max). 2 turn cooldown.
Final Smash
Z-Rain Dance: From the power of the Waterium Z Crystal, Melody’s body is infused with its raw power, giving her +1 to her WIS and CHR Mods. She shoots the energy skyward, which summons a series of clouds over the battlefield. A heavy rain will follow afterwards. This has various effects on combat. Water-based moves will have their damage increased by 6%, electric-based moves gain +2 to accuracy, and fire-based attacks will be reduced by 6%. This will also boost Aqua Ring’s healing ability, making it heal 6% extra hp per turn.
Steve
Steve might not be the top of the class scientist, but he makes for a good Pokemon Trainer, and sometimes that’s all he needs for a resume! He’s a loyal minion to Lusamine and is ready and willing to do anything at her beck and call.

Primary Attacks (3)
Adrenaline Orb: Steve hurls an Adrenaline Orb at the opponent! At first it is a minor annoyance at best, but upon contacting and bursting open on the target they will begin to feel a sudden rush that will infuriate them! 8% + 70% chance to inflict Berserk.
Dowsing Machine: A handy metal detector that is quite helpful for any researcher on the field. When push comes to shove though, it also makes for an adequate club! 18%.
Iced Preservation: Utilizing an Aether Foundation marked Freeze-Ray, Steve attempts to preserve and protect his opponent in a nice cage of ice. Deals 13% damage and has a 30% chance to Freeze.
Special Attacks (3)
X-Booster: Steve is always prepared for battle, as such he keeps the ever-popular Stat boost items on standby. He can only administer them to an ally, as they don’t quite work on himself. All Stat boosts last 2 turns with a 2-turn cooldown.
X-ATK: +2 STR Mod.
X-DEF: +2 CON Mod.
X-SP. ATK: +2 WIS Mod.
X-SP. DEF: +2 INT Mod.
X-SPD: +2 DEX Mod.
Moral Support: +2 CHR Mod.
Dire Hit: Increases Crit ratio, nat 17-19.
Poke-ride: Like all residents of Alola, Steve has access to the many Poke-ride Pokemon to provide him services, though he normally reserves them for when Lusamine requires them. Depending on the terrain of the battlefield, he can call a variety of Pokemon to his aid. 1 turn cooldown.
Ground: Tauros charges at the foe at full speed. Deals 25% damage, -1 to accuracy.
Water: Sharpedo shreds through the water, biting and ramming through anything in its way. 16%, 30% chance to Mortal Wound.
Air: Charizard descends from the sky to give Steve a lift, in addition to Flare Blitz whoever is in his path. 27%, 5% recoil damage.
Poke Ball: Like any good Pokemon trainer, Steve attempts to catch the foe in one of his Pokeballs. This initiates a ranged grapple. If the foe fails to dodge the Pokeball, they get trapped within it. The target can break through the Pokeball after dealing 40% damage to it, or if they succeed in overpowering the grapple roll.
Final Smash
Z-Ring: Performing a silly dance beforehand, Steve will activate his Z-Ring and imbue its mystical powers onto an ally, making one of their attack much more grandiose. This Buff will double the power of an ally’s attack, as well as double the effectiveness of its secondary effects if it has any that can be increased. This essentially makes an ordinary attack into a Final Smash and has all the advantages of one, however, this will count as Lusamine’s Final Smash and not her ally’s.
