There was not much for his home away from home, at least that would have been the initial thought when coming upon the small house. But it was something that he definitely made the most of. The house's bare essentially more than meeting his needs in terms of the basics. He had been happy enough to add more color to it, using his talent for sewing and putting some things together at work here. He was sure to bring some extra things into being: such as a bedroll in case he ever had a guest! So far just one stitched, small beanbag for sitting, it was a project that took some time: but with his abilities? Such a task was nothing but fun, not a thing he considered time consuming, since it was for brightening up the home. A nice, but small quilt that he stitched together. Of course there was nothing to stop a few special touches of his personal decor. He was easiest to please with small successes, and the only thing waiting to be added to his home? Was with time, to add more furniture if not a few other nice goods. But of course, with time and effort, things that the half kitsune had plenty to give. He was going to make sure that his home became one to be proud of sharing with others. With a single glance around, he had been pleased with the overall outcome. With his hands on his hips, all he could do was nod, presently pleased with what he saw. "And all I can say? Is pure success." the words came, not just with a little pride, but also with a little bit of sunshine in his words as he spoke to himself. "Just a little bit at a time, I'll see this place becomes a nice place to visit!" like no less of anything in his life, he was going to take this task on slowly, but with great gusto. The home was after all, a work in progress.

One would think there'd be some kind of lowkey housing crisis going on, but...apparently not. The house here is small, but is in reasonably good repair. Out of curiosity, the dark wizard Schezo took a peek inside, unannounced.

Huh...I think I've seen him before.

The house is as modest as it looks, but if it's cozy, then that should be fine for him. Schezo has to share his room with Lemres, and even then, Lemres does seem a little fidgety. He's got the boot to his leg a few times...more than he's got as of late, actually. The resident? Arrow. He's only met him once, but his abilities haven't stuck to Schezo's memory that much yet. There was that one expedition to reclaim the Gunship, but that was it. If he remembers him, then that's easier to break the ice.

Of course, with metal greaves mildly thumping the ground, it'd be hard to show up quietly.

Arrow perked up almost immediately, while he was in the midst of his latest onset of crocheting, the fox to the small blanket he was working on and draped it over his leftmost tail. Of course he wondered if he had a guest already? Well the little fox was to his feet in no time and hopped towards the door. With only a moment between taking a light breath and then opening up his door before he looked to his perspective guest.  "Well hello there! You're...Schezo, right? I remember you well, we went on that mission together, with Arle!" Naturally the fox did not know the wizard that well, but he recalled his name and his particular weapon skill as well. It was hard for him to forget someone who had command of a great weapon skill, it was something that the fox still avidly attended to, his martial talents were something he kept honed. But of course, all of this silly extra talk in his head. He had a guest, so that meant it was time to invite him in and take care of his guest. "Come right in, won't you? Welcome, welcome!" while he had not been expecting company, he was pretty quick to adapt and was glad for it.

Schezo's not the one subtlety, unless he's dressed for the part, anyhow. Was he bothering any in-progress projects? No intentionally, no. His presence was acknowledged, the dark wizard, waving his hand in greeting. Huh, so Arrow does remember Schezo.

"Yes, I am Schezo. I'm quite pleased you remember me, Arrow."

Welcomed into his home, Schezo attempted to find a chair to sit on to get comfortable. The inside is understandably plain as he suspected, but there's not much room to complain. Even with just the essentials, it does seem better than what Schezo was offered. The idea of his own place already appealed to him as it is. His eyes wandered a bit more, trying to glean his abilities with what's lying around. From the unfinished blanket, to the beanbag chair he's on, it's evident he's quite the handyman.

"Did you make most of these furnishings yourself?"

Clearly pleased that he had been right in his identification of the capable swordsman, the multi-tailed fox found himself moving back to the ground, sitting down on a tail while using his second tail to draw the unfinished blanket and crocheting needles back to his hand. Of course, while he was master of the art, he took great pride in what he did make. Anything to make his home a little bit more like his older one would do. He'd be sure to put more of them around, it made him happy to see that they were already noticed. "Yes, actually I did make those! I try my best with crafting, its something to fill unused time, its relaxing, and it practices my hand to eye coordination when I am not training." the fox's answer was simply, revealing a few of the secrets of his typical 'bread and butter' skills, but hinting at nothing of the power that rested within him. It was not that he could not be figured out, of course, his general means could be learned of through his favorite hing to do as well: from questions.  It was not something he'd bring up just yet of course, he was going to eager engage with his guest. He did not know Schezo well, that was true, but this surprise visit might allow him to change that. "So is there anything that I can get for you, Schezo? Some water? A little tea perhaps?" the fox was glad to have his impromptu magic, the little conjuration magic that he could cast alone without much focus took little of his energy and was fairly harmless as far as battle was concerned. In this light, he was offering that for a nice quick cup of tea, something that he'd use to bring both a nice set of wooden cups of tea. A thing that he could keep for later, new dishes from some tea usage!

