Dark cloud's slowly approached the night skies around the Teledrassil Enclave. As the many residents that had resided on top of the tree prepared to for the oncoming storm by barricading the shelters that they resided in and made sure nobody was outside by the time the storm had hit, which will be in half an hour, but they were not the focus of this mission, instead the mission begins at the bottom of the large sky tree, where a Toad in a weather jacket was busy waiting for Alex and Krystal to show up so the mission can begin.

The reporter hoped that one good thing would come out of the mission, and no it's not just Maribel and the monkey's safety, but he hopes that he get's good ratings doing this report, after all, it was rare for a storm that wasn't a blizzard hitting Li. "Breaking news at nine, young village girl and three monkeys have been reported mission before this storm. A kidd named Alex and a psychic fox lady are on the case, more at 10!" He said into a camera that was beside him, that unknown to him, wasn't even recording.

He stood around, waiting for Alex and Krystal some more so he can give them the basic scoop of the mission, should they have not read the mission board properly.

Meanwhile, somewhere on the enclave, Maribel Mayde and the three monkeys she found were traversing through the jungle they had now found themselves in, although Maribel was in this type of situation before, she still found jungles disgusting, still she can't show her true personality right now for these poor defenceless monkeys, as right now they need to find shelter.

Because she noticed that a storm was incoming. She turned towards the monkeys. "Bad news, I can't seem to find any shelter, and there appears to be a storm on the way, I don't want to stay in a cave what with those, disgusting monster things with the drooping purple stuff running around, do you three have any idea what we can do?" Maribel found this conversation useless, after all, they were monkeys, still it was worth giving it a shot.

One of the monkeys did point to something from behind Maribel. She turned and smiled at the building from a far.



"Of course, that mansion can do, plus nobody appears to be living in it. Come on, let's go!" The four raced towards the manor, unaware of the two figures that were watching them, one appeared to be human, but it appeared that the mysterious human man had a few, robotic things sticking out of him, and the second figure was only growling and making weird noises. He also did not resemble a human at all, the figure also appeared to have what looked to be a duck on it's head.

"Were close, to my new experiments, if the master was here he would be proud. I'm not sure what we can do with the girl though, we can just kill her." The two proceeded to walk towards the manor, to cause mayhem to the girl and the monkeys.

MISSION START!

A storm was brewing, and from what Krystal could tell, this wasn't a normal occurrence on this planet. With that in mind, the safety of the girl and her three monkeys was being threatened, and it was her job to make sure they weren't harmed. Or at least it would be if she could get her Arwing to co-operate. The ship wasn't built to weather such strong conditions, and despite the storm not starting yet, the conditions were choppy enough for her to have trouble. If she was having this much trouble, Krystal didn't want to think about what it would be like once the storm started.

Seeing the gigantic tree coming closer, Krystal prepared the Arwing for landing, flew low near where the newscaster was taping. Once the Arwing was safely on the ground. Krystal went over to introduce herself.

"Hello, there!" Krystal called out. "I'm here to help find the missing girl and her monkeys. Hopefully they haven't gone to far, what with the coming storm and all. I hope we find them quickly."

Alex had thought with the incoming storm that using his gyro-copter wasn't a very good idea, it really wasn't a heavy duty vehicle especially in the coming weather. Despite the fact it had been upgraded and had some transformation skills from the last racing tournament he was in, he figured that his dirt bike was the best option. Less of a problem over rugged terreign and worked fine in bad weather, so speeding over hill and dale Alex made it to the required spot and noticed a Toad and a purple fox lady standing there. He slid to a stop and took off his helmet and put it on his bike as he hoped off "I hear you need some help with a missing girl, let's see if we can find her" informed Alex as he came to stand near Krystal. He offered her a polite nod "Hey, I'm Alex. Hope we can work together to find this girl" added Alex with a smile and an offered hand to shake.

The Toad reporter turned and saw that Krystal and Alex had arrived, he held his microphone up. "I am here tonight with Krystal the fox and Alex the Kidd, who are here tonight to find the missing girl and monkeys. The objective right now is to climb the top of the enclave where the group is said to be." He looked up towards the tree, as it was very high up, by the time Krystal and Alex would get to the top, the storm would begin.

"However it is a long way up so I wish them the best of luck." He then turned to his camera. "Coming up next, Rosalyn Hollotus, beats up wizard in an alleyway." The Toad Reporter finished his story for now.



And then was quickly blown away back to the life sphere by the harsh winds, leaving Krystal and Alex alone to climb the tree.

There are two ways that they can do this, the first is to climb up normally and the second and the more easier option, is to use a vehicle to get to the top faster.

