Tony listened to Jedah who introduced himself and told the boy why he was here and more about her partner...Who was apparently the sun goddess Amaterasu, Tony laughed and simply stared at Jedah, not moving any closer to him. "Really...I would like to believe that I ended up In this crazy planet and you and the sun goddess Amaterasu came all the way here to get me and Salsa somewhere safe...If I can find Salsa that Is." Tony said as he spoke again soon after. "Sorry Jedah...If that's really your name to try and make me follow you, but I'm still no---However before Tony could finish...He heard a bark nearby.

"What was that?" Tony said turning behind him and followed the source of the half bark, not caring If Jedah follow's him or not. After walking for a few minutes he soon saw two figures in front of him In a clear path...Upon further inspection they turned out to be Salsa...Sitting on top of Amaterasu. "Salsa!" Tony called out to the monkey to get his attention, which he did since the Monkey quickly saw Tony and yelled "EEK!" In joy and pointed Ammy to where Tony was before jumping off of her and running towards him.

Just then Tony was doing the same thing as well. "Finally we---However before Tony could say anything else.

A bomb fell in front of the two and exploded, sending the two back to there respectful partners at the start of the mission. "Argh!" Tony said as he fell in front of Jedah, Salsa meanwhile screamed, but just as he was about to land In front of Ammy...He appeared.




"Caught you now you little chimp!" The Colonel said as he stood In front of Amaterasu and took out a small cage...And watched as Salsa fell right into the cage and closed It. He quickly turned towards Ammy and oinked at her. "Want him back...Too bad, Now get lost you little mut!" He said as he tried to kick Amaterasu away from him should she try and attack him.

"Salsa! Give him back you cruel leader!" Tony said as he ran to Salsa's aid, but the Colonel simply took out a raygun and aimed It at Tony. "Dont move kid...Or your monkey friend wont like the hole that will soon be on your head!" He said as Tony suddenly stopped and gasped. "Your willing to shoot a little boy just so you can kidnap a monkey? What's wrong with you! Why do you even want Salsa anyway." He said to the Colonel who simply laughed. "Sorry boy...If only you knew...But you wont." He said as the area suddenly started to shake. "What's happening!?" Tony said quickly looking around...Before seeing a tank enter the area.



"Ahh, I do believe that's my ride." He said happily as he ran towards It and climbed to the top of the tank, looking down at Tony, Jedah and Ammy, behind the tank were two pigmask soldiers. "Want us to deal with them Colonel so they don't follow us?" The first solider said as the other one was curious. "What about the boy who was with the monkey?" He said to the Colonel as he answered the two questions.

"Yes, and don't worry about him, he's just a liability, along with the green man and that wolf...Just do away with them, all of them!" He said as he pointed the two soldiers towards the trio, who quickly ran towards them. "Should we head back to the group?" The Pigmask from the tank said from within, the Colonel just sat down and placed the caged Salsa beside him as he watched the battle that was about to happen.

"No...Not yet, I want to see these three face the wrath of our newly trained Pigmask soldiers."

He said as he rubbed his face as the Captain looked towards Jedah.

"Might as well help take down these three...Seeing as how you got the chimp...Now If only that green skinned man just stays where he's at." She said as she aimed her raygun at Jedah and In a flash, fired a mega blast from her raygun to Jedah, more powerful then a standard raygun a regular Pigmask Solider has.

"At this rate this battle will be easy."

Jedah simply yawned as he turned into crimson blood and melted into the ground, only to reappear right next to Tony in an equally calm demeanour the likes of which would mean one thing.

it was time to let loose the insanity and make pigs fly in abject terror.

Jedah would keep his cool regardless due to the fact that he was an inteligent nobel demon and was calm enough to let the insult slide. He turned to Tony and whispered in his ear "do everything in your power to beat down these porkchops, I'm going to deal with the blue baconator there, and once they are down, the white porkrind is next." he then turned to give the blue pigmask trooper a look that clearly said that they were the first soul on the kill list.

Jedah let out as a very menacing evil laugh that continued to echo within the jungle to make it sound like there were a cacophony of Jedah laughing their heads off as the genuine article closed in on the blue pigmask unit and unleashed BOTH balls of his blood into the pork heads face in an attempt to envenomate the poor sap.

