The Monster braced for attack with Corrin's sword...And fang, along with Theodora firing the same spell yet again, followed by Scehzo's slashes and pin spell. "Let's hope he actually stays down due to the way your spell works...It seem's to have something to do with stopping the Tail Whack In It's tracks." Theodora said to Schezo as he fired the blast, followed by Theodora and Corrin's attack.

Upon dodging Theodora's fireworks attack, the monster blew a raspberry at the group...Before getting hit by Schezo's bindfold and before he could do anything else...Corrin managed to cut off his tail, causing the thing to scream In a high pitched tone...And blew up Into dark air, Theodora walked towards the two to explain what happened. "Dont worry, the Tail Whack's tail Is It's weakspot, without there tails, It's life was useless and so they died." Theodora said as she looked at the two. "So, judging by the fact that my school Is hanging from a very unstable mountain, you two came somewhere to either rob It, take over It or help everyone Inside It? Well...Your wasting your time." Theodora said as she also introduced herself.

"By the way, I'm Theodora Personne, a sorcerer...And a student to that now mentioned school your trying to get to." Theodora said to the two as she spoke again once more. "One of the teacher's must of made this dangerous path to stop you from reaching the school, everyone up there Is very selfish and just looking out for themselves, In fact...I kind of broke a rule while coming here." Theodora said to the two...As a voice was heard nearby.

"Yes Theodora...You have." The Feminine voice said as Theodora gasped and turned towards a figure at the entrance of the cave outside the fog covered area, the figure walked towards the trio to reveal herself to be a woman In a one black dress. "You broke a rule Theodora, and you know what happens when a rule Is broken." The Teacher said as she took out her wand as Theodora tried to reason with her.

"Miss Heather come on, these two would of been In much more trouble If nobody helped them, besides we need to find out where the heck we are anyway, there's odd monsters roaming about these mountains!" Theodora said to Heather...Who did not seem to give a crap.

"I DON'T GIVE A CRAP!"

She quickly cast a dark coloured blast, which hit the trio...Causing them to be knocked out.

When Corrin and Schezo awoke, they would be In front of a large door In a long wooden hallway, with talking heard from the otherside, Theodora and Heather are nowhere to be seen, In fact the only person who Is around Is a young woman reading a very old book by the hallway...Who seemed to not notice the presence of Schezo and Corrin.

"Boy...What a reasonable job Headmistress gave me..."

With the enemy unable to move, Corrin comes in to sever the tail from its body, resulting in its swift demise. With nothing to hold down, the dark tether pulls away into the void, disappearing from sight. Seems its life force is linked to its tail. Schezo turned to Theodora, apparently one of the students of the school in question.

"I see. Understandable implications from what it's called. And no, I do not stoop so low as to loot on an evacuation mission."

Schezo felt the need to emphasize that he is not a black-hearted, wicked mage at his core. Sure he's a Dark Wizard, can be scathing at times, but can mean well when he needs to. Though he does question her motives for discouraging the objective. He crossed his arms, responding to her objections.

"Hm? Why so? Surely they have reasons for the selfishness you say. And what such enforcement does this magic school have that restricts movement outside the ground that is nearing collapse?"

The moment the presumed headmistress approached her and the duo, Schezo felt the need to call her out for the crude language and lack of responsibility as a teacher-figure. Schezo got chewed out by his teacher for a past incident, yes, but at least it was justified. What Schezo saw was far from it.

"Hey. I presume you're the headmistress, correct? What figure addresses their pupils with crude language? And why do you insist on keeping your stud- GAH!"

But Schezo could not finish his sentence, being blacked out by magic and falling unconscious.

It didn't take him very long to come to, considering that he can easily shrug off dark magic. Though, that hostility seemed to have ground his gears a little. He was once a student in a magic school, after all.

Confound it, is she mad? How could she be so foolish to try and to do away with me from this with dark magic? I'm sure I'll be seeing her again soon, and I'll show her the true splendor of the Dark Wizard. ...where am I, however? This isn't the mountain path. Furthermore, where's Corrin?

He looked around the area, which didn't have much to look at, save for the door and the fact they're in some sort of building. As soon as he spotted Corrin, he went over to his side, trying to awaken him before proceeding.

