THE COMET HAS FINALLY FALLEN
After a long wait, the Comet is finally here, and with it, horrific creatures that defy description. No one is safe from the comet's hateful glow.
Bear relic, ritual, blade, bone, and body, whatever be your tool of war, and delve deep into the ruins of the old Mill to find the comet, and destroy it.
Defeat waves of foes to earn shards to be used in the Comet Shard Exchange Shop (Comet shards will later be usable as mission rewards! Only after the event!)
Repeat this mission, and find the true form of the Comet, to end this madness once and for all.
Travel through time and space, encountering enemies from the past and future!
Defeat horrific bosses as you delve closer to the comet's core.
Reap terrible rewards! Items, shards, and even some fragments of horrible, crystalline beasts to claim your prize!
Unique rewards await those who defeat the final boss and their hideous reflections!

EVENT RULES:
• Each team must have no less, and no more than four characters (two per user)• Teams will adventure out into the Comet Area, labeling their thread with the [COMET] tag.• At any time, if all participating members agree, the thread can be fled from at any time, instantly, and with no penalty. At which point, rewards are dished out.
• Every time during the 'Camp' phase, all characters have their health fully restored, and any items used in the thread will be refunded. If you flee before you camp, your items will NOT be refunded.
• This mission can be repeated as often as you like. Time is contorted and twisted.
• You may post an expedition team, or you can request to join a team. Tag the player whose team you wish to join with a request.
• Expedition Teams do not need names, and will simply be labeled [Leader]'s team.
• Players who bring only one character instead of two into the Comet Area will receive extra shards upon battle and boss defeat.
• Comet Shards are earned per each wave of enemies beaten, and each boss defeated.
• Once you defeat the Final Boss, you can go to the Comet Shard Exchange Shop to claim your free Dreamer's Heart item!
• Sometimes the Comet's Light will change. When this happens, encounters from the past will spring out. Users may choose one foe during Past Encounters to spawn.
Reward List:
• 5 Enemies Defeated - 5 Shards (6 if solo character)
• Wave Defeated - 10 Shards (15 if solo character)• Camp Reached - 20 Shards (30 if solo character)• Boss Beaten - 30 Shards (45 if solo character)
• Defeated Own Doppelanger - 50 Shards (55 if solo character) (Only happens once!)
• Defeated Dreamer - 50 Shards
• Played GM for the thread - 50% of shards earned (doesn't take from team exploring, just a reward for being nice)