She heard the rustling, she knew she should probably hide or ready or do something to prepare for another pigman... but she didn't. Amaterasu lifted her head and stared blearily into the distant shrubbery and lo and behold! A boy came out. He looked just like the description sounded! This had to be the guy that she was looking for, and sure enough the monkey confirmed it. The wolf's tail half heartily wagged as she ungracefully stumbled toward the pair. Sadly the happy reunion was cut very short.

Before her groggy mind could even register the shining white newcomer, Salsa was in a cage and locked up. Ammy shook her head in surprise. How did she not notice this guy?! A confused groan escaped her and she started at the Colonel confusedly for a second before dropping into an aggressive stance and growling. The pig turned around and mocked her, then lifted his leg in a sudden kick. Thankfully for him the effects of that dart were still coursing through her body, the stubby little legs of the Colonel able to whap Ammy solidly on the nose. She cried out, recoiling back in a repeated whimper as tears welled in her eyes. Busy with blinking back the pain the rumble of the ground wasn't a welcome sensation; nor was the presence of a tank.

Thankfully two soldiers hopped out of the armored vehicle to face them. What luck! With another shake of her head the sun goddess attempted to focus herself and prepare for the battle, snarling loudly after the attack on Tony. Sadly that seemed to draw their attention, the second soldier calling her the strongest one. It was a nice thought, some good praise right there she felt a bit proud of considering her state. She thought she would look dreadful but apparently she looked tough as ever!

Somehow these uplifting thoughts made the sleepy effect of the drugs cycling through her system fade to the background for just a moment, allowing her to lunge out of the way of the ray blast. Jedah's words called out instructions of which pigs to target, which sounded like a good plan to her. Not wishing to lose the fine momentum from her shockingly good dodge, Ammy immediately went into a run toward the first pig soldier that had shot at Tony. The white wolf charged in and went to bash the soldier with her Divine Retribution, flames swelling at its edges as it was swung around her body for the attack.

As Tony watched Amaterasu head toward's the Pigmask that tried to attack him earlier, he looked at the Colonel and Salsa. "Dont worry Salsa...I'll save you...But first." He turned his attention to the second pigmask since the captain was busy fighting Jedah, he turned to him and threw his hat at him...A hat with knifes In It, the pig gulped and tried to run away from the incoming killer hat. "No, please, I have a wife and kid!" He said as he tried to dodge the attack.

After dodging all three attacks, she had her back against the tank. "These soldier's are powerful....How can they be so good?" Tony said In shock towards Jedah and Amaterasu as the captain looked up at the colonel. "Sir, gonna need a little dose of sleep injection for the green man." She said as she held her hand out for an object the Colonel quickly threw down towards her. "Fine...Dont waste It like what the other's do." He said as the woman nodded before running toward's Jedah to try and inject something into him to make him dizzy...Or sleepy.

It was like these little piggies had a stroke of Kremling luck! Though it probably helped that she was still under the drowsy effects of a half applied sleep dart. For all she knew maybe she was stumbling about, nearly tripping on roots sticking up from the underbrush or wavering in every step across this uneven ground. The path behind the tank was probably nice and flat... Amaterasu huffed as she turned her head to find the Pigmask she'd missed lining up a shot. It was very unfortunate timing as the blast of laser burned right into her cheek as she attempted to get out of the way. A wisp of flames were barely dragged by the energy blast darting by at light speed, but if anything the soft warmth of her divine instrument was a comfort to the burn she had just received from the gun.

After the yelp of pain had screeched through the clearing her vocals shifted into an angry growl. At the very least that was unhampered by her weariness; of which she could feel was beginning to lift. Perhaps finally the adrenaline of the situation was overcoming the drug. Either way she wasn't going to let that shot go unpunished! With a ferocious snarl Amaterasu signaled for five of her ethereal beads to return the favor.

Pleased with the trajectory the five rocketed off at a certain word spoken by the Blue Pigmask caught her immediate attention: sleep injection. Twisting her head around she scanned the rest of the battlefield with a light blur across her vision. Luckily the captain was the only Blue thing around so that made it a lot easier. Ammy noted Tony had taken some mild damage from Pigmask but was otherwise doing good, but Jedah was about to be hit with a sleep dart. The white wolf turned herself around and barrelled toward the Captain; though unable to make it before the dart was sent flying after Jedah. If her ally was put to sleep she couldn't just leave him to these porkers!