"Corrin. Can you hear me?"

Corrin’s theory was proven correct as he successfully slashed the main method of offense of the Tail Whack, many thanks to Schezo's Dark Bind. It also culminated into the death of the creature, so not only was the tail it’s attack method, but also it’s life source or something similar.


He turned to Theodora, who quickly claimed that saving the school would be a waste of time and that eveyone inside was selfish. He found himself agreeing with Schezo’s words, mostly due to certain amounts of experience. The young king had some...warriors that joined in for or with rather strange methods. Yet there was always a reason why, and most of the time a very tragic one.


His thoughts drifted off a bit, at least until the headmistress appeared. Corrin was shocked by the fact that the woman had more intent of punishing Theodora by breaking a rule instead of ensuring safety to most students.

“Are you perchance insane?! Your school is bound to fall off the damned mountain, yet what seems to worry you the most is the girl breaking a rule? Wh--” 

Before he could finish, he was blasted with magic, causing him to lose consciousness.

Corrin stayed unconscious for quite a while, at least until he heard what seemed to be Schezo calling him back to the real world. Emitting a light groan, the half-dragon slowly lift himself up, clutching his head for a couple of seconds.


“Y-yeah...I hear you loud and clear, Schezo.” Corrin said before taking a deep breath.


Taking a small look around, he realized that his Omega Yato and his dragonstone were still with him instead of being taken away. This was indeed a better situation than having lost all access to his means of attack...then again, the Yatogami chose him to be it’s wielder, so it would probably fly back to him while it could not be used by anyone else. A win-win situation, if one could surmise.


He then noticed a young woman nearby, who was busy reading a book. Corrin didn't know whether she was friend or foe, but he readied his Omega Yato in any case.

The woman looked at Corrin and Schezo and sighed, she turned a page In her book before looking back. "Finally, you two are awake...The Trial's through that door...Its supposed to be the gym room but It's being converted to Theodora's trial for breaking the rule." The Woman said as she explained some more. "Yep...The most important rule Is to never leave the school grounds due to how dangerous the realm like this one were In." The Woman said as she continued to read.

Meanwhile, Inside the gym.

People were sitting In floating seats In both sides of the room...Because It's a magical school and everything has to be magical, Theodora was standing right In the centre as Heather, the woman who previously knocked out the trio with the unknown spell, was being a judge In the trial. "Theodora Personne Is standing trial for disobeying a rule by leaving the school grounds and going Into my illusion trap to save two people who fell Into It...Theodora, how do you plead?" Heather said as Theodora sighed.

"Really, this Is stupid...Why did you convert the gym for a trial that will only hap---SILENCE!" Heather said as Theodora looked back, shocked at Heather as she banged her gavel. Soon after, a witness, a young girl appeared holding a rather small green dragon statue, Theodora glared at the girl who looked back at Theodora, before Heather called down to her.

"Miss Kimmy Parkinson, you saw everything, to Theodora leaving the school to help those two outsiders to me heading towards them...Am I right?" Heather said as Kimmy nodded before speaking. "Yes your Honour teacher Miss, I knew Theodora was bad new's the moment she came here, her breaking the rules was going to happen either way, she deserves whatever happens to her If she get's the guilty verdict." Kimmy said as Theodora tried to do something on the matter.

"Objection your honour, Kimmy hates me, she wasn't even th---SHUT UP!" Heather interrupted as she banged the gavel now before speaking. "Well...If there's nothing el---OW!" Before Heather could finish, a basketball hit her face, causing It to land In front of Heather, who picked It up and looked at the group of kids who were playing basketball In the otherside of the room. "Give us a slam dunk teach?" One of the students said as Heather got up from the desk and aimed the ball towards the students, with It going on fire.

"Next time...I'M KEEPING IT!"

She threw the ball towards the students, who ran off screaming as the ball crashed through the floor and Into the unknown. Heather turned towards Theodora, who did not seem to care about the trial anymore and aimed her gavel towards her.

"Headmistress just talked to me through a mind spell...Without proof from those two who you rescued about what they saw...YOU MISS PERSONNE IS...

