Sonic was never on Li.... Not this Sonic anyway! This Sonic hails from a lovely dimension far, far away that's quite a bit different from your average, run-of-the-mill Green Hill!
On one fateful day, the gang had decided to have one of their famous, acclaimed races! Why? ....honestly it was just because they were bored. Of course a lot of the town was invited, but honestly they'd had their fill of turning the island into a race car track while Eggman tried(and failed) to sabotage it in an attempt to win for some weird and probably sad reason. And so there was Team Sonic, in their respect karts, tearing up the sand as they raced accross the shoreline.
Until suddenly, Sonic wasn't pedaling his car (the Blue Force One) down the beach; but instead down a very crowded street! With little time to think, the hedgehog was forced to swerve his vehicle into a thankfully abandoned alleyway before bailing out as it crashed into the dead-end. Now, he wasn't a stranger to accidental inter-dimensional travel or even accidental time travel... but come on. Did it have to happen on race day!?
As the brave little hedgehog ventured out to explore the Life Sphere, he was surprised to find a variety of people didn't apparently hold his image in the best of light. In fact, a lot of this world had bits and pieces of it that confused the hell out of him. Oh well, at least there's a chili-dog place and he actually gets payed to do hero work. That's some consolation, right?
Primary Attacks (3)
Enerbeam Attack: Firing out an whip/tether of pure energy from his communicator, Sonic can grapple enemies to close in on them for an attack or even grapple them in place with it like a whip! [Heavy Dex Attack; DMG 22%, w/ grapple - consumes 2 actions; 1 post cooldown]
Close Combat: Sonic can unleash a flurry of rapid punches and kicks to devastate an opponent. It's not clean but it gets the job done. [Light DEX Attack; DMG 8%]
Spin Attack: Sonic's signature move! By curling into a ball while moving at high-speed, the blue blur can turn into an even more dangerous buzz-saw-like projectile. The attack grows stronger the faster Sonic's moving while performing it. [Medium/Heavy Dex Attack; DMG 16% + Dex Mod; 1 turn cooldown]
Special Attacks (3)
Fire/Ice Mode: Sonic can use the Fire/Ice function on his communicator to envelop himself in an aura of whichever element chosen. When activate, all attacks that Sonic performs will have a chance to inflict either Burn or Frozen equal to the amount of damage dealt by that attack. It also proves useful for melting ice or lighting substances on fire! [% inflict burn/frozen = dmg done; 3 turn duration; 3 turn cooldown]
Sonic Time: Accelerating himself beyond normal capabilities, Sonic can enter a state of movement he calls "Sonic Time". In it, he can think faster, see faster, and move so fast that the world appears to be moving in slow motion even while he isn't running. For the next 2 turns, Sonic's dodge attack rolls gain an added bonus equal to his DEX mod. However, after it expires he becomes unbelievably fatigued; any dodge, resistance, and attack rolls receiving a debuff equal to his DEX for the next 3 turns. [+DEX to attack and dodge rolls; 2 turn duration, 3 turn cooldown; -DEX to atk & dodge rolls during cooldown]
Homing Attack: Sonic charges up his spin-dash mid-air; enveloping himself in a blue aura to lock on and attack a specific enemy or chain of enemies like a homing missile! If this attack is used to target one enemy, it takes up all 3 combat actions; dealing massive damage. If used to target more than one enemy though, it's damage output is divided equally between the enemies targeted; with each attack after the first receiving an additional +2 to accuracy roll. [Medium/Heavy DEX Attack; DMG = 32*(1/# of targets); accuracy roll +2 for each additional target]
Final Smash (1)
Team Sonic FTW: Sonic's communicator opens up a temporary digital gateway that allows him to randomly summon two of his friends to the battle! Together they lay down a coordinated team attack smack-down on the enemy for maximum damage! Depending on who's summoned (decided by 2d4) varying effects will occur, once per turn, for the next 3 turns. [Duration: 3 turns; roll 2d6 to determine effects (if same #, roll again)]
1: Knuckles appears and launches an relentless barrage of heavy punches on the enemy. [DMG 32%; Static accuracy of 16]
2: Amy surprises the enemy with a heavy hammer strike every turn, smashing them so flat they shrink! [Inflicts Mini; DMG 25%]
3: Tails flies around the enemy in the Tornado, distracting and disorienting them with his Enerbeam and fast maneuvers while hacking any technology they might have to turn against them. [All technology-based attacks/items the opponent uses have a 50% chance to hurt them instead, the first turn they're used afterwards; -5 accuracy debuff inflicted]
4: Sticks bashes any evil technology she sees on the enemy to pieces while attacking them with her boomerang once every turn! [All technology-based attacks/items the opponent possesses are disabled; 2 turn duration; DMG 20%; Static accuracy of 15]
