History On Li:
You can't bust the Rust! But... Rusty was starting to feel a bit busted after working at his parents' deli FOREEEEVER! It was so unfair. Past-Rusty got to go on super fun space adventures while he was stuck working at a dumb old deli, chained to the counter, being whipped every so often by a vengeful beedril when he tried to escape (and oh did he try to escape many a time.) His destiny was to be the world's greatest pokemon trainer, not stay cooped up with the cold cuts all day! This was the thanks he got for saving the world? What a buncha ingrates!
All seemed hopeless for the young trainer-to be. The cards were stacked against the plucky Rusty... when out of nowhere he found a mysterious new portal in between the olives and bell-peppers. Now a cautious boy might gain some distance with the spontaneous vortex, possibly call for help... but not the future-greatest pokemon trainer in the world!!! Throwing caution to the wind (implying he had any to begin with), Rusty jumped head-first into the portal; the golden shackles holding him to the Deli breaking under it's suctioning force. He fell for what felt like hours before ending up... a whole new world!!! The world of Li, a whole new region he'd discovered by himself. A region that might have badges--badges for him to collect! New pokemon too--New pokemon that under the contractual obligation of all trainers he was obligated to "catche mall!" This may have been an onixpected development, but he absolutely wouldn't waste this chansey! Bayleef it!
Primary Attacks (3)
Headbutt: Rusty tells "Pikachu-Three", his recently caught Pupitar, to use Headbutt. Since
Bidoofs: A number of Bidoofs that Rusty has inexplicably crammed into a single ball spring out in every direction once set free; attacking anything and everything on sight... including Rusty usually! [Light STR Attack; AoE DMG 8% + Dex Mod; 2% recoil]
Cut Through the Competition: Rusty follows the advice of his idol, trainer Red, and clears a path through to victory by throwing a lit match down on the ground near his opponent. [Heavy WIS Attack, DMG 25%, 50% inflict burn; 3 turn cooldown]
Special Attacks (3)
Pokeball Go!: #Gottacatchemall! Following the wise words of his idol and role-model, Red, Rusty throws one of his copious and varied pokeballs to scizor the day! Any opponent caught in this pokeball are grappled, restricting their ability to see or hear anything outside of the ball. Attempting to escape the pokeball once inside requires a flat 16+STR roll. After three turns pass however, they are released from the ball--Unfortunately, this also means that, as their new totally legit and legal trainer, Rusty is able to use up one of their three actions (either as a command for their turn or for himself in his own turn) for the next three turns. Even if the pokeball is blocked however, it will still undoubtedly cause quite a bit of paralysis as the halted capture field delivers an unfortunate electrical shock towards the individual. [Grapples (DEX vs. CON); 16+STR to Escape; After 3 turns, controls 1 action for 3 turns; inflicts paralysis if bubble shielded; 4 turn cooldown]
Logic is the Rarest Candy of All!: Rusty's stupidity and pure ineptitude is only matched in magnitude by his insane luck. Almost as if he has a field of negativity surrounding him, the boy's craziness when directed at some people can drag other people down to his level--especially when it comes to his enemies. In the case of this move, Rusty's negative WIS stat is flipped and put up against the enemy's INT; upon success, for the next 2 turns, one of their stats will randomly (decided by 1d6) be set equal to Rusty's WIS. However, should the attack fail, one of Rusty's stats instead will be made equal to his WIS (decided by 1d5) for the next 2 turns. [Medium (WIS vs. INT) Attack; DMG 5%; Success=Switch random(1d6) opponent stat to 1 | Failure=Switch random(1d5) Rusty stat to 1; 2 turn duration; 2 turn cooldown]
Can't Bust the Rust: Like it says on his iconic t-shirt! This attack must be used twice for it's effect to activate. All damage dealt to Rusty (not counting damage absorbed by shields) after the turn that this attack is first used (for a max of 3 turns) is added together. Upon this attack being used again, all of that damage can be thusly dealt back onto a single opponent at once in a seemingly random freak accident! ....However, if the attack roll when used is less than a nat-10, all of the damage will instead randomly be dealt to one of Rusty's allies (or Rusty should he not have any allies.) In addition, the entire time that he's being abused like a Sandbag, Rusty is unable to dodge any attacks himself. [1st use=Stores non-shielded damage dealt to Rusty (for a max of 3 turns), can't dodge; 2nd use=attacks 1 opponent w/ stored damage; 9 or lower roll: Damage randomly dealt towards Rusty's allies (or Rusty if none); 3 turn cooldown]
Final Smash (1)
Bidocalypse: A rift in space and time is opened up to reveal the glistening golden body of "Peanutbutter" AKA the Perfect Bidoof. Depending on the roll of 1d2, Peanutbutter can do one of two things:
- Doof: PB encompasses every other character in the area present in a field with its attack, turning everyone except for Rusty into Bidoofs. As Bidoofs, characters still possess the ability to speak, minor distinguishing articles of clothing, and their stats prior to the transformation; however, their attacks are unfortunately replaced for the duration of the FS with Tackle. [Turns everyone except for Rusty into Bidoofs; Replaces transformed characters' attacks with: "Tackle: DMG 9%"; 3 turn duration]
- "This": PB unleashes an explosive, planet-shattering death beam from the heavens onto a single target with just the flick of it's wrist. [DMG 60%]
