ELLO EVERYONE!
So as we said on the radio show we are doing a monthly newspaper for the Life Sphere called The Life and Times. It will be published the first of every month. Currently I have heard some interested in contributing but I will not make a signup topic for this to get done until I get a roll call for sure who wants to do the first edition next month. Here is the template:
And here is a basic rundown.
HEADLINES - The biggest chunk of work on the newspaper and the longest written. An article discussing the most important news or event(s) of the month. This requires someone with some time and a great creative streak. Two paragraphs at most.
ADVICE - You are a whistleblower. You write this with a nickname anonymously. You are going to randomly write giving advice to some made up Li character who requested your intellect on an issue or concern. You choose the issue, the concern, the character who showed their concern, and ofcourse, you also write advice on it as the columnist. For example; "Blue Yoshi writes, hey nickname123, how do you suggest I find my missing egg? Well Blue Yoshi I think you need to..." So it's all one connected blurb, get it? Keep this PG and appropriate please. One paragraph or so.
OPINIONS - The easiest to write. A rant and rave about what you agree or don't agree with under the present condition of the Life Sphere or the areas surrounding it. Can be any length.
OTHER NEWS - Any other mediocre or big news that didn't make the headlines. This requires alot of research. Two paragraphs. Make it up if you must.
SUNSHINE BATTLES - Very easy to write. Just jot down the results of the last five sunshine stadium battles. You can add a few words of dialogue too if you want. For example: "Shadow vs Game and Watch, Shadow won. A great fight!" then you go on to the next. "Zero vs Banjo, Zero won, close call!" Etc etc fastest to write up. 5 lines of results dialogue optional. Feel free to put the dates of the battles too.
CLASSIFIEDS - Made up job listings.....make up like 10 or a bit less or more, however many you can think of. Just write out a random job, and describe it briefly, what the needs are for hiring, etc.
COMIC(OPTIONAL) - Are you an artist and wanna draw up a fast little comic? I'll find a way to squeeze it in!
HOROSCOPES(OPTIONAL) - Self explanatory.
