Ragna pretty much had his reasons for doing this but he heard through the grapevine that his Death Battle opponent; Sol Badguy, was in the Life Sphere.  He sent a letter via Carrier Pidgey to where he was living, hoping to catch him up today and hopefully get a decent victory for once...  That Loss to hades still on his mind more than that loss to Hazama, so it would be worth his while to face the one he lost to in a DEATH BATTLE.

The note was a direct challenge to Sol Badguy.  It read:

"Dear Sol Badguy; Heard you were in town and thought about asking you for a rematch from our last Death Battle here in the Sunshine Stadium.  Hope you like fighting with turn restrictions, because I'm challenging you to a Special Fight.  Meet me at the arena at your leisure, because I will be waiting.  yours truly; R. Bloodedge."

Hopefully it would entice Sol to be ready to fight at a moments notice regardless, because Ragna was casually doing practise swings with his bloodscythejust because he was still determined to fight and win.

Sol was sitting in the hospital, listening to Queen. A blue jay-looking bird had flown into the room and circled around the Bounty Hunter's head. It dropped a note. It read:

"Dear Sol Badguy; Heard you were in town and thought about asking you for a rematch from our last Death Battle here in the Sunshine Stadium. "Special Fight? What the hell is that? However, since someone is challenging me for the first time since I got into this place, I accept. And this guy...looks like I've fought him before...but I don't know." Sol popped in his headphones again, listening to his very favorite band, Queen. A large sign said "Sunshine Stadium: Starvia-free battles!" He knew this was the place to go. He got ready to fight. He was still behind the entrance, which was very shadowy. He walked in and revealed himself. "You challenge me you son of a gun? Well then..." Sol popped his earphones out and put his MP3 player away, and drew the Junkyard Dog MK III. "Let's dial up to 50%." His sword opened in a jagged pattern and started blazing. He thought to himself 'Now, only if someone could explain the rules...'

With that request by sol, the sound of a man walking through the hall's was heard. The sound of a flickering match followed it, as a tall gentleman wearing a large leather jacket, wearing sunglasses and a lit cigar in his mouth. His thumb was ablaze in purple smoke, leading one to believe he lit his own cigar with his powers. The man leaned over the balcony, and took out a few bottles of liquor and a shaker. "Hey there. Name's Rodin. Looks like we got a match between some dangerous looking people...I like that."



"Seems were gonna have a special little smash 'em up. Don't worry, were gonna make it as unfair and dirty as the rules will allow me. Just follow these rules. Using items you receive from missions is not allowed. Using outside help is not allowed, unless you its part of your move set. And for legal reasons, i have to say you are not allowed to go for the kill. Trophifying and all that jazz. But for the reasons of a good fight, i say go crazy on each other. Oh, and you only got 5 turns each to beat the crap out of each other, you dig? And now, special rules..." Rodin created a demonic looking Wheel Of Fortune on a stand, and punched it with full demonic strength. "Huh...Alright. None of you are allowed to use your ultimate. No black nightmare whatchamacallit's from ragna and no flaming super duper stab's from sol. Use 'em, and i'll kick your asses twelve ways to heaven."

With that, Rodin started preparing a small mixed drink for himself, shaking it quickly with demonic force and vigor, pouring it in a tiny martini glass and drinking it. "Any of you wanna chicken out before i start?"

"I'm good with it, so I ain't wussing out." Ragna said, glancing at the referee. Luckily he was ready to go with a good old-fashioned brawl.

Good thing for Ragna was the fact that both he and Sol were pretty much on the bottom rung of the Smash Ladder, Bad news was that Sol Badguy was a Bounty Hunter, where as he had nothing but pent up rage for his losses.

Sol cleared his voice, because his voice didn't seem intimidating and cool as it usually was. Eh-ehrm. "No matter what you try, wise guy, you're being rocked!" Sol was overly confident that he was going to win, hoping he didn't have to bust out Gear Form like last time. "Now then, *******, let's draw!" His third word was cut out since all audiences were watching this on LI TV2. He hoped the referee had called the match by now, since he started rushing towards "Bloodedge" to land the first attack. He put his sword over his back, running at insane speeds and then jumped, bringing it down over the pupil of Jubei the Legendary. "This time, I won't kill you...but I'll come close to it!"

"Why the hell is sol so quick to attacking? All it does is make everyone confused."

"Yeah, knowing that crazy s. o. b. he probably will."

Ragna used his Bloodscythe to block Sol's overhead attack, which wasn't very nice considering that the guy was much more experienced than him anyway.

"Looks like I may have to get in some serious rump-kicking today!" Ragna said, giving Sol the look of disaproval that he normaly reserved for his brother in Jin Kisaragi.

Without so much as a warning, Ragna let fly a Seithr infused Soul Eater Punch to Sol's sternum, with intent to send him careening into the Nintendium Wall of the arena.

Sol Badguy jumped from the punch, avoiding it as it hit the stadium boards and probably gave one of the fans watching an injury. "This will be easier than the time I had to fight Ramlethal." He uttered while shaking a fist at Ragna. However, he did feel weakened by darkness. He approached the Bloodedge at insane speeds and started hacking and slashing, hoping to land some decent hits. However, he noticed he wasn't chaining as much as he did before. He followed up with stabbing his sword into the ground, making a flame pillar erupt, in an attempt to burn Jubei's pupil.

Ragna would certainly feel that in the morning as Sol's first attack struck, but with the mind of a military hater and psycoticly demonic beast within him, Ragna quite litterally charged foreward, making Sol's Cannon Flame attempt a moot point.

"Ramlethal? I thought your main antagonist was 'That Man'! Either you kicked his ass or you did a very crappy job, because you aren't gonna win any battles unless you experience the specticle that is holding a very deep seeded grudge against that one person who makes your life hell." Ragna said, his face very close to Sol's.

Ragna then performed another combo, it wasn't a Black Onslaught, but a Devoured By Darkness Bloodscythe Spin attack combo, infused with Soul Eater.

Sol said in a cocky voice, dodging the Bloodscythe Spin Attack from the Bloodedge with ease. However, he was grabbed by a shadow and blasted with dark soul power. He was knocked back a bit, but afterwards the bounty hunter slid under a Soul Eater like it was nothing. "You'll have to do better than that, *** *****!" Sol rushed up to Jubei's pupil and hoped to get him in the air with a Volcanic Viper attack, then follow with a big slash for the ground bounce.

Ragna had managed to dodge those bullets, but who knew how long it would last, especially if he couldn't get in enough massive damage due to not using an ultimate, but either way it was the same way with his opponent.

"Old news isn't always exactly good news, kid. If your here, then they are most certainly going to turn up sooner or later. And that's only if they had the balls to actually MAKE an appearence in this hellish place, though you'd have to wait it out like the snarky bastard you are." Ragna said, goading his opponent into flying into a rage.

While Sol was hit by most of the big-ass combo Ragna had going, he did not hear the Bloodedge taunt him with the sound of scraping ground ringing through his head. "Geez, calm down, kid." Mr. Badguy said as he drew his blade once again. "Yes, That Man was my biggest pain in the ass. Moving on, I'm sending you the biggest middle finger ever with this combo!" Sol rushed forward and started his combo off with a Dice Slash Repeat, following with a Rocking Kick aimed at Ragna's gut. He then attempted his signature Gun Flame, which he then followed into a Volcanic Viper, and then a Dice Slash Heavy to send him to the ground.