With barely a growl Amaterasu was upon the blue armored soldier pig. Canines bared she attempted to bite the Captain a couple of times on the arm and hopefully hamper her ability to shoot things.

Upon noticing that Jedah had disappeared, the Colonel clapped his hands at the Captain. "He's gone Cap, go back to the group and check on them, I'm sure our two grunts will finish the boy and wolf at this rate." The Colonel said to the Captain as she sighed before running out of the battle, heading back to a different pigmask group that was mentioned earlier as the colonel continued to watch the fight below him.

"Your not going to defeat me!" Tony said to Pigmask Grunt B who growled. "Oh yeah, we'll just see about that!" He said as he fired another ray blast at Tony, who tried to get out of the way.

"Here we go again."

The grunt was hit by most of the beads, but managed to dodge two, he aimed his raygun at Ammy and fired as the sun goddess tried to find the captain so she can bite her, however she had already left the battle due to Jedah disappearing and that Tony and Amaterasu were not In her range of fighting.

Curses! It seemed the delirium of the darts had been affecting her more than she had realized. Long before Ammy was anywhere near her intended target the Captain retreated, leaving the wolf embarrassingly lashing out at something that was much much farther than she had expected. At first she paused, wholly confused at what she had just done, her focus shifting to see the unfortunate predicament the young boy was currently in. But when another laser blast scorched her backside her attention reeled back around to the annoying little piggy the wolf had previously been engaged with. Her muzzle wrinkled as she bared her teeth and snarled at the soldier.

Her tail blackened in a sudden rush, the only signal the poor oinker would have before a fiery explosion erupted around him. The massive ball of flames licked at the ground and vegetation around, though luckily most of it was rich enough in moisture to not suddenly start an uncontrollable wild fire. However, some dead fall around ignited as the swirling trails of fire lashed out around the Pigmask soldier. Amaterasu watched, her blurred vision and sluggishness finally wearing off as she got serious in this fight, to see the result of her attempt to cook some pork. Should the soldier still be on his feet the white wolf would charge forward and make a couple bites; hopefully they weren't as far off of their mark as the last round.

The Colonel meanwhile sighed at the fight between the two. "Perhaps I have misspoken...Oh well, I am leaving soon, with my prize." The Colonel said looking down at a scared Salsa before looking towards the other grunt, who was about to fire another blast at Tony after a few minutes of silence. "Let's see If the other grunt Is doing good." The Colonel said to Salsa as he watched the second grunt fire at Tony.

"Yikes, oh hats!"

Tony got hit and fell on the ground, but not before quickly getting up again and running towards the grunt, trying to slash him as his determination was high. "I'm not going down!" Tony said as he tried to slash at the grunt.

Things seemed to be going much in her favor with all of her attacks. A little singed and smelling of burnt pork the pigmask attempted to smack her on the nose again but Ammy was able to back off in time, the soldier's hand swiping harmlessly through the air. He was beginning to look a little tired, or so she guessed from his sloppy retaliation. He didn't even fire his ray gun at her. All the best for her.

Amaterasu cackled lightly, tongue hanging out as she decided on her follow up. With another dip into her celestial power the canine activated her brush in a playful manner, twisting her head around as if following the invisible strokes until *pop* a lily pad came out of nowhere and slapped its wet tendril-like roots and flat head all around the Pigmask Soldier. That should do the trick; momentarily at least. She had other things that needed attending! Particularly that worrying comment her keen ears picked up from the general about leaving soon. At the same time Tony didn't seem to be doing all too good against his own little piggy. Who should she go for? Tony had yet to land a hit from the bits she glanced of the fight but overall didn't seem to be taking too much damage. Salsa on the other hand... that impatient white porker might actually leave his soldiers behind in order to escape with his captive.

Snorting as she regained a bit of serious focus Amaterasu disengaged from the Pigmask she had been contending with, in the hopes her lily pad would be distraction enough for a few moments. With adrenaline finally overpowering the lingering effects of that silly sleep dart there was no question of her covering a bit of distance toward the tank where the general sat. Of course, she still wouldn't be able to get into melee with the guy but... the least she could do is try to immobilize that tank. Jumping into the air to get a better look at where the armored behemoth was sitting, the general snugly nestled at its trap, Ammy dabbed the ground below the tank's left track with her brush. To everyone else it would appear she just made a dramatic show, landing harmlessly on the ground and ceasing her approach to watch. But, in the next few moments, the ground began to quake.