Ah, craftsmanship, something Schezo never really took the time to refine during his years living alone. He did know some survivalist things such as cooking and improvising camp, but that was just about the extent of it. Simply "good enough" was all he could afford when his wallet was consistently light. Schezo could probably foster it well if he ever gets the time to improve, but alas, he is more focused on swords and magic. Though, with that in mind, it's about time the two allies learned about each others' abilities.

...over some tea.

"Oh, you have tea? That sounds quite pleasant right now."

Huh...So Arrow does have some mild potential in thaumaturgy. The utility is there, but it's particularly minor levels of skill. As a skilled mage, this certainly caught the dark wizard's attention, and it never occurred to him to try and sense it until now.

"I didn't expect you to know some magic. I'm not a teacher, but I'm sure it can grow with practice."

Magic and their users do some in all sorts of shapes and sizes, after all. Heck, Schezo looks nothing like that part and knows much about the ancient arts.

Giving the mage a soft nod of his head while his fingertips came together, certainly the fox caught notice of his desire to enjoy tea, which was a favorite thing of the fox's on a regular basis. It was a wonder at times he didn't seem overloaded with extra wood, right? But of course the fox was crafty, he literally utilized any resource at his side. He had an awful lot of arrows didn't he? Even in the rather colorful room of his crafts, a second gaze revealed a few extra quivers full of arrows. At least three quivers full of arrows, of varying types separated with a decent degree of measure. It was simply to say, Arrow's love of tea produced a decent amount of wood scraps for wooden arrow shafts. Of course the fox was already just thinking about what he was going to do with his aim on the use of remains of the wooden cups, he seemed secure enough with his own internal reserves that creating two cups was not going to be particularly a problem for him at least. Upon leaving the brief focus on what he'd be doing after tea and later on, the fox smiled big and held his palms out before him. Actually getting to the focus of the tea of his choice: a cup of jasmine green tea. 

It came with several moments of murmuring a few words, something in the native tongue of his mother's people. Depending upon how one enunciated the tongue, it was commonly pronounced 'Kitran', but had several other phonetic variations: from Kitral to Kit'an. That was a tricky language to get into, a whole different kettle of fish really, it was also how Arrow could conjure such a basic thing from seemingly nowhere! Of course, it was a fine utility, but it did little to serve him in battle, it was just perfect for company at this point.


"Annnd here we go! I hope you don't mind Jasmine green tea, its usually whatever tea comes to mind and I have a nice collection here, but this? Makes it right as rain!" of course the additions in his bouncy mood remained high, as he stepped towards his guest and offered him the first cup of the sweet scented jasmine green tea. The young tod's tails swishing again as he thought of nothing more at this point other than seeing that Schezo was to enjoy the first cup of tea before they'd begin their chat. He seemed to be quite the character, a giddy little fox who took his time to see so many nuances go through his mind while entertaining a guest. 


"Oh! And if you have anything you want to ask me about, Schezo? Please, ask away! I don't mind sharing stories and things about myself. It is the best way to get to know someone after all!"   perhaps both silly and cute in its own right, the everyday statement made enough sense, but it was delivered with a ray of sunshine, courteous of the jubilant nature that Arrow seemed to carry in abundance.

This is a lot of handmade tools and weapons here and there, now that he took a second scan of the place. If he likes what he does, then it shows. All those arrows might seem excessive to the dark wizard, but in hindsight, every single one counts. Resourceful one he is... Time seemed to have passed quickly, as the tea was already prepared and served. He carefully took the cup, being sure not to spill the hot drink. It'd be bad if it did, and he's no stranger to getting scalded. The delicate scent of jasmine is evident, and it's a relaxing scent he doesn't get to have too often. And a bit of a luxury considering the living conditions of the entire Sphere. He took a sip--oh, that's hot--of the tea...

