Hey all, I'm here to alert you to our snazzy new Mission Rank Rewards! You know, that thing nobody really kept track of cause it didn't really mean much. But hey! Now it's all dusted off and updated with the times! You can go here to see it.


Now EVERY rank rewards characters with something, whether it be IC or OOC privileges. Most are pretty straight forward, but if you have any questions you know where to find us:

- ⁺5% HP = Increase the character's base HP % by 5

- ⁺2 Stat Pts = You can distribute 2 more points to your character's profile stats. In the case of Pkmn/Minions, that means for each Pkmn/Minion. Trainers/Masters do not get a Stat Increase. For Duo characters, that is +1 for each or a +2 for one of them; your choice. Transformations/Alternates also get a +2 if the character has them. Companions cannot benefit from this increase.

- Allowed # of Simultaneous Missions = Just as it says! That character can be in more active missions at the same time.

- New Companion = If you choose this option then you can add 1 new companion to the character's profile. You can use an existing companion from the site or make up your own! They must follow the Companion Rules (tbw - placeholder).

- +1 Turn to FS = If you choose this option, and if that character has a Final Smash that is already active over some # of turns, then you can extend the duration of their FS by 1 turn; permanently. Note that you cannot choose this option if the FS is just an instant attack; it must be a FS that already has a turn duration.

- FS Crit Range 19 - 20 = If you choose this option then the character's Final Smash will crit on both Natural 19's & 20's.

- Badge = Just a fancy smanchy profile badge to show off you having a character that reached this rank. Don't hurry though, we haven't made it yet. *shifty eyes*

- ⁺2 Stat Pts for a Companion = As it says, if you choose this option & already have a Companion you can add 2 stat pts to it's profile.

- 2nd FS = If you choose this option, and the character doesn't already have a 2nd Final Smash, then you can give them one! Still abides by all the normal rules of a FS and you can only use 1 per mission. Not 1 of each: 1 total.

- Unique Item = Upon reaching this glorious rank your character will be awarded a completely unique item special to them (or their series) that doesn't necessarily already exist in the world of Li!

- Can Create Missions in Essence Extraction = Pretty self-explanatory

- Leader of the Life Sphere = The character has now become near equals with the Heroes of the Life Sphere and is highly revered. They have the opportunity to become a Leader of the Life Sphere with access to the government aspects. From this seat they will be able to make high value plots and decisions on what the citizens of LI should do moving forward. As well, they will be given a grand Title/Nickname to honor them. (Think like Paper Mario -- The Great Gonzales). See our government write up for more info (might be revamped soon).

Regarding Stat Point Differences from Old System to New
Our old System used to award +1 Stat Pt per rank. This system works out to almost the same thing (just +8 at the end instead of +7) so no adjusting should really be necessary. HOWEVER! If one of your characters is currently in-between ranks where they would be awarded +2 Stat Points under the new system you can keep the current stats you've distributed, BUT once they reach the next rank they would only get +1 to stay on-par with the rewards everyone else gets.

For Ex:

Old system 'Hero' would have +1 Stat Pt distributed. So, upon ranking up to Smash Bro in this new system they would get +1 instead of +2, since that would overall put them at +2 from the base point distribution.

or

Old system 'Leader' would have +3 points distributed. So, upon ranking up to Commanding Bro in this new system they would only add +1 instead of +2. Since that would overall put them at +4 from the base pt distribution ((Two +2's))