Either way, the storm was due to arrive soon.

Maribel and the monkeys soon entered the mansion, feeling a bit cold. "Ugh, who controls the weather anyway, I want to give them a peace of my mind when I find them!" Maribel wanted to inflict pain on the god or goddess that controls the weather.

She looked down at the monkeys. "Are you three ok? Do you have hypothermia?" Maribel bend down to check on the monkeys, and snickered. "It was lucky that I found you three fuzzballs while I was at the jungle, at least were alone, I think." Maribel looked around, but noticed nobody was around.

Unaware that a figure was watching her and the monkeys, two in fact, from deep within the mansion.

Shortly after her own arrival, Krystal was greeted by another kid, who rode up on a dirt bike. Krystal took Alex's offered hand and shook it. "My name is Krystal" she replied, looking up at the massive tree in front of them. "I hope you aren't afraid of heights."

Once the reporter left, Krystal thought about how they were to scale the giant tree. "We could take my Arwing, but I don't know if both of us will fit in the cockpit. Not to mention that it isn't built to withstand such heavy winds. It was a challenge just to land it here. We're better off if we walk."

"It's Alex Kidd, no the involved" corrected Alex to the Todd to his audience or whatever it was he was trying to do, he wasn't here to be on the news as he preferred his peace and didn't need to be famous. "Nice to meet you, heights aren't an issue" replied Alex to Krystal who was offering her ship which wasn't that far away but flying in this weather wasn't the best idea.

Alex smiled and then tapped his motorbike twice, not only did the wheels produce spikes but a second helmet popped out. "If you're game, we can ride up the tree. The bike can hold two people plus it has the better chance of surviving this weather then your ship" informed Alex to Krystal's offer of using her ship though he'd not tested the bike in this way before so this would be a first.

As Alex and Krystal continued to discuss what they were going to do the sound of thunder was heard nearby signalling that the storm was going to come sometime soon, and Maribel and the monkeys were in danger of getting harmed by the storm.

It was best that the two make a decision on what vehicle to take soon, either the bike or airwing, they should get to the top of the enclave before the storm starts, because if there still at the bottom of the Enclave, then the tree will be very hard to climb.

Krystal watched as Alex's bike sprouted spike wheels and a second helmet. "Well, it would beat walking all the way up, that's for sure." Krystal admitted. Resigning herself to the offer, she took the offered helmet and put it on, noting the holes in the top for her ears to stick out. She then walked over to the bike and waited for Alex to finished preparing to go. As she waited, she heard the sound of thunder growling outside. They'd better get a move on, otherwise the storm would start before they could get to the top, and that would make things much more difficult, even when they got to the top. "Let's get going." Krystal urged Alex. "The storm is growing closer by the minute. We don't want to be caught on the way up when it hits."

Alex got on the bike and motioned for Krystal to hop on the back "Hold on" expressed Alex as he waited for her to get on the bike. He revved it into action and drove towards the tree, before doing a wheelie and slamming the front wheel into the bark and and revving once more. They were soon on their way up the tree, hopefully they'd get to the top before the storm knocked them off. While it had a better chance then her ship, it still could be taken done with enough force.

It wouldn't take long given Alex's speed for them to get up to the top, once they were close enough Alex gave it an extra revving. To get the speed needed to ascend that last little bit, jumping over and onto the top of the tree. Alex slid to a stop and stopped the bike "Well we're up the top" he said with a smile wondering if they should ride the rest of the way.

As Alex and Krystal continued to drive to the top. Enemy's tried to attack the duo but there attempts to do so resulted in the them getting pushed away from the bike.

A few minutes would pass and Alex and Krystal would make it to the top of the Enclave without any trouble at all.

Except that the storm finally began with it threatening to blow Alex and Krystal away.

They needed to find shelter and fast, it was best for them to wait until the wind dies down before they can explore the Enclave to find Maribel.

There were three shelters that they could chose from. Each of them has a handful of people that they can talk to find information on Maribel and the Monkey's location.

But they can only choose one shelter as it would be too dangerous for them to go to each shelter for information.

Alex and Krystal need to choose which shelter to stay in until the bulk of the storm ends.

Maribel went further into the mansion to find supplies for a room that her and the monkeys were staying in. She grew frustrated with each bedroom she entered that had no blankets or covers. "Ugh, why does this mansion not have any blankets, did the last family that lived here took away the blankets or something?" Maribel continued to check each room around the mansion.

Coming across a very odd room that she didn't find at all suspicious.



Except that there was a piece of wood lying next to her which she took off of a corpse of a Scientist that was holding it.