Theodora gasped at the guilty verdict...It seem's like now Is the time for Schezo and Corrin to interrupt the trial and help Theodora out with there point of view.

"Wait, what about the two people I saved...What happened to them, they should be here."

Schezo wasted no time and went up to the door to listen in. Luckily, it seems they didn't soundproof it with magic, and he is capable of hearing past the doors. It's a little muffled, but he could make out a general idea. So far...he could only utter something so flatly, it's beyond description. He could only grit his teeth as the proceedings passed by.

"...what."

In short, it's flat out nothing but kangaroos jumping around the improvised courtroom. A Kangaroo Court, in other words. From the judge doing everything to silence the defendant, to one-sided witnesses, he used his magic to outright blast the door open, and shout from the top of his lungs. He is not going to let some bogus court waste his time in evacuating the school from just one infringement, when the entire school is in danger of getting killed from within.

"OBJECTION!!!"

"If you refuse to let her speak up, then I shall! It is true that she left school grounds against an absolute policy, but she had her reasoning, for I was one of two that she attempted to rescue from a trap to lead us astray from our mission! How could you be so adamant to try and repel us, when it is we that were assigned to lead students out of a tower that is doomed to collapse from underneath an unstable foundation!?"

...it seems like he's getting even more vocal and louder as he lays down his argument...

"I lay the blame on the wench condemning Theodora, for she was the one that tried to silence us! If you lack trust in me, then the ground that which shall shift will!"

Schezo pointed at Heather, the one who knocked him out in the first place, laying his accusation down with his words. He might be getting hasty and impulsive, but perhaps his stubbornness will speed things up.

"Trial...?" Corrin mused before eavesdropping alongside Schezo. However, while Schezo's overall reaction was...well, flat (at that moment, at least), the dragon boy's expression turned into a scowl. The trial was hopelessly one-sided against Theodora, and she could do nothing about it. Now he knew why Theodora thought it was a waste of time to come here.

As Schezo blasted the door and delivered his speech, Corrin slowly made his way next to the partner. As soon as the Dark Wizard was finished...he stabbed Omega Yato into the ground, creating a loud sound, the building itself and it's situation be damned. He was going to let out his piece of mind, and he was going to make damn sure they heard it.

"Heed my words, you overtly foolish humans." His voice boomed, taking out a very calm, yet venomous tone. "You should be ashamed of hosting such foolish trial while your lives are at impending doom. Schezo and I were tasked to evacuate everyone from this building, which is going to collapse due to instability. Even then, you are holding a trail so that whether this girl deserves to be punished. I cannot tell if you are mentally ill or if you are just stupid."

"Now, the trail itself presented me with such unfair conditions, I cannot fathom how is that supposed to be 'fair'. Theodora may have broken a rule, however you do not question her why she did so. Also, you do not actually examine the 'evidence', and you do not allow the defender to counter-claim. A example of the lack of examination is the false witness, Kimmy Parkinson, if I believe that's her name. She claims to have seen Theodora, but I'll say this right now: Not so much as a silver of her presence was noticed when Schezo and I were attacked by a Tail Whack, the moment where Theodora helped us slay the creature. If perchance Kimmy Parkinson wants to counteract my statement, I'd suggest for you to face me in open combat, for your words will be rendered null and void by my own mind."

Silence for a few seconds from him. Then he pointed his sword at Heather.

"I am Corrin, King of the Invisible Kingdom, Valla! I demand...no, I command you to absolve Theodora, because she is certainly not deserving of such absurd trail run by plain idiocy! If you are opposed to the idea, face me in fair combat, or else you shall be deemed a foolish coward!"

Heather slowly began to raise her gavel as she decided what she was going to do to Theodora. "When I raise this gavel...Your punishment will be decided...Just at the right time for anyone to object." Heather said as she held her gavel high and just as she was about to bang It...Schezo and Corrin entered and defended Theodora with there point of views, however there loud entrances frighten and even annoyed the audience of the room. "Ow." One student said. "Be careful with that sword!" Another student said. "Idiots!" Another student said.