Suddenly Tree! p_1d20+3
From under the left side of the tank a massive tree burst up from the ground, branches spidering out at dangerous speeds as it grew and raked across the sides of the vehicle. If the general wasn't quick he could very well be swept up into the woods arms. The tank however didn't really have much of a dodge chance. If she was extremely lucky the sudden push from the tree would tip the tank over so it was unusable for escape; but she was unsure of the resiliency the thing would have due to its superior weight and sturdiness. One thing was for sure: the tree was having a rough time about it, where usually it would grow perfectly straight this time it was horribly bent to the side as it combated the tank for the shared space.

Having stayed purposefully back to avoid getting hit with her own area attack, Amaterasu barked a few times; calling for Salsa. She hoped he would give her his position so she could get on with the rescue in her next approach attempt. Though, who knows what sort of dastardly tricks the general had up his sleeve. Or if the pigmask she left to contend with her lily pad would be at her heels.

Tony was having trouble with the Pigmask, so much so that the Pigmask managed to grab him by the collar when he was close enough. "Grah, let me go!" Tony said as he tried to get out of the Pigmasks grip, but unfortunately he couldn't as the Pigmask laughed, meanwhile the first pigmask was getting tired with attacking Ammy, and the sight of her firing that lilypad made him oink In surprise.

"Oh gosh, here we go...Again, I...Will...Stop you."

The lilypad did just the trick on him, as he couldn't take the pain any longer. He fell on the ground, knocked out and defeated, giving Amaterasu more time on rescuing Salsa since no more enemy's will try to stop her. The General looked around for Amaterasu. "Where did she go?" He said to himself as he saw the wolf land somewhere. "What are yo---" However before he could finish, he heard something fall from above him, he quickly looked up to see the tree suddenly fall towards him, he tried to move out of the way...But It was too late.

Before the tree hit the tank, he turned towards Amaterasu.

"You foolish wolf...You don't know what's In thi---However before the General could finish, the tree crashed Into the tank...And exploded, spreading through towards Amaterasu, Tony and the remaining Pigmask Grunt, Tony punched the grunt on the stomach and landed on the ground, before looking at Ammy.

"DUCK AND COVER!"

Tony got burnt from the blast, but quickly got up from the now ruined area of the jungle. Nobody was around, Amaertasu, Salsa, The General...Or the Pigmask grunts, they were all gone, the wounded Tony looked around for Ammy and Salsa, calling out there names.

She smelt the spark of fire half a second before the fiery ball of rage erupted to engulf the entire area. Whoops.

The patch of jungle was a blackened waste. Smoke permeating the air with flickers of flame crackling away a losing battle against the lush greenery of the infected forest. Her coat was a smokey grey instead of its shining white, bits of it a bit darker than others she noticed as her eyes flicked open with a stinging blur. Her ears rang with the leftover shock of the close range explosion. As she stirred ash and dirt clung to her body. First it was just a stiff lift of her head to get some of her bearings, but the heavy black of smoke still hung in the air. Mixed with the charred landscape surrounding her now and her hazy vision as she recouped it was unlikely she was going to see anything right away. She thought maybe someone was calling out but the persistent ring in her ears drowned out all other noises.

With a grunt Ammy slowly rose to her feet, feeling the after burn ache in her muscles. Maybe she shouldn't have gotten so close to that tank... She shook her head. But Salsa was in there! The canine whined as worry overtook her. What had she done? Was the monkey okay? Amaterasu didn't even bother taking a moment to try and shake off all the soot clinging to her fur before beginning to walk forward. Blinking excessively she cleared her vision and scanned the area. Nothing stood out immediately. No giant tank, no soiled grey, there wasn't even really any green left in the now artificial clearing. The wolf released a loud bark, barely hearing it over her impaired hearing. She attempted to catch any smells other than burning but that didn't go very well.

Luckily making her own noise seemed to pan out as a hazy form started breaking through the lingering smoke wafting up from the remnants of flame. It was too tall to be one of those pig guys so she figured it could only be Jedah or the boy they had also come to rescue. The sun goddess barked again to confirm her location, the ringing in her ears finally beginning to relent. Now they just needed to find Salsa. Maybe that cage did some good against the explosion; she hoped.