"Excellent, more fire for us." She bounced out of the room, unaware that there were two people at the other side of the room.

Who were alive, and were watching her.

Krystal held on tight as Alex's motorbike started climbing the side of the tree.  Did this thing come with seatbelts? Cause that would be a worthwhile investment, Alex.

Either way, once they had reached the top of the tree, Krystal had a look around. Or she would have if the storm hadn't begun to set in, almost blinding them with the amount of rain pouring on top of them. This was going to take forever to get out of her fur.

In the distance, outlined by the rain, Krystal could see what looked like a few houses. "Alex!" she called out over the whistling wind. He might have been right next to him, but it was pretty hard to hear anything right now. "We need to wait out the storm somewhere safe and dry. I can see some shelter over that way." She gestured over to the shapes in the rain. "If you can still see, can you drive us to one of those places? I'm fine with whichever one you pick."

(Alex! Krystal is passing the choice of the shelter to you. She'll follow right behind you to whichever one you choose.)

It seemed like the storm was coming before they could find shelter, at least they'd gotten to the top of the place before it set in. Alex could just barely hear Krystal over the storm and his own bike, she suggested they go find shelter and he agreed. He didn't know where she was pointing in regards to shelter but he'd noticed at least one of the two houses, and started heading there on the the bike.

It wouldn't take long and he'd wished he had a visor on his helmet because he wasn't getting horizontal rain all up in his face and eyes, luckily they'd made it to the house and Alex skidded to a stop. Stopping the bike and getting off, he opened the door and waited for Krystal went through before going in himself. Thankfully the house they chosen seemed to be in a good enough condition for them to get some actual shelter, which was helpful for them but not the kid and the apes.

The house that Alex and Krystal had entered, seemed to be in as good condition as the outside of the house. Yet with the fact that the lights in the house were on and the fact that it didn't look abandoned as most places on Li. It was a sign that the duo were not alone in this house and that they stumbled upon a home that someone was living in.

Sure enough a figure did appear, a young woman, who looked happy with seeing Alex and Krystal.

She was wearing an apron and had a noticeable bloody knife.

"Oh my heavens, did you two come in from the storm, I didn't notice." The woman seemed friendly enough despite the knife she was holding.

She walked into the kitchen, beckoning the two to follow.

"Well now, guests are always welcome in my home. Please, feel free to come into my kitchen of wonders until the storm ends. Please hurry though, as i'm awfully busy on this stormy night." The woman called from the kitchen, not caring that two strangers have came into her home.

Alex and Krystal could follow the woman into the kitchen or ignore her and look around in the house.

But should they enter the kitchen, the woman's seen cutting up some meat.

She turned towards whoever had entered the kitchen. "So, what brings you to my home on this stormy night?" She asked.

As soon as Alex's bike came to a stop, Krystal rushed off and ran inside the shelter they had parked nearest, eager to get inside and out of the rain. When you had the fur she did, you tended to hold water a little easier. Once she was inside, she curled her tail around her and started wringing it out. Darn thing was like a sponge.

She soon stopped when a young woman came into the front hall. And she was holding a bloody knife. "Eeep!" Krystal let out a small squeak as the woman with the knife drew closer.

Her fears turned out to be unfounded, as the woman greeted them politely, asking them where they had come from. "I'm incredibly sorry for spilling water on your floor, Miss....?" Krystal paused, leaving a space for the woman to introduce herself. "My name is Krystal, and my companion's name is Alex. Could we trouble you to give us shelter until the storm passes?" Krystal asked, not quite listening to the fact that the woman had just let them stay as she was talking. Regardless, she followed the woman into the kitchen.

"We were on our way up the tree to search for some missing persons when the storm caught us unawares" Krystal explained once they had entered the kitchen. "You wouldn't happen to know there whereabouts?"

Krystal had gone in first, which made sense given her furry appearance. That she wouldn't be found of water all that much, he wasn't sure what kind of animal she was though it seemed canine or fox like despite the colour. Either way it didn't matter as they entered the building, Alex took off his helmet and put it somewhere near the door.

He then gave his jacket a slight tug to flick any water off of it, then as he was doing that some lady came towards them with a bloody knife in her hand. Great, we've just walked into a horror movie Alex thought to himself but as she and Krystal conversed and they followed her. Those thoughts became unfounded as the lady was simply cutting up meat, which made much more sense.

Krystal had introduced them and Alex gave a slight wave to it in response, then his partner in the mission had asked if she knew anything about the missing people. "Any help you could provide would be great help" he added to make sure it sounded more polite then accusatory.