And so they began defending Theodora, who looked impressed at the two, Corrin said that Kimmy was not around the area where the trio were attacked by the tree whack and proceeded to blame Heather for all of the mess...Which shocked everyone In the room. "Well, I never!" The supposed posh teacher said as Kimmy yelled at the trio. "This Is slander, I was totally there!" Kimmy said angry at the three...However Theodora quickly replied. "Actually, adding on to what they said...Kimmy, If you were supposedly there, wouldn't you have broken the rule to of leaving the school grounds as well?" Theodora said as everyone In the room quickly yelled "No!" causing Theodora to turn.

They also laughed at Corrin and Schezo when they said that the mountain they were on will break very soon, causing the school to fall off the mountain. "Foolish King, of this supposed invisible kingdom...And Wizard, we are very much protected thanks to grand wizards who have given up there remaining life to make a shield to all those monsters down below and we do not want your pity help from whichever realm, village or kingdom you came from...In fact you two should of been gone by now, along with you Theodora...When are you going to learn the last spell and get the heck off the school property?" Heather said looking down to the confused Theodora.

"You were about to punish me a few seconds ago, now you want me to continue my work here...I cant wait until I leave this selfish school, this place Is even worse then my manor with my psychotic brother!" Theodora said angry as Heather quickly looked up...Before looking back down.

"Headmistress has decided once more...Your not guilty, however those two have to leave this school by the end of the day...Or else you'll get your original punishment again Theodora...Case Is dismissed!" Heather said as she banged her gavel as the students quickly got up from there chairs and left the gym, giving glares to Corrin and Schezo as they left...Kimmy was angry over what happened and held the dragon statue very close to her stomach.

"This Is stupid, Theodora should of stayed guilty...Whatever, I'm going to clean this suspicious green dragon statue I found by the Forbidden Chambers...I found It so It's mine." Kimmy said as she ran out of the room, followed by Heather. Theodora quickly turned towards Corrin and Schezo again and ran towards them, happy that they defended her In court. "Thank you for defending me...This trial shouldn't of happened anyway." Theodora said as she noticed the wounds Schezo and Corrin had...Probably from the journey to this school.

"Oh, I'll take you to your room to heal, I have some stuff I have that can help you with your wounds...Then I guess you have to go due to my stupid teacher wanting you leave and not caring that this school will fall..."

Just hearing the contradicting logic made Schezo even more furious that they're actively trying to pin the blame on Theodora. He would argue further, but then comes to the conclusion that trying to would ultimately be a waste of breath, and merely snarls through his gritted teeth. Once the proceedings are done, Schezo felt the need to vent out his frustration. He's done. So done. His patience has been destroyed long before they made any progress, and everything he is saying is overcome with fury as a result. He does attempt to keep a lid on it, but it isn't proving to be effective.

"...Forget it. My patience with this school is done before progress came to fruition. Let them perish for all I care. Let some fearsome beast break through this so-called barrier and let it collapse so they'll know they were in the wrong. They've refused to trust us and that shall be their punishment! My disbelief in accursed school has been shattered, and any empathy is lost on them!"

Knowing his atrocious luck, everything he just said is probably and likely a contrived foreshadowing of events to come. He isn't very lucky in his home world, his bad luck may have carried over. For now, all he wants is to just go back and report it as a failure because of lack of cooperation with the people in danger. He didn't care about the stain on his record, he just wants retribution. With all that said and done, someone should at least set him straight. Sure he's furious, but wishing death on someone is likely going to cross lines with an ally. Perhaps a swift slap to the face shall suffice?

Somewhat like Schezo, Corrin found himself failing to understand the flawed logic that was presented to him by the...peculiar school. Unlike his ally, he seemed to be perfectly controlled over the happening. One could surmise that he had previous experience with this, but to be fair, this could be Corrin just being who he normally is. Once the trial was over, Corrin let out a sigh of disappointment. He was happy Theodora out of trouble, but they refused to even cooperate with an evacuation, seeing as they seemed to be over-reliant on their special shield.

"All right, then. Schezo and I shall take our leave. I just want to say this, though...do not go back to us, pleading for us to save you in case anything happens to your super-shield. I have no intent on helping you, seeing what just happened." Corrin turned to the door, Omega Yato near his shoulder. "Goodbye." He then walked back to the place he found himself awakening.

