Porky’s Factory made it to the polls, so that’s exciting! Let’s see if we can generate enough interest into this next little-known Nintendo RPG. I’m sure few of you have heard of it, but let’s give it a go, shall we?
That’s right, Pokemon Cove is the next location on the docket. So, pull out your spin off games or think of some of the most memorable area you explored with your adorably deadly friends. From Kanto to the obscure regions of… wherever the Pokemon Ranger games take place (Almia?). Fret not uninitiated trainers any beast taming RPG is up for consideration. So, if you want to be the cool kid who doesn’t suggest a Pokemon Sub-Location for the Pokemon area, you have a plethora of knockoffs to choose from. Digimon? Yokai Watch? Fossil League? Amazing Island? Keitai Denju Telefang? The sky’s the limit!
That said, if you want to contend, you best invest on that location because only three will be accepted, decided by our weekly polls. The three lucky winners get 100 coins!
Side note: I know people have made suggestions for this in the past, so I collected all the ones that I could find that easily fit into the current template. The creators of the Sub-Locations can re-submit if they aren’t happy with the state of their submission currently.
Side note for side note: There were less than I remembered there being.
Priority #1 - Distinctness from the parent location: So for example, a sub-location in Mushroom Ruins should not simply be another part of Mushroom Ruins. Toad Town for example would be a sub-location we'd have to deny for not being distinct from its parent location, as that is already the primary setting.
Priority #2 - Roleplay Opportunities: Locations suggested should provide a wide variety of potential missions that could be hosted there. If a location seems more like an individual mission gimmick that caters itself to one specific type of mission, it's probably better off staying that way rather than becoming a sub-location. The same goes for locations that characters can't logically normally access.
Priority #3 - Iconicness: Locations should be representative to the series, as opposed to being stuff that has been randomly made up because it sounds fun. Making your own stuff up is great, don't get me wrong, but because of the issue of clutter we probably won't be accepting custom sub-boards at this time.
A good template to fill out when suggesting sub-locations would be:

A good template to fill out when suggesting sub-locations would be:
Name of Sub-Location:
Parent Location:
Description: Describe the location as it should appear on Li, or as it appears in-game
Role in Parent Series: Tell us about the location's significance in it's game(s) of origin
Suggestions as of now:
Distortion World as suggested by TheSpatialWeeg
Description: In the far reaches of the Pokémon Cove lies a warp hole that leads to a different dimension. A place where time doesn't flow, space makes no sense and gravity's all over the place. Signs of life vary extremely, however one thing is certain. This dimension inhabits a terrifying monster that is known to control antimatter. Engaging it may be proven to be extremely foolish.
Po Town
Description: Off the entrance to the cave lies a once-bustling town ransacked and taken over by Team Skull. Now long-vacated by its occupants by a trial goer's actions, the Pokemon have now made the abandoned town its second home. A perpetual rainfall storms over the streets, chances of sunlight never to be seen.
Abyssal Castle
Description: A sandstone structure, heavily worn by time, sits on the outer lip of Pokemon Cove exposed to the ocean. Because of its relative exposure to the starvia, only very strong and very fight-prone pokemon can be found in the area. Below the worn down entrance lays a maze-like labyrinth buried below the sand, partially collapsed in some areas and partially flooded in others. Apparently this spawling ancient castle was once created by the twin heroes of truth and ideals before their differences tore them apart. This underground labyrinth extends out into the ocean, where flooding is a lot more common. It is said that some mythical, legendary pokemon call the place their home, though exploring it has proven difficult. When the tide comes in, people tend to get washed away with the rising waters.
Mt Coronet
Description: Deep in the cove lies a large mountain accessible through a small network of cave. Towering over the cove, this mountain's presence is massive. Inside the mountain are a maze of caves, some of which are electromagnetically charged enough that static bolts will fly off the walls, attracting large numbers of Electric Pokemon inside. Farther up the mountain things start getting colder, and Ice type Pokemon start becoming more commonplace. Near the peak is an old ruin, one that's radiating strange, ancient power. Tread lightly, for there might be some forces that would take intruding on these ruins lightly.
