the second one on the other hand was not so easy as it landed a blow that the audience was cringing from the sight of DW40 dribbling ont of zero's mouth, he literally had the wind knocked out of him to the point that he was panting from that haymaker. "Pretty good... You must've... Learned Ansatsuken Style Martial Arts... But I'm not... Down yet. heheh... In fact I've saved my greatest combo for last..." Zero said as he got back up onto his feet, one could see cracks on the command crystal embedded in Zero's metal helmet, a possible result of the super fist perhaps? Zero shifted back into his Absolute Zero Form and got in close to initiate the combo.

"First I send you flying skyward..." Zero said, attempting yet another Shouryuuken, hoping to launch Kelsey into the air...

"Then I bring you crashing down like lightning with... SUPREME LIGHT COMMAND: REKKOHA!" he added, clenching the fist he used for the uppercut tightly and slamming it into the ground, causing beams of light to shoot into the arena from the heavens, this attack alone was enough to scare anyone who did not want to be captured by the legendary Maverick Hunter, to the point that they do any criminal activities to sur the blood feud between their respective adversaries, that said, the only reason Zero did the ultimate on this turn was probably because it might be the last turn

Kelsey flexed her arm a bit as she caught her returning fist, peering out at Zero from beneath her long bangs. She seemed to do a double take at the sight of his damaged body. She was ... still feeling pretty good actually! Was she winning this battle, somehow? That was certainly an exciting thought, but she didn't trust these feelings. Zero was ... probably stronger than her, right? There couldn't have been all that talk amongst the federation about just any old reploid... The idea that she was stronger than she allowed herself to believe was lost on her. Kelsey's fears were somewhat concerned however when Zero threatened her, raising her arms protectively. It looked like she intended to stand her ground.

And so she did. A crimson bubble shield emerged to tank Zero's blow, collapsing inwards slightly from below as Kelsey warded the blow. The reploid was quietly considering her next course of action when sweet light the ground exploded. Kelsey was just kind of taken off guard, as one often is when the world around them literally explodes without warning. And well--You could say Zero calling out his attacks was a warning... but was it?! Did a dude having a little fun really prepare you for spontaneous groundsplosion?! No. No it did not. The blast faded and Kelsey was still standing, a sort of heat steam rising from her body. For a moment she almost appeared unfazed, but then she began to stagger backward like a drunk and the illusion fell flat.

Kelsey regained her sense of balance after a moment, shifting into a less akward stance. "...Sometimes I wonder if I'd be better off without a suffering circuit." Kelsey mumbled in distress, barely audible. She turned her gaze down at her hand as if in mid-recoil. "Actually... I've never been trained by anyone." Kelsey replied in a rather matter-o-fact tone. "I was just my creator's ... happy accident." she went on in an inappropriately cold tone. Pain had a way of twisting one's emotions, and Kelsey certainly had no control over hers. A collapsing wave formed in her palm and she pulled her hands back, the energy taking a tainted purple color to set it apart from its normal blue hue.

"Annihilator... Hadoken!" Kelsey shouted, thrusting her arms forward in a sweeping motion, hadou errupting from her palms outwards in a torrent of destruction that swept across the battlefield towards Zero in an effort to blow him away. Zero might very well recognize the attack. The powerful recoil from the attack shot through Kelsey's body, rocking her as she retaliated in kind.

Well, the battle certainly ended with a bang, from both ends of the battlefield too. Luckily, the refined Nintendium kept the structure of the arena intact and the protective bubble between the audience and the fighters below kept everyone safe It was always a bit The duo of destructive blast were certainly more than enough to kick Lt Surge’s attention back onto the match itself because frankly it felt like the battle took months to complete.

With a slight crack of his neck, the Lightning American stepped down from his viewing area (specifically crafted so that it was soundproof and he didn’t have to hear MC Ballyhoo). As he made the march down the colosseum, he snatched one of his Pokeballs from his belt and threw it to the centremost section of the arena. From the capsule arose his Electivire and the Pokemon was quick to pick up on what it was sent to do. The hairy beasty rushed over to where the battle was taking place and threw himself between the duelists, growling and signal both to stop what they were doing.

Surge eventually got his boots onto the ground, not making too much effort to rush to the two combatants and adjusting his sunglasses as he did. “Well, that sure was a battle. More like a bunch of babies flailing at each other until the other one dropped. I will say though, what bits of strategy I saw, I caught some sort of potential. Kelsey, you’ve got the makings for a fine soldier in my eyes. You might not have been trained by someone before, but you could be now” the electric gym leader stated sternly as he handed Kelsey a Lightning Badge. “That gets you into my gym, we’ll see what we can make of you, but be certain that we’ll teach you something new” he continued as he wandered over to his big fuzzy wuzzy. “I suppose we’ll be seeing you next time, eh Zero?” he stated nonchalantly as he nudged the electric gorilla to get them both out of there. Sure enough, the beast tucked the muscly man underneath his arm and leapt away, no doubt off to the other ten or so matches that needed his overview.