He heard Schezo ramble on about the happening and how he was dead-set on leaving them to die.

Corrin sighed. "Schezo, you shouldn't worry about the dead, due to how they are...well, unable to listen or be endangered."

He turned to Theodora. "I appreciate the help you are offering, but I don't believe Heather would appreciate us staying any longer. We can heal ourselves in the Life Sphere." He went on to say quietly.

Theodora looked sad that the two were...About to leave now, warning the residents of the school that they cant go to the Life Sphere should something go wrong with the building and shield...But everyone had already left, except for the three of them. Theodora rubbed the back of her head when the two declined Theodora's offer of healing them. "Oh...Ok, well the exit to this school Is just by that red door over there." Theodora said pointing to the red door In the hall...Which wasn't there before...However upon opening It, Theodora suddenly walked out of It...She disappeared In the previous spot she was standing on.

"Please don't leave me here, I'm basically going to be kept here to die when you leave, this school will collapse due to the mountain were currently on In about an hour or two...But I want to leave before then by learning one more spell and this Life Sphere seems like a good place to head to once I do that, I know Heather said you needed to leave, but she said you had to leave at the END of the day...I just...I just don't want to be alone again." Theodora said, trying to convince Schezo and Corrin to stay so she can leave at the same time as them.

Meanwhile In a room just above the trio, Kimmy Parkinson was currently cleaning the dragon statue she was holding bitterly, judging by her mood she was still angry over the verdict of Theodora's trial. "Stupid Theodora, get's to walk off scot free...WHEN THE HELL IS SHE LEAVING!?" She said as someone knocked on the door to her bedroom...When she open It was another young girl. "What do you want Lucy?" Kimmy said...Not realising that the dragon statue she just placed by her desk...Began to glow a shade of emerald.

"I heard you screaming and just w---I'm Fine!" Kimmy interrupted as she slammed the door In front of Lucy. "Ok!" Lucy said from the otherside as Kimmy turned back...To notice the dragon statue gone. "What the heck...Did I drop It, where did I put It?" Kimmy said looking around, she turned as a dark, green figure loomed over her and as she turned.

She screamed to the top of her lungs, the scream reaching to the trio.

"That sounded like Kimmy."

Deep breath in, deep breath out... Schezo took the time to calm himself before conversing rationally again.

"......Valid point. They'll be unable to pin the blame on us, should the harsh truth strike them soon enough."

Schezo turned to Theodora, now with a worried expression, considering her circumstances. She seems to be the social outcast of this school, and considering Schezo lacks any meaningful social connections, he...somehow empathizes with her.

"...This spell you mentioned. What is it? I may not be a teacher, but as a former student of another magic school, perchance I could-"

Schezo's train of thought went to a screeching halt. A literal screeching halt. A scream of terror echoed within the building, and Schezo can't not take notice.

"Oh confound it. Don't tell me my incessant ranting turned out to be true!"

Corrin pondered for a while. It seemed like Theodora was treated rather poorly here from a very young age...not surprising, considering the trail he just witnessed. He took a deep breath kneeled down to the girl's level.

"Listen, Theodora. I would rather not stay here any longer, however you've convinced me to help you to at least get that spell you have been searching for, at the very least, until the end of this day. ...Maybe I could help you escape as well?" He questioned. Really, offering help to somebody who needed was basically second nature for the dragon-kid. Before anything else could've been done, however...

A scream was heard from somewhere. Granted, it sounded like a banshee losing it's voice, but Corrin seemed to recognize the voice as the same of the false witness. Hearing Schezo curse his ranting, he was quickly reminded that fights usually found their way to him. Devil's luck? Yeah, right, Leo.

"On second thought, maybe I do need to be healed this instant." Corrin went on to say.

Theodora smiled at the two. "Thank you...It's just a random spell I need to learn, the problem Is...One of the spells I can learn Is very hard to remember, and I can already do tons of spells already." Theodora said to Schezo as Corrin keeled down to her. "Uhh, you don't have to kneel down...I'm not some kid, I'm actually 5.448 years old...I just took on an appearance of one since It suits me, most sorcerers In the realms I came from can do that." Theodora said as she closed the red door behind her which disappeared soon after before quickly running off further down the hall.