Tony turned when he saw that Amaterasu was ok and ran towards her. "Oh, your ok, thank god, did you see that general or Salsa anywhere?" Tony said to Ammy as he looked around the wreckage of the area. Salsa, The General or his two troops were no where to be seen. Tony ran towards the wreckage, dropping a burnt photo In the process as he began to look for his monkey friend as he dug Into the wreckage, not caring If his clothes get dirty or If he get's hurt more.

"Salsa, Salsa!" He called as she continued to dig deep.

If Amaterasu examined the photo It would appear to be a picture of four children In wintry clothing, one boy had brown hair, another's hair could not be seen as he was wearing a panda hat, there was a third boy In the picture with black hair and was wearing a cap, finally the last person In the photo was a girl with blonde hair...Wait a girl with blonde hair, doesn't that girl look familiar?

"Salsa, where are you?"

Tail wagging happily that it was a friendly face, albeit a little speckled with black, that had come to greet her. Good! That was one rescuee down; now to just find the other one. Tony was on the same train of thought, though a bit more frantic. The finely dressed lad dashed off for the wreckage calling for his monkey friend. Ammy was about to follow when she noticed the flutter of a paper square slip from the boy's pocket and settle onto the ground. Well of course she had to stop and look at it, at the very least to pick it up and return it to its owner. However, what she saw on the page was more interesting than she had initially anticipated and caused her a slightly longer delay.

All the happy faces smiling up at her was a heart warming image; a nice reminder of more pleasant times for everyone on this planet. But... there was something more. Ammy's eyes lingered on the blond haired girl. Pink dress, red shoes, familiar red ribbon... The canine sat on her haunches and lightly scratched at a ribbon just like it, wrapped around her neck and tied into a bow. It was Paula's. Paula. The girl in this photo. Amaterasu's heart snapped as she realized: these two were from Paula's world! Her dearest of friends! And she had just blown one up.

She snapped up the picture, rather carefully, in her mouth and safely placed it in her astral pouch. She would return the photo to him after they had scoured the area for the monkey. The wolf trotted over to the wreckage where Tony was digging; screaming for Salsa. Ammy's ears went back with guilt when she was near, but she didn't balk from getting right up in there and helping move some of the heavier stuff. Using her Divine Mirror she would be able to leverage larger and heavier pieces of the wreck in the hopes of discovering Salsa's cage in a pocket underneath.

Tony watched as Amaterasu lifted layers of rubble from the ground, hoping that Salsa Is found...But unfortunately her attempts to find the monkey were In vain as he was still not found, making Tony upset. "We cant find him...What If he's..." Tony didn't say anything afterwards, he looked around for his pocket...Only to find the photo missing, the picture of his dearest friend and crush Jeff, was gone, making him cover his hat as he was depressed, unaware that Amaterasu has It.

"Salsa's gone...And now the photo, why Is this odd planet so cruel?"

Tony did not look at Ammy...Until now, looking at the ribbon, It reminded him of a girl that was with Jeff during his journey to stop Giygas.

"You know, It's funny, I saw a girl once with that same kind of ribbon."

As they continued to dig with no sign of Salsa she started getting a bit frustrated. Grumbles and whines squeaked from her as she flipped bits of metal debris. But there was just nothing. When Tony stopped searching and piped up Ammy was feeling about the same. The wolf finished dropping a piece of the tank and sat down, watching the young lad dig through his coat. She perked back up when he mentioned the photo. Standing back up the sun goddess padded over to Tony's side and dug her snout into her astral pouch to produce the photo. It may have a bit of slobber on it but otherwise she took great care in not ruining it with her teeth. At least this was one thing she could do to make him feel a bit happier.

Following this the wolf nuzzled his arm in an attempt to console the boy. Surely this wasn't the end of that perky monkey. There was no sign of him here; nor the General. She bet that devious white pig probably had some sort of escape plan should things go sideways like that. He was aware of the explosives and he seemed at least a little smarter than those lackies of his, so to meet his end by the thing he was sitting in would have been silly. He probably escaped with Salsa! She was sure of it... really really hoped for it.


For now it seemed the best thing she could do for Tony was to take him to safety: the Life Sphere. She could bring him to Paula and they could have a happy reunion. The canine's tail began wagging, a soft bark escaping her before she nipped Tony's sleeve. Of course, she would take a look around in a desperate hope for some sign or trail of the general fleeing the scene before they left. Just in case.