"Thank you. A well-brewed cup of tea is something I seldom have, and this one is quite nice."

He put the cup down, given the opportunity to ask about who Arrow is. Oh, this is a good time to ask about the magic he has!

"From where have you acquired your magic? It comes in many forms with equally abundant sources. My ability to use magic was fostered through education in school."

Upon hearing the question the fox perked up at the question it was effectively reaching towards his family tree, something that he still favored discussing. Though of course, he had no knowledge of where they were now? He knew that they'd prefer for him to stay up and at'em! He did not allow his occasional mopey nature to slow him down, as the positive fox was on a path forward. For all! For Li! and of course many more positive notions involved as well. At this point, he was settling himself down and used a sip of tea to do so as well. "Mmm.., in case of my magical prowess, it mostly comes from my mother's side of the family. She is a full blooded Kitsune, if you are familiar with the breed?" His mother had always told him their people existed in many places, all over, and realms not limited to their own. Of course shapes that they took, there were so many things to keep in mind. Though he had to get himself back to the main point in order to properly answer Schezo's question. So after the few seconds of focus, he got back to the right thought. "My mother also trained me in much of my magic's usage. I honestly have a long way to go, but I have been keeping at the lessons that she taught me." of course thinking of his mother just made him smile, he'd come quite a ways so far, and he'd continue to do so for all his family's sake.

Kitsune...They're not common from where he hails from, but tales of them have been widespread from outside its origin culture. Inheriting magic from bloodline, though, is a common reason behind one's powers. Like Arrow's, Schezo's ability came from his mother. However, that alone was not sufficient; he had to foster it through study and practice, both of which he did so dilligently back in his school days.

"We're not so different in our magic power, it seems. I, too, had my magic power passed down from my mother, training it through study and practice. Powerful magicians do not come overnight; I was once there, after all. To tell more of myself, my homeland once held a tradition during an era of heroes."

Schezo put his cup down so he can draw the Dark Sword, being careful not to damage any of the furnishings around the room. It's clear like crystal, but its sharpness has not dulled one bit. A dark power sleeps within, but is faint outside the reaches of battle. He's had this same for what feels like eternity, and it was key to surviving to this day.

"Boys that came of age were traditionally taught how to wield a sword to honor those heroes. Needless to say, learning both magic and swordplay at once was a challenge."

The fact that the two shared such a kinship through the means of gathering magic, it was hearing about Schezo's studies that made him smile. He knew that the Dark blade wielder had a strong degree of energy within him. It showed during their previous adventure, of course during this time, the fox's excitement was carefully maintained during a sip of his tea. Just before the brew was lowered and the fox responded with a smile and some mentally plotted statements in mind. "I most certainly can agree, magic can be inherent but drawing it out and making use of it takes training, conviction, and focus. These things that I all try to work out to, though it has been a little difficult as I have been alone. I don't mean in the means of being lonely, more that I am not with proper training in any form of magic, at least not beyond what I have been trained in once at a time. I make sure to practice all the manners that I can!" 

There as he witnessed Schezo drawing his sword ever so carefully, the fox looked on and listened to the words spoken while just feeling the presence of the blade. It was not to say that it was wildly active, but the blade still had a sense all its own. It was a humbling moment for the fox to catch the meaning behind what he said, especially since it was something that he found to be very similar on his end. Training so hard in order to prove that one was a hero, well that and to match the coming of age, this sounded even more difficult than his intensive survival and martial arts training. "I can only say that I admire such dedication and of course, the skill that I did see! You have an ample weapon choice, in order to honor those heroes and still for its capacity in its own right. I mean such things like conducting magic and serving as a partner. It reminds me much of my own partners of battle, those weapons that have stuck with me up till now." 

He could not help but feel a little nostalgic, his weapons had been partners, all capable of conducting his powers, and reminding him of exactly why he fought so hard. It was this in a way that helped to give him the conviction to go on and to fight to improve the quality of life for many.

"Such teachings were traditionally done with a sword, though I've heard of some learning the axe. My swordsmanship was personally done under my stepfather's tutelage, usually after I return home from my magic school's teachings. To some extent of reckless dedication."

