Hey all! I will be advertise blasting again today and ask that any and all keep advertising as well. Hopefully I can get some more activity goin with more advertising. And also, I am debating to do a radio show for the forum, any thoughts there?

A radio show sounds like an interesting idea. Though, given that you already do a lot around the site and need to sustain a regular life style as well(assuming you have a job) it seems like a larger workload to put on yourself. I like the idea, but I'm not sure if it would be entirely worth the effort depending on what purpose it would serve. I mean, what would be done on this show? Would other members be allowed to take part in it, if so how would you get the audio from them? As well, where would the radio show be hosted and in what format?

I think its a fun idea no doubt, but I just want to know a little bit more about it before giving you a definite answer.

Yes I do have a busy job and I do live theater alot as well, and it sucks sometimes with how busy I get but I've hosted an internet radio show before and it was very successful. It will be heavily member based, trying to get members on as much as possible. It will be a weekly show. The purpose would be to bring the community closer together, getting to know eachother and the like. We would talk about member's characters and the kind of goal they want for them and where they want the characters to be going on Li and how to accomplish such things. We'd also discuss plot ideas and some spoilers only exclusive to the radio show.

We would use Skype most likely, and record our Skype session and then we would archive it in MP3 format like a pod cast and post it for others to listen to. If that doesn't go well, we can use a site called BlogTalk Radio which allows people to call in and listen in real time. I just wanna see who'd be interested first.

Sounds good, but then timezones would factor in greatly.

Well, that's why I am hoping to hear from others to get time zone opinions and what day works best.

Well, I've done radio work before. Both online and a little offline (Nothing spectacular mind you), so I'd be willing to help in this idea of yours. Also to add to the advertising side of things, have you guys thought of allying yourself with some other boards. In a way to bring people over, I know a few places that run some high numbers that you could use.

But back to the radio thing, it's an interesting idea. And since I sometimes stay on the net all night, I could do somethings to help out. Though I'm mostly on the net that long, about two or three times a week at most. Otherwise I'm only on for a few hours at a time between classes, or if class is something I've already learned I might sneak in during it.

In till exams start I won't be exceptionally busy, depending of course on life and it's complexities that is.

Just wondering, would anybody still be up for this idea? If so, we could probably start this up. I would just need to know when most people would be available. Please provide what time would be best for you, what day, timezone and skype information.

Well when I first replied, I had more of an Internet connection. At the moment I'm limited to my iPad and library computer, unless I go back to uni I'd only be on during week days and some weekends. Time zones is east coast Australia but I'd rather only give my Skype details over PM.

That seems reasonable, once I get a general consensus about this I'll try to set up a date and time for when we'll record. We might be able to do it next week or the week after.