"I'll get you both healed once we find out what happened to Kimmy, let's go." Theodora said as she ran down the halls before coming across some stairs which she climbed up on until she was on the second floor, after a few minutes of walking down another hall, they would come across an open door.

"This Is Kimmy's ro---HI THEODORA!" Lucy interrupted as she suddenly appeared In front of the three, making Theodora angry. "Not now Lucy...I don't have a pet with me so you can hug It to death, were here to see Kimmy, she screamed a few minutes ago." Theodora said as Lucy pushed past Theodora and Schezo. "I don't want to talk to you or that warrior guy." Lucy said referring to Schezo as she looked at Corrin.

"This guy...Something's off about him...Almost like he has something related to a creature." Lucy said looking around Corrin as Theodora tapped her feet In patient, she looked at Corrin. "Lucy has a sense meter for animals...If she finds one she's going to treat It like some squeeze toy." Theodora said to the two...As Lucy suddenly yelled happily. "Oh my god...Now I know, he has dragon powers!" Lucy said outloud as Theodora interrupted her. "Uhh Lucy...What happened to Kimmy?" Theodora said as Lucy sighed. "Well...If you really want to know, Kimmy got attacked and her skin turned all green, now can that bo---Hey look a mouse!" Theodora said suddenly throwing a small grey ball at the otherside of the hall, once It reached the otherside the ball turned Into the mouse, distracting Lucy.

"MOUSE!" Lucy screamed as the mouse ran off as Lucy gave chase for It, Theodora looked back at Corrin and Schezo as a counter for similar looking balls stood beside her. "That animal illusion ball will distract her for awhile thanks to a counter for some nearby...Let's go see what's up with Kimmy." Theodora said as she entered Kimmy's room...And found her on her bed, the rest of her room looked like a hotel resort, and there were a few opened drawers for the trio to look In, her skin has turned green and she was not moving or speaking, but her eyes were opened, the dragon statue she had earlier was now gone...In fact there was a hole through her window now...A large hole.

Theodora went to inspect It.

"...This was not human...No one at this school can make a hole like this either."

"Eh- Eeeh!? Y-your age surpasses that of mine?!"

In hindsight, that sounded more like a typical response, considering Schezo looks no older than the age of 20. But in reality, Schezo lived for at least 100 years. 180, to be precise. He doesn't remember his exact age, but for sure, he's lived long past a human lifespan. While he wasn't the oldest of the people he's familiar with, but he's the oldest human in that circle. The oldest one gets a pass for being a devil. One he's not too fond of.

"O-Okay, that may have sounded more mundane than intended, but as a Dark Wizard, I've lived for at least 100 years, maybe an era of magic. 100 years does seem young in the spectrum of dark magic, but I long believed I was the oldest of the circle of mages I've been acquainted with, save for a certain asinine devil."

Once they hurried to the second floor, Schezo was stopped by a random student, just inspecting Corrin...and frankly, wasting their time. Though, at least Lucy's observations did inform the Dark Wizard too. He didn't seem surprised that he was teamed up with someone with dragon blood; he knows another with an obsession for being beautiful.

A dragon, huh? Very different than what I'm used to seeing. Save for the ears, he's more humanoid in appearance than Draco. Her draconic features make it more blatant.

After Theodora set up a distraction, he followed her into the room...noticing the big hole first and foremost. He turned to Kimmy, lying comatose, then back to the hole.

"Certainly something...or someone, could have broken this wall down. She may have been afflicted by something that allowed such brute force."

"I guess you two have a pretty long lifespan." Corrin offhandedly commented. The girl had over 5,000 years and his ally was over 100, despite both looking very young. He found himself questioning his own lifespan. Dragons of his world tend to live millennia, however Corrin was a half-breed. Would that shorten his lifespan? Hm, mysteries of the world.

Following Theodora to Kimmy's supposed room, he found himself face-to-face with a girl named Lucy, who apparently took an heavy interest on him...or rather his dragon powers.