Schezo often found himself working too hard in his youth though. He was a studious one, and not to mention he tried perfecting his swordplay long into the night with a common bronze sword. He would sometimes find a way to sneak out and swing at a tree, and it'd be easy to tell if he passed by from all the nicks he leaves on it. Of course, such acts left their toll on Schezo's hands. He ungloved one of his hands, revealing...quite a bit of wear on his palm. The same can be assumed with his other hand. Well, when he's been doing that for the past century or so, it's going to bite him in the rear. He put the glove back on, as well as sheathed his sword.

"Magic at its core has been unchanging since the world came to be, yet can define the user from how they cast a spell. For me, I embrace my dark magic, even in spite of its dangers and tainted views. It fascinates me to see how others use their power...if they do have such powers, at the very least. In my home, magic is common place; encountering someone lacking magic is an unusual sight."

Schezo picked up his cup and sipped his tea...emptying it out.

Hearing of the extensive training that Schezo had undergone, the fox's expression continued to remain impressed. He nodded to his words, hearing that his father taught him so well, he could not help but be impressed. "I can only imagine that has given you plenty of time to be polished! I can imagine that you don't miss very often." he meant hitting targets, of course anyone had a lousy day, the fox was himself not one to hit every strike; but he practiced every day with every weapon. He made sure that he was going to make sure that he did not miss the opportunity to get himself into the mode of learning. To pick up a new lesson every single time, even if it was something that he missed that might have been easy on one part. Of course the fox did imagine a thing that came to mind, and that was just how much older the Mage Swordsman was compared to him. All that meant to him? Was experience that surpassed his own greatly, it made him smile brightly as he looked on, having another nice sip of his tea. Though near the bottom? He was still just enjoying it bit by bit.

Listening to the story of Magic being common in Schezo's home being so active with magic, it made him glad to hear that it had been. A regular occurrence made it very easy for one to accept magic. He could understand that it was common in his location, for the fox? It was a very common thing for him as well, though more silly, and antic related in his own experience. "My family also used magic! Even my father used a little magic, though it was a different nature when compared to our own. My sisters would play tricks or float things, my brother and I made a lot of tea, and mom would use magic to clean our messes, or keep us still if we were running everywhere. Heh, if you know what I mean!" a gentle laugh following this as he plopped down and let his tails sweep around behind him, he figured on what else he should be showing here, it was of course just a wandering thought on his mind, but not his focus at least. His guest was lots more engaging and that made it a lot of fun for him to continue to find things to talk about with him.

"Quite true, really."

It did stroke his ego a bit, but like with anyone, he's had his bad days. There was that one time he lost track of time so much, he sword swung his hands raw. His father wasn't having any of it when he came to breakfast with red palms, leading Schezo to wear the gloves he does now. there was also the time he did some rather childish mistakes in spell practice, when just wanted to improve himself, such as accidentally setting fire to the firewood supply. Whoops. Lessons learned. He does practice caution now, but his hands are certainly worn down from repeated training. And even then, juggling magic studies and sword training does spread him a bit thinner than a dedicated swordsman or mage. He has a swordsman physique, but not so pronounced as he tends to keep to his books. Or around the house as he learned.

"Haha, magic for the mundane tasks. I used to watch mother ignite the stove with fire magic. When I was a child that had yet to harness magic, I would stare in awe at how she did it."

Schezo waggled a finger to emulate how his mother cast a flame. Magic does wane from disuse, but he was glad his mom still was able to cast a spell even as she grew old. Thinking about it, however, he grew wistful. He's really old for human years, but at times, it's a curse to him.

"Reminscing how she did it makes me yearn for her cooking..."

"It sounds like its just an amazing thing, I mean that things are not beyond our thoughts, what our parents can do, what we ourselves are up to. And kind of how it all comes back around and balances for us as the next generation. We're trying to collectively make our lives better, I mean kind of the culmination with all of this, right?" Having gone on a small tirade, he rubbed his cheek in thought at what he'd just said. His words were reflective of consideration that ran between his mind and the conversation they'd had at hand. 

"Magic is indeed a use, beyond all else, as this is a good and regular degree in this part. I think its interesting how it is intuitively a part of life. For me that is as it was and for you it seems something similar. I suppose it just makes me put more thought into it...hn. That said, do you think you want more tea? Or perhaps a snack?" wanting to check on his visiting party's sense and whether or not he made have needed more. The many tailed fox was considering any number of things and this included such simple here to things that he could offer.
